I can not stop think about how Shin reminds me of Joan of Arc 🙃 I don't know how intentional this costume design was....

@triangulore put. an angsty scenario in my head so you all have to suffer with me ( I didnt want to annoy them with an ask or a pm)

So……….apperantly Shin has parallels with Joan of Arc who was burned at the stake for heresy…………..

Now imagine her confronting the son and Baylan with an army of Bandits……..power for her meant belonging and she is not gonna let them take that from her ( Baylan already did that once)

She might be able a challenge for Baylan……..but not for the son

His force lightning is enough to throw her to the ground

She is no use to him, a weak apprentice who secrectly longs for the comfort of light and is unwilling to sacrifice what she holds dear for the dark

She doesn`t believe in their cause ( Hersey)

And so he punishes her ( Lightning it burns like fire on her skin, she is burning)

Screams, tears, sobbing, finally begging

The son watches her, and Baylan is motionless besides him

( His eyes yellow from corruption, ears deaf to the girl calling his name)

(He is also blind to the sons smile)

LOL. I've been saying since episode 1 that Shin Hati looks like Joan of Arc, and I'm not alone. It's not subtle. Why are the big Youtubers sometime the last people to notice these things?
