I think I have not been invited to the dinner where my 18 year old cousin - a literal teenager - is introducing her 24 year old boyfriend - a man old enough that if he'd gone to college he could have graduated college, could have a master's degree - to our part of the family because I expressed concern at their age difference.

#i just...#i know it's only six years but #she's 18!#she graduated from high school less than a year ago!#she's a teeneager and he's nearly old enough to rent a car!#and my whole family is so excited about their relationship!#maybe because i'm 28 and have no interest in marriage yet and have no interest in having babies for them to fawn over #oh and another thing!#i don't know all the details because i refuse to be in the family chat and now i can't ask for them bc #anyway i'm pretty sure they met in October and things seem to be getting really serious really fast #i don't know if they've actually talked about marriage but my aunt (not her mom) said the word in conjunction with them and i just #i get that people can get from meeting to marriage really fast and it be ok but SHE'S EIGHTEEN YEARS OLD #i can't handle this #chloe gets personal #rant
