#all the care guide says is 'biomass'#no she will not act like shes anything odd or unusual to see#her being a merfolk isnt weird or worthy of note stop getting all squirmy about it#she will show up in human only spaces and make it everyone elses problem to deal with#shut up about your destroyed view of yourself as the only sapient species she needs to buy a snack for her wife#you have to imagine a clearly nonhuman monster showing up inside a store#and refusing to act like they arent just a normal customer#and miranda gets away with it too#shes so good at imposing the fear of committing a social faux pas#now YOURE the one being WEIRD and HOSTILE in PUBLIC#excellent way to get people just to start talking to her like a person
