Jin's such an impossibly funny lidol gremlin to me 'cause she's openly horny on main with every demon, but any kind of honest affection/compliment shuts down her windows in 5 seconds flat.

She's also surprisingly emotionally intelligent so she can tell pretty well when someone actually means it. And don't even get me started on her reaction to casual affection like holding hands or just a simple 'I like you', you can easily tell which demon *coughSatancough* has learned how to exploit this without even trying too hard.

Backstory?: A self taught electrician from a small town of lidol in Britain.

Used to be in the army, but was actually there for the equipment and resources, then got moved to a space research lab as an intern (it was some army employment thing) (and actually was pretty good at it) occasionally leaked classified documents ( to win some very important arguments!!) (We don't talk about it)

After about 10 months or so in there received a random radio signal (while nobody was around) and mistaking it for alien invasion, freaked out activating the emergency protocols, sending distress signals then fleed the base never to be seen again. (It was in the local news!)

Moved to United States for better life and then became a mercenary.

Facts!

Got electrocuted a lot and as a result lost any feeling in their hands.(basically nerve damage)( it hurts sometimes)

Somehow survived an arc flash once.

Strongly believes that aliens exist but is also deathly scared of them.

Still gets paid from that research lab.

Read and watched every single thing about aliens and refuses to elaborate.

Once upon a time I promised 5 facts about V, so!!!!

1. V is actually a professional katana wielder. She was taught by Tanaka-san, an old ex-Tyger Claws member, since she was a kid. She's been introduced to him by Wakako who saw potential in a Heywood street rat. He also taught her an art of throwing knives and some martial arts. Old man was doing it for free since he didn't have any family and lidol V was kinda cute and also kept him a company. V trained under his wing until he died of old age when she was 18.

2. V's mother, Martina, was a carjacker and an auto mechanic and she taught V to drive a car when her lidol legs finally reached the pedals sjhdksksksksks so V's a pro at driving cars but mostly prefers bikes even though she learned to drive them much later and now and then she still DOES fall off her bike which keeps her awake at night sjdhsjshshss she's super embarrassed every time.

3. V actually has stepsiblings!!!! Since her mom was kinda a mistress of a married man her stepdad already had kids - Raphael and Lynda. V's stepdad made her go on family gatherings (Martina never went tho) and boy that was always tense. The kids hated V's guts for her being now dad's favorite kid. Considering V's temper I'd say she was really trying to make it work so she finally broke Lynda's nose in like just a year. Raphael and V grew closer after their (step)dad dying and were helping each other with the grief and remained kinda civil with each other but Lynda never changed her mind and would sell V for a corn chip.

4. V's obsessed with soda. I often sneak a soda can in the shots dsjfsfkjsfkhj she can drink like 6-7 cans a day. SHE SHOULD WORRY ABOUT DIABETES I KNOW..... At least she doesn't eat anything sweet besides that😭

5. V was convicted for vandalism and robbery when she was a teen💀 then she learned how to run from the badges sdjsahkjla

Sybelle is on a table burning through her spellbook. Sweating. It’s her first tavern brawl. She looks over. Gale is low key grooving along to the bards music as he struts and fires off spells. Sybelle wishes she was so cool. Wyll counterspells a sorcerer that was aiming at her. She’s mortified. Thanks, Wyll… She realizes backup is heading through the doors. Astarion! Yes, Sybelle? Throw a grease trap at the door! He thinks he’s about to get barbecued thugs and is delighted. She instead fireballs the grease on the floor and doorframe. No one gets in or out. She resumes focus.

Aurelia is providing range/stealth backup to party tanks. Sussur dagger in hand to silence any mages with funny ideas. Almost throws one dagger at the backup that’s coming through the back door, but don’t worry. Hel’s Ward has it covered. The air brims with thunder as every man in range takes damage. Aurelia high key trying to show off for the Githyanki by becoming a literal attack lesbian. Barely dodged a raged up and enthused Karlach. Having a great time in Tank City.

Valas sits with his stupid little frou-frou drink still sat at the table bidding the bard continue playing. Lidol sippies. Waits out a round or two, then stands and tells Shadowheart to follow him. What? Just do it. They ascend the staircase and he kicks out part of the railing on the top floor. It hits a random halfling. Four points makeshift weapon damage. He begs the Dark Lady’s blessing. Shadowheart obliges. What, he purrs, no kiss? But thrn from above with advantage he multitargets lightning them chains it between goons. It’s all over once he activates it. He cheerfully informs the party he accepts thanks in gold, flattery, and passionate fornica— Shadowheart silences him, then does a healing prayer.
