Okay im not even op my kids were all formula fed from birth but is offering boob a bfing culture when they tantrum? I asked my sister this as she often does the same but after redirecting and a younger baby not and okder toddler (but like you said its each parent and each kid specific). I would never have offered a bottle of formula or milk when my kid was throwing a fit so its justa foreign concept to me. Does it really offer that much comfort to a kiddo?

Uhm yes, it really does offer that much comfort to a kiddo. I only nursed one baby for 5 months and he hated it most of the time, but even so it was still comforting to him. There’s so much research out there that shows the oxytocin release while nursing. It can be so strong, in fact, that infants who nurse while getting vaccines feel significantly less pain. So yes, it’s a huge comfort and can easily stop a tantrum in its tracks. ⚡️
