the protagonist of famicom detective club is a very generic soft spoken somewhat snarky detective type but honestly his voice actor put a lot of heart into the role and the uh big spoiler moment when the protagonist becomes narratively important was VERY well done... if i were to rework the plot though i’d nix the amnesia and weave the big twists in a bit more naturally to give our protagonist some more agency.
