The types of HolPol I can't get enough of 💕...in my head, at least.

1) canon Part 3 HolPol

The main ship. The sexual tension, the rivalry, the jealousy, the enemy-to-lovers trope...the only holpol version that I see them fighting and arguing in, before the lovemaking. It's dysfunctional yet perfect in every sense. I only wished they had more screen time together.

2) half canon Part 3.5 Hol (CDDH) x Part 5 Polnareff

I hc that CDDH Hol did meet up with Part 5 Pol...or at least pre-part 5 Pol before he rode a literal chariot. There's even an au I wholeheartedly supported - Hol joining La Squadra to eliminate the boss, thinking he had offed his beloved Pol, only to be reunited again after he shot Diavolo dead. Love this au because Pol lives ;v;♡

3) semi-canon post-Part 5 HolPol

This is the first au I came up with. Unlike the one above, Hol had lost Pol pre-Post 5 and went on a hunt for him, only to run into a group of thieves who infiltrated Passione (now led by Giorno) to steal the arrowhead. Things happened, Pol somehow had his turtle body transformed into a human (it's an OC's Stand power...I can elaborate if you're interested), and they both went on an adventure from Italy to Germany to get the arrowhead back. Not entirely a romantic HolPol story...I just want them to go on a JoJo-like adventure for once.

4) Steampunk/Post-apocalyptic AU (gunslinger Hol x swordsman Pol)

This came up on a whim. I didn't extend it much other than Hol was a hired gun who teamed up with engineer Avdol and their pet Iggy, going from one location to another for jobs. Meanwhile, Pol was on a mission to escort the priest Kakyoin to a city. They met, fought together, kiss, bed wrestle, so on and so forth...

5) Fantasy/Medieval AU (knight Pol x prince Hol)

This started with a mix of my own reading about tarot cards and some neat fanarts of Pol in an armour and Hol on a royal throne. Then my hands got itchy and I played with ChatGPT with this idea. The AI gave me a handful of short stories that eventually made me fell in love with this au. Somehow their love story also included Avdol as a royal advisor, Jotaro as another knight, and Dio as the enemy warlord.

6) Domestic/Modern AU HolPol

I know this is a boring au, but hear me out. Pol, a fashionista, socialite city boy, in love with Hol, a rugged, charming rancher from the mountains. Two different worlds, yet they made a cozy, loving household together. Boingo and Sherry would be supporting them a lot, if not join in their shenanigans. I will forever gush with this au, and anyone's interpretation of this au , for me, is hella valid.

My...Purpose?

Polnareff raised Sherry

Their mom died when Sherry was a baby and Polnareff was really young

Their father was never truly in the picture

Just barely there enough to keep a roof over their heads and food in their stomachs

Until he left them all together leaving Polnareff the sole caretaker of Sherry

He spent most of his life working

He didn’t care about his education enough to decline a shift or seek higher education

All he cared about was making sure he could keep their house and keep Sherry fed, clothed, and as happy as she could be

He poured his whole life into taking care of her 

So when she died, it broke him

He left heartbroken

He felt lost

Just completely and utterly alone

He thought of nothing else besides getting revenge on the person who hurt her and took her from him

So when he finally gets his revenge, he feels lost again

Alone

So he poured his heart and energy into this fight against DIO 

But when DIO is defeated 

And everyone goes their separate ways 

He begins to feel lost and alone once more

A drift with nowhere to go

We know he went back home to France, 

but I think he didn’t even step inside his childhood home

It would be too painful

So I think he travels around the world under the guise of “finding other Stand Users” 

Maybe to train them

Maybe to make sure they don’t use their power for evil

But he really has no purpose in life after everything is said and done

Going back to school?

Getting a job?

No

No that’s just not on the table anymore

He can’t just sit still anymore

So when he finds out about the Stand Arrows

He latches onto that thread and follows it as far as it goes

It doesn’t matter that it brings him toe to toe with Diavolo

It doesn’t matter that his body is broken

It doesn’t matter his friend left him in Italy with no hope of escape

Because he can now pour his life and soul into stopping some grand evil once more

And he doesn’t have to live alone with his thoughts about Sherry and Kakyoin and Avdol and Iggy

So no, it doesn’t matter to him that he’s killed

Doesn’t matter that he possesses a turtle

As long as they get the bad guy

As long as he doesn’t have to think about the people he’s lost

But after Diavolo is gone? 

He begins to feel that lost feeling all over again

But he joins Giorno

Is glad to become his right-hand man and help run this grand mafia operation

Because he’ll do or be anything

As long as he doesn’t have to think about the past

As long as he’s not alone again

Lamia Scale Headcanon’s 4.

(This one’s a continuation from the first one) The list of words Gray sent were actually insults or funny phrases in Isvan and the one he wrote for Hello was ‘Potato Head’ in Isvan. It was even funnier to the Lamia Scale group because Jura was the first to say it

Lyon is a very blunt honest overly detailed drunk. He will share gory stories to the last detail if you get him too drunk. Thankfully his friends know when to drag him away before he traumatizes everyone in the room.

Back when Wendy was in Lamia Scale Lyon used to let her lean on him in train rides since his naturally cold body temperature helped her nausea. She has yet to tell Gray about this. P

Whenever Wendy talked down about herself Chelia would squeeze her cheeks as punishment.

Jura once tried to get a list of what crimes Sherry Tony and Yuka did in the northern continent…after seeing my that it was over 10 pages long and still not done he gave up. Didn’t even bother trying to get Lyon to share the novel of trouble he had.

One time Chelia and Lyon ran into the Sabertooth gang while walking around. Sting tried to show off comparing Slayer powers until Chelia said in a quiet voice she didn’t have them anymore. Now out of guilt every time she sees Sting he treats her to a free meal.

Chelia and Wendy have saved 7 boxes of animals and have gone around finding homes for them. 3 kittens 2 puppies rabbits and for some strange reason a tank of turtles.

Lyon’s a big book nerds half of his books are on animals, a third on magic theory the rest are on fictional stories.

Yuka is assigned as Toby’s babysitter doesn’t know how it happened it just happened.

Sherry stays in contact with people from Brago even after she married Ren

Hot Gingered Pygmy Mammoth & Jumbo Shrimp Salad

Feeds your whole tribe.

1 pygmy mammoth, boned and cubed (about 1 ton) 1 ton jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined (many many ordinary shrimps, or one Ebirah claw) 10 buckets sesame seeds 60 pounds bean thread noodles if you are an Eastern tribe, whatever your tribe uses for noodles otherwise. If you have not yet invented the noodle, this might be a good time to do so. 1 bucket vegetable oil 1 bucket sesame oil Salt 10 buckets minced fresh ginger 6 buckets minced garlic 15 buckets dry Sherry 15 buckets rice wine vinegar 60 pounds sugar 60 buckets diced fresh mangoes 15 buckets chopped green onions Big Snorgul's helmet full of red pepper flakes 10 buckets chopped fresh cilantro, plus 5 Big Snorgul's helmets fresh cilantro, garnish 1000 large heads lettuce, cored and leaves separated (a raid on the People Who Grow Stuff may be necessary) 30 buckets thinly sliced, peeled, seeded, drained cucumbers, or just chop up the damn cucumbers and say "Fie to thee!" a lot All the chives you got

Preheat a giant turtle shell over a fumarole. A big giant turtle. Put some oil in there. Make sure no other giant turtles are around to see you do this.

On a flat rock, stirring with your Stick of the Dining God, dry cook the sesame seeds over medium heat until they are brown and smell good. Remove from the heat. Add the noodles to the turtle shell and fry fast until puffy and the color of sunrise. Remove from the oil and drain on non-itchy leaves. Throw salt. Set aside.

Sear the mammoth meat on the flat rock. Salt but don't overdo it, you remember what happened to the Chest-Clutching Tribe of the Plains. Drain.

Get a less giant turtle shell. Okay, think of this as a celebration dish for a good turtle hunt and shrimp catch. Make the vegetable oil and most of the sesame oil dance. Add the shrimp, mammoth, ginger, and garlic, and cook fast, stirring, until the shrimp are just pink and firm. Doom of Ten Thousand Wretched Canapés awaits those who overcook shrimp. Remove from the shell with pole weapons. Add the sherry and vinegar, and sing the Song of Deglazing over medium heat. Add the sugar and stir until it is one with the sauce. Cook until half the fluid is gone. Feed anybody who thinks this is waste to the giant turtles. Add the rest of the sesame oil, mangoes, green onions, and pepper flakes, and stir to warm through and wilt. No, this wilt is good. Tell the people it is the wilt of the Wilt God. You need all the mojo you can get. Remove from the heat and add the shrimp and ginger, and the cilantro. Stir to warm through and do the Highly Dramatic Ritual of Adjusting the Seasoning to Taste.

Now your tribal status is on the thin edge of the cleaver. Have everybody bring what they eat off of. You know your tribe. Put lettuce on whatever they hold out and spread the hot stuff on it. Those who have no eating platters should be used to the drill by now. Arrange cucumber slices on top in whatever symbolic pattern seems propitious to you and sprinkle with the toasted sesame seeds. If you have a really tough tribe, yell "Bam!" until they get a groove going. Add fried noodles, cilantro sprigs, and chives, and watch for any signs of people keeling over that can't be blamed on strong drink.

The french woman of all time!! One of the few in canon Female Turbo Duelists in 5ds!! (And by few, I mean two) she's so cool even with her few counts of breaking and entering like I genuinely enjoy the fact she's a woman with a plan and is willing to go the mile for her goals

Also her bike god her bike's design is so fucking good Storm (as tag force called it I dont exactly remember the name duel links gave it) with the medival horse motif like god it's so unique (Shout out to Mizaguchi too he's a real one for sticking with her for all these years)

I guess if i had to pinpoint anything it's the fact she was so easily willing to jump ship to Illiaster when Z-ONE gave her the chance to see her parents again because that's clearly more important than the fact a temple is being dropped on a city yet at the same time I get it especially considering they'd literally been murdered when she was like 6 or 7

The suit absolutely! Just like the pairing of the colours because the white and magenta play off each other really well and the darker colours from her shoulder pads and breast protection plate are a good contrast

What Happened To Turtle Soup? How A Dish Became A Delicacy Then Disappeared! In The 19th Century, Turtle Soup Was The Hottest Dish Around.

If you walked into an upscale New York City restaurant 150 years ago, there was one staple you’d be almost certain to see on the menu: turtle soup.

Even beyond white tablecloth establishments, the love for this dish extended everywhere. President William Howard Taft hired a White House chef specifically to make turtle soup. Campbell’s sold cans of mock turtle soup. And iconic cookbookThe Joy of Cooking featured a turtle soup recipe as recently as 1974.

But unlike some other food trends you may be familiar with — hello, cake pops in the 2010s — turtle soup wasn’t a short-lived fad that lasted for only a few years, and turtle has a long history in American food culture.

Turtle meat was part of Indigenous people’s diets in both North America and the Caribbean before Europeans ever arrived, and colonists in turn learned they could eat the animals.

At first, Europeans valued turtle meat as an inexpensive ingredient — it was used by sailors for easy sustenance, or as a protein for enslaved people in the colonies — but it eventually became considered a delicacy, and Americans spooned bowls of turtle soup as a sign of status from the 18th through 20th centuries. So what happened after two hundred years of popularity?

Overfishing is to blame, but so are changing tastes.

What Is Turtle Soup?

In its first iteration across the United States, turtle soup was typically made with green sea turtles, which lent the dish its signature viscous texture that turned gelatinous as it cooled.

European sailors brought Caribbean sea turtles back home at least as early as the 1700s, and the British experimented with preparations of the animal, ranging from simmering its fins in broth to making steaks.

Their love of the ingredient and recipes for cooking it eventually found their way back to American plates, where it was even easier access to the reptiles. Although it’s listed on menus in the 1840s (around when restaurants first started using menus in the U.S.), turtle soup is clearly documented as a popular delicacy beginning in the mid 1700s.

Breaking down a sea turtle to make soup was a celebratory — and messy — affair. In New York City, restaurants even advertised when a new one arrived. “When it showed up, the green turtle made a soup,” Henry Voigt, a historian with a collection of over 10,000 historical American menus, recounts to Food & Wine. “Can you imagine? A 300-pound turtle and you're going to butcher this thing in the kitchen. I can’t imagine.”

A recipe from the 1880s in journalist and food critic William Grimes’ book Appetite City; The Culinary History of New York spells out exactly how this was done. The turtle was butchered and drained, then a stock was made with its organ meat, pork and veal knuckles, onions, turnips, carrots, and spices including bay leaves and allspice. After the meat was boiled and separated from the shell and bones, it was added to the broth with red pepper, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and sherry.

But as popular as green turtle soup was across the country, it wasn’t always available. To satisfy their cravings, eager diners could order mock turtle soup instead, which substituted its namesake meat with more accessible and inexpensive alternatives like calf’s head.

“Mock turtle soup (made with calf's head or veal) was a kind of faux-genteel, budget-conscious dish, much as you might substitute pork cutlets for veal scallopini now,” Dr. Paul Freedman, a food historian and professor of history at Yale University, tells Food & Wine.

The calf’s head gave the soup the same gelatinous quality as the green sea turtle, but it was a distinctly different food. Voigt notes that “Nobody would be fooled. I think the mock turtle soup was a dish on its own.”

Mock turtle soup grew its own dedicated following. The dish became so well-known it was referenced in Lewis Carroll’s original Alice's Adventures in Wonderland as a character named “Mock Turtle.” And Andy Warhol even said mock turtle was his favorite rendition of Campbell’s canned soups.

The Popularity of Turtle Soup Endangered More Than One Species of Turtle

Even though mock turtle soup made this dish more widely available, real turtle soup maintained its status as a coveted delicacy. As Americans feasted on bowls of their favorite high-end menu item, green sea turtles became increasingly rare, with populations starting to dwindle by the 1820s. In the 1890s, the price of green turtles had doubled in New York City compared to what they had cost just five years earlier.

Green sea turtles weren't the only turtle or tortoise available for people to cook, but they had built a reputation as a sign of luxury. During the 19th century, snapping turtles were part of enslaved folks’ diets in some areas of the country. But to satiate the country’s appetite for sea turtles, Americans turned to one of the animal’s other relatives: terrapin. These smaller turtles commonly live in brackish waters, and the most sought-after species of the 1800s was diamondback terrapin sourced from the Chesapeake Bay. The diamondback was historically also eaten by enslaved people along the East Coast of the U.S.

“No dish was more prestigious than terrapin in the 19th-century United States,” Freedman writes in his 2020 book Man-Eating Monsters: Anthropocentrism and Popular Culture. Like green sea turtle, terrapin was typically served as a thick soup (like a chowder), and terrapin stew was even on the menu for Abraham Lincoln’s second inauguration ball.

Despite its popularity, America’s love affair with terrapin didn’t last. The turtles were quickly overfished, and development along the East Coast destroyed and polluted their natural habitats. Terrapins were already rare by 1900, began disappearing from menus in the 1920s, and by the 1950s, terrapin dishes were few and far between.

Diminishing populations of sea turtles and terrapins made it increasingly difficult to find real turtle soup. But surprisingly, as the original dish became scarce, so did mock turtle soup.

“It's probably related to both the textures and the taste,” Voigt says, explaining that Americans no longer desire gelatinous textures as much as they used to. He points to a few other once-widespread dishes that have now become less common as evidence that flavor preferences have changed, like offal, chicken liver, and whortleberries.

“We tend to be extremely narrow in our sense of what is desirable,” Freedman details. “Things of the relatively recent past — organ meat, for example — are now shunned.”

Even if American palates were still oriented towards the old school recipes for turtle soup, the green sea turtle has been designated as an endangered species since 1978, and terrapin populations are still considered vulnerable today. But for anyone who is craving something akin to this traditional delicacy, you can head to Louisiana to get a taste of the turtle soup that’s still part of its current culinary scene.

Can You Still Try Turtle Soup?

If you do try turtle, you’ll find it doesn’t quite taste like fish. It’s closer to a meat in its flavor and texture, falling somewhere between chicken and veal. Some people say it tastes like alligator meat, which is also often compared to chicken.

“People worry about it being gamey, and it really isn't,” Melvin Rodrigue, the president of iconic New Orleans restaurant Galatoire's, explains to Food & Wine. The institution has served turtle soup since its founding in 1905, and still has it on the menu. Rodrigue says it’s one of the restaurant’s most popular dishes among tourists and locals alike.

Turtle soup has long been a part of New Orleans' Creole cuisine, and early gumbos from the 18th century even used sea turtle broth. But the city’s version of turtle soup is usually — and always today — made with the common snapping turtle. Several other old-school New Orleans restaurants still serve authentic turtle soup, including Brennan’s, Mandina’s, and Commander's Palace.

Galatoire’s sources its turtle meat from local snapping turtle farms and makes the soup with ground turtle meat, beef broth, onion, bell pepper, celery, and a brown roux as the base. The restaurant finishes the dish with hard boiled eggs, lemon juice, and sherry. Rodrigue describes the soup as “approachable” due to its beef broth base. The restaurant’s recipe does share some similarities with historic versions of turtle soup — like the sherry — but it’s a good deal less gelatinous.

As for mock turtle soup, you can find that in New Orleans too, and even grab a quart from local grocery Langenstein’s to take home — its recipe uses a mix of pork, veal, and roasted turkey. And for anyone not in the area, you can still buy it in a can.

End of Day 3

So the end of Day 3 and my installation is complete. Again I spent several hours moving the objects around, viewing them from all different angles and seeing how the work and the space were communicating. This part of the installation was the thing I was most looking forward to.

The way that I am viewing the installation is the the blue structure gives you a framework to view the work. As you l move around the structure, some objects come into focus and the blue directional lines frame the work wherever you pause. I think I have tried to create a viewing experience that encouraged people to be inquisitive and interact with the work in a non-tactile way. I wanted to encourage people to spend time with my objects, to consider their importance and to reflect on their own evocative objects in the space and I think this mode of viewing facilitates that.

There are many different layers to this work, including the lengthy research into cultural identity in the diaspora that I did during my dissertation. Additionally I have used Sherry Turtle’s writings on sentimental objects as a framework in the production of this work.

Using that framework I have been able to look at my own cultural experience and the research of cultural identity through the lenses of evocative objects. I have some new thoughts regarding this. I believe that as a member of a diaspora community, I use evocative objects to anchor my memories which help me to place and understand my culture. By understanding my family first, I can better place and understand my wider cultural landscape. Also, as an autistic person understanding the context around things is hugely important for me. Spending time with my dad over the last few months and discussing our family and our culture whilst using the objects he has collected, has been a real privilege and something that makes me want to further those conversations.

I think that a community element of my practice is emerging. I would love to host community conversations connecting diaspora communities. Bringing people together to talk about our experiences of culture, the diaspora and sentimental objects is something I would really love to do.

Pathfinder alternator removal and installation got to take out many pieces

I'm trying to change the alternator in the Pathfinder for some reason it's done from below and they couldn't do it and they said it's a sign and so on and they tried to get the money by taking this out there it didn't work at all and there's about Mars or something and people don't want to see that so it's kind of stupid the money didn't move to Boston and these people are unbearable so damn dumb they're running around town wearing different colored shirts and my husband says good it's like the Grease the movie but easier to tell so they got it and they stop doing it and it's raining and people say it's just cuz they're stupid and just sitting there threatening the two and life became unbearable right now BG is keeping the idiots out of France and he's using army if I text stuff and mercenaries who are minority warlock miscellaneous and some others and they can't get in yet and it's going to be war and it is edge of Tomorrow and Stan and Tom Cruise get involved and they're kind of at odds greatly and it starts a little bit of a fight between them and weekens stan and he's actually screwing around with my husband a lot and not letting him have anything and threatening him a lot and he gets beat up and that stand and starts taking hits and lose his stuff he goes down more or less than goes in Star wars trying to get stuff back and he loses stuff there and pretty much starts to get pushed out of the pseudo empire and it starts to scavenge his stuff and they eventually keep him out and Sherry is the one except to the checks I'm starting pretty soon maybe even before the next check and that's what's happening but changes are happening now. They went flying out to Boston with the money put it in the bank and drove away and people are kind of horrified they're pretty big trucks and they went back to their base and the trumps were upset and there's going to be more money moved around like this and they're going to try and get to it first and say it.

ok so the first one i made is one of the kids in his group, and their name is Drew (nickname turned preferred name). Drew was 11 in 1999, and they were probably the closest with Shawn of all the kids! Drew had long red curly hair in 1999, and was constantly the emoticon :D

i have them meeting up with Shawn again in the end of 2006 (after scary sherry takes place). their dad is a philosophy professor who got a job opportunity at UCSB, so basically Drew hears abt Shawn in the papers and tracks him down. lmao

the second oc was another counselor at the camp, real name Corey and camp name Sea Turtle. he taught scuba diving and he was friends with Shawn because they both taught on the lake. (dont question why hes scuba diving in a lake ok)

Warning to all fiber artists

This is an updated and abbreviated post to warn all fiber artists about a scam artist that is currently fleecing the community.  I will keep this post pinned and updated with new information as it becomes available.

There is a scam artist in the fiber arts community named Sherry Tenney.  She sells fleece and wool on facebook and etsy.  She frequently does not send the fleece or wool she has been paid for, and plays the customer until the time window for a dispute is passed.  Afterward, if you continue to contact her, she will leave unhinged, violent, and threatening messages to you, doxx your name and address on her facebook live streams and posts, and still refuse to either send product or refund you.

A lot of complaints have also come forward about the product she does send out.  It is frequently moth and larvae infested, contains large amounts of shit, completely matted fleeces, or are trimmings that are completely unusable.  If you have received product from her you must quarantine it and freeze and bake it to destroy the moths and larvae.

She frequently tries to force smaller fleece sellers from small farms to go out of business to purchase their fleeces for cheap.  She, with the help of several associates and sock puppet accounts, will contact people in the groups of small sellers and offer them fleeces for cheaper and claim they will be of better quality.  She, and her associates and sock puppets, will then report the small farms public media repeatedly until they are taken down, thus preventing the farmer/shepard from being able to sell.  Several small farms have confirmed losses of nearly 60% in sales due to her actions. Some have unfortunately gone out of business due to her actions as well.

Sherry has also focused her scam on small, independent suppliers as well. She will orders goods and services and then, once received, she will refuse to pay for them, or dispute charges with PayPal and her credit card.  She will claim the items were never received, were not what she ordered, or were damaged.  She will then sell them to gain a full, one hundred percent profit on the goods.  If she contacts you to purchase goods, or to do labor on her farm, she will not pay you. Shearers on the east coast will not work with her or shear her sheep any longer because of her actions, and she depended on a young charity shearer to save her sheep from heat stroke this year.

Sherry Tenney is also currently trying to sell lambs on facebook (against facebook rules).  Her animals do not have official papers (she does not control breeding, her ewes and rams are mixed together at all times), she does not know the breed of most of her sheep (lots of random breeds together with unknown breeding has resulted in unknown crossbreeds and a large quantity of inbreeding), and her sheep/lambs do not have the proper veterinary certificates that would be required for transport.

The Pennsylvania Attorney General has filed suit against her, and you can read the paperwork filed here.  If you have filed a complaint with the Pennsylvania Attorney General they will keep you up to date.  If Sherry has stolen from you, please contact the Attorney General, even though they have already filed against Sherry, every victim coming forward helps.  The next court date is February 1st, 2024.

Here is a link to a video on YouTube that goes into detail about the charges filed by the Pennsylvania Attorney General against Sherry Tenney.  The judge has ruled that Sherry’s case is going forward, and has overruled Sherry’s lawyer’s attempt to get the charges thrown out.  Cases take time, but Sherry Tenney is being charged!

Sherry Tenney has once again filed for bankruptcy!  She filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy.  Here is the info:

If Sherry Tenney owes you money, please file immediately!

Sherry Tenney has made multiple claims that would indicate she is abusing and neglecting her animals.  Please do not contact authorities as that would give Sherry Tenney reason to sue someone for harassment.  That is the unfortunate state of laws in the US.  All of her chickens died of neglect last year, she would not bring them in at night and they were eaten by local wildlife, and she has claimed that a fairly large number of her flock has passed away last year and this year as well, over 10%.

Sherry has changed the name of her facebook group to ‘McCullough Farm primitives and country life’ and is claiming that her farm is the historic McCullough farm.  Her farm is not historic, the previous owner was named McCullough and it was owned by them since 2015, before that no McCullough’s owned it or were associated with it.  In fact, Sherry bought the farm in 2021, it is not a generational farm.  Her and her husband move states fairly frequently, they have no generational farm.  She has changed her group name, and has started randomly posting stolen food recipes with stolen photos, in an attempt to confuse people and attract new victims to her group.  Please warn others.  Yes, she frequently uses the word ‘primitive’ for many things.  She is that kind of person.

Sherry was selling in the FB group WAFA via pm, and was called out several times by customers who had received moth ridden fleece that was shorted weight.  After a month the head of WAFA finally stepped in and kicked Sherry and several of her associates from the group.  Unfortunately Brice Wonders of Spinaway Farms is still a member of the group, and he does work with Sherry.  So WAFA is still a group that has a warning about using, as they are incredibly slow to react and only when called out on social media are they willing to take action at this time.  WAFA has also contacted an attorney about the situation, though it is unknown what will be done.  

Sherry has been stealing photos from noteworthy people in the fiber arts community and linking back to them in an attempt to appear that they associate with her.  If you are well known in the fiber arts community please know that she will try to make it appear that you know her and approve of her business.  So please be warned, and please warn others who follow you if you know that Sherry is doing this with your name.

Sherry is currently bragging about luring black bears to her farm to threaten her sheep by urinating, very frequently, on all of the fences that surround her animals.  Human urine will attract black bears, as will animals left in the open all night that a bear would have easy access to.  She enjoys luring them to the farm, and then brags about threatening them and shooting at them with her guns.

It cannot be stressed enough: DO NOT APPROACH THIS WOMAN IN PUBLIC OR AT PUBLIC EVENTS!  She has threatened to shoot and kill people in several posts and rants, and brags about the amount of guns she has.  Within recent days she has bragged about owning a glock, an AK, multiple shotguns, and frequently has them on her person.  A shotgun has been spotted improperly and dangerous stored in the background of her photos.  She is to be considered armed and dangerous at all times.  Do not drive by her farm if you live in her area, do not sign up to attend a class if she holds one in person on her farm.  She is a mentally unhinged and violent woman.  She should not be approached in person at all costs.  No one wants to see anyone hurt because of this.  Especially now that her scam is failing and legal authorities have filed suit.
