WIP Wednesday
Tagged by @tallmatcha, thanks!
Have another excerpt of Amaryllia and Samson at Skyhold:
Despite their words, they retraced their steps at a leisurely pace, and even stopped when Amaryllia spotted a red rosebush. Without sparing a thought as to whether it was allowed or not, she unsheathed the small knife hanging from her chatelaine and deftly cut a beautifully blooming rose, long-stemmed and fragrant, sheathing the knife and slowly wrapping the leather guard around the handle with one hand as they continued onwards. Despite his curious look, they maintained a companionable silence until they were well out of earshot of the garden’s denizens.
“For you,” she said, holding the rose out to him once they emerged from the winding staircases onto the walkway overlooking the garden.
“For... me?” he asked.
He stared at her in stunned silence, and when she didn’t retract the offer, he took the rose and ever so hesitantly brought it to his nose and breathed in its scent, then lowered it to reveal a smile so peaceful that it made her smile in turn, albeit much more mischievously.
“It matches your eyes,” she said, and when those eyes widened, she let her own wander down his body and back up again, giggling softly when she saw that his cheeks had reddened as well. “And the rest of you.”
He smiled shyly, then said, “Suppose it does, doesn’t it? Thanks.”

Just watched BBC Merlin S2E4 "Gwen and Lancelot" for the first time and despite the episode title, it's clearly about 2 couples and I'm loving it! Can't get enough of the Merthur interactions and Gwen and Lancelot being mirror characters for Merthur.
I have so many fav Merthur moments in this episode:
- how Arthur and Merlin are clearly so in synch with each other about saving gwen despite Arthur publicly 'agreeing' with Uther that servants aren't worth the risks. Merthur's implicit understanding of each other was contrasted nicely with Morgana assuming Arthur was really gonna abandon Gwen to her death & shouting at him about it. In comparison, Arthur and Merlin were both packing for the rescue mission immediately after they left court, which meant they knew what each other wanted to do, without having to talk about it at length. Love how this implies that Arthur takes Merlin into his confidence when he trusts no one else with his plans, and that Merlin knows who Arthur is.
This reminded me of their conversation in S1E13 (the one with the questing beast) when Merlin says his surreptitious goodbye to Arthur - Arthur: "sometimes i wonder if you know who I am", Merlin: "oh I know who you are".
Yes he does! Our boys are not only in love but also understand each other implicitly without words! I'm so happy!
- This implicit understanding & attunement with each other is seen again when Merlin takes 1 look at Arthur and says "oh no, I know that face, I'm not gonna like this am I?" when Arthur suggests they go through the tunnels infested with the giant mole-rats. Arthur then very sweetly tempers his description from "giant" to "baby rats" when he sees Merlin's adorably worried face. Merlin was seriously adorable in that moment and Arthur's desire & instinct to assure Merlin and reduce his worry was equally adorable! Loving this sweet tender side of Arthur!
- Arthur smearing the berries on Merlin's face was of course classic Arthur showing romantic interest in a pigtail-pulling way but also ensuring Merlin is sufficiently covered while sneaking in some physical contact under the guise of horseplay.
- when Merlin intuits Arthur really cares about Gwen after Arthur admitted he couldn't sleep, Merlin says "I've never seen you like this about anyone". Technically, Merlin really hasn't seen Arthur like this, but that's coz Merlin was dying from Nimueh's poisoned chalice at the time. We the audience however have seen Arthur like this, in magnitudes more pronounced than this as a matter of fact, and it was to save Merlin. Wish someone would tell Merlin! Arthur not only went off on that perilous journey to save Merlin alone and without hesitation, he did so knowing he would most likely die. He also directly opposed his father for Merlin, and otherwise risked everything he has ever known for Merlin, a servant who is not just a servant. So yeah, Gwen is a mirror for Merlin in this case, which means Merthur is romantically coded :)
- Arthur opening up to Merlin about his feelings in an UNPRECEDENTED way in the 'confession' scene at the stream after they've escaped the mole-rat tunnels and are washing off the stinky berries. I don't think we've ever seen Arthur as vulnerable and honest with anyone else in his life as he is with Merlin here! The 'confession' is otensibly about Gwen, but the subtly ambiguous way Bradley James played this scene was brilliant! Not to mention the way they've setup the scene also lends itself to the ambiguity.
The scene starts when Merlin finds out that Arthur didnt know whether the berries would actually work, and Arthur was obviously very charmed by Merlin's unadulterated reaction, and even apologizes in a very fond & sincere way to Merlin. If this is not a man in love in with Merlin, I don't know what is.
This scene is also set immediately after a scene where Gwen (Arthur's mirror in this case) tells Lancelot (Merlin's mirror) that she didn't know she could feel this way about somebody, to which Lancelot replies that she has given him a reason to live, much like Arthur didn't know he could feel the way he does about Merlin, a lowly servant boy who seems like a wimp but who he admires and wants to be admired by, is magnetically attracted to, cares about deeply and I'd say is in love with. And similar to Lancelot with Gwen, Merlin found his reason to live in Arthur.
Then Merlin says "well they do say love makes you do strange things" immediately after Arthur apologizes to him fondly, and Arthur's moment of hidden panic ("what are you talking about") resolved into disbelief-tinged-with-relief when Merlin clarified he was talking about gwen and not arthur's uncharacteristic and fond apology to Merlin.
Then we get the truth being pulled out of Arthur -- and this is Merthur subtext and double speak at its best:
Merlin, teasingly: "It's so obvious, a blind man can see it! Is it really that hard to admit that you like her? Just say it!",
as though Merlin's not just asking Arthur about gwen, he's also asking Arthur on the audience's behalf to admit he likes Merlin, which Merlin and audiences like me would love to hear because the Merthur chemistry really is so obvious.
(Interestingly, "it's so obvious a blind man can see it" mirrors what Bradley james said in an interview when asked to choose between romance with Gwen and bromance with Merlin. Bradley chose bromance with Merlin without hesitation, saying bromance with Merlin is "there for everybody to see". It's nice to see the actor supporting the ship when most actors would have just toed the PC line and remained non-committal!)
Arthur, the truth bursting out of him while looking Merlin straight in the eye: "I can't! How can I admit that I think about her all the time, or that I care about her more than anyone? "
Reaction shot of Merlin, smile falling off his face, as though he's realising that this is how he feels about Arthur, and that if this is how Arthur feels about Gwen, it really is serious.
(Meanwhile, we the audience are squeeling because we certainly noticed Arthur cares about Merlin more than anyone else way back in season 1, to the point of wanting to drink from the poisoned chalice for Merlin, and outright defying Uther for Merlin).
Arthur, looking Merlin straight in the eyes at crucial points, while looking away at others as though he still has something to hide from Merlin: "How can I admit that I don't know what I'll do if any harm comes to her?"
(Again, audience is reminded of how Arthur was beside himself in the poisoned chalice episode when harm was about to befall Merlin.)
Merlin, no trace of teasing left in his tone: "Why can't you?", as though he's asking Arthur not just about gwen, but also asking about himself on behalf of the audience, because he and the audience needs to understand why Arthur swings between willing-to-die-for-Merlin-in-action and insulting-Merlin-horribly-in-words.
Arthur, suddenly using the immediate term 'us' instead of the 3rd person 'her': "Because nothing can ever happen between us! To admit my feelings knowing that... hurts too much".
Merlin: "Who's to say nothing can happen?".
Arthur, again not using 'her': "My father won't even let me rescue a servant, do you honestly believe he'll let me marry one?".
I think the Merthur subtext and double speak was clearly signalled by the ambiguous dialogue where Arthur switches to 'us', 'servant' and 'marry one' instead of 'her' at these crucial points.
I think it's 100% legitimate to interpret the scene and whole episode as romantically coded Merthur, even when i'm approaching this just from a film analysis angle.
Merlin then says, surprised: "you want to marry gwen?"
To which Arthur genuinely clarifies: "No! No, i, i don't know."
After a pause, Arthur: "it's all talk, and that's all it can ever be."
I like to think this part of the dialoque is perhaps the writers testing the waters to see how far they can push Merthur from subtext into text, or signalling they are on the fence about Merthur vs Argwen, or even the writers subtly acknowledging merthur but saying it's all talk and that's all it can ever be, but that's just pure speculation on my part. Speculating's fun as long as no one takes it too seriously or get their hopes up ;)
Leaving out speculation about the writer's intentions, the dialogue then retreats from the 4th wall with Merlin saying "when you're king, you can change that", to which arthur says he can't ask gwen to wait that long for him, and then the absolute kicker of this whole dialogue drops like a foreshadowing bombshell with Merlin's reply "if she feels as you do, she'll wait for you".
First of all, Arthur very practically points out "we don't even know if she's still alive" like he's just pointing out an unemotional fact, one that isn't going to devastate him either way, which tells us that while Arthur cares about Gwen and likes her, he's not beside himself with worry or devastation at the thought of her possibly being dead.
Secondly, we find out in this episode itself that Gwen does not in fact feel strongly enough about Arthur to wait for him either, she's in love with Lancelot.
Thirdly and most importantly, we know the series ends with Merlin waiting for Arthur for 1500 years and counting, and isn't that the kicker?? The dialogue "if she feels as you do, she'll wait for you" foreshadows Merlin waiting for Arthur, because he feels as Arthur does! Romantically coded again!  Maybe the writers really did plan out the whole series outline with the end in mind, like they claimed. In any case, this dialogue is a great piece of foreshadowing that works on 3 different levels, while also validating in a very subtle way Arthur and Merlin's feelings for each other is reciprocated and requited, and strong enough to withstand 1500 years of waiting.
One of my favourite Merthur episodes!
- there are of course other moments in this episode where Lancelot as Arthur's mirror asks Gwen (Merlin's mirror) to live on for him or "everything that I am will be for nothing", which foreshadows what Merlin had to do after Arthur's death. Lancelot is also a mirror for Merlin here because everything that Merlin lived for came to nothing when Arthur died.
In this scene, the same music that played when Arthur kissed Gwen for the first time in S2E2 plays again, but the crucial difference here is Gwen is the one who kisses Lancelot, as compared to her just receiving Arthur's kiss. This again tells us her feelings for Lancelot is a lot stronger than her feelings for Arthur.
Gwen as Merlin's mirror also says to Lancelot "as long as I live, my feelings for you will never fade", which foreshadows what poor Merlin feels for Arthur, and since Merlin is immortal, it means his love for Arthur will never fade FOREVER, even after arthur's death (ah gawd my heart breaks for merlin).
- when Lancelot finds out that Gwen did not escape successfully afterall, the evil kidnapper says Lancelot's failure to protect gwen will hurt Lancelot more than he can understand, and man, Lancelot's pain again foreshadows what Merlin will feel when he 'fails' to save Arthur.
- after they've all successfully escaped, Lancelot as Merlin's mirror says "My feelings do not matter. I will not come between them", and you could see in Merlin's face that he's coming to the same decision about his own feelings, that he will not come between Arthur and Gwen, and man I wanna tell my poor sweet self-sacrificing Merlin that oftentimes, you do good in this world simply by pursuing your own happiness and well-being.
Lancelot then says "she has changed me forever, but some things cannot be", just like Arthur has changed Merlin forever and vice versus, but we know their love story cannot be either, at least not in Camelot's time.
And thus ends my meta ramblings for a great episode!!
Loved it!!

Making a Rock Garden
I had no idea how much fun it could be to have christians come to my door on a Saturday morning until i became an atheist!
A young woman came to the door with her family in tow (very cute kids btw. I think it was hubby's job to watch the kidlets, so i didn't get to talk to him much.
We had a very pleasant conversation. She asked me how i came to be an atheist. Now, if you're a theist, i don't recommend that question. It's an invitation for that atheist to preach, and you definitely don't want that. Not if you like your faith. But, i was sweet, don't worry! Here's the condensed version: Christian for 38 years, learned stuff, doubts, logic problems, learned more stuff, atheist.
Then she asked, "So you don't believe in the Bible?" It was so damn cute. I don't think she'd ever spoken with an atheist before. I kindly let her know that the Bible is a collection of books written by men, translated by men, interpreted by man. I further pointed out that based on the fact that no religion agrees with another, there is no reason to assume that any of the texts they choose for the remaining 66 (72 for you catholics out there!) books of the bible are the inspired word of god, assuming he exists at all.
She sweetly took this criticism and didn't take the bait. It was probably too big a topic to tackle. I think she got the idea that'd I'd done some thinking about that already. She's an excellent tactician! She knew I wanted to go down that road. Honestly, by this time, i think she had figured out she wasn't going to get me, so she switched tactics and went right for the Hail Mary. The infamous christian mental terror attack!
"Jonathan, you have insurance on your car right? Don't you think you should have a heavenly insurance policy for your soul?"
Guys... The abject pain of holding in my mirth almost killed me. Also, ANGER. I mean, this seems awfully similar to extortion right? "Hey, you don't want all this to burn up right? Our little organization can help you wit' dat. Just 10% of your income my man."
Well, i don't pay rent, punk.
But, reason prevailed. I thanked her very sweetly for caring about my soul. Then i told her that her premise was flawed because you can't really analogize anything to God, because there's nothing like him right?
When all i got was a confused look, i told her that i KNOW i need insurance for the car i KNOW exists because i have EVIDENCE that driving can result in accidents that i cannot afford to pay for. Therefore i have car insurance. I haven't seen anything indicating that i need to waste my time and money on an insurance policy that will keep your God from torturing me for eternity for my finite crimes.
I told her she was referring to Pascal's wager which essentially says that it's safer to just believe, in case hell is real. Which is impossible for me because i CANNOT believe without evidence. I'm interested in truth, not fantasy. I also mentioned that if god were to exist, I'm sure he would know i wasn't fond of him. Which wouldn't be very safe for me, would it?
That was the death knell of hope for my soul in her mind I'm sure. She didn't really know what to say, so she sweetly wished me a good day, and left with the kiddos while i wished them better luck.
Although that visit didn't go the way she had hoped, most good christians assuage the worry of that failure by reminding themselves that they planted the seeds of faith in my mind. Problem is that my brain is much too complicated and logical for faith to survive there. I have Many Questions.
But the Christian plays a dangerous game when trying to sow the seeds of faith in the stony minds of atheists recovering from religious trauma. I think that a strange sort of psychological Locarde's exchange principal1 happens during productive discourse. It's a sharing of ideas, isn't it? So i get to plant things in her garden too. My beautiful rocks...
Rock 1: A 38 year Christian fell from the Faith, but seems happy. Says he feels free...
Rock 2.: everything that guy said was with authority and i couldn't challenge him (that's important to theists)
Rock 3-6 : He pointed out logical problems i don't know the answer to.
Rock 7: This man is clearly educated. He seemed to suggest that learning led him away from the faith. Why is that the educated people are often atheists?
Rock 8 - 12: He pointed out several times that God adds no explanatory or predictive power for understanding the world around us. God is not necessary to explain anything. I couldn't refute it.
Its just a few pebbles of course. But pretty good sized ones!
One day i hope she'll see them, and see how real they are. How beautiful they are. I hope she gets more of them. I Hope she gets some training and comes back for round two so i can sow some more rocks. I hope they slowly choke the weeds of faith that have taken over her mind and finally set her free from the ugly overgrowth of religion. Hopefully, she'll end up with a beautiful rock garden too!
1. Locarde's exchange principal is usually applied to forensic science, so it's not a perfect analogy I'm afraid. But the idea is that; everything that makes contact with another thing leaves evidence of that contact on each thing. So, i touch a surface, which i leave a fingerprint on, and my finger gets dust on it from the surface.

Hiya! What would Michael do if the omega!female!Lecter family member ended up seeing him shirtless and was super shy about it (cause I bet you, he is ripped and of course she is an adult since she is older than Peter and younger than Kevin)?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Have you seen Michael ?
He’s the perfect combination of brain and brawn.
THE MAN IS RIPPED ! He could easily carry you around all day.
And have you seen his hair ? Flawless.
People usually swoon when they meet him without the mask (until he tells them that he is Michael Myers 😅)
People tend to stay away from him or even run away when he tells them, which means that he was extremely surprised to see you stick around, even after he told you.
People take more or less time to figure it out: the most obvious hint being the mask and his categorical refusal to talk.
When you would blush after he..let's say..got out of the shower ? He would either smile knowingly or even cheekily wink at you.
He would then sit down next to you purposefully, knowing you would flush even more by him being so near to you.
Michael *takes a piece of paper and a pen* : "Hey there. Any reason you would be in my room at this hour ?"
You would then sputter some random reason and he would smile even wider at your obvious nervousness.
Michael *writes down* : "Don't worry, sunshine..I ain't gonna do anything..Well, unless you want me to ?"
He would then either wrap his arm around you or kiss you sweetly.
However, be careful..because father dearest is never far.
Tumblr media
Hannibal Sr *enters and sees the scene* : "Michael..Could you please refrain from touching my daughter ?"
Michael would lean back and only smile daringly at Hannibal Sr.
"I don't think I will.."
You and Hannibal Sr. would both be surprised to hear Michael's voice, as he had never talked in either of your presence before.
Hannibal Sr. *smiles coldly* : "Not so mute anymore, are we ?"
Michael *smiles back* : "Nah. See ? Michael Myers only gets out when I like somebody. And, even though I am very fond of your daughter..I don't think you and I will ever get along. So, why not use my voice to tell you things as they are ? I like her and I intend to make her my omega."
Tumblr media
Hannibal Sr. would see red at this information and you can be sure that they would both try to keep you away from each other afterwards.
I don't think Michael and Hannibal Sr. would get along, as they would both be very protective of you and Hannibal Sr. wouldn't want to lose a member of his family to another alpha, which would even make them enemies.
The admission would send you to hell and heaven at the same time..
You would be stuck between the feelings of loyalty for your adoptive father and the potential feelings towards Michael.
An omega can only have one alpha and they would both fight to keep you to themselves.
It would even end up with a feud between both families: the Hannibals and the slashers.
Hannibal Jr. *traps Norman in a well* : "My deepest apologies for the inconvenience, M. Bates. I hold the deepest respect for you, but we aren't willing to let go of Y/N. I need to do this, but I do love your work."
Tumblr media
Norman *smiles* : "No hard feelings. I assure you."
Tumblr media
Freddy *being shot by an arrow in the stomach* : "WHAT THE...?! I WAS HAVING BREAKFAST, YOU LITTLE SH*T !"
Tumblr media
Kevin : "Oops..My bad."
Tumblr media
Peter *has a knife in hand* : "Hum..Hey Jason..Don't worry. I'm not gonna hurt you but..Could you maybe play dead for me ? My family is pretty p*ssed about you trying to get Y/N and asked me to do this."
Tumblr media
Jason *confused but still wants to help his friend* : "Hum..Okay ? *pretends to be dead* Oh no...I'm dead." *leans down on the ground*
Tumblr media
So...Who would you choose ? Genuine question.
What would you be willing to give up ?
Hannibal Sr. and your family ?
Or Michael and whatever you're feeling for him in the process ?

He's certainly not fond of it, he sometimes doesn't even feel worthy of all the gifts and the affection you've given him on sudden surprise, you can even say he's shy about it— at first, he'd be highly flustered towards it. His cheeks evolving into a rosiness shade of red.
He’ll eventually begin to search— well, seek out for your attention and affection, and even give it back tenfold . Always surprising you with hugs, and kisses on the cheek.
If you weren't in any way surprised or taken back by the sudden affection, he suspected you just didn’t show it— He'll even try newer things, hands gently craving your face to prevent you from pulling back but being gentle with you and shy nonetheless. Kissing you sweetly and happily. Mika thought it was extremely cute to see you being shocked at the spur of the moment, albeit rude of his newfound confidence, any phrases he was rambling about when you surprised him this way before instantly were lost to sight.
And so he also begins buying you gifts, I mean! It would only be fair right? You spoil him so much he feels guilty...! (╥﹏╥)
Buying you little things like: matching rings, flowers, and anything else he can get his hands on! He likes buying things that reminds him of you mostly— because sometimes.. he keeps it for himself to be reminded of you, you don't mind, right? Don’t worry, he'll make it up to you with even more than originally planned!
So when I tell you, this man's emotions overflow like rivers? I MEAN IT. He’ll literally cry, happily, when you give him affection sometimes, it's just he truly appreciates the love you give him.. he loves you so much he can't even form it into proper words and sentences! So it can sometimes come out as distorted declarations of his love for you.
“Its just— ’m so in lov’ with you.. I—I can't explain it! I love you, I love you, I love you so much...! ’m so appreciative of you...”
When he's alone with you, he feels he can let invulnerability to the side and show his vulnerable side— you're the one person who can see that side of him! Mostly because he's afraid of what his oshi-san would think of him if he saw him openly being weak.
As Arashi being one that he's very close with, she knows all about you. And so does Shu really— he has no problem rambling to the two of them how amazing you are, the butterflies he gets when he's with you! How lucky he is to have found such a lovely soulmate to be with.
He really wants to return the love you give him! So please let him continue trying new things on you? , (。•̀ᴗ-)✧

Wedding Gifts (Mr. Sinclaire x MC) [Modern AU]
A/N: This fic is related with The Detective and The Buissnessman world that couldn't be on the main plot.
Pairing: Ernest Sinclaire x Hayley Parker (MC)
World: Desire and Decorum Modern AU
Rating: PG–13
Word Count: 1262
Tumblr media
As Ernest Sinclaire opened his eyes,he realised two things: the most beautiful woman he has ever seen was sleeping naked beside him and he wasn't in London.
He looked around the room, all white and luxurious and their stuff in there: even some knives of Hayley were there.
Hayley... He did married Hayley Parker, huh?
And it's been only one month and he still cannot believe it: he married a woman who when he met, seemed so out of his league. But there she was: with his family ring on her finger, naked,in the same bed and in the same room and a forever life together.
He knew what came next. And no,it was definitely not a child, but opening the wedding presents, even the ones his wife made him. And the one he made her.
“Penny for your thoughts?”A familiar feminine voice appeared on his ear,her arms around him, feeling her nakedness against his and her warmth.
“Just thinking about how we will open all these presents in a day”He said thoughtfully.
She got up and he gazed down her body: she was full of scars, recent and that had been there for a long time, but she was still breathtaking. Her muscled frame was unusual and her glowing skin made his heart flutter.
She reached her bra and her panties and a shirt of his and got comfortably dressed.
Ernest had to admit,he liked the view of her in his clothes: it was intimate and meant trust and complicity, and he smiled at the view.
“Like what you see,Sinclaire?”She said with her seductive morning voice.
He took her hand in his and got her close to him and kissed her hand.
“Most certainly: blue suits you. And well, all the colours”
She smirked at him “Tell me something I don't know”
“Maybe that last night was spectacular? But I am still exhausted, you kept me awake more hours than I anticipated. I don't have the same stamina that when I was in college,Mrs Sinclaire”He said, remembering how close in all sensations he felt with his wife.
He would never get tired of saying that Hayley Parker was his wife.
“I have something for you”She said as she fished her bag.
He observed as the chilly air of Athens hitted his chest and observed her petite but strong figure fishing an album.
“I do have also something for you”He said as he searched on his stuff and found the ancient time and he looked at his wife's eyes.
She didn't need to say that at the count of three, they'd give each other the presents: he knew her too well and so did she.
He took the album as she took the tome and he watched her confused look.
“What... What is this?”She said. “Is it a... Journal?”She looked at him even more confused.
“It's my childhood journal. I recovered it from my holiday house on Liverpool since you told me that you never had a normal infancy at all and I thought that you could at least live it through my eyes when I was younger.”He explained. He suddenly redden of pure embarrassment Please don't laugh at some entries. I was just 8 when I started writing it and 16 when I stopped”
She chuckled as she looked through the first page
12th August,December 1998
Dear Diary:
Today at school I have learned lots of things, like for example,Mr Honey cannot feel nor speak! It's all in my mind. Isn't science something beautiful and yet so complex? Mrs Benji is a great teacher in my opinion and what she haves to say on her subject is always so catchy, like a Michael Jackson song. It gets inside your head easily!
After school I went with granny to learn about plants and the nature lifestyle. The goats were friendly, but the cows were so rude!
But for now,I must retire to do my homework.
E.Sinclaire
Hayley chuckled at the entry and looked at him,a fond and unusual smile on her face as she cupped a hand on his face, tenderness on her face.
“Thank you,Ernest. This ... Is what I needed after we lost our child”She said, playing with the corners of the grey, rotted sweater of Ernest. He kissed her cheek.
“I know I cannot give your childhood back, but I can help you feel how it felt to be carefree, innocent and clueless about the cruelty of this world”
She looked at him and said “Well? Won't you open mine?”
He chuckled as he opened the book... And felt his cheeks and ears turn red!
In there, there was photos of Hayley, his Hayley,in sexy lingerie or covering forbidden parts of her body with her legs and arms, hinting at him what he knew there was under those poses.
He had seen her naked a lot of times indeed, but seeing her on such expensive clothing and in photos was a whole different experience.
He could feel her smirk,he knew her too well.
One of them was about Hayley on a red sofa, her hair wavy and black lingerie, her feet meeting the top of the sofa and her legs closed sensually, giving a great view of the curve of her breasts and her head dip low,a little makeup and her lips red.
He felt hot, very hot under the collar, all his body heating up and his heart beating fast.
“I,um,you look–– I mean,I do like it––”What he could say to something so... Seductive and... Intimate?
He never had photos of his lovers naked, anywhere,he prefered to see them in full glory with his own eyes and with this gift he was totally off guard.
It meant a lot for them both: Hayley trusted him enough to give him such intimate and private photos, she was willing to take a risk with something like this.
He looked at her finally,a loss of words,as she leaned close and kissed him slowly and sensually.
“So,you like it?”She asked.
“Hayley,my love, are you sure this is your idea and approve that I keep these photos with me? No one pressured you?”It was a surprising gift, but he knew social pressure too well. “Did the photographer treated you well at least? You were OK with all his conditions and––”
Hayley put her finger on his mouth and looked at him with her honest look.
“Yes,Ernest. All of this was my decision and the photographer was a good man. Everything was because I wanted it and I liked it. Relax,OK?”She embraced him tightly.
He sighed “Can I not worry about my wife?”He said, his hands on her back, looking at her lovingly.
She smiled at him,in such an intimate way that he melted.
He kissed her tenderly, slowly, sweetly, showing her how much he admired and loved her.
Hayley wasn't a soft girl, but he always felt the luckiest man alive knowing that she only showed affection to him.
He suck into her familiar fragance of mint and velvet, her soft hair like a puppy's hair and her lips lifting him to something higher than heaven.
“I love you,Ernest. Never forget that”She said as she kissed him again, melting in this unusual moment of them being just fluffy spouses.

Jeongin ☆ 》 Dentist Truths
Tumblr media
Pairing: Jeongin x Reader
Genre: Fluff, Non-Idol AU
You had always been fond with your childhood friend, Jeongin.
Apart from his bright and savage personality, he has the cutest smile with braces.
It made him more youthful than how he already was and a lot of girls in your school fawned over him for that.
You were no exception. You spent most of your life with him so you knew Jeongin more than anyone else. He screamed perfect boyfriend but of course, you would never tell him.
See, it has been quite some time since he last got his braces on that it was almost time to remove them.
You were happy for him since you saw how braces had been a bit difficult and painful for him.
However, you had a toothy dilemma as well.
See, you need one of your tooth extracted due to a basketball accident done during your physical education class.
You resented that subject so much.
Apart from the purplish bruise on your cheek, what bothered you most was the pain from your chipped tooth.
You and Jeongin had the same dentist so you thought that maybe it would be a good idea to go together for an appointment.
Jeongin volunteered to be first. What a gentleman he was, with all the sarcasm intended.
He just wanted to get rid of his braces.
You were a little nervous. Not for the pain of the extraction but the after pain when the anesthesia wears off.
It has been an hour and Jeongin left the room with the toothiest smile followed by continuous thank yous to the dentist. You just watched him and how adorable he was being.
He ran towards you and leaned in close with a wide grin on his face. "I don't have them anymore, y/n!" He sang.
Your breath hitched at the proximity. He was too close to you and you could feel the blood rush to your cheeks.
He did not seem to notice since he pulled back when the dentist called for you.
You were put in some strange kind of anesthesia...well...not strange. You just need multiple shots of it since it was not taking effect on you easily.
Let's just say that your head was starting to spin and you could not grasp things well. Even when the extraction was done, you felt too dizzy to comprehend anything. The dentist had to call for Jeongin to assist you up the chair.
"Is she alright...?" He asked, both worried and amused by your state.
"She will be. The effect might last for like a few hours but she'll be better soon." She handed him your prescription for painkillers and antibiotics and Jeongin did not even complain about being tasked to buy it.
He was genuinely worried for the girl he liked so much but was too fixated on whatever was given to her to even tease her right now.
"Jeongiiiiiin~" you clung to his arm and frowned. "Jeongiiiiiiiiiiin."
"What?" He asked back, not wanting to come off like he was annoyed, but he was kind of getting there.
"Nothiiiing." You grinned cheekily with the cottom you were told to bite onto.
"Alright.." he mumbled to himself as he lined up in the pharmacy to get your medicine.
You kept on nuzzling your cheek against your arm and you came off like a clingy cat attached to its owner who was not so thrilled about it.
Or was he.
Anyway, the pharmacist smiled softly at both of you.
"Your girlfriend just got from the dentist?" She asked sweetly as she scanned the prescription and looked around for the medicine.
He froze at the mention of girlfriend but assuming you would not remember any of these, he gave a soft smile. "My girlfriend had a lot of anesthesia shot in her but she still loves me at least." He chuckled.
"I love you, Jeonginnieeee." You sang as you clinged tighter to him and he felt his heart beat a little too hard.
"You...do?" He asked, despite knowing you were under medication.
"I do~~" you continued in your sing-song voice. Jeongin just gave you an unreadable smile.
"I love you too."
As you two got back home, Jeongin had to explain to your mother what happened and how he could not get you to get off him.
"Maybe you should stay for dinner, Jeongin." Your mother smiled kindly at him and he nodded.
And he did.
But he also stayed over since you wouldn't let go when he said he had to go home.
Now you two were in your room with you still clinging onto him like a tiny koala.
He heaved a sigh and looked at you while you had your cheeks pressed to his arms and eyes glued to the show you suggested for both of you to watch.
Alvin and the Chipmunks.
You were laughing at everything but Jeongin still was flashing you saying you loved him all over again and him saying it back.
He was happy but also disappointed.
Would you even remember this tomorrow?
He glanced at you and frowned. This was not how he intended to confess to you. Truth is, his older friends who went by the name Stray Kids, were all helping him plan that perfect confession.
Him getting his braces removed? Probably a part of that too.
But what now? It feels different since he actuqlly told you how he felt.
Maybe he should just go with it.
You might forget but he'll make you remember. He was determined to.
So when you woke up the next day with your face inhaling a lemony scent, you felt your heart beat fast when you came into view of Jeongin's chest. How did you know? You could still recall what he wore yesterday.
You were about to push him away when you felt his arm tighten around your waist and you almost shrieked at him.
"L-let go, Jeongin."
He opened his eyes and stared at you, squinting rather since he had just woke up. "..No."
"W-what do you m-mean no?" It was harder for you to stop stuttering with the skinship.
"You told me you love me yesterday so no, I won't let go."
Your cheeks went red at the moment he had said that and you were left speechless. Why couldn't you remember? You knew what he said was true...but you couldn't recall confessing your love like that. Were you that high on the anesthesia?
"I..." you wanted to tell him that it was true but would that ruin your friendship?
"I confessed back...just in case you don't remember." He explained as he tightened his embrace around you. A very comforting warmth eminated from him. It was like hugging the sun..without instantly burning.
You finally hugged him back and you two just stayed that way until he decided to speak again.
"I wish you knew how much you clinged to me yesterday." He teased.
"Oh shut up."

I know you're probably supper loaded with prompts and stuff, but would you mind ( whenever you have time) writing a natsume prompt about natsume and that one girl who defended him about the broken glass (the one who noticed he needed a haircut) at his old school. Sorry I don't remember the episode!
adachi is an oc from this prompt fill. turns out i’ve adopted him gsflflkhjf. he’s barely in this but i felt the need for that disclaimer regardless
x
A bewildered Toyomatsu takes the pencilfrom Yuriko’s imperiously outstretched hand, and leans over the tableto scribble directions on an empty page in her notebook. Hisround-framed glasses slip an inch down his nose as he does, bangsfalling forward and flicking neat parentheses into his eyes. Junkogiggles good-naturedly at the sight.
“That’s the route the cycling clubtook,” Toyomatsu says, adjusting his glasses. Yuriko turns thenotebook towards herself, scanning the page eagerly. “It’s a ruraltown, and really small. Easy to miss, but it looked nice.”
“Like a well-kept secret,” Junkosays, leaning forward on her elbows. Her smile is crooked and cuteand makes Yuriko smile in turn, every time, without fail. “You’lltell Natsume I said hi, won’t you?”
“Of course I will,” Yuriko saysfondly, and folds the notebook closed with unending care. “We havethe day off tomorrow, so I’ll go then. Thank you, Toyomatsu, thismeans a lot to me.”
Natsume lingers, like the perfume of aperson who left the room minutes before Yuriko arrived. He occupies hermind in small ways—she thinks of him when she climbs the steps toher favorite shrine, when she opens an umbrella against heavyrainfall, when an impatient parent raises their voice at a somberchild in a convenience store—and he’s dear to her, for all that shedidn’t know him for very long, and didn’t know him very well.
Now it feels as though someone’s pried openher ribcage and stuffed it full of sunlight. She’s going to see himagain.
“I really didn’t need an escort,Toyomatsu,” Yuriko says dryly, standing when the bus bounces to astop outside a weathered depot, and picking up her own bag before hehas the chance to be an awkward gentleman. “If I did, Iwould have brought Junko along.”
“Youdon’t know your way around this town,” he argues staunchly, for thefifth time in as many minutes. “I mean, I don’t either, but—whatif something happened to you because I gave you these directions andyou went off on your own? You know?”
Andreally, he cancelled plans with friends to come with her, so sherelents with a smile and gives his sleeve a tug, leading the way downthe narrow aisle.
“Lookslike it’s a bit of a walk,” Yuriko says, shading her eyes. “Butthe air is so nice here!”
“Nocity smog,” Toyomatsu points out as he joins her. “Comparatively, mountain air smells downright sweet.”
Thebus pulls away with the throaty grumble of an ancient engine, andYuriko adjusts her bag, does her best to quell the excited surge ofsunlight in her heart, and starts walking.
Fromthe looks of things, students have the day off in this town, as well.Yuriko approaches a group of girls about her age and asks if theyknow anyone by the name of Natsume. She isn’t sure what she’sexpecting, but she still feels a thrill of surprise when the girls’faces light up, and they clamor around her with a much friendlierair.
“Wego to the same school, but he’s in a different class, so I don’t havehis number or anything,” says one of the girls with a rueful smile. She brightens after a moment and adds, “Oh, but he’s really goodfriends with Taki Tooru—I could tell you where her house is, ifyou’d like.”
He’swell-liked here, Yuriko realizes. He’s popular here.
Beaming, she thanks the girls gratefully for their help, and all but dragsToyomatsu down the street.
“This is beginning to feel like awild goose chase,” Toyomatsu says dryly, half an hour later. Yurikoshushes him, still every bit as determined as when she started.
“The woman at the Taki residence toldus she went down to the river with her friends,” she says stoutly.“That’s straight down this road, right? So we’re nearly there.”
There are fields of lotuses blooming inwhat feels like every direction. The scent of purple is rich andthick in the breeze. The afternoon sun hangs high in the sky, andYuriko has to shade her eyes against the brightness of it.
Cheerful voices catch her attentionalmost immediately, and she quickens her pace with her heart in herthroat, stepping off the dirt road and into the springy summer grassat the top of a sloping incline at the riverside.
There are a handful of teenagersrunning amok down below, pant legs rolled up to their knees,T-shirts sopping wet and hanging baglike off their shoulders. Thegirl among them has her skirt knotted to one side and her hair pulledup in a messy bun and a fat cat in her arms. She laughs brightly whentwo of the boys knock each other sideways into the deeper waters.
“You’ve probably scared all the fishaway for miles,” she scoldsthem, in a tone too amused to be truly scolding. “What’s poorTouko-san going to say when we go back empty handed?”
“Oh,don’t worry about that. Touko-san knew exactlywhat to expect when Nishimura and Kitamoto promised to catch ourlunch.”
Thehumorous voice draws Yuriko’s eyes to the pale boy lounging quietlyin the shade with a taller, black-haired companion. His dusty blondhair is damp, but even then, it doesn’t quite hang into his eyesanymore. He’s looking away from her, but Yuriko would know himanywhere.
“Natsume!” she calls out, her smileblinding.
He turns, and lifts honeyed amber eyesto meet her, and it feels as though the day they said goodbye wassimply yesterday.
She’s met with thinly veiled hostilityat first, but only right at first. When Natsume softens and smilessweetly and introduces her as, “Agood friend of mine, from a place I used to live,” his friends thawlike spring, and meet her and Toyomatsu both warmly.
“Another long-lostfriend?” a boy introduced as Shibata says, pressing a hand to hischest in mock-hurt. The ruined shirt he’s wearing looks expensive.“Natsume, I thought what we had was special. How many more of us do you have tucked away somewhere?”
“Notmany,” Natsume says dryly, nudging his shoulder. “Don’t youworry.”
“It’sso nice to meet you,” Taki says, tucking her arm into Yuriko’s andbeaming at her, every bit as though she wasn’t ready to fight her amoment ago. Her sleeve soaks Yuriko’s within seconds. “You can tellus all about when Natsume was a cute middle school student.”
“Okay, but first, let’s relocate,” Nishimura decides for everyone, sloshing out of the river and hunting for his shoes. “Natsume,we’re gonna all need to borrow some clothes, okay?”
“Wait,what?”
“Oh,come on, you have plenty. The Fujiwaras take you shopping every otherweekend.”
Kitamotoropes Adachi into helping untangle the fishing lines, and Taki staresShibata down with a chilling smile the second he opens his moutharound a flirt in Yuriko’s direction. Nishimura and Tanuma are bothchatting with Toyomatsu, including him warmly and without mucheffort, as though they’re practiced at being kind.
Yurikolikes this wild group Natsume’s fallen in with. She’s happy he cameto this place.
Hecatches her eye on the walk home. There are four people sandwiched between them, and everyone is talking and laughing at the top of their lungs, butNatsume’s smile is soft and all for her, and Yuriko meets it rightaway with one of her own.
Thealready big party is two bigger when they arrive at a large familyhouse, and Yuriko smiles bashfully as she steps inside with everyoneelse. She knows what her motherwould say, exasperated at the sight of two more mouths to feed, andbraces herself when a woman in a worn smock comes into the entrancehall.
Herexpression shifts into one of surprise at the sight that greets herin the genkan. Natsume steps forward to meet her. Yuriko can’t seehis face.
Sheknows this must be the kind woman Toyomatsu told her about, but allYuriko can think of is the person Natsume lived with back when sheknew him—the person who came to their school midday smelling likealcohol, who Natsume couldn’t even ask for money for a haircut, whogot rid of him the second he was too much trouble.
Herheart is in her throat. Natsume says, “Sorry, Touko-san. We pickedup two more.”
Thewoman presses a hand to her mouth and laughs warmly. Natsume’sfriends are beaming at her. Yuriko lets go of a breath she washolding, and watches Touko reach out to cup one side of Natsume’sface in the gentle cradle of her fingers.
“My,my,” she says, impossibly fond, “you’re so popular, Takashi-kun.Introduce me to whoever I haven’t met, please! And you’re all morethan welcome to stay for lunch.”
Shesmiles kindly, as though her face was made for it. Natsume, whenYuriko gets a good look at him, smiles almost exactly the same way.
Natsume’sfoster father laughs when they all pile into the sitting room, folding his newspaper and greeting Natsume’s friends by name as theyregale him with their afternoon adventures. They’re all comfortablehere, in this big house, with Natsume’s small family. The fat catTaki was holding is snoring comfortably in Nishimura’s lap,and Tanuma gets up when Natsume does to help Touko with a tray oficed tea.
Shedoesn’t get a chance to talk to Natsume alone until almost everyoneelse has gone, and even then she can’t stay much longer herself orshe’ll miss her bus.
“I’llwalk you,” Natsume says, and stands up, calling for his cat. Toukotells him to take an umbrella. Tanuma and Taki smile peacefully atYuriko from where they’re sitting together on the porch.
“I’mhappy you came to see him,” Taki says. “It was so nice of you.”
“Wedon’t expect nice from the people he used to know,” Tanuma addsplainly. “It’s good to know he had friends before. Thank you fortaking care of him.”
Before,Yuriko thinks. As though they’ve split his life into two halves, andthe half they’re in now—the After—is the better one. She hopesshe might find a place in this half of his life, too. She wants to bea part of the better one.
Natsumelingers. He occupies the mind in small, unobtrusive ways. There is atiny corner of Yuriko’s heart that belongs to him, in much the sameway a much larger corner belongs to Junko, but he has never beenhers. He has never belonged to any of the places those distant, unkind relatives tried to pin him down, like an unwilling butterflywing to corkboard.
But hefound home here, in this lazily sprawling country town. He smiles athis neighbors, and waves when shopkeepers greet him by name. He’s socomfortable, so far removed from that detached boy Yuriko remembers, who could hardly raise his head to say hello to a classmate.
Thisis familiar, still. Walking with him under an umbrella. Even if it’sa tighter squeeze than it once was, with Toyomatsu hunkered in onNatsume’s other side, it’s still nice. She’s smiling as she walks, heart full to bursting.
Thebus is already coming into view down the road when they reach thesmall bus stop. Yuriko’s bag is heavy with leftovers Touko sent withher. Toyomatsu is flipping through a book Adachi lent him. Yurikoreaches out to catch Natsume’s sleeve, smiling widely at him.
Shesays, “I’ll come see you again.”
“You’rewelcome anytime,” he replies. His eyes are soft for her the waythey were for Nishimura and Taki and Touko. She’ll hold that in herheart forever. “Call to let me know when you’re coming, and I’llmake sure it’s not as crazy around here.”
“Thecrazy was definitely a part of the charm,” Yuriko says, warm withthe knowledge of his phone number secured next to his address in herfavorite notebook. “But I want to go fishing with youguys next time. Deal?”
“Deal.”He laughs, and even Toyomatsu looks up at the sound of it, looking asstunned as Yuriko feels.
Natsumestands at the depot, waving as the bus pulls away. Yuriko shoves her bagonto Toyomatsu’s lap and shoves her window down, hoping to catch aparting glance of her friend.
Someoneis standing with him, nearly two heads taller and oddly thin. They’rewaving, too.
Yurikohadn’t noticed any other people waiting at the tiny bus stop. She’spretty sure no one else had been on the lonely street with them, andin the flat country it’s easy to see for miles.
Natsumeand the tall, tapered figure are still waving as the bus picks upspeed and pulls farther away. Natsume’s umbrella is closed, but hisdusty blond hair is dry as the wind combs through it. She wonders ifthe awning of the depot extends farther than she thought. It’s hardto make out through the rain.
Eitherway, she waves back, until long after she can’t see them anymore.
