Rules: Make over one or more of your favorite sims into a style that is completely different from their own. Choose whatever you want; the only rule is it has to be way out of their normal. Post some pics for us to see and tag them #ts4notlikemyself so we can check them out. Then tag some friends, and don’t forget to have fun!

So I dont have any OC that have a distinct style so I just did my simself because we all know my simself has a v distinct style lmao. The first one is everyday, then formal and party. 

The problem I ran into is, all cc that I would usually use on myself is stuff I would already wear so it was hard finding things that didnt work with my style. I ended up just using patterns/colors that I would never wear. Hence, you dont see ANY black (that physically pains me tbh), and lots of pastels and white.

Sim Swap with @wabadebadooblr

Basically I took Wabby’s beloved Sophie and Florian and made them up in my style. While Sophie’s style is inherently grungy, I wanted to take it to another level. Florian has always had more sophisticated/modern style, so seeing him in alt clothing is mind boggling. I barley recognize him. Nonetheless, they look so badass. Im in LOVE.

Our rules were:

Exchange 2 of your Sims (include sliders/presets when exchanging the sims)

You can style the other’s Sim as you’d like to

You’ve got to keep their bone structure, don’t touch any sliders!

Try to keep skin color, hair color and eye color the same

Media lack female representation, and especially women from all around of world. But we can show, that there’s many different females from every country! So all you need to do is to create or use already existing female sim, that represents your culture in any way! Tag me and use #women of the world challenge tag, so i could see you!

I was born and raised in the US but my parents are from India. I moved there when I was 17. Here in India, muslim non-hijabi are the minority (even more so than Muslims Indians). In both Indian and Western media, muslims are always seen evil or inferior. We lack representation to change peoples minds on who we are. I dont think I’ve ever seen a muslim women (hijabi or not) in the media which definitely sucks or if they are they are portrayed at oppressed. 

This is my simself (bc I dont know how to make sims in my ethnicity lol). Im dressed in traditional shalwar and kameez. Generally Indians are shown wearing Sarees but they arent modest enough (we just make the blouse underneath full sleeves and cover our midrif).

Day 3: Destination Wedding Guest of @abundanceofpixels​ 25 Day Look-book Challenge

As a muslim, I would 1000% wear this. I would have preferred that the skirt lining was all the way (so I wouldn't have to wear the leggings) but none the less, its so cute.

Soo I followed this tutorial by @literalite​ for her eyes. I did an okay job but Im also v proud of myself.

Customarily, the Step-ford Wives are known for wearing more feminine/pastel colors, however for the sake of uniqueness, we need an edgy version of one (although this does go against the whole premise of submission and devotion that the books/movies discuss, its a sim who cares)

“I’M A POP” Challenge with @cherries-jubiles​ and @bakersimmer​

Rules: There was three themes, inspired by CHANMINA song: ROCK, POP and HIP-HOP. We picked our themes, then each one of us made a sim and shared them with each other. We only could change outfits, hairstyles and makeup to fit in our theme.

Here is bakersimmer’s and cherries-jubiles versions. 

I picked the theme of POP and when I tell you that pop music/that aesthetic is not my forte I mean it. This was definitely a difficult challenge. I had to stop myself from using all my alternative cc lol. In the POP section of the music video, the primary color-scheme if white and pastels. The material of the clothing is generally either tulle, mesh or just transparent. I tried to incorporate these elements into their outfits but I might have gone a bit overboard with the pink. What can I say, im a sucker for a mono/dichromatic color-scheme :p

Im hoping by doing this challenge it can showcase that muslim women don’t have to sacrifice fashion for modesty. As a practicing muslim, I used to find it difficult to put together ensembles that made me look and feel good, but over the years I’ve found loopholes that turn most items into modest pieces of clothing.
