minette eventually ends up with a big canopy bed as basically anything she wants at mikhail's (honestly very quaint compared to most royals) palace as well as tiny chairs alongside mikhail's huge ones but those are really more for show since she's always lounging somewhere on his person instead. he's Very reluctant about them sleeping in the same bed at first bc he's afraid he'll squish her, although he Can change his size he'd rather not have to do that while sleeping, but she fits on his chest nicely and he hasn't managed to squish her in a few hundred years.

minette gets big fluffy coats and hand muffs for the constant winter but they're honestly more for show because she doesn't actually need them, she can stand barefoot in the snow and she's fine, it's more to make the mortals around less freaked out. because her big coats go over her wings, visiting diplomats often end up very surprised once they get inside and discover she's mikhail's wife and very much not a mortal servant or something like they assumed. a lot of people end up surprised about their relationship in general, especially because of the king's very gruff prickly demeanor, they don't expect someone as scary as him to have a tiny cute wife.

most people don't recognize her as a missing heir to the sky kingdom because that kingdom was already kind of reclusive, and they scrubbed mention of her from the records because they were angry and felt it was a betrayal that she left the kingdom. the few times people do recognize her she hatessss talking about it and tries to gaslight them into thinking she's totallyyyyy just a nymph don't even suggest something so ludicrous.

she is flightless but her wings do flap when she's excited and she has to try very hard not to let them do that especially if she's trying to lie, or in the case of her first few hundred years in the snowy kingdom, trying to hide how down bad she was for the king lmao

Alastair Sim (Scrooge)—A Christmas Carol is a holiday tradition in my household. From a young age I became a connoisseur of Scrooges and I can unequivocally say that Alastair Sim is not only the Scrungliest Scrooge, but one of the the All Time Scrungly Little Guys in general. The gaps in his teeth. The buggy eyes. The way his hair gets mussed up if anyone within a 10 foot radius even breathes, it's so whispy. And don't get me started on the speech pattern. Just.... just watch the "merry as a schoolboy" scene in Scrooge. He's peak scrungle through the whole movie, but he only gets scrunglier the nicer he becomes.

Ruth Gordon (Rosemary's Baby)—Look. I know "Harold & Maude" is just past the cutoff, and that's without a doubt her scrungliest performance. But this is THEE Ruth Gordon! She's the most persistent of the scrungly little guys, and probably among the littlest while we're at it. This legend-ass legend scrungled her way through Hollywood, on screen and off, for decades until finally getting the recognition she deserved for "Rosemary's Baby." And that performance worked largely in part because she was scrungly with style and pizzazz. Few people could pull that off the way Ruth did. Even if we're not allowed to consider Maude because of a silly little thing like "dates" and "rules" (your rules aren't silly, I love and respect this blog), Minnie is more than enough to prove Ruth Gordons scrunglitude

blorbo (the one in brain Always): blorbo award goes to mr. parable 'perrie' shakes. he is my favoritist boy. i put him through so much pain. he started as a joke character, smashing sherlock holmes and shakespeare together, but he is so much more. hes such a fun character because he toes the line of 'selfless or just self sacrificing' hard. hes a healer who didnt plan to be a healer, but takes the role in stride! he likes being helpful! blorbo from my brain.

scrunkly (baby character, the one whom is baby): solstice fortunata. solstice. yep. mhm. my scrungle, my little guy. his abilities literally revolve around emotion, so hes kinda shaped by them! despite that? their joy is never faked and their smile is so sweet and their eyes are so bright. solstice can and will make it their job to cheer someone up. i adore he.

scrimblo bimblo (underrated fav): mouse murdock! howdy ho! okay. mouse is one of my favorite characters. i never properly use her for anything, but she is so special to me. theres something that can be personal about a little lady who is not an alien but is almost one.

glup shitto (lmao bg character): so. so i have this character. his name is ace. ace overwood. ace is like 14 years old, a cellist, and... his power is 'egg'. yeah his abilities are all egg puns. hes a snotnosed kid who plays cello though. ive. he has no substance as a character but god hes so fun he stinks so bad.

poor little meow meow (pathetic </3): parable downly. who is perrie in the worst case scenario. at his best, downly is the worst case of repressed autism turned emotional repression youve ever seen. he is a business boy and does nothing more than make snide remarks about the people hes forced to interact with. downly is incredibly intelligent, but he also learned from his father (who i will get to.) how to deal with others. which is! not well!! he sucks but also hes like literally a kid who never learned how to kid. pathetic little man </3
