Celeste Sallow: OK THIS IS THE NAME IM SUPER PROUD OF BAHAHA because not only does the name celeste relate to the stars (in typical ravenclaw fashion...clora picked the name) but celeste sallow is also an alliteration. BUT, its an alliteration that begins with a C, which means clora gets to match with celeste in the form of both of their names starting with a C, whereas sebastian gets to match with celeste because both of their names are an alliteration/they're alliteration allies🥹ITS THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS!🥳

Lewis Sallow: as for lewis, if you've read my fic then you know that seb has a vendetta against names that start with an L bahaha, but 'lewis' was actually HIS idea. when celeste was born, seb wanted to find a muggle story to read to her, since clora's favourite story is ALSO a muggle one (sherlock), and he wanted to stick with tradition. so he ended up finding alice in wonderland, which he loved because of how adventurous and clever alice was and of how much she reminded him of clora and celeste (both personality and looks wise). it became his favourite for those reasons, to the point that when they had lewis, sebastian overcame his L-name hatred by naming their son after lewis carroll.

Houses: celeste could have been sorted into either gryffindor or slytherin, but ultimately ends up in slytherin because she wants to be like seb. kinda like how clora also probably could have been in gryffindor, tbh. as for lewis.....him being 10000% in ravenclaw doesnt need any explanation BAHA, just look at him.

Appearance: since clora has a tiny bit of veela blood in her, thats obvs passed down to their kids, too, and so they mostly take after her as a result of it. but there's still little bits of seb that shine through in each of the kids: for lewis its his brown curly hair, and for celeste its her complexion/freckles. and the fact that celeste looks so similar to clora only doubles up sebastian's stress/protective instincts when he watches her BAHAH. he's ofc still proud that she takes after him so closely, but seb also cant deny that he wishes it had been their SON that had taken after him instead, to keep her out of danger.

Celeste & Lewis: for celeste and lewis’ relationship, celeste is a super proud big sister, and treats lewis kinda like how seb treats clora. if there's anything that needs to be done, she offers to do it for him. and although she doesn’t have the patience to read stories herself, she loves playing outside and having lewis read to her in the background, and loves to act out/use his stories to fuel her imagination. and lewis makes sure to pick stories that he KNOWS she’ll like (which mostly involve heroic and daring feats of adventurers or pirates. he's tried to read more classic fairytales and romances to her a few times, but celeste always gets bored). she loves to draw though, so sometimes when lewis reads books that have no pictures, she'll draw them herself.

Celeste & Seb/Clora: celeste is a daddy's girl LOL and always tries to impress seb with the stuff she does, especially after hearing how HE was at her age, and so its half to impress and half because shes competitive that she wants to do the same/be just as good. and seb always gets a kick out of hearing her feats in the crossed wands club, or in defense against the dark arts class, and he also goads her on, telling her she'll have to do better than that if she wants to be as good as HE was. and whenever celeste gets detention, clora always stresses and asks why, whereas seb just tries to keep the smirk off his face. as for celeste and clora, clora also reads to celeste, and bakes and cooks with her, which is something celeste actually likes doing. not only because it keeps her busy and she likes to help and get messy in general, but also because she likes the fact that it results in good food afterwards LOL, and constantly asks when things can be taken out of the oven. also, for as tomboy-y as celeste is, she honestly doesn't mind/likes the clothing that clora puts her in and likes when clora dresses her up, bc it makes her look like one of the princesses from the storybooks, and it just amuses her more than anything else. once she enters hogwarts, though, its mostly trousers. but she still DOES like the occasional girly clothing.

Lewis & Seb/Clora: lewis is a momma's boy LOL and unlike celeste, doesnt care about duelling or of proving himself or anything like that, and is only concerned with stories and his future studies. so ofc clora had to show him sherlock, which he naturally loved. it even inspired lewis to want to write his own stories, so that he could challenge his own skill and see if he could, but also because he wants his mom to read them, and likes the idea of writing his own sherlock-esque story with equations and mysteries to be solved that he can offer her. lewis also wants to write a book for celeste as well, bc although he wont admit it, he basically wants to write a story tailor-made for her and her interests. one that he thinks will have everything she’d love in it. and part of it is genuinely because he WANTS to do it for her, but the other part of it is also for his ego, and to see if he CAN write a compelling story, and write something that would actually get THE hyperactive celeste to sit down and read it in its entirety (not to mention of her own volition). as for with seb, lewis looks up to him more than anyone else, due to how well-rounded he is and how hes so good at practical stuff AND studying, and he kinda sees seb as a main character/protagonist from one of his books, and uses sebastian as inspiration for his own stories. if hes stuck on what he thinks the dashing main character should do next, he'll ask his dad what HE would do, which results in seb getting very weird questions that he nonetheless is always happy to answer. also, when lewis is older and finally learns the full story of what happened with clora and seb and ranrok and rookwood, he writes their story in novel form, except he just changes their names/some of the details, and it becomes a best seller LOL. and i didnt know where to put this, but the four of them all read a story before bed every night, with lewis in the middle and seb and clora on either side of him. though celeste stands at the foot of the bed, basically doing a charade/mime show of what theyre reading, and putting on a little play to go along with it BAHHA.

OK thats all i can think of for now ive yapped enough😩 if youve read all of this ur a real one.... ive also considered giving them a 3rd (and last) child, which would be a boy that looks exactly like seb, and seb would just be praying like please.....let this son take after me🧎‍♂️🙏 BAHHA

An image of what seems to be the main cast for Wonderful.When it comes to the little bit of details being expressed so far it's a mix of weirdness but I generally have a good feeling over the upcoming season's theme and execution.The main idea is showing us that our leading Cure is actually a dog who gains the ability to transform into a human girl and of course a Pretty Cure.I can excuse her name being Cure Wonderful thanks to that,if anything thanks to the pun it might be better off calling her Cure Wan-Derful.

For past experiences her voice actor has taken credit for that's a character I know she's supposed to be Kanna from Dragon Maid.So using that for reference this isn't her first time dealing with what I think can classify as "Shapeshifter".Her dog genetics also say she's the Papillon breed which being more of a cat person I don't really have much experience to but a page on the American Kennel Club website did provide some handy statistics that might be worked into her character.

As I said already the naming scheme for the initial Cure Status Quo feels a bit weak compared to the motifs of previous seasons but I can excuse that when your team leader is an actual dog most of the time.

Bringing us to our next most major Cure we have a bit more info on,Iroha Inukai aka Friendy.Her name in magical girl form is likely rooted to how dogs get referred to as "Man's Best Friend".

Design-Wise I'm not quite sold on her default outfit and hope the fashion she'll get later on(When the seasons change or similar) and I think the hat would look better if it covered her whole head rather than being a tiny thing on the side.Her voice apparently being who does Anya [Forger] among a few other characters makes me really want her to be worthy of my ever expanding list of favorites and shows this isn't her first time being a magical girl or dealing with a weird dog.

Similar to the season we're closing off on we don't have true details for Nyammy and Lillian but it isn't too hard to put the clues together.

"Nyammy" contains Nya which is how Japan tends to express what English would call "meow".There is a white cat named Yuki present along with her owner,Mayu Nekoshiyama.

The pink ribbon placements sort of remind me how Blake concealed her cat ears in the first volumes of RWBY.With how order is place in the quartet Yuki is going to be the one who transforms first followed by her owner.Not too sure how much of a time skip this will be in the grand scheme but the little bit of info presently given on Mayu says she recently moved into the town."Lillian" might also be an odd choice of name considering the limited knowledge at the moment for it's a name that seems rather human instead of descriptive or constructive(Then again,Laura just used her last name) and seeing the meaning of it as a girl's name it's supposed to give a sense of peace and passion but at the same time it's based on lily flowers...Which I have seen several informative sources say are HIGHLY TOXIC TO CATS and it might be very telling that a cat is possibly implied to have assisted in her owner's Cure name.

Our last duo in the visual is currently more for the hypothetical theories right now than outright stated from initial visual choices.If it's going the way they're wanting us to think they're who I am really pinning the money on.

Glasses Boy is Satoru Usayama while his bunny's name is Daifuku

The former is definitely hinting to have a lot of those marks I said I'd want for a male cure successor for Tsubasa:

Classmate to one of the main characters(So he does attend the school)

Outfit hints he's going to fill the niche of the yellow/orange/gold member to the team

Ends up needing to be a secret keeper about the girls' being Pretty Cure

If he keeps his glasses or they turn into a monocle when the time comes and everything checks out that's perfection in my book.In regards to his rabbit...

Apparently that's one brave bunny not that I can read that going by the facial expression the first impression is giving.Need to wait for the show proper to truly see the loppy lapin in action.

Now for the final shreds of detail that more-or-less are "public"...

Whatever role these animals will be serving they very much seem a bit like an extended cast including recolors of the animals from Healin' Good

Lastly is our first shot at one of our monsters of the episode which this time around are starting out with the name of "Garugaru"

This might very well be best viewed as the Pretty Cure spin on some subject matters Animal Detectives Kiruminzuu dealt with and all we have to do is wait for the fourth of February to see it start to unfold

She'd normally look around for strades old threads and need box just for her damaged clothes, wounds and favourite stuff if it's ever ripped. Having to stitch up her old clothes she was luckily allowed to keep, she'd struggle to keep them together properly but it was better than wearing his..

When the place is empty and quite, Lee will take out a beaten up sketch book, it was something she'd requested from strade to get for her, this was her only luxury he ever got her. So she's wise with it and makes sure no damage is done to it..

At time's when ren's watching the TV or is in their shared room, Lee will try and get the chance to draw. She isn't to much of a fan when ren's snooping around her stuff, what's caused more aggravated moments from Lee than what was needed.. But hey she's going to get angry if you do.

Physically features.

Cat beastkin are no more different than the fox Beastkin, both are similar but one is smaller whilst the other is more built and capable.

Cat beastkin like normal cat's have the same capabilities, agility, stamina and flexibility as any other feline. Being bigger and more human like but also having a tougher time hiding their ears and tail, they'll shave, trim, buzz or bold they tails down.

Once this is done to the cat kin, they are free to go out for food and other things, for the ears they are advised to cover, hide and wear different hats, ribbons or even thick types of cloths if it's more comfortable.

For eye's look for the slim slitied pupils, they are a significant difference but also watch for darker hands, marks under or on the side of blow the eye's, dark tabby lining on the neck and arms as well.

What are wildcats capable or?

With Lee as an example of her species, while some cat kin blind in or attack or species of Beastkin straight on. Wildcats avoid or will try to tire out the victim or take auction at the person, if they're successful in their kill then it's a pleasurable death.

Now if you prefer to provoke the cat beastkin, they are ferociously aggressive towards anyone who they view as a threat. So with Lee she'll get into and arch stance, legs starting crouched, body lowering itself in a protective manner, tail bushing up and eyes dangerously dilated.. Their teeth and claws are retractable so better be ready to run and dogde fast!

Lee is a weary individual if you ever meet her, she's quickly to temper whilst she's also easily fearful and submissive. Whilst her time living with strade hasn't been easy, she's still keeps a kind hearted hand out to anyone who needs it. She's also quite protective over her friend ren, I'd suggest you be ready reader.

With her tail twitching to ear's flattened and teeth bared, Lee is quick to jump first then questioning later. With the amount of times she's lost her temper at victims of strades and has nearly killed them herself, she's almost terrified of who she'll lash out at next.

When it comes to meeting new strangers or not understanding the dangers around her, Sirena well play right into people hands without her even realising before it's to late. But it's also saved her a few times but it's very far and few.

● Lee was an exchange student visiting Canada, this was for a study programme on literature and art. After a couple of months in the county, Lee would be out with a couple of friends grabbing drinking, having a fun time and bumping into a certain German. Both had struck up a conversation before Lee had to leave, but before she left she'd given him her number.. This was a huge mistake, let's just say.. She was the first victim of strades.

5 Things Steph likes about Grace:

1. Her tooth gap. Steph thinks it's such a cute feature on Grace, somehow making her smiles even brighter.

2. Grace's enthusiasm. Steph really likes seeing Grace be passionate about things, even if it's not always a topic Steph is necessarily interested in she'll always make sure to try her best to listen, though unfortunately her mind tends to wander often (ADHD Steph cough cough).

3. A little similar to the previous one, but Grace's determination. She's very persistent with the things she wants, going to great lengths to achieve those goals. Steph sometimes thinks that Grace's ideas are a little... far fetched, to say the least, but she's always supportive :]

4. The fact Grace does arts & crafts. It's usually small things like making bracelets or sewing patches and embroidering onto things. For example, the strawberries on the bottom of Grace's jeans. Steph has a small collection of bracelets Grace has gifted her over time. She doesn't wear them too often, but they hold a special place in Stephanie's heart.

5. Her organization skills. Steph would've probably lost her earbuds, her favorite hoodie and her English notebook months ago if it weren't for Grace, making sure they never leaves anything behind and that everything ends up nice and tidy. Steph can't even count how many times she was looking for something and a few seconds later a slightly smug Chasity pops up with an item in her hand, going "Were you looking for this?"

5 Things Grace likes about Stephanie:

1. Grace admires how laid back and nonchalant Steph can be. Grace can't imagine just, not caring about things, so whenever Steph shrugs things off Grace is genuinely very impressed and even a little jealous.

2. Stephanie's style. As much as Grace might've argued that it's "sinful" or "unholy" to wear 'revealing' clothing or put on makeup, she has now somewhat come to terms with the fact that Steph is gorgeous, and there's really hardly any point in denying it. The way Steph puts together outfits that are casual, yet all the small details in them come together so beautifully.

3. Her humor and jokes. Laughing comes so naturally to Grace when she's around Steph, small and seemingly insignificant comments that Steph says make Grace burst into a fit of giggles. There are some jokes that Grace would deem inappropriate, putting on a stern face and gently scolding Steph. But Steph notices Grace trying to stifle that giggle, and she just looks too adorable to ignore.

4. Steph's confidence. The way she's so self-assured in her words and actions, smooth talking her way in and out of things. Sure, Grace is also confident (although some would just call it being stubborn) but Steph just has that extra charm when she speaks, her voice sounding sweet as honey in Grace's ears.

5. This is a very simple one, but how warm Stephanie is (body temperature wise). I think Grace (like me hehe) always has cold hands. She doesn't really notice it but people always comment on it whenever they feel her hands. Stephanie on the other hand is almost always warm and you'll probably hear her bitching complaining about the heat if the AC in the class is broken. Grace loves clinging close to Steph on cold winter days and Steph loves putting Grace's hands on her face to cool off a little when it's super hot outside :3

In conclusion, I think they're complementary opposites. Some things they can agree on, while in other places they're totally different but they'll be there for each other no matter what :]

Velvette's Rival

A lot of people have some speculation on who Velvette's rival could be and I think it's Roo.

I know this seems strange to speculate since we haven't even met Roo yet but that hasn't stopped me before and it won't now. This is going off of their appearances as that's my biggest evidence for this theory. I'm also going to speculate on Roo's personality while I'm at it as the vees and their rivals are foils to each other for example Vox is a foil to Alastor and Valentino is a foil to Angel Dust.

Okay so there's been a lot of speculation on who Velvette's rivals is from Niffty, Charlie, Vaggie, Camilla Carmine etc. But Charlie and Vaggie already have rivals in Helsa and Lute respectively. Carmilla it doesn't really feel like a rivalry like Velvette doesn't seem to actually care that much about Carmilla and only hates her because she's old and Velvette looks down on older authority figures. And Niffty personality wise she and Velvette don't have anything in common and don't look visually similar the closest similarity they have is that presumably they're both good at sewing that's about all I could think of. Also Valentino and Vox are somewhat obsessed with their rivals and I can't really see Velvette get any sort of personal obsession with any of these characters.

If Velvette's rival is Roo the first reason I would think that is their appearances. I've stated before but Velvette's main outfit is almost identical to Roo's. With the long trench coat, long pants, and crop top. And her hair has magenta, purple, and a little bit of white while Roo's is red, black and white. Their hair is also very wild the difference is Velvette usually has her's tied up so it's harder to notice. I also noticed that Valentino and Vox have a darker color scheme sompared to Angel and Alastor. And when you compare Velvette and Roo's color scheme Velvette's is darker than Roo's.

The fact that Velvette has been advertised in that often more than once and was in her design reveal post seems to indicate that particular outfit is important for some reason.

The next part of this post is mostly speculative but if this theory is true I have some ideas of what Roo's personality could be like.

If Roo is Velvette's rival then I think like Velvette she's kind of a bitch. This was implied with the original post Viv shared of Roo calling her such. I also think that while velvette is a fashionista Roo get's her clothes from the trash. Velvette can see details others would miss because she's a fashion designer while I think Roo is capable of this too but it's because she's a detective. My personal head canon for her since she has the fedora hat and long trench coat. I also think that like Velvette, Roo can be very commanding and she also may be uncharge of an organization or group as one nickname Viv gave her is Trash Queen. I also think that like Velvette Roo is very upfront about how she thinks of others and I don't think she'll show respect to anyone unless you earn her respect.

Anyway I really liked this theory and thought I would share and I also really hope Roo's introduced in season 2.

What do you enjoy most about anakirui? Coming from a plot aspect how do you feel they synergize the most

uhhhmmm

i honestly do not know what i enjoy about anakirui the most. it's very hard to measure. it's kinda like asking me what my favorite vocaloid song is, i would not be able to give you an answer. at all.

but plot wise, i think what i really like about them in terms of canon are their narrative parallels, but more importantly, their dynamic. i think i'll have to talk about them in duos rather than as a whole for the sake of this post, as there's few events where they have major moments altogether.

i think with akirui, what i like about their dynamic is how they started off together and how they've developed since. they got into an argument because they reminded each other of their traumas, but over time, they have come to realize that they're more similar than they thought. some of my favorite scenes are how akito forces rui to get first aid for his ankle in shibufes (and later makes him take an ice pack in his card story for it), how akito goes from being averse to the idea of rui helping him study (only for him to want to pass his exams so he doesn't let rui [and touya] down), and how rui in rise as one (most prominently in their area conversation after) showed such care for akito's trauma with dogs— something akito isn't used to at all. i also like how akito has stopped masking around rui now!! all that's left is for rui to stop masking in return...

with akian, what i like about them is how they're always kinda... pushing each other forward, i guess? an was the person who gave akito his specific dream of surpassing rad weekend, and akito finding touya indirectly pushed an to find a partner of her own even more. i think it says a lot just how much akito has trusted an this whole time, despite them having only been acquaintances prior to the main story— touya comments on it in an1; because akito believes an will sort out her feelings with kohane. and every time an has had issues since, the person she's run to for support is akito— who is always looking out for her and idk it's just very sweet. and even in an4, while he is apologizing to her for vbs making her confront taiga— he believes in her— that she'll start singing with them to beat him— and it just ties back into what touya said in her very first event and i DIED

something about akito getting his dream from her and becoming her rival to akito being teammates with her and supporting her when she falls down and seeing her in himself— and on that topic... i think it's cute that an sees herself in akito, too.

with anrui, they are the least developed in canon of these three dynamics, but i feel like they're going to be relevant in the future. they literally have no kizuna despite having interacted since launch (maybe there's spoilers in the titles and that's why?), but besides that, i think anrui is very cute.

an is one of the very few characters that are accepting of rui and do not treat him like he's strange when they first meet him 😭 in events like cheerfes and wedding1 she encourages his ideas and treats him like she would anyone else with her usual friendly and energetic personality, and i think it's very cute.

my favorite scene of them is the area conversation after let's study hard where an asks to pilot one of rui's drones— iirc it's very rare for someone to express interest in rui's robotics like that without him mentioning it.

but back to why i think their dynamic will be relevant; let's study hard has a chapter where an and rui are talking about mizuki in the hallway together, and here it's insinuated that rui feels insecure towards an.

not because an did anything wrong, but because to him, an seems like a much better friend to mizuki than him. she is actively making them happy, unlike rui, where his and mizuki's friendship was built off of survival— they were the only people "saving" each other from (implied) suicide in middle school (but rui never really made them happy).

what's ironic is that mizuan are the opposite of being close friends (an hadnt even told mizuki about vivid street LOL) and rui doesn't realize that but i digress

considering how an's attachment problems with kohane were solved in an5, i think having another event with them could really help rui with his development— especially since they have very similar abandonment issues. i think it could be a good opportunity for rui to reflect on his feelings about mizuki or wxs or both.

aide note: for some reason there's a pattern of an mentioning rui unsolicited. she does it in vbs main story, she does it in the first april fools au AND she does it in the second one (i haven't checked the third one). all three instances are in his absence, which is hilarious (this also doesn't account for her and akito talking about him while he wasn't there in wedding1, so ig that's four times???)

in terms of scenes where all three of them are together, did you know this card is from akito's pov?

their first card together is Legitimately at a fucking wedding. rui made akito be a part of it and then akito made an be a part of it. why are they married ????

there's also that one cheerfes scene where akito is running and rui starts talking about how strong akito's legs must be (homophobic dog stare) and then an just mentions how akito does a lot of sports 💀

there's also an teasing akito for helping rui with his ankle in shibufes... in ensekai it was localized as her calling him a "good boy" which is crazy 😭😭😭 either way it was cute

5. Do they argue often? If so, what do they argue about?

Literally all the time - it's just an occupational hazard from spending any amount of time around Eris. Most of the time, it's teeny-tiny arguments that don't have any bearing on anything, more like teasing than anything else, and those are just brushed aside. Sometimes there's a big one, like the one we see in Dead of Night, but those are honestly pretty rare - those little arguments might look contrarian or even outright hostile to an outside observer, but they actually serve as a good method of communication for the two of them, and stopping the little annoyances before they grow into genuine fights.

6. How do they make up/apologize after an argument?

Like I said before, the little ones just kind of vanish without needing to be dwelt on. For the bigger arguments, the ones that really mean something, Rick is always the one to try and patch things. Eris is more the type to just let things go after a while - they argue, she learns to distance herself before it grows somewhere irreparable, and then she just comes back having let it go entirely.

After a while he learns that Rick was brought up on actual, verbal apologies and such, and they do their best with that for his sake, but it still doesn't usually happen. Eris' apologies are mainly just their loyalty to him (knowing they can fight and Rick wouldn't be hurt despite their violent nature, and knowing she'll come back eventually instead of just moving on), and Rick understands that, and that's good enough.

18. How do they care for each other when one of them is wounded/sick?

Rick tended to overreact in the early days, before he really learned just how strong Eris' healing factor is, but eventually learned to back off a bit (they heal, and he could see that the attention was starting to annoy them). When something's really bad and they need more time to recover, he's a very attentive partner. Most of the physical wounds heal up quickly, and it just becomes the matter of energy recovery, so he mainly helps out by cooking for them and encouraging them to sleep (like we see in Broken Pieces)

When Rick gets hurt, genuinely hurt... well, that's one of the few times we see Eris' softer side. In the moment, they are far from soft - they will do anything to keep him alive, and their desperation is far from a soft thing. But in the aftermath, once he's stable, she's much more openly affectionate. The injuries are a reminder that Rick isn't immortal, and the time he has with him is valuable.

24. How do their personalities affect their relationship? Do their characteristics compliment each other, or clash often?

Bit of both. Their personalities compliment each other in that they're both similar people at the core of it, and they have an understanding of each other that really drives their relationship through any rough times they have. They're far from a picturesque romantic couple, but they're intensely loyal to each other, and there are a lot of things that really don't need to be said in their relationship.

Personality-wise, they're definitely different people - Eris is contrarian and Rick is affectionate, Eris has very few morals and Rick has very strong morals, and their views on romance are very different - but that core understanding of one another is really what keeps their relationship strong at the end of the day.

27. How do they say “I love you” non-verbally?

Rick is obviously the more openly-affectionate one, and he's definitely the type to sneak quick kisses or little affectionate touches to show that he loves them. He also shows his love through food, cooking meals for Eris when they're injured or even just having breakfast ready for them when they wake up. There are a lot of ways Rick says "I love you" - it used to be an incentive for Eris to see this as their home, to prove that they could be comfortable here and stick around, but now it's just that he enjoys taking care of them.

Eris' affection is a lot more subtle, but it's definitely there when you know to look. There's a lot of this in Whatever Keeps You Around, and the other softer scenes we get with them. Most of it is in proving how much they really know Rick - always remembering his favorite brand of cookies, his preferred scent of deodorant, how he takes his coffee - and just implementing these into their life without being asked to. Or, like we see in Whatever Keeps You Around, the way she'll tease and bicker about something (like making butter just to try it), but will play along at the end of the day. And at the end of the day or after a tough mission, when the two of them are finally alone, he'll cuddle up real close...

32. Do either of them drink? If so, who’s the lightweight, and how does their partner care for them?

Eris does drink, but it doesn't do much - even in a lull, their healing factor will burn off the alcohol before they get so much as a buzz, and bars are usually so chaotic that the ambient conflict in the room makes their healing factor even stronger. He honestly gets more of a buzz standing next to a bar brawl than any alcohol he could consume.

Rick also drinks, and generally knows his limits. He's no lightweight, either, so it's very rare that Eris has ever seen him genuinely drunk (especially to the point that he'd need help taking care of himself). If he does get there, though, Eris will help him without complaint. It's all fairly... procedural, I guess? I mean, they'll get him home, help him change, get him to drink some water, the usual stuff, she knows what to do. And it's definitely accompanied by a lot of teasing, both during and after the whole ordeal, but the fact is that he wouldn't hesitate to take care of him, and wouldn't let Rick act a fool of himself.

CBS Ghosts Review: Halloween 4: The Witch

I would say that this continues this show's streak of great Halloween episodes, despite not being as "in your face" regarding the holiday as the episodes for season two and three were.

Jay made an excellent point that the past Halloweens have all had something horrible happen at them so taking a break was perhaps a wise idea, although I don't like Sam feeling that she couldn't even wear a costume. (And yes, I know that we need to start having more situations where Jay is the one being apologized to, but was I pleased when he said that he felt bad that if she was stone the last thing he said to her before it was that she couldn't wear a Halloween costume? Yeah, I think.) Not that I'm calling Jay tyrannical or whatever, but it just felt like a bit much, considering that he knows how much Sam loves holidays.

The witch trial was much less intense than I thought it would be, honestly. I thought they would find some way to try and set her on fire or dunk her in the lake or something, but I like how it still worked without that. (And also that the ghosts were so bored they went along with it for something to do.) But what surprised me was that they thought it was all a joke until it seemed Sam was actually stone? Do they not realize how intense Patience is? She doesn't seem like a person who would joke, especially about something as intense as a witch trial. (And turning her to stone was a bit new. Probably because the regular witch trial punishments like burning or hanging were too intense for a show like this.)

Isaac seemed like a brownnosing weasel for most of this episode until he saw the opportunity to back Patience into temptation and ran with it. Loved that part, honestly. Sas could have done it better, wherever he was this episode, and in the future, I would LOVE to see an Isaac-Sas team-up in a similar situation. I think it would work out very well.

The stone Sam and Jay selling it to a guy who reminded me a lot of Sid Phillips from Toy Story without the darkness (I mean can you totally see him having a channel where he would just blow stuff up for fun?) gave us something we don't see a lot of in CBS ghosts: Stakes and tension, and I loved this episode for it. Also when Jay grabbed the car keys and was like "Okay, Pete, let's roll," and Pete just followed him with nothing bad happening and no hesitation...my brain definitely did a little happy dance there.

Also Sam mentioned there's a mummy in the ballroom and Hetty didn't correct her. Could there be a mummy curse storyline coming, perhaps? That would be interesting. Or at least to find out more of whatever random junk is in the ballroom.

Trevor really was an MVP in this episode. His ability to use his powers has really come along and I love that Jay didn't complain about Trevor at all cause I think he knew that Trevor was the one who could help him. I hope he'll remember that for the future and all complaints about him will cease unless there's good reason.

Also part of me feels that the reveal of Hetty's power is coming with all the near misses we got this episode and her trying so hard to get it. As for Alberta's power, I know they added in this other thing primarily to get a sponsorship in, but did they forget that the Alexa can hear Alberta too? That's a pretty cool part of her power. It's not just humming. That's primarily how she chooses to use it, but it's not all of it.

I loved watching Isaac trick Patience, as I said (and I loved her dance) and as much as I love her, I was sort of relived that she chose to go back, for now. (I think she'll come back when we know more about these mysterious "others" she mentioned.) And who they could be, I don't know. People who died in rock slides and things? People whose graves were moved/disturbed? It could be anything!

Wonderful episode, probably one of my favorite of the series and it looks like we're getting some very interesting Trevor stuff next week. Can't wait!

i think dee does it by purposefully playing into her status of being "below" dennis. she'll complain about being too weak to open a peanut shell or something and he'll snatch it and do it to prove hes better and out of habit maybe has a little bite. though i imagine if theyre inebriated in any way its as easy as genuinely just feeding it to him. dennis will never admit it, because he hates his sister, but he trusts her.

joyce i think can get dennis to eat just by getting alone with him. she provides a bubble of decompression and a lack of worry for him. its also insanely easy for her to just offer dennis a huff of whatever inhalant shes been having fun with that day and i imagine that makes things easier as well

Chainsaw Man 142 'Early' Analysis

This chapter is actually really interesting. There's a lot of minor choices in dialog that have been making me re-evaluate denji's character.

As much as I'm waiting on Mifune's horrible gruesome death. She continues to be an interesting character. She seems to share a similar level of awareness to Yoshida. Which I guess makes sense given how close they are work wise. It's really odd to have a character in CSM who's so vocal about everything. I've become used to getting jack shit outside of anything work related.

I'm going to skip over most of the Mifune pedophilia moments for the time being.

This whole conversation has begun to make me reconsider what I was previously thinking about Denji. What if the true reason he only saves women and animals is because that way he can justify not being able to save everyone. Denji cares, Alot. He couldn't save Aki. Up until the timeskip between Part 1 and 2, Denji was never really put in a situation where he had to save a lot of people. Off the top of my head the only chances he's really had were the Bat Devil, In which he chose to throw the guy and his car at the devil. Then pretty much everything else is just mass carnage or very personal stakes. So idk, Could be true, Could be false. We'll see.

Barem shows up at exactly the right time to stop Denji from vocalizing, something. It could've been an epiphany about his own identity, Or just being nice to Mifune. Hard to tell.

We all know what's about to happen, The choice for this to take place at an amusement park with a lot of panel focus going to the people and children who are around. This is going to be the point of no return for these guys. If they really go through with this, There won't be a way for them to redeem themselves. This is more than likely going to be the point in which Miri breaks off from the church. You can tell exactly how each of them feels about this situation based on their stance. It's really good silent characterization. Whip seems to be the only one who really WANTS to do this. Her stance is wide and confident. Crossed arms to try and seem tougher. Note the fact she's wearing goggles. Miri is stiff and tense, He looks visibly uncomfortable. We know he's only going along with this because of peer pressure. He's staring straight forward, Seemingly trying to ignore everything else in front of himself. It's subtle but its further evidence that he's not going to go along with this. Spear is very relaxed. He's holding something. I'm not 100% sure what it is, But based on his open mouth and the shape of it, It could be a cigarette. We don't get a very good look at his legs but he seems to be standing regularly. His expression is hard to read. It could be discontent and questioning, As he appears to be looking at the children in front of himself. It could also be a look of pure apathy and neutrality. He could either be questioning what they're about to do, Or he could not give less of a shit about it and is just doing it because. I feel like what we're going to be seeing in the next chapter is the slaughter. Whip and Spear will probably that going ham. Miro will either kill a few people or none at all before questioning what's going on and switching sides. Barem is a wild card in this situation, He could either stay by the wayside and just watch, Or he could transform and attack aswell. We'll probably see more of public safety doing their jobs. It'll also mean Mifune will have to fight. Either she'll be super competent, or she'll die. Given the fact she was assigned as Denji's personal guard she has to be rather skilled. I doubt it was solely because she's a stalker sex offender.

Here we go, in order! :]

1, Dalia is 5'6, and she's also 15 and weighs around 160 pounds just to cover bases

2, if she could have anything, it would probably be peace of mind. She's usually worried about something or someone, and she puts her concerns about and need to protect those close to her above her own needs. She wants a way to just shut out her thoughts and have the peace her epithet can provide to others, but if she tries to use her epithet on herself it doesn't work, so she's constantly seeking out ways to get that peace, but her thoughts never go away, she can push them to the back of her mind but they're always there and she wishes they weren't. (Lowkey needs therapy tbh)

3, alr family wise she has a pretty big family(so many cousins but I'll make a tree later, I promise) but for immediate family she has 2 siblings, both younger. The middle kid is Esme, and she's 9, and she's pretty close with Dalia (even though some days she makes her wanna rip her own hair out bc omfg does this kid not listen). The youngest is named Jasper, he's 8, and he's sweet, but that doesn't mean he doesn't cause trouble, it's just that when he just does it's more sneakily than when Esme does it. Her mom is pretty distant and is constantly working, and Dalia wishes she was around more. Her mom(named Avery) also just kinda pins her siblings onto Dalia whenever her dad isn't home. Her dad(named Carter) is a stay at home dad who's trying his best. He's got a lot going on, but despite it all, he's pretty close with Dalia. They have the same sense of humor, so if you put them in a room together, they constantly crack jokes at each other. He was on drumline when he was her age, and that's part of the reason she joined guard bc she wanted to be involved with the marching band like her dad. She looks up to him a lot.

4, she likes colorguard a lot, but there was definitely a learning curve. If you saw her at her first performance compared to her latest, you wouldn't think it's the same person. She gets super nervous before performances tho (she cried because of her nerves before her first real performance) but the more performances and practice she got under her belt the better her nerves have gotten(she still gets a little panicky before big shows and parades, but nothing compared to how it used to be)

5, Prolly Sabrina, i feel her idgaf energy would ground Dalia in a way(I have a lot of friends with that energy and idk why but it grounds me, so now figuring out why is Dalia's problem lmao) They also have similar music taste(Dalia playlist coming soon) If they were friends they'd totally send eachother fanfic for fandoms they're both in at ungodly hours of the night lmao

6, short answer, no (but if you push, yes.) Long answer no, and not because she's above eating dirt for cash but because she knows she'll probably get made fun of if she does. She folds to peer pressure pretty easy tho (people pleaser) and could probably be convinced to if you pushed her about it.

Had a weirdly interesting+angsty MLB Fic prompt idea (that I might write later)

Context - Like, do you remember that one two-parter episode of Justice League Unlimited where Batman, Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman are trying to stop this timetraveling villain, and at the end of the first part they end up in the future and GL meets his son, but it's a kid he learns he has with Hawkgirl despite the fact that he's dating Vixen at the moment and causes some angst/guilt with him

I kind of want to do something similar to Adrinette

Like, it's the standard "Emma (or Hugo or Louis, or all three) comes to surprise visit young mom and dad via Bunnix's Burrow and does a poor job hiding her ID" plot (possible set right before S6 but after S5 or after Chrysalis is taken care of) and Marinette is all excited and everything because her son/daughter's here, living breathing proof that everything worked out and that her future with Adrien is finally secure and it's all fun and cute babysitting shenanigans until Marinette slowly realizes that her "future child(ren)"...doesn't really look like her. At first she brushes it off and assumes they just simply took more after Adrien, but as the more time she spends with them passes, the more she realizes they really are nothing like her appearance-wise or in personality, and they tend to stick with Adrien more. Marinette tries to get reassurance clues about what her future as a parent is like and how Adrien and she are doing, but the child is steadfast in not giving anything up (they might've messed up in hiding their identity but they at least remember Aunt Alix's rules about No Spoilers)

And then she's referred to as "Aunt Mari" by habit/mistake, and the child is forced to confess that no, Marinette is not their mother - at some point in the future, she and Adrien break up, and Adrien goes on to marry the child(ren)'s actual mother and have them. Marinette is still good friends with him and happily acts as a surrogate aunt, but that's as far as their relationship goes now (whether Marinette goes on to marry someone else too, has a child of her own, or decides to remain a single pringle is up in the air/to the writer's discretion)

Needless to say, Marinette is upset. Adrien and her don't stay together. After everything they went through, after all the struggling, after fighting against Gabriel, Lila, Chloe, and every single force in the universe seemingly determined to keep them apart, they end up just splitting ways on their own (How did they even break up? Why? Was it because of her Ladybug and Guardian duties? Was it because he got bored of her? Was it because she skipped on too many dates? Did she forget a present, a birthday, an anniversary?). There's no happily ever after, no picket white fence and nice little cottage, no three kids and two hamsters to share in their blissful love and joy with.

And now Marinette has to go back into her life knowing that her and Adrien have an expiration date - and she has no clue when it will happen and how to stop it (or if she can).

(On the opposite end, there's also the idea of the child revealed to be Marinette's but not Adrien's (though still the same situation), with Mari having to struggle with the fact that Adrien and her don't end up lasting and wondering who exactly she actually does end up marrying and feeling even worst with this now on top of everything else she knows about Adrien. Does she keep going with the relationship despite knowing she'll let her heart be moved by another and abandoned him, or just end things now to save them both the heartache?)
