I was looking at some images of the Raz plushie, and I couldn't get it out of my head how it looked like Tim was putting Raz to sleep-

So I had Frazie do the same, just to make fun of her little brother hshshhs

personal ranking Frazie's potential internship mentors in no particular order. this has been sitting in my drafts for 100 years and i only just finished my thoughts.

Milla: Frazie would feel a little conscended to bc of Milla's doting talks to kids for a living demeanor but aside from that the duo would probably be the most well behaved and functional as a teacher/student dynamic, and therefore a little boring for a story but nice in concept. 4/10

Sasha: Sasha sees the same kind of potential in Frazie as he does with Raz and I think she would pick up psiblasts with ease. She might dunk on him for his style and complain about her brother gushing about his comic spots. 5/10

Oleander: She would simply cartwheel away from him and ask for a reassignment, 1/10

Hollis: Hollis is a stern brain buster who could definitely butt heads with Frazie but I think in a way that would ignite Frazie's inclination to do well in the whole learning Psychic Powers business; their back and forth could be something great. 7/10

Ford: Same as Oleander but the intensity of any of the Aquato kids starring daggers at Ford elevates the brief interaction for the drama levels alone. 2/10

Otto: Although we don't have any indication about Frazie's like or dislike of tech I think the novelty of psychic devices would hold her attention. 4/10

Compton: She wants to learn to be the best darn horse girl she can be and she's disappointed to learn Compton's more of an insects kinda guy, but now that Compton's working on getting himself out of the isolation chamber a little more he might enjoy meeting Sugarcube. 6/10

Helmut: A fan favorite mentorship concept for (imo) good reason. Helmut's performance based psychic powers tie into circus life surprisingly well and Frazie is sometimes perplexed by his teaching methods (positive, mostly). 8/10

Cassie: Frazie doesn't seem the type to be interested in the kind of literature Cassie brings to the table nor the style of teaching she seems to exhibit with the teacher archetype, might be another mentorship where Frazie feels talked down to. 2/10

Bob: Bob doesn't feel like he'd be very on board for trying to teach kids, but he would be open to teaching Frazie fun tricks and attacks, she has a similar spunk to Lili that I think would make the mentorship work after Bob gets over the inital hang up. 6/10

Lucy: Learning Psychic Powers from your grandma who is not your grandma and who might've tried to send you to psychic summer camp if you were a little nerdier sure is a lot of weight to put on this interaction. 8/10

blorbo - fav character(s) - ouh god how could i not go for sasha and milla. its obviously them. oleander and loboto are great too but ohh those two have permenant residence in my mind. i tend to think about sasha more because he's an off-putting and very autistic green science man but theyre both great. milla makes me want to fall down on my hands and knees thinking about her for too long. no milla your swag is too strong. they'll kill you. they should watch austin powers movies together and smoke a bunt. they come as a set tbh. do not seperate!!

scrunkly - the 'babies', cuteness aggression character - half the games cast are teens/kids and raz is Literally Ten so the baby half of this is answered for!! why are you a child! anyway real answer though? no idea. i hardly see characters as the baby unless its for the bit. i want to comfort the kid versions of the adult characters you see in memory vaults though, does that count? enough horrors, lets go get you guys an oversized lollipop!!!

scrimblo bimblo - underrated/underappreciated fav - i think frazie aquato, raz's older sister, definitely has horrors and things going on and i wouldnt object to seeing her side of things during psychonaut's story. like, shes a psychic too! but she kept it hidden from her family because they hated them! and then thats suddenly flipped on its head and everything she was taught to hate about psychics, and by exstention herself, was just a big contradictory lie?? dude. i'd kill. theres more i could add onto this but the context is some pretty big spoilers so i shall zip my lipz.... i also need to think about cassie o'pia more. the tall bee lady!!! i really like her level in pn2, ive gotta dig my teeth into her story more. also her and compton qpr realness!!!

glup shitto - obscure fav - i cant think of anybody who feels obscure to me tbh! even the campers in psychonauts 1 have their own quick moments. speaking of, i'll probably go for chloe from pn1. shes just a weird alien girl!! sheegor too, she's great. a true obscure one though?

this thing. god i love the stupid lungfish baby its so stupid. it only shows up for like 5 seconds and its so fucking funny god

poor little meow meow - pathetic fav - i cant think of any favs i have that fall into the controversial category so im going for guys who are just lame. and i think loboto has plenty of those moments, it has to be coach oleander. hes really lame. i think hes just neat. i should rewatch a gameplay of the rhombus of ruin again just for him he has some great moments. sasha, are you holding the talking turtle. we love a short king etc. ...oh and maybe raz's dad just a little bit. nothing wrong with him besides being naturally flawed i just think hes a bit lame in pn2 and thats fun actually. does his wife know if hes single? i mean what. who said that.

horse plinko - character i'd torment for fun - oh theres a guy i have in mind but his entire identity is a spoiler. so, besides him, probably sasha. not because i hate him but rather i just want to throw him at the walls and see what would happen, lovingly. i mean i constantly used raz's psi-powers to attack other characters so i guess i was built for this but definitely sasha. i want to turn him into one of those gooey alien toys and throw him as hard as i can at the ceiling <3

eeby deeby - character i would send to superhell - ford cruller. why did he fucking do that. i'd let him out after a while im sure he'd be fine. also those scary children from the milkman conspiracy level because they were creepyyyy...

1 - Augustus is the epitome of "pure of heart dumb of ass". he loves his wife, he loves his kids, he loves his mom-slash-aunt, but oh my god hes dumb as rocks. he knows the basics he needs to know! he knows money counting math, physics specifically for acrobatics, and he understands measurements for when he has to help sew new patches onto his kids clothes, but thats it.

he knows the necessities and basics. this man cant do calculus, but he CAN adore his wife and help his kids practice their balancing acts by explaining how their centers of gravity works.

hes just big n dumb n full of love and thats all u need

2 - Augustus is an AMAZING cook. absolutely godsent. this man cooks both easily and deliciously. hes the one who usually cooks for the family, with Donatella's help since shes good at chopping things finely and fast. he makes a lot of food thats simple to make and good for leftovers since they have so many kids n live on a budget constantly. but this man makes it work. he makes this shit look easy and its rude. Augustus's love language is definitely cooking

3 - Augustus is the one who patched the kids up a lot. he already knew a lot about first aid from being part of the circus literally all his life, but post-Maligula incident he stepped it up to take care of himself and his monster. Augustus kept up with it, and even looked into first aid books when he was in a city or town with a library near wherever the circus set up.

he knows his kids can be hurt easy, especially since they start performing young, so he likes to keep first aid stuff around the caravan.

i say this cause i need yall to know hes the parent who gently comforts his kids when they get hurt, be it broken bones or even simple scraped knees. and yes, the younger ones get the "pain pain, go away" deal.

and a fun secret 4th hc cause i cant stop- yes Augustus' fixation is indeed trains. and yes, he really REALLY liked that train set he had that got "crushed". after that happened, though, he never tried to get more or rebuild the set. it was a lot of money that they cant really afford anymore. plus, Augustus is too busy for hobbies when hes got a whole family AND circus to take care of. tho i do think hes got a small train that survived the disaster next to his bed. its a lil one but its nice

5. First Headcanon that Pops into Mind

Augustus is the one who helps do everyone’s hair! He learned how to after years of practice with helping Lucretia maintain her long unruly locks. How else could he learn how to maintain that beard??

He does Mirtala’s braids just the way she likes it. He holds Dona’s hair back and braids while she does her make up. He helps Frazie brush her impossible curls out when they’re at their worst. He bought Dion’s prized pomace and taught him how to use it (even though Dion way overdoes it.)

He even helped Raz straighten his out to resemble Sasha Nein, despite thinking curly hair looks just fine on the boy.

6. One Way I Relate to Them

I too, as an adult, am reviewing my childhood in retrospect and realize oh yeah some of that shit was kind of fucked up.

Panromatic. Demisexual. A very romantic woman, but you gotta show her dedication before she commits.

That woman could have anyone in the world, but she only has eyes for Augustus and boy does he know it.

3. BrOTP

A tie between Milla Vodello (they both had baby Razputin for their clairvoyance view!!!), and, oddly enough, Hollis Forsythe. Once Dona’s gotten over her whole fortune teller bias, I think she’d respect the woman for working so hard for an organization that clearly doesn’t give a lot of love back. They’re both over-protective of their children/interns, and stress over funding. They have a lot in common and should be drinking buddies at least. I bet if nothing else, Hollis is loads of fun to gossip or mutually vent with.

5. First Headcanon that Pops into Mind

She has a guilty love of collecting postcards and maps from any truck stop or nature park the Aquatos happen to stop by. Living on the road might be tough, but she’s always loved the adventure of traveling. She’s tried to compartmentalize this hobby into cataloging their travels along with their budgets, something that Razputin picked up from her with his love of journaling and organizing tasks.

6. One Way I Relate to this Character

As my own home’s major breadwinner and a manager at a small business, I relate to the stress she’s under trying to keep the circus afloat. I’m very grateful I don’t live on the road or have kids tho. She’s got my respect for juggling work with family, especially while in the middle of everything with a runaway child and war-crime-committing mother-in-law.

7. Second Hand Embarrassment Things They Do

The guilt tripping. Dona. Sweetie. Love of Augustus’s Life. I know you got a lot going on right now, but making your kid feel miserable about running away isn’t gonna change Razputin’s mind about going through with being a Psychonaut.
