Fantastic exhibition at the @shifteyegallery titled "Tutaonana Siku Za Usoni" - Digital Rdflections of a Kenyan Future. Goethe Institut Kenya collaborated with @ihub on three projects, the works on View are Futurescape by Odipo Dev an experiential data based simulation on the future in kenya ( Bloody Fantastic ), Relay Point Omega by Alexander Ikawah a fantastic futuristic movie based on Nairobi and issues relating to Income Distribution and classes and lastly Zamani Yajayo by Melisa Allela and Lenny Njagih which is an animated Shortclips based on different Kenyans options of the Future of Kenya in Fifty Years it's awesome you could spend a whole day watching them. All in all pass by exhibition opened today! I was lucky enough to attend the #FearAndDesire film and photography exhibition at the Shifteye Gallery on the last day. A fashion themed exhibition with brilliant work by a team of focused and talented guys putting Kenya on the map. Also interacted and learnt a whole great deal from part of the team. On Saturday30th July we open our doors for the "Arts To End Slavery" #A2ES exhibition here at The #ShifteyeGallery along #ArgwingsKodhek Rd.. An exhibition presented by @haartkenya & @pawa254 | Doors open at 6pm this Saturday. The exhibition runs until Sat13th July and entry is FREE. The gallery is open Mon-Fri 10am-6pm | Sat 12pm-6pm |CLOSED on Sunday's & Public Holidays.
