little backstory below;

Kikyo was abandoned in Meteor City (canon!) as a baby, and grows up fighting for resources

At a young age (6-8) she is picked up by the head butler of a wealthy aristocratic woman

There are several young girls there, all named after flowers;

(ex: Hasu - Lotus, Fuji - Wisteria, Momo - Peach, Kiku - Chrysanthemum)

The butlers name her "Kikyo" (Bellflower)

She is put to work cleaning, and is enamored with the luxury life that the madame leads

She especially loves her Rococo dresses and fabulous kimono

Her time at the manor teaches her proper manners and etiquette, as well as how to dress properly

When she is 14 the madame passes away, and she leaves the manor

Kikyo wants a job that will pay well so she can live lavishly too

She is recruited to join a crime syndicate, and hones her fighting skills there

Her Nen fully awakens from the vicious effort she puts into her training

(She is a Manipulator, and her ability is centered around her eyes - making eye contact with her leaves you open to persuasion/hypnosis 👁👁 however, her temper makes her aura surge, and she has been known to literally pop her enemies head's on accident 💀)

Kikyo becomes skilled with assassinations, but she’s not satisfied with her income

She pays her way out of the gang, and moves to Yorkshin to work solo

By the time she is 17, she is living in a very expensive apartment in Yorkshin
