SM Entertainment celebrates their 30th anniversary with the release of special "THE CULTURE" brand film [Shinhwa Changjo appears in the tribute]

SM Entertainment has released a special brand film titled "THE CULTURE" in celebration of their upcoming 30th anniversary.

The video offers a nostalgic glimpse into the history of one of the founding companies of K-pop, showcasing the iconic idols and groups that have emerged from SM Entertainment over the past three decades. The video is introduced with a heartfelt message: "30 years together. May this voice, this movement, this culture last forever."

The message continues, "SM Entertainment is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Thank you to all the fans and artists who have been with us in every moment of this 30-year journey and to everyone’s invaluable support and love, SM was able to create new culture and play a leading role in K-POP. We look forward to the dreams and stories we will continue to write together, and express our sincere gratitude to all."

SM Entertainment was founded by Lee Soo Man on February 14, 1995. The company will officially celebrate their 30th anniversary on February 14, 2025.

i already knew sm was being slick by mentioning the whole groups so more people buy tickets, feels like they will be releasing all kinds of merch when ontae do promote with shinee to make money off of them

no bcs the line up for this smtown concert is so disappointing like it's supposed to be an anniversary thing and you didn't call any old iconic group lol like the vid they released to promote it featured S.E.S H.O.T. shinhwa F(x)... also, every article talked about time traveling through esem eras like they are not serious. at the end of the day, I knew they'd use this concert to introduce their new rookies, and the new girl group sigh like its typical lolololololol

the worst thing about future shinee merch is that esem owns both taemari and jjinguwang trademarks, so they could release merch with those characters and yk

1.) EXO (& units)- self explantatory

2.) WayV- best music outside of Exo and the women

3.) Shinee- incredible music, incredible line up

4.) TVXQ- same as above but as a known Jaejoong and Junsu enjoyer, i have to mark them down a slot

5.) Riize- i enjoy the songs but i love every member so they're high on the list

6.) 127- Yuta my beloved,,,, if he had more lines and screen time, they'd be way higher on the list but he doesnt so they're not

7.) Shinhwa- music slaps and i love Andy especially for debuting some of my fave nugus

8.) Fly To The Sky- im not as familiar with their music (hence why they're low) but i love Brian Joo so much so they're a little high up

9.) HOT- i like a few songs and they're so iconic but i lowkey have beef with Kangta so

10.) Younique Unit- actually a perfect line up but they're down bc they only gave me one song and its a car ad (im counting them as a bg even tho we have Hyo as well but she can do whatever she wants)

11.) SuperM- some banger songs but Kai, Baek, and Taemin were better than this

12.) Dream- i like basically two songs, i just don't vibe with their music at all

13.) Wish- sorry to the children but idk them like that, its nothing personal

14.) Trax- i probably would like them but they basically disbanded before i even got into kpop so i never looked into them much

15.) Black Beat- never heard of them

16.) Dear Alice- british

17.) Suju-M- i love Henry so much and they gave me a banger song but they were basically useless and Henry deserved to be in a real group and i hate like basically every other member except Han Geng and Zhou Mi

18.) Suju- last for a fucking reason, hate them for real. terrible people but they have like three good songs. Eunhyuk and Ryeowook are alright but everyone else better watch out
