I inflicted pain upon myself by thinking about Shi Qingxuan and now you have to hear it too...
Because, since they're mortal again now they're bound to pass away eventually. That means Xie Lian just has to watch his friend, who was once immortal, pass away. And what is a human lifespan relative to someone who's lived for centuries and will live on for many more?
