The day before the term starts was eventful

Things that happened:

Fable headed to the Magic Realm to purchase his very own broom and ended up meeting Auntie Dove in person! They clicked immediately and are now bffs.

Crush unlocked! Mia is a Literature student and Fable is head over heels for her.

Did some hocus pocus at the campus statue to boost our academic performance. Will it work? Let's hope so-

We have an annoying roommate named Galen. He spawns everywhere and thinks he's better than the rest just because he's blond.

Thinking about "A Bard's Lament" again - I've heard and read it said a lot that if Ashley Johnson had been able to play Pike that day Scanlan might not have left, and yep, valid, but also consider this -

if Ashley had been at the table for "The Deceiver's Stand", I don't think we would've had Grog's "No. No. NO. Fix him. FIX HIM!"

BUT we would've had Pike's immediate reaction to Scanlan's death and I honestly don't know which would have hurt more

yo I CAN recruit liches!!! let's go! Absolute funniest recruit so far bc I didn't even need to go insane with the chariot rewinds, the lich just decided "yeah sure, why not" on my first attempt to recruit her. Wild. (she still lowkey hates me though bc she started at a pretty low loyalty stat, which makes the entire thing so much funnier to me; Connecticut Clark moment if there ever was one in Tactics Ogre). Also "lich" is apparently the class that can recruit umbra, so now I'll have a new fun side project while I dungeon-crawl

(I'm thinking I need a necromancer for recruiting the phantoms though, I know they're recruitable, I just don't have the right class to do so yet, but I know necromancer is a playable class bc I saw it listed when I was checking out potential reclass options for one of my units. I desire skeletons and floating sheets in my army though, so one day, one day...still curious about what the "divine" enemy types are that clerics can recruit bc I have yet to see any)

Also I finally recruited a hydra! (the chariot rewinds to get said hydra were insane, there were so many different branches). So, unless there's a way to recruit the legendary critters, I finally have all the dragons--and I think all the standard beasts too (gryphon, cockatrice, cyclops, and a golem even though golems are technically tied to the witch/warlock class for recruits).

Anyhow, Pirate's Graveyard is quickly becoming my favorite dungeon in Tactics Ogre Reborn so far, although I am devastated that I can't recruit the krakens OR the dagons--I know they're just recolored octopuses, but I still want to recruit them...

Orin this, Nere that - the hardest fight in BG3 is Myrkul hands down. Which sucks because Ketheric is so cool and this is tempering my enjoyment of him. Tbf I’m playing on Tactician mode this time through the game so it’s really my own fault but this is impossible I fear.
