"What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. In the same way, your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish."

I've been so busy this summer with my livestock projects that I barely got to sit back and enjoy life.
But I've come to realize that enjoying life isn't just traveling, star gazing, roadtrips, sleeping in. Enjoying life is being grateful for life and enjoying what you do. Sheep bring me so much joy, and I'm so eternally thankful that I'm able to raise them and sell them. I wouldn't have it any other way. So, while I may be busy with my projects, I also get to enjoy life.

Duel-use Sheep Farm 🌈🐑
i never posted this, but it's been done for a bit
my first build commission: a sheep farm in a homestead aesthetic, but with the requirement to "display" the sheep
built this when i was editing the sheep farm video lol
Tumblr media Tumblr media
we've got the normal display sheep above and an auto sheep farm in the basement, playing off of 2 different ways to display the sheep

Sheepishly British: The Proud Tradition of Sheep Farming in England 🐑🇬🇧
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the rolling hills and picturesque countryside of England, a tradition as old as time itself is woven into the fabric of British culture: sheep farming. Known for our love of tea, iconic landmarks, and of course, the Queen, England's sheep farming heritage is another source of national pride.
For centuries, sheep farming has been an integral part of English life. Farmers across the country have dedicated their lives to raising these fluffy creatures, carefully tending to their needs and ensuring their wool is of the highest quality. The sight of countless flocks of sheep dotting the green landscapes is a quintessential image of rural England.
Why is sheep farming considered such a proud and symbolically British occupation? Not only does it reflect our deep connection to the land, but it also represents our enduring resilience and commitment to tradition. Sheep farming has survived the test of time and has been passed down from generation to generation, preserving our heritage and shaping our identity.

In Deep Sheep - Going Hard (1x13)
There's a deep dark in my (somewhat) distant future and I want a lot of wool available. Plus, colored wool is nice to build with. It's time to shove a bunch of sheep into a box and sheer them of all wool and dignity.
Tumblr media
Rather than use the pretty standard sheep farm design, I decided to build my own. I'm feeding the wool into a sorting system so that I can get to everything easily. Plus, this design fits nicely in the space above my creeper farm.
