Poppy's Secret Stash
A/N: I never wrote on tumblr before, so I don't know how this works or how formatting works. Also this was written on computer so I don't know if that changes any formatting.

------------------------------------------------------------
Poppy smiled and giggled to herself, pulling out a brand new scrapbook and her supplies. She set out all her fabric, colorful paper, some glitter, and some popcorn to snack on, before getting to work.
In her younger years, back when she was simply Princess Poppy, she LOVED to make stories with her friends about bands and singers they liked, like Violet Wonder, H.E.A.R.T, No Map, and BroZone - especially Brozone - to name a few. They would sit up, late at night, giggling and scrapbooking the stories to their hearts content, and then sharing their stories with the other trolls their age. Before DJ Suki was Dj Suki, she was MAP-LESS. Everyone talked about her scrapbooks, which ranged from midnight getaways from abusive parents to be with Roman Bass, lead singer of No Map, to being being the sixth hidden member of H.E.A.R.T and dating ALL FIVE MEMBERS! Even to being the secret girlfriend of John Dory, leader of BroZone! Poppy was always jealous in awe of her friend's talent, and happy sad that she ended up leaving behind the scrapbooks in exchange for turntables.
Poppy, also known as POPSTAR_X3, was famous for one series as well. She had authored a self insert scrapbook, about her being the "pet" of the BroZone brothers, in a universe where crime ran rampant. The boys, known as the Dory Brothers in her books, kept her safe from all harm as long as she kept them happy. The books were fairly short, about ten chapters each, but she had written about.... Well, she lost track after 15.
See, while most of her friends fell out of the fictional scrapbooking, she would always find time to make these stories about her and her favorite bands. She had an entire bookshelf full to them, that she had successfully hidden away from Branch. If Branch even found one of her books, she'd probably die from embarrassment. Especially since he was one of the people she wrote most about.
Poppy's head jerked up from the page, her eyes wide as she heard some faint voices.
"Are you sure you can just barge in?" That sounded like JD.
"Yeah, Poppy said she was hanging out with Satin and Chenille today. I just need to grab a couple of things." Oh God, that was Branch.
"Well hurry up! I gotta piss so freaking bad!"
"Just go in the bushes!"
Poppy's heart started to beat at a hundred miles a minute as she scrambled to put her supplies away. The lock clicked, the doorknob turned, and Poppy frantically shoved her supplies in a nearby drawer just as-
"Poppy? What are you doing?" Branch asked with a little smile, surprised to see her in her own home. He was supposed to be hanging with his bros right now, and he was, as evidence by the four head peeking through the door.
"Branch! I, uh... Satin and Chenille had to cancel for some, uh, fashion emergency!" She lied with a giggle. "So I just, you know... Decided to have a me day! How are you? How ya doing? How ya been?" She said awkwardly, trying to hide the mess popping out of the drawer. "I'm not hiding anything. What- What- Why did you...come in?"
"I needed to grab my ESK," He said, grabbing a box that said "Emergency Survival Kit". "Are you ok, Poppy?"
"Yeah no I'm fine! Totally fine! Completely fine!" She forced a smile and some giggles before stopping abruptly. "Please leave."
Branch just gave her a weird look before noticing the open book. The one thing she had forgotten to hide. "Oh, I didn't know you write-"
"I don't!" Poppy said, grabbing the book and holding it to her chest. "I'm holding this for a friend!"
Bruce furrowed his brows and tilted his head. "The Dory's Pet-"
Poppy blushed heavily and tossed the book out an open window. She hadn't realized the title was still visible.
"Poppy," Branch said calmly as he closed the distance. "What going on? You know I want judge you." He held her hands and met her nervous eyes. "You can be honest."
Poppy bite her lip and looked at the ground. "I... I write fanfiction..."
"What's that?" The brothers had made their way in the pod now, all staring at Poppy as if she had grown two heads.
"It..." Poppy started and sighed. She pulled away from Branch and grabbed some of her scrapbooks, handing one to him and his brothers to look at. "It's something my friends and I did when we were younger. We would make up stories about ourselves being friends or being in relationships with band members. Sometimes we would make the main character ambiguous so that the reader could be the love interest... I know it's weird, especially now, but... I like it. It's kind of a guilty pleasure..." She smiled gently at the book in her hands, titled "Into the Brozone", which was about Penelope becoming the sixth and only female member of Brozone. Penelope was a fictional version of Poppy, one where she was just an average troll. No royal duties, no kingdom to worry about. Just a troll who wanted to sing and hug and dance (and be Clay's girlfriend.)
"Well..." Floyd said as he thumbed through the pages. "It's well written. And since you're writing about real trolls, then I don't think there's anything wrong as long they're ok with it." He smiled and handed the scrapbook back. "But please, don't write me as straight ever again."
Poppy smiled brightly. "Of course." She took the book back and looked over at Branch. Her heart started to beat faster. She was so nervous about what he would think. I mean, she wrote about falling in love with him and his brothers (among other singers) for years, even if she didn't realize it. There has to be something creepy about that, right?
"Floyd's right," Branch said with a smile. "This is pretty well written."
"Which one is that?" Poppy asked, peeking over his shoulder.
Branch flipped over the book and looked at the cover. "To Hook a Star," he said, going back to where he was. "Apparently, it's about you trying to win my heart." He smiled and handed the book back to her. "We all have our quirks, Poppy. If you like doing this, then do it. Have fun. You should probably ask my brothers or your friends before you write about them."
"You don't think it's weird?" Poppy asked.
"Oh no, it's definitely weird. But as long as you're happy, and no one gets hurt from it, then I think you should keep writing." Branch smiled and cupped her cheek. "Just write about me a little more, ok?"
Poppy chuckled softly. "Of course..." She looked over at the Bros, all looking at the cover of one book. JD looked confused, Bruce looked very concerned, Clay look terrified, and Floyd looked like he was about throw up.
"What?" Poppy asked nervously. "Which one is that?"
They all looked up at her, still looking confused and concerned. JD flipped the cover around so she could see it, before yelling in unison with his brothers. "SOLD TO BROZONE?!?!"

The Kids are Alright
Gemma's got a boyfriend and Cheryl isn't sure what to think about him. Worried she calls her brother but Gemma's new boyfriend seems to be playing a game all of his own and neither adult knows what to think. Is John heading off against another magician or is the boy just a little smarmy? When his niece is involved the difference doesn't seem so great.
Gemma's got a boyfriend and Cheryl is concerned.
The boy is nothing but smiles and friendly comments, he helps around the house when he comes over and he's everything she should be wanting for her daughter except he isn't. There's just something off about him. Something she can't put her finger on.
Maybe if things were different and Tony. . . well fuck if things were different then she wouldn't have to feel this way all on her own.
Alan however is always smiling and charming and she wants to like him so very much except she just doesn't.
Gemma get's angry when she mentions it. She wants to live her life and she wants to make her own decisions and Cheryl remembers what that's like. She wants to let her but Alan is starting to creep her out and she can't say why and that just seems to piss Gemma off.
She never imagined her daughter ever being angry. When she was a baby she seemed so happy but like all Constantines she eventually got her share of the bad and now Cheryl just hopes she'll finish school.
She wonders sometimes if Gemma can picture her when she was her age. She does know what it's like to be young. She had a whole world of hell to live with back then. . . she doesn't tell Gemma this, let her think her grandad was a good one. Keep the demons down and the doors locked.
In the end she calls her brother, the only person left now who remembers her at Gemma's age. The only person who knows what kind of hell went on behind their own closed door.
He's cheerful when he picks up, talking animatedly until he senses something's wrong.
"It's Gemma, she's got herself a boyfriend." She say's.
He laughs but it's shallow. "You don't sound too glad of that." He say's. "What's the trouble?"
She shakes her head and sighs. "I don't know. He just bothers me. There's nothing wrong with him, he's polite, he's nice, he seems to treat her right I just don't know."
"Does she like him?" He asks.
She sighs. "I've never seen her like this. Maybe that's it. She's growing up. I don't know John I just. . ."
Maybe it's her voice but he clears his throat, reminding her of when they were kids. "You want me to come by?" He asks. "Maybe meet the lad and see what he's about?"
She nods. "Would you?"
It's selfish. John is on the other side of the country. He doesn't need to come all the way here just because she can't the number on a teenage boy.
Who could though?
Yet he does come, right as Gemma and Alan get out of school.
He's in her kitchen when they come home and Cheryl see's Gemma smile. It's not the same smile from when she was little. She used to adore her uncle but Cheryl thinks in recent years she's started to get a little cold with him.
Maybe it's just moody teenage years, lord knows she had them herself.
It was different then though, back then she'd have done just about anything she could not to stay in the house. She'd hated it there. Her drunk dad and her brother always in trouble. She'd gone out with school friends and boys who'd thought she was pretty. Left them to the stink of drink and their misery.
John shakes Alan's hand and the boy smiles, polite and charming as ever.
"You must be the uncle." He say's. "Very pleased to meet you."
John shrugs. "Gemma told you about me?" He asks.
The boy nods, pearly, white teeth showing. "She did indeed. Gemma spoke very highly of you, sir."
Her little brother who used to steal her make up and use it for paints put's his hands up. "Easy with the 'sir' stuff." He say's. "I'm not that old."
"Oh no sir, didn't mean it like that." Alan say's and there's just something Cheryl doesn't like about him.
They let the kid's go into the sitting room and stay at the kitchen table.
"What do you think?" She asks, her cup of tea cold in front of her.
There's a chip on the table.
One of Tony's leavings.
John shrugs. "Seem's like a descent kid to me." He say's. "Trying a bit hard but that doesn't make him bad."
She taps her knuckles on the table. "Maybe I'm crazy." She say's. "But John I swear it. There's something about that boy."
He softens a little. "I'll spend a few days, try and talk to him. I suppose he comes round a bit then?"
She nods. "Funny, I've never met his parents. He doesn't really talk about them but they're kids so I try not to pry. . ."
John gives her hand a squeeze. "I'll stay a few days." He say's and she's glad of him, grateful for him.
Glad and grateful she's not alone.
She wonders if John knows some of the thoughts that live in her head, the memories and the awful little things from their childhood she can't forget. The paint on their front door and the floor boards that squealed. . . the anger inside.
She's made a good life for herself, had a family even if it's turned to shit of late.
John's the last link to who she was then and she's always loved him. She thinks he might be why she did so well with Gemma. . . she got a trial run on her baby brother. Had to raise him in some ways because dad wasn't going to do it.
Now she's just a mum worried about her kid and her brother is the only one she knows she can turn to.
She worries about Alan but she'll get her brother's opinion before she makes up her mind, after all mums are supposed to worry so maybe it's all just normal.

Chenford + Lucy please look at me
He's seen her sob, held her through the hurt and pain and fear of confronting a nightmare, and, by the skin of her teeth, surviving it.
He's seen her so angry she'd lost her words and had to, uncharacteristically, walk away from further conversation.
He's seen her happy, and excited, and playful, and mischievous. In his presence, she's been worried, and wary, and both exhausted and amped up.
She's pranked him (and he's pranked her), they've joked and teased, they've squabbled, and he's corrected her a time or two.
But he's never seen her turn herself inside out with embarrassment.
It started out innocuous. She's a flirt, but so is he. And maybe it would have been different or easier or something before that kiss in her living room, or if they weren't both recently single. But they had kissed in her living room. And they are both single.
He can't decide if the fact that they're in public with their friends makes this better or worse. If they were alone, on her couch, in a candlelit room again... would she still be radiating the same mortification?
It helps, he thinks, that Angela, Wesley, Bailey, and John aren't making a thing of it. If anything, Wesley and John are ignoring it entirely, and Angela just looks intrigued. Maybe a little amused.
"Lucy," he says quietly, "please look at me." She's close enough to him that his words can be for her alone, but he can't see her face through the curtain of soft, glossy hair she's hiding behind. The others can see her face, he knows. He wonders what they can see there.
He's still learning to be familiar with her, to touch her casually. Because, for all they've been through together, every touch from her is arresting and electric, he can't help but make a spectacle out of noticing how she's touched him. For his part, he can't figure out how to be casual about it. How to touch her completely. To allow his palm to flatten against her.
He's always been cautious with when and how he's touched people - touched women, and especially women he doesn't have a sexual relationship with. He knows he has the power to communicate intention or make someone uncomfortable, so he curls his fingers under or uses only the tips of his fingers. And now, at his age and after so many years, something about the palm of his hand touching a person feels sacred.
No one has ever noticed this except her.
So when he presses his flat hand against the curve of her waist, he's aware of the difference, and so is she.
She doesn't — can't — look at him yet, but he feels the tension bleed out of her body a little, she shifts only slightly into him, but it's enough. He can feel the warm press of her hip against him, the pressure of her thigh against his, and then he slides his hand around a little and down, until he feels the warmth and silkiness of her skin between where her shirt ends, and her jeans begin.
The air at the table seems to lift a little, and the conversation kicks back into high gear. It seems like whatever it is that has just happened has irrevocably changed things, that it has somehow cemented them as a pair in this circle rather than two people in this group.
They'll have to say more, they'll need to talk, she needs to talk. She needs to say it out loud over and over until it doesn't feel like something she shouldn't say. She'll need to learn that he does talk —that he talks so much under the right circumstances when he isn't on constant guard — and that when he does, sometimes he says things he feels the need to hide from too.
But that's for later. Right now, he wants to sit at this table with people he enjoys, a cold beer in front of him, and his palm warm against her skin.

i have a lot of thoughts about what happened with sasha and naomi tonight so warning: long post ahead.
basically what im trying to say is what i tweeted below. wwe time and time again has shown who their favorites are and what they are willing to sacrifice in order to keep them happy. it's especially ironic how badly becky's comment aged abt the aew womens division when the division and company you work for wont even listen to their top tag team stars. like i am not trying to sit here and play the "aEw Is BetTeR" card bc i frankly do not care enough to argue abt that but to see how this all fell out and the only support outside of fans sasha and naomi had was fucking mia yim is ridiculous.
no one called becky and charlotte unprofessional for their dumbass stunt last year on tv. no one called brock unprofessional when he literally whipped the championship belt at vince a few years back. this situation happened backstage and could have been kept that way but for whatever reason this had to be aired out? and they had to add corey graves' stupid ass "unprofessional" comment on top of that? corey graves especially has a lot of nerve to say that when he was the one caught up allegedly cheating on his ex wife a few years back the day before a PPV so miss me with that snarky ass comment corey.
either wwe wanted to see if ppl would agree with them and thats why they mentioned the situstion so openly or they were on crack to think that ppl would agree right off the bat. and to the ppl saying this could be a ploy to have more ppl talk abt wwe, while i doubt it is, if that is the case, they let this get out of control and idk how theyre gonna get it back. this hit mainstream media outlets and this is becoming public information, not just news that stays between wrestling fans in the wrestling realm. wwe would never openly let shit get this bad for a storyline nor would vince ever let his company be aired out like this. that mf would rather die than to see this many ppl have this much anger towards the company on purpose for a creative plot.
like i hate to be that person but wwe in recent years lost so much of me as a fan. the last time i truly sat down to see shows back to back was in 2020. being a fan of a product that only delivers once or twice a year and leaving fans unhappy the rest of the time gets tiring and seeing talent this unhappy just proves that sometimes it is the companies fault and it is isnt the fans overcomplaining.
vince, bruce, john, and whoever else has creative control backstage along with producers can go to hell. you're the reason why so many fans leave to watch other promotions or just stop watching in general.
sasha and naomi deserve so much better and sasha alone has so much going for her regardless if she continues to wrestle for other companies or if she decides to fully immerse herself in acting and retires for a while. she was on the fucking mandalorian and assumingly was under contract with DISNEY for while to which I'm sure she could get back if she wanted too. and thankfully she used her real name so she didn't have ties with wwe for it. she doesnt need wwe in the way they think she does and as for naomi, there are countless other companies that would love to have her. impacts womens division could thrive even more with her there. hell, she'd kill it if she decided to go the Stardom route and wrestle in japan for a while. wwe loses a lot if they let sasha and naomi go but sasha and naomi wont lose much if they decide to depart from the company and find other promotions to be apart of. end of story.

Tumblr media
Pairing: Keanu Reeves X Reader
Word count: 3 K
Summary: Keanu found the girl almost dead, in the wrecks of what was once her car. While she was in surgery, stuck in a coma, he gathered the best doctors of New York to attend to her. They told him she is likely to have some kind of brain damage, what may lead to memory loss. And this possibility added up wit the fact that she's pregnant, made the council come up with an odd idea. They asked Keanu to pretend to be her husband, since the stress of finding out everything that happened could put the baby in danger. He reluctantly agreed, but only if she does has some kind of memory loss. He still goes she'll wake up soon, with her memories intact.
But when you finally wake up, there's nothing inside. You're quick to find your head is empty, void, like a blank canvas. The only thing that brings you some relief, that makes you feel less lonely is the mention of a husband. And you can't wait to meet him, because you know you can't deal with this by yourself.

Guilt
The first feeling to wash over him when he opens his eyes is bliss. Pure, and utter bliss, a kind of happiness he didn't even know existed. Seeing (Y/N) peacefully sleeping on his chest is more than he deserves... And that's when it kicks in, and the joy is corrupted, overcome by guilt.
He can't believe what he did. He betrayed her on a whole other level. This isn't fair to her, not when she believes they're married. He's too buried in this lie, and last night, he did the only thing he never thought he'd do.
But how could he not? He's in love with her, he wants to be the father of her child, and there are times, and they come more often every passing day, that he's completely overcome by the fake life he's living. There are moments where Keanu is her husband. The lines are so blurry right now that he can't separate things. He can't tell the difference anymore.
Running a hand through his hair, looking at the ceiling, he smiles as she moves a little in her sleep, snuggling closer to him, a warm hand on his bare chest. (Y/N) is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. And everything drives him in. Her voice, her smile, her laughter. The way she walks, the way she talks to her unborn child when she thinks he's not listening.
He tried. He really did, but look how much he failed.
All this had an expiration date. And in the very beginning, he couldn't wait for that day. When she would remember and would go on with her life, picking it up where she left it, and forget about him. But with time, things changed. And now, he knows he can keep this up forever. (Y/N) won't remember, and Keanu can make this real. Fake the papers, he knows people who could do it. She'd be his wife.
But his love is too strong to do such a thing. He can't bring himself to do this. He has to tell her, everything. The lie, the reason, and explain it wasn't his idea. He also needs to tell her about his feelings, because they're the only real thing in this mess. And if the heavens listen to his prayers, if some kind of miracle happens, maybe, just maybe, she'd still love him. Marry him, for real this time.
Keanu could only hope. The pregnancy is not at risk anymore, and despite the doctors saying he should still keep the act, Dr. Harris assured him (Y/N) is strong enough now. And he has to tell her. And so he will. He just needs some time away from all this, away from this place, to enjoy this while he still can because he knows how insane it is. That the chances are she'll go to Argentina with her mother-in-law, and he'll never see her again. And if that really happens, he won't blame her.
Because after everything he did, for taking her as if she was his last night, he doesn't deserve this bliss. But he wants it, and he can't bring himself to end this without some more time with her. Something he will remember and cherish for the rest of this life if this is bound to break.
Tumblr media
The morning light is what welcomes you back to consciousness. Closing your eyes tight before opening them up, you take a deep breath. The air is cold, you can feel it on your bare shoulders, but the warmth coming from Keanu keeps you from complaining. The first thing you remember is what happened last night, and your cheeks go red. Smiling a little, you softly caress Keanu's chest with your thumb, not sure if he's awake yet.
“Good morning, beautiful.” He says, and your smile only gets brighter. You love the pet name.
“Morning.” Pushing yourself up with your elbows, you place a kiss on his chest, right on his heart, then on his collarbone before finally reaching his lips. “Did you sleep well?” The question was supposed to be simple, but the smirk comes from somewhere inside you and you're sure it just changed the intonation of the thing.
“Very well.” He mutters, a hand coming to caress your cheek. Keanu sounds weird, a weight on his voice.
Furrowing your eyebrows, you let yourself sink back to bed, lying beside him. “Did I... Did I do something wrong last night?” You can't help but ask, the euphoria vanishing quickly as you try to understand why he seems so... Sad.
“Of course not.” Turning on his side and encircling your waist with a strong arm, pulling you closer, he shakes his head lightly. “It was amazing. You were amazing.”
“Then what's wrong?”
“Nothing is wrong, sweetheart. Everything is so perfect that it looks like a dream.” As he speaks, you move closer, feeling as his hand rubs the small of your back.
“Uhm... I think–” The doorbell cuts you off. “Who could that be?” It sounds like a whine.
“Lucia.”
“What?” Moving away from him, you sit up. “What is she doing here?”
“She came to visit you.”
“Oh...” Who could blame you for forgetting she was coming today? You're not a fan of her, and what's going on here is far better. “Can't we just–” The cold air on your torso makes you pull the sheets to shield your body, trying really hard not to let Keanu notice how red you must be. “Can't we just pretend we're not here and stay the whole day in bed?” You're not even done speaking when the doorbells rings again.
“She already dislikes me, if you don't show up, it'll make it even worse.” Sitting up, he pulls you into a kiss. “I'll dress up and open the door for her. Go take a shower. I'll make you something to eat.”
“Alright.” Sighing, you purposely climb past him to get off the bed. Keanu gives you a look, that you choose to ignore, pulling the sheets with you as you move to the bathroom.
“One more thing.” He calls out, right before you close the bathroom door shut.
“What?”
“You don't need to cover up. You're beautiful.”
Moving to the side so the door will hide your face, you bite your lip. “Thanks, babe.” You manage to push out, closing the door.
Once you're done washing yourself, you put your hair up on a ponytail and a light blue dress. Taking one of Keanu's hoodies to protect you from the coat, you move downstairs, and the only reason why you're smiling is because you smell of bacon. It was the first breakfast Keanu made you, and it feels kinda nostalgic. It is one of the oldest memories you have.
“(Y/N),” Lucia calls as you're making your way to the kitchen. Keanu looks over his shoulder, and you give him a forced smile before turning on your heels and moving to the living room. “I missed you so much!” Lucia pulls you into a hug.
“Hi, Lucia. How's everything?” You don't like Lucia. And Lucia doesn't like your husband. And Keanu, being a gentleman, won't admit he can't stand her, but you know that's how he feels.
“I'm great. Tell me about you.” You both move to the couch, taking a seat. “How's the baby? Have you come up with a name yet?”
“We're still thinking... But we agreed on not telling people until we know for sure.” Deciding to just let it out before she asks, you try not to let her notice you feel a little uncomfortable when she touches your belly.
“Have you... Have you considered Daniel?” Lucia asks, her voice breaking a little. Shrugging your shoulders, you shake your head no. “D-doesn't this name mean anything to you?”
Obviously not. But you won't be a bitch about it. “No, it doesn't.”
“Alright.” She mumbles, clearing her throat. “So, how's this little one?”
“He's great.” You say, a hand coming to your belly.
“Or she,” Keanu adds, and you roll your eyes.
“Quit spying on me, babe.” You raise your voice, and there's only a low giggle in response.
“Is he spying on you?” Despite the clear joking tone you had, Lucia sounds... Genuinely worried.
Chuckling at her expression, you sigh. “We're just joking around, Lucia.”
“Honey...” She takes both your hands on hers, as she does right before telling you how you can trust her if Keanu does anything. It's quite tiring, actually. She can't seem to understand he's a good person. Maybe it's the age thing... But that's not her business.
“I know what you'll say, Mrs. Davis, and I assure you there's nothing to worry about. Keanu is a gentleman, he hasn't pushed me into anything.” You don't want to talk to her about that, but you don't have a choice. Every time this happens, you just hope to say the right thing to make her let it go. “Everything we've done was because I was ready.”
“What do you mean by everything you've done?” Her tone changes suddenly, a lot harsher than before, and her hands squeeze yours.
You weren't talking about that... And you didn't think that was exactly where her mind would float too. “Mrs. Davis, this is between me and Keanu.”
She giggles, fake and loud, and in a sudden motion, Lucia gets up, walking fast to the kitchen. “What did you do to her?” She's already yelling when you finally reach the kitchen, a finger on Keanu's face.
“Mrs. Davis, I–” He starts, but you won't let him do this. Lucia was your mother's ‘friend’, or so she says, and you won't let her put Keanu in this position.
“What do you think you're doing?” Moving to stand between him and Lucia, you raise her voice above hers. “What gives you the right to come to my house, put your nose in my life, and yell at my husband?” Being rude wasn't the intention, but you're suddenly angry. Blame it on the hormones, blame it on the fact that you don't like Lucia at all, or on the fact that she ruined a perfectly good morning.
“Am I supposed to smile and nod when you go around letting him have you?” Her disgusted tone takes you by surprise. Why is she talking like this? What's wrong with this woman?
“My private life is not your business, and if you haven't been paying attention, Keanu is my husband.” Stepping forward, you stare into her eyes. “And I won't have you talking like this.”
Lucia laughs, pacing around a little, a hand covering her mouth as if you just told a joke.
“This man is not–”
“That's enough.” Keanu suddenly shouts, and it startles both of you. You never heard him yelling, and that's completely new. “I won't let you speak like that in my house. I know you're important to (Y/N), but the only thing I won't allow is you ruining her progress. If you keep this up, I'll have to let her doctor know about your behavior around his patient.”
After his thunder voice is gone, you're left in silence. Deep, uncomfortable, tense silence. Lucia seems to be broken though, her face dropped, and both her arms rest on the sides of her body. “I think you should leave now, Mrs. Davis.” You say in a low voice.
She nods, eyes on Keanu. “You'll pay for what you're doing.” Is the last thing she says before storming away, taking her purse and leaving the house, pulling the front door so violently you wonder if she broke something.
Running a hand through your hair, you take a deep breath, turning at Keanu. “What the hell was that?” You mutter, still trying to understand that just happened.
“Are you alright?” He comes closer, and you immediately collapse on his chest.
“I'm alright. She's a bitch.”
“Don't think about it. Let's eat.”
Nodding, you wash yesterday's dishes as he finishes breakfast, and you both sit down to eat. Power is back, thankfully, so you decide to watch some TV as he showers. Laura calls, and you invite her over for dinner. Keanu will have a co-worker, so you'll just need to add another plate. And, after all this, you need to talk to someone.
You're skipping through the channels when Keanu comes back downstairs, and when he settles down next to you, you immediately snuggle closer, until you're pretty much lying down, and you're the little spoon, back pressed against his chest.
“I invited Laura for dinner.” You tell him, still looking for something to watch.
“Are you planning on setting her up with Robert?”
“Is Robert single?” You didn't have this in mind, but now you do.
“He is.”
“Then I'm setting her up with Robert.” You quickly make your mind, carefully turning around on the couch so you're facing Keanu. “I'm sorry, by the way. I didn't think Lucia would explode like that.”
“It's alright, beautiful.” He smiles, placing a kiss on your forehead. “I was thinking... We should take a trip. Two weeks and only if your doctors say it's alright, of course. Just so we could stay away from all this for a while.”
Smiling, you peck his lips. “I'd love that. Could we go to the beach?”
“Wherever you want, sweetheart.”
“Will it... Will it be like a second honeymoon?” You can't remember the first, but you figure it's no good to bring this up now.
Keanu giggles, caressing your chin with his thumb and index finger. “Anything you want.”
“Well, I'll need a new bikini because these two won't feet on the one I have.” You gesture at your breasts, still growing a little. “I could call Laura and we could go shopping.”
“Let me talk to the doctors first. Because there's no way I'm taking you away if they think it will be dangerous.” Keanu reminds you, raising an eyebrow.
“Alright, sir.” Moving on the couch, you start climbing on him, until you're straddling his hips. “But one day I'll be one hundred percent fine. And this won't be a problem anymore.”
“Of course.”
“So... Did you lock the front door?” You ask, placing both your hands on his chest.
“I did. Why?” When you don't answer, but just smiles and sits up, arms around your waist as he captures your lips on a kiss.
• • •
Laura has a perplexed expression on her face as you tell about Lucia. You don't mean to gossip, but Laura is pretty much your best friend, and you need someone from outside to help you understand what the hell happened. Seated on the downstairs balcony, you cross your arms, leg bouncing as you let out the whole story.
“That's crazy.” Laura bursts out. “I get it that you're important to her and everything, but you're an adult, even though you lost your memory. And you have the right to make your own decisions.”
“Thank you.” You breathe out, throwing a hand in the air. “She snapped out of nowhere. And the way she spoke to Keanu? God, I almost considered slapping her in the face.” This makes you giggle, and so does Laura.
“Look, I was... Quite unsure of this in the beginning. But I wanted you to figure things out on your own, and let you know I was there if something happened.” That's true. Laura is always around, and, if anything backfired, if something bad happened between you and Keanu, she'd be the first person you'd call for help. “And with time, I saw that you were doing fine. And I know you love him, and he loves you. I'm sure because I spoke to him myself.” With a sassy smile, she leans back, resting against the chair.
“You did what?”
“I spoke to him.” She shrugs her shoulders. “Nothing matters to me. The age difference, the memory loss, it doesn't matter. The important thing is the feeling. So yes, I called him and had a long conversation about you, and I'm convinced that man in there loves you more than anything. You and this baby.”
Laura sounds so damn sure it brings tears to your eyes. Covering your face with both hands, you start crying. “Stupid hormones!” You exclaim, body shaking with the sobs.
“Oh, (Y/N).” She gets up and hugs you, bending down a little. “I didn't mean to make you cry.”
“It's from happiness, so don't worry.” Calming down, you take a deep breath as she pulls a nearby chair and sits next to you. “Anyway... I'm setting you up with Robert tonight. Keanu's friend and co-worker.” You mutter, wiping the tears away. “So let me know if you like him or not, alright?”
“Alright.” She agrees with an eye roll.
Despite having your mind floating to two different things: you and Keanu, and Lucia's outburst, you manage to enjoy dinner. Robert is kind, and you do think this whole thing with him and Laura could work out.
But in the next days, what you really want to know it about the trip. Things have been getting even better between you and Keanu, you're growing a lot closer now that you're both living like a married couple. And going somewhere else with him would be absolutely amazing. At first, Dr. Wright says it's alright, but some exams will be needed to see if it would be safe. Dr. Harris on the other hand said that you're ready. Your mind is ready, and you hope with all your heart that your body is too.
It takes too many days for Dr. Wright and the others to finally allow you to go. But only for two weeks, and whatever you'll be staying, it has to be near a hospital, just in case. Keanu said something about having a helicopter ready to take you back to New York if something happens, but you don't want to believe he'd do such a thing.
But when you're getting inside the plane, heading to Miami, you're cheerful. You're determined to make this trip amazing, for both of you. This is a mark, a rite of passage. From this day on, you'll forget what happened, you'll forget that you lost something. You can either suffer for the rest of your life for everything you lost or enjoy what you have. And you'll enjoy it because what you have right now is wonderful.

John Watson was the last person she’d been expecting to find outside her door at  7:00am that morning, yet there he was. Molly tugged on the hem of her dressing gown, grinning broadly at them awkward looking army doctor.
“Hi, John.”
He blinked, looking her up and down; he clearly hadn’t anticipated the almost giddy pathologist in front of him, especially after the phone call at Sherrinford. He cleared his throat, “um...I just wanted to check on you. After...”
“Eurus?” Molly said, noting the way John bowed his head and nodded slightly. She waved a hand, “don’t worry. Sherlock explained everything and I'm fine.”
“You’re...fine?” John replied skeptically, folding his arms, “just like that?”
"I had a drink,” Molly nodded at the remnants of a champagne bottle sitting on her coffee table. Her grin returned as she fiddled with the door handle, “I shagged someone.”
John didn’t quite know what to say but, thankfully, he didn’t have to. The previously unseen, and unnervingly half-naked, consutling detective Sherlock Holmes strolled into Molly’s kitchen, looking just as debauched as she did.
“I’m someone,” he clarified with a grin that matched Molly’s, before turning to rummage in her cupboards. Wide-eyed and more than a little shocked, John glanced at Molly who was smiling shyly, her fingers toying with the sleeves of her dressing gown.
“He loves me.”
"And she loves me,” Sherlock declared through a mouthful of biscuits, pointing at his pathologist. As uncomfortable as John was, he couldn’t help but smile at his friend’s newfound happiness. He couldn’t wait to tell Mary...

Andy sat up and rubbed his eyes as he watched Sharon bustling around the room, getting dressed and gathering her things like the miracle of life wasn't usually a long and agonizing process. "Uh...Sharon...Why don't you at least wait for Emily to call and see if she has an idea of how close she is?" He said sensibly. "It can take hours."
"Oh, really?" Sharon asked with feigned surprise as she pulled her hair up and secured it with a clip. "I had no idea!"
Andy ran his hand over his face, not in the mood to argue. He'd walked right into that one, and he knew it, but it seemed a little ridiculous for someone who was well aware of the fact that labor wasn't typically a quick process to be running around like a chicken with its head cut off in the middle of the night like she might miss something if she didn't leave right now. "I know you know that, obviously, but you might want to make sure you'll be able to get in. I know Emily said you probably wouldn't have any trouble after visiting hours, but that might depend upon who's working at the time. She does have to get approval, and you don't want to rush to the hospital just to sit in the waiting room for hours."
"I guess you're right..." Sharon knew there was no way she'd be going back to sleep, though, so she quickly finished getting herself ready and turned the lamp back off. "Go back to sleep. Call me when you get up in the morning." She kissed Andy's cheek and left the room. While she was waiting for Emily to call, she went to her and Emmett's bedroom to gather any last-minute items Emily might've forgotten. Her bag had been packed for over a month, but she still could've left behind some things she wanted. In their haste to leave, they'd left the damp sheets on the bed, so she stripped the bed and put the sheets in the washing machine. After packing a small bag with extra towels, hair ties, makeup wipes, her robe, and a few other things, she put fresh sheets on the bed and straightened up the bedroom and bathroom. Once that was done, she dug through the small fourth bedroom that had been taken over by baby stuff in the last few months. When she found the little rock 'n play that Emily was going to try for the baby to sleep in first, which her friends had sworn by, she set it up beside their bed and went back to the other bedroom to move the washed-and-waiting newborn clothes into Emily's and Emmett's room. After checking her phone for the thousandth time to make sure she hadn't missed a call and that it wasn't on vibrate, she gathered some newborn nightgowns, swaddles, pacifiers, and a couple of other things to have out and within easy reach for the first few days. With the baby stuff out and the cradle-like device beside the bed, the baby's pending arrival became a lot more real, and Sharon couldn't help but let out a tiny squeal as she looked around the room. She was going to have a new granddaughter under her roof in the next couple of days, and she couldn't be more excited about it.
When Emily finally called and confirmed that Sharon would be allowed to visit, she didn't waste any time getting to St. John's. She would just have to call the unit and use the Emergency Department entrance. Emily had debated between St. John's and Cedars, but one of the perks of having her first baby at 35 was that several of her friends had not only started having children, but that she had at least a couple of friends who had used one of the hospitals, and some had used both and could compare the pros and cons. Between her high school and college friends, she still had several in the LA area. "Mom, I told you not to speed!" Emily chastised when Sharon came in her room. "I just got the epidural, and they haven't even given me Pitocin yet. It's going to be a minute."
"I know, but I remember how frightened I was when I went into labor with you. Your dad was actually great during it, but I still wished Mimi could've been with me." Sharon put her things down, sat on Emily's bed, and brushed her hair back from her face. "If you want me to leave at any time, I will, and I'll understand."
"I am glad you're here. This hospital's visiting hours aren't as strict as Cedars, and that was a huge selling point," Emily admitted. Her friends had also told her that St. John's was just as good as Cedars, but that it wasn't as busy and felt more personal. "You wanted Mimi?! I can't imagine that. Not, like, in a bad way, it's just hard to think about you wanting your mom."
"I know, but I was more frightened and in more pain than I had ever been in my life. My hormones were all over the place, especially after you were born, and I don't think I'd ever been so happy to see my mom as when she got to LA the day we brought you home."
"Em, you're having a contraction," Emmett interrupted.
Emily shrugged. "Could've fooled me. This epidural is no joke. I can't even feel my feet."
Sharon got up and stood beside Emmett. He was watching a machine that was hooked up to Emily. "How can you tell? That shows when she's having a contraction?"
Emmett nodded and pointed at the screen, explaining to Sharon what one of the nurses had told him about what was on the screen. Once she understood what she was looking at, she watched it for a few more minutes before unpacking the extra things she'd brought for Emily and the baby and putting them with their other things.
"Oh, thanks, Mom, I meant to grab that stuff before we left," Emily said as she watched Sharon unpack.
"You're welcome. So, what happened? Were you having contractions at all last night, or did you just wake up and realize your water had broken, or what?"
"I felt fine last night, but I woke up at about midnight with a contraction. They weren't that regular and didn't hurt too bad, so I just read for a while. Emmett woke up a couple of hours after I did and was begging me to go to the hospital, but then my water broke not long after that."
Sharon nodded. "How much have you dilated?"
"Six centimeters. I thought the last contraction I had before I got the epidural was going to kill me...Did you have epidurals with us?" Emily winced. "I can't imagine doing this without being numb from the neck down."
"I didn't with you. I think they were pretty common by then, but no one really talked about childbirth to one another like they do now, so I didn't know much about them. By the time I couldn't take it anymore and asked for one, it was too late, because you were about to be born." Sharon gave Emily a wry smile. "With Ricky, I asked for one the second we got to the hospital. My nurse forgot to give me a catheter, and I didn't know to expect one, so I didn't ask. I guess I didn't really think about not being able to feel anything. I wanted to die when I peed all over Dr. Hughes. I only saw him once or twice before Ricky was close to finally deciding to come out, but he was the lucky one who was there at the time." Sharon's face flushed when she remembered Emmett was in the room. He was still glued to the screen that was monitoring Emily's contractions. "Sorry, Emmett. You're so quiet, I almost forgot you were over there."
Emmett shrugged. "That's not even close to the most disgusting thing I've heard since we got here. You're good."
Andy stopped by on his way to work soon after 8:00 that morning and placed a vase of flowers on a table before kissing Emily on the cheek.
"Thanks, Andy. They're beautiful."
"It was the best I could find at 8:00 in the morning," he said apologetically. "How are you feeling?"
"Blissfully numb."
"I imagine that's a good thing."
Sharon was back in front of the contraction monitor, peering closely at the screen and following the measurements with her finger. She was oblivious to Andy's arrival, despite the fact that she'd talked to him on the phone less than an hour ago and knew he was stopping by. Emily got an ice chip from the bowl beside her bed and pelted it at Sharon. "Hey, Dr. Quinn. We have a visitor." She rolled her eyes at Andy. "Mom and Emmett are obsessed with that contraction thing. I couldn't care less whether I'm having one, but they think they have to tell me every time."
Andy nodded. "That sounds about right."
Sharon jumped when the ice hit her cheek. "Wha—Emily—oh, hi, honey."
Emily's doctor came in to check her progress then, so Sharon and Andy stepped out into the hall. He had examined Emily more often than he normally would have during labor because of her 'advanced maternal age.' "I thought her doctor was a woman," Andy whispered as they left the room.
"She is, but Dr. Jensen was the one on call in her office when she went into labor," Sharon explained.
"Is he really a doctor?! He looks like he's twelve! We've got to find someone who's been out of medical school longer than two days—"
"Andy, he's a great doctor," Sharon said, looking amused. "Emily had to have an appointment with all of the obstetricians in the practice, since there was a possibility of someone besides her own doctor delivering the baby. She really liked him."
"But how long could he have been doing this?! I'm sorry if I'm a little concerned about having Doogie Howser deliver my granddaughter!"
"My god, Andy, would you rather do it yourself?"
"I've probably delivered more babies than he has!" With being in patrol for a few years when they started out, both Andy and Sharon had delivered a couple of babies, but the necessity for that had been rare for both of them. "He's probably too caught up in some hospital romance to even focus on Emily! What, you're the one who made me start watching Grey's Anatomy! This place is a romance war zone!" Andy said after Sharon gave him an odd look.
A few minutes later, they were allowed back in the room. "I'm serious, Sharon, Em needs a more experienced doctor! All you've talked about is how this isn't a typical delivery, with—"
"Andy, if the next thing out of your mouth has anything to do with my age, you're getting the ice," Emily warned, holding up the bowl of ice chips.
"I don't recommend it. She has a pretty good arm," Sharon advised.
"Okay, but seriously, can't you ask for someone who's delivered more than five babies before?!"
"I've actually delivered over a thousand," Dr. Jensen informed him, coming back in the room to get something he'd forgotten. He gave Andy a reassuring smile. "Don't worry. I'm not as young as I look, and I'm perfectly qualified." A horrified expression came over Andy's face when the doctor came back in, and Sharon, Emily, and Emmett burst into laughter.
