So if steeljaw and sharpclaw had a good enough relationship to name a muppy after her, and Steeljaw and Phantomjaw have a rocky relationship, how are Phantomjaw and sharpclaw as siblings?

Phantom and Sharpclaw just don't interact when they're placed in the same room. Sharpclaw most definitely has a mod in her audio receptors that can deafen Phantom's voice.

She takes that Ignoring Bullies thing quite literally, at least where Phantom is concerned.

Jacob vs your cat

You and Jacob are in the living room, both comfortably doing something for yourself. The pleasant silence is only filled by the rain drumming against the windows and the howling of the wind around the small apartment.

Jacob had pulled one the comfortable chair towards the coffee table and was now bend over some paperwork, playing with his pen, somehow unable to leave it in one place for longer than a minute. Currently it was balance on his upper lip. You’re sprawled across the couch reading a book when you notice your cat, Muppet, walk in from the bedroom. She blinks slowly, her eyes sort of squinting and one of those funny cat smiles on her face.

Muppet walks into the small living room area and looks around for a moment, clearly contemplating where she’s going to nap next. Warily she eyes Jacob over the coffee table, Jacob eyeing her back just as warily.

The three of you have been living together for almost two months and still the cat and the assassin didn’t seem to get along. You understood the careful behaviour coming for Muppet, you had adopted her from the streets and didn’t know what sort of life she had before you took her in. Jacob too came from the streets, quite literally falling into your apartment. But he was actually capable of speech so you knew there were no traumatic events involving cats in his past.

You sigh, coming to the conclusion that is was most likely just a case of mutual distrust. These living conditions were new to all of you and eventually both of them would come to terms with it.

Muppet saunters around the coffee table eyeing one of the empty chair, then looks at Jacob. He sits back a little like he is trying to make space for her to jump in his lap. She decides against it and instead moves past him toward the couch where you are.

‘Hello Muppy.’ You greet her with a stroke over the head, she leans into it, closes her eyes and purrs, enjoying your attention. Swiftly she hops onto the couch and waddles onto you abdomen. She turns around a few times kneading your flesh like you’re a pillow she is trying get comfortable on. She almost settles down when she decides that it is not good enough, gets up again and turns to face you, kneading her way up toward you chest. You can see her coming but for some reason it always takes you by surprise when she mindlessly stands on one of your boobs, leaning on it with her weight. You huff, slightly uncomfortable.

‘Hey,’ Both you and Muppet turn to look at Jacob, still sitting in his chair looking at you on the couch. ‘That’s my job, cat.’ You manage a huffy laugh as Muppet, seemingly unaffected by Jacobs words, continues kneading your chest. ‘I’m warning you...’ You’re giggling now, both because of Jacob trying to argue with a cat and because Muppet is now vigorously purring, rubbing her head on your face.

‘Alright, that’s it.’ Jacob gets up from his chair and comes over to the couch. One hand on the cushion beneath you, the other leaning on the headrest he lower himself towards you. He buries his face in Muppet s back, which she arcs trying to get away form the weird human. Finally when she realises that she can’t go any lower she jumps out away from you, settling in the windowsill and start washing herself.

Jacob’s face lands in your chest and he sighs contently. ‘That’ll teach her.’ All you can do is laugh at his silly behaviour. He is warm and heavy against you as his body settles between your legs. ‘Should I knead you chest and give you love head buds too?’ he smirks and you pull your fingers through his hair. ‘Will you purr as well?’ you ask smiling. ‘Oh, most definitely’ He purrs against your lips as he leans in for a kiss.
