FINAL SKETCH!!! This is a very rough sketch of a very epic and cool drawing I plan to finish. If anybody has any suggestions I’d love to hear it!, I am struggling with what to shove into the background. Also fuck yeah the golden spiral babey,, putting those 9th grade art class skills into use B))

i haven't fully drawn his full design (lol).

he is supposed to be named after one of kakashi hatake's ninken (ninja dogs) which is akino but i discard it since i have too many oc with japanese names (my ancestors would not be happy abt it)

he is (not so) secretly a gyaruo.

his right eye is half blind.

he is inspired by reno from final fantasy.

speaking abt reno, i originally wanted to give akino a rat tail/longer hair, but since reno have short hair i decided to erase that idea, until i found out reno actually HAVE a rat tail... a few HOURS after i drawn akino.. i cried after that. (i don't play final fantasy btw, and i know nothing abt that game except the fandom rlly loves to ship sephiroth with cloud.)

honestly there's a lot of potential there, i think multiple AUs of the same concept could all explore them as different things! i think them being other stars, still up in the sky watching their brother, is rather cute. and i was talking to my friend once about a potential stardust AU and i ttthhhhhink we settled on the other witchers being the lightning pirates? for the purposes of our specific back and forth

You are absolutely right, the mares just want to check on their tiny sister. Incidentally, I did name BOTH my draft crosses after the same spaceship on the same TV show, so it's Serenity (seal brown) who's pictured in that post. I apologize for any confusion of their names. I mean, they may as well both have the same name ;)

I haven't managed to catch Firefly (grey) checking on Yvaine on camera, but she's doing it too. She's simply not trying to be subtle, so she's walking right up, snuffling the Tiny Buddy, and moving on. I don't have time to get the camera out. (And Yvaine's just like, "Yes, Extremely Large Puppy, do you need something? No? Okay, good child, go play.")

❤ Tomorrow will be two weeks since the eye surgery. Yvaine's eye still looks funky, but the stuff I'm editing out is shinking and fading, and the eye doesn't seem painful or itchy any more. Yvaine still comes and tips her head up for the eyedrops 10x/day, because she is the best of the best. The ophthalmologist says it may look noticeably gnarly for the rest of her life, or it may fade entirely.

!!!!!! thank you so much !! i have been having the absolute BEST time on this blog. Stardust has always been a comfort movie for me and I hold it very dear and near to my heart. Okay, if you know Sonia's character, than this is way too fitting. As a European Monarchy child, she probably looks up to knights as stong and brave warriors, and since she loves anime (from what I understand), she probably would jump at the chance of building a deck based off of one of the most popular ones (Sailor Moon). When asked how she made the connection, she'd say something like "the gems that the jewel knights use remind me of the crystals the sailor soldiers use to transform"

The Jewel Knights, like other Royal Paladin decks focus on calling units from the deck, and powering up allies, but the Jewel Knights also need 3 other rearguards to be on the field to get their effects off.

Okay, I know what you're asking "why is an animal breeder using a deck of demons and misfits" he does have a great nature deck focused around the Hammuske series, but the Amon deck is his real deck, using the demons of Dark Zone to conquer Cray is definitely on Gundham's mind when he built his deck.

As a mechanic, he deals with repairing machines, and he'd get a kick off of using giant robots to beat his opponents down every now and again (he can't beat Gundham no matter how hard he tries btw).
