she chewed the inside of her lip when he spoke back. having prepared herself mentally for some form of communication that wouldn't be in her favor. she knew that he wouldn't be easy to get through to, but she felt her heart sink nonetheless. she shouldve learned how to armor her heart like a ticking time bomb, but she wasn't that good at doing that. not when it came to him.

her lips pulled into a pout, " but puddin'-! " she stopped herself as he asked her to grab something. her hands reaching for the bag of all sorts of guns. though she sighed as she did so , " if I'm lost - really am - it's cause I'm stuck on this carnival ride with ya'. " batting her eyelashes as she meant both in partial due to her obsession with him , her feelings and also her anguish. though the carnival ride was only a metaphor. she tried to not let his remark eat through her brain.

she pushed her elbows into the table that @chaoticjoke was working at. shoving her face into her palms and looking over what seemed to grasp his attention more than her. she was silent only for a couple of seconds, " ya' know - we neva' go out anymore. . . N' you just look so ' happy ' polishing your pretty weapons when we could go out . . . maybe ta' a restaurant? " was she inciting a date? most of her life was one big chance at going to the arcade and eating a nice steak with him. though , this also wasn't THE FIRST TIME SHE ASKED. begged even, " some place big and fancy like - like Italian restaurants ! "
