Hello! May request headcanons of Leona and Octavinelle students (separately) react to fem reader having Hanahaki Disease because of them, but she never tells them directly that they're the cause of it? Have a nice day!
Blood Stained Blooms
Ara? What do we have here now 🧐. I’m joking sjsjsj angst is my go to and you hit the spot. Tag some Lion and Octavinelle stans perhaps~?
⚠️ TW: Mentions of blood and vomiting.
When words are left unsaid...
Tumblr media
Honestly, he never expected someone with so much spunk as you to just...reel over to the floor choking out bloody flora that could’ve easily been fitting with the greenery at the botanical garden he naps at.
And at the same time, Leona knew that...people with strong fronts have a tender foundation. What do you think he is? Well it wasn’t like he bothered hiding his shortcomings, it just so happened that he never gave a care for what people think of him.
That...would’ve been the usual. What is unusual however is you vomiting on the ground pathetically clutching your chest gasping for dear oxygen. Call it what you will, instinct, concern, desire, it didn’t matter to him what the hell he was truly feeling because the next thing he knew, he was already kneeling next to you brows furrowed whilst his calloused hand placed itself on your back.
He could feel it, with the way your shoulder blades tensed and relaxed at an unnatural rate under his touch while Blood continued to trickle down- The lion beastman was no fool either. Something to this degree isn’t at its early stages is it? He was no doctor but...he felt a tinge in his chest at the thought of someone just suddenly dropping dead. It was it because it’s you who knows…
The way you weakly smiled at him as you ushered him with a blood stained hand wasn’t something that would calm him down, it might’ve made him even more spurred. Gritting his teeth his ear twitched. Before standing up and grumbling to himself.
“Oi herbavour- what the hell is that-“ “A-ah..Leona..”
Leona is Leona, the lonely second prince that forgot his title whenever he was with you, but he didn’t knew how to handle this. How to handle the thought of you in a gruesome state- ah...he accidentally stepped on a flower….Ruggie would later be ordered to fetch whatever information he can manage to attain about the hellish illness.
...His mind is truly in uproar...
Tumblr media
It was all too sudden, even for him. One minute you two were walking side by side in the corridors discussing a possible deal and the next thing he knew, eyes locked for a split second when he saw the sudden struck of immense pain on your expression before falling to your knees on the carpet and spewing out…
Azul, was truly ambushed with so many unwanted emotions, his usually calculative mind didn’t know where to focus on, your pain the blood spewing out or the cruelly beautiful flowers that landed on the stained carpet.
His sharp posture diminished shaking his head before finally making a move, a childish reaction but he took out his own cleanly pressed handkerchief and offering it to you. So what if it’d get stained with your blood? He’d rather clean out stains than to see you reeling on the ground!
Once your coughing dies down the octavinelle dorm leader would debate whether to ask or comfort. On one hand he knew that being double weighted by pain and interrogation isn’t good but on the other hand- he wanted to know what the hell you’ve been going through and he wanted to know ASAP.
Look the variety of clients he’s had to deal with never had a near death situation so he wasn’t sure if this was even within his prowess- and if he can’t help you then his vast network of connections should help, it has to help it has to. That’s what he’d be telling to himself unbeknownst to him that you’ve been weakly calling out to him- a-ah yes?
“Dear..you-“ “C’mon we’ll be late..I-I think we can grab some water on the way”
In the end he opted for the former, gently helping you back up on your feet and already concucting his next course of action, he’d later find out the cruel disease...he wasn’t the one having flowers bloom in his lungs so why did his chest wince…?
...You were far too precious for him to let go of...
Tumblr media
It was- not part of his predictions, far from within his spectrum of deductions even.
Taking you out for a hike to admire and study the natural specimens Mother Nature has to offer in the land forms near Night Raven college was supposed to be...not bloody.
As much as of a sucker the Vice dorm leader is for the unexpected. This particular instance did not please him in the slightest. He grew and went about keeping his true feelings under an eerily serene exterior, this situation wasn’t an exception.
But he had to wonder wether his forced calmness helped you or made it worse, the way your eyes met his heterochromatic gaze just- the way the pain doubled in your gaze when you saw an eerily calm ocean in his eyes was what you recieved but why does it hurt even more..why does it feel like he doesn’t care when he-
You didn’t had time to even complain about something seemingly insignificant as that- the flowers that fell from your mouth along with spurts of blood like a crimson waterfall was taking up you train of thought. You need air- oxygen was taken for granted huh...like how the calmer eel twin took you for granted.
“J-jade...don’t think much about it..” “...as you wish..”
Honestly, just like how he handles other dire situations, he’ll calmly handle you to the bare minimum- but that isnt to say he isn’t worried, because he is...more than he’d like to admit. He’s seen how cruel life can be but when it comes to you...he never actually considered it. So expect him to frequent the library more rather than taking hikes. Because just like how he handles other situations...it’s better to find the source, and when he does...
...He’ll be even more diligent, unbeknownst to you...
Tumblr media
Under the bleachers- hey...is that- Koebi-chan did you spill some juice? Ehehe lemme grab you an extra shir-...that smell...
What’s that in your mouth? He thought you were just snacking on something with strawberry jam but that...land dwellers don’t usually eat flowers with jam now do they? Poor Floyd...denial off the bat. But his body already began to move on its own, taking long strides towards your shuddering form as he grasped your shoulders to steady you.
He gulped down whatever lump hitched in his throat only for nothing to come out, for once floyd actually took the time to observe. The other always told him he was too reckless, he never cared since it adds to the thrill but- shrimpy choking out fully bloomed floranstained crimson isn’t thrilling at all. He doesn’t like this he doesn’t think this is fun- get youre pranking him right?..right?
What would the others do- no he doesn’t have time to think like the others he’s the only one with you now- he should carry you to the infirmary ye that’s good, good job floyd just slowly carry them and- he ran faster than for any errand he’s had to do. The infirmary was his only destination. Wether others stared at his rare expression of seriousness or the writhing person in his arms. It didn’t matter, those useless guppies don’t matter.
He demanded you to be treated, without even thinking wether whatever made shrimpy like this can even be cured in the first place. How would he even know? He’d know when the staff informs him, when they inform him how they can only keep the symptoms at bay but not fully cure the illness. This pest of a decease was making his shrimpy suffer and you’re telling him no one can do anything about it? WHAT TYPE OF A DAMNED DECEASE IS THIS-
“This ain’t fair! What the hell is-“ “F..Floyd hey...it alright.”
Suffice it to say he doesn’t take the news well, this was such an annoying thing to have, all for love? Who the hell wouldn’t love shrimpy!? Shrimpy is shrimpy and they are fun! Goodness Floyd...he only calms down when the teen in the infirmary bed ushers him close with a shaky hand...
...He despises the situation...

Prompt: Can’t go home
Relationship: Jon/Martin/Tim/Sasha
Warnings: food, Jon just generally being a bit sad? Idk, if there’s something you want tagged, feel free to tell me

If you liked it, please reblog
Jon woke up that morning with a strangled gasp, the afterimage of his dreams still burned into the back of his eyelids, keeping him from falling back to sleep. He rolled over, expecting to find the comforting warmth of one of his partners to keep him company in the lonely hours of an early day. Instead, what greeted him was the cold grey wall of Georgie’s guest room. It didn’t take long after that for the memories to flow back.
Three days. He really should stop expecting them to be here at this point.
They’re not here, they can’t be here, and he can’t go home, not for a long while, not till the police stop suspecting him for a murder he didn’t commit.
He sighed, rolling over onto his back when aches started running up his side. He stared up at the off-white popcorn ceiling, trying not to think of how Tim was probably sprawled out over Martin and Sasha, stealing most of the blankets and driving his sharp elbows into their sides. He tried not to miss Sasha’s warmth against his side and the sound of Martin’s soft snores. He always used to complain about their sleeping arrangements, but now he would do anything to be back in that bed.
He groaned and rolled over a few more times, trying in vain to find a position that was comfortable enough to attempt sleep again, not that that would go very well, with the nightmares plaguing him as soon as he closed his eyes.
Eventually, he conceded and got out of bed, grabbing his cane from the wall and taking a moment to work the stiffness out of his limbs. He limped into the kitchen and smiled at the Admiral when he raised his head sleepily. He wondered if he could convince the others to get a cat when he got home. If he ever got home.
The smile slipped off his face and he turned to open the curtains, letting in the greyish light of an early dawn. The Admiral mewled plaintively at his feet, pushing against him. He bent down carefully to run his fingers along the cat’s back, closing his eyes for a moment and just letting the feeling ground him.
He straightened and made his way over to the cramped kitchen, intent on making himself a small breakfast to keep him company whilst he waited for the world to wake up. He reached towards the cabinet over the sink, and for a moment expected their mismatched collection of mugs with ridiculous quotes and terrible puns. He shouldn’t have felt the disappointment he did when instead it was just a shelf of plain white cups.
He shut the cabinet door a little more forcefully than strictly necessary, breathing deeply against the sudden swell of emotion in his throat.
In the scope of all that had happened to him, this should have been minor, this should have been fine. It was just Georgie, the person he had used to love, the person he still cared for. And his partners were really just a phone call away.
So why then, did it feel like he was breaking? Why did every little reminder this wasn’t his home tear something apart deep in his gut?
Home had always been his safety net, and now, he had nowhere to fall.
And now he just had to sit here, stare at the blank walls and hope the police would finally realise he hadn’t been the one to kill jurgen Leitner. Every day that hope felt a bit further away.
He opened the group chat he shared with the others. There were no new messages, of course not, none of them were awake yet. Six am was a bit early even for Tim. He scrolled back to their conversation from last night.
A picture of Tim grinning into the camera while a pot bubbles over behind him.
Sasha: Tim’s cooking tonight, send help
Martin: If the house burns down or he poisons us, I want you to know I love you
Jon: I’m sure it won’t come to that.
He scrolls back down to the bottom of the chat, a small smile on his face at the easy conversation of last night. It wasn’t the same as being there with them, but it was a small comfort.
The three dots that signalled someone was typing popped up on his screen and he noted with surprise Sasha was already online.
Sasha: Youre up early
Jon: I could say the same for you.
Sasha: Needed to pee
Jon: Yes, I suppose that makes sense.
Sasha: So what’s your excuse
Jon: My back hurts again.
Sasha: :(
Sasha: And is that the only reason?
Jon: No
Jon: I miss you.
Sasha: Darling
Jon: I’m alright, I just wish I could see you
Jon: In person that is.
Sasha: We could come over?
Jon: I don’t think that’s wise.
Sasha: Yeah, i guess
Sasha: We miss you too
A swarm of emotions bubbled up in Jon’s throat at the words, threatening to spill over in a mess of heartache and sorrow and fear. They press against the bounds of his throat, choking him, filling him with so many feelings he could not even begin to parse them out. He just wanted to go home.
He swallows it down, tucks the whole mess into a corner of his mind and puts down his phone. He doesn’t want to bother Sasha, or any of the others. He’s already put so much on them, dragged them into the fear and confusion that was the archives, he had no right to bother them with more.
And he knew he was just being dramatic, he was a grown man, he should be able to handle being away from home for a while. He just needed to get himself together, focus on the next step.
He picked up a stack of statements from the coffee table, slipping on his glasses and burying himself in the comforting rhythm of paper and pen. At least this was something he still controlled, still knew how to do.
Georgie appeared at some point, giving him a disapproving glance to find him working so early and coraling him into eating breakfast with her. She can’t stay long after that, and both Jon and the Admiral watch her leave with the same forlorn air.
Jon looked up from his work as a heavy knock resounded from the front door. His first thought was that it was Georgie, back from her errands early. But she would just have let herself in, and Jon knew for certain she had her key with her when she left.
And who did that leave? The police? Some avatar coming to settle a score? Gertrude's killer finally come to finish the job?
Every option was bad, and every option would not let a flimsy door stop them. He stood up, walked into the kitchen as calmly as he could with dread and paranoia hanging over him like a dark cloud and grabbed the largest knife he could find. The knock came again, and he could hear indistinct whispering from behind the door.
Multiple people then. That wasn’t good for his chances. He gripped the knife just a little bit tighter.
“Hey boss, open up,” came a familiar voice, one he used to hear rough and sleepy in the mornings and soft and loving in the evenings. His heart brightened in a momentary thrill at the thought of his partners, or at least, one of them, being on the other side of that door, so close to him again after all those days without them. And all he had to do was open up that door and pull them into his arms once more.
That thrill was almost immediately dampened again as he realized they should not be here. It was why he had left in the first place. They were too connected to him, too wrapped up in his messy web of conspiracy and paranoia. If the police saw them here, if Elias saw them here, they would be leading all of it right to Georgie’s doorstep.
“You’re not supposed to be here,” He told the door and tried not to think of the warm hands behind it.
“We’re not supposed to do a lot of things,” Came Sasha’s amused voice.
“Like date each other,” Tim filled in, “But here we are, so you going to let us in now?”
“No, the police could find out, and you might get Georgie in trouble and there’s just so many reasons this is a bad idea.”
“Jon please, we’re worried about you, Georgie said you weren’t doing well,” Martin said softly
Jon sat down on the couch heavily, knees protesting from standing up too long. He stared at the door.
“And standing out here is probably a lot more risky than being in the apartment, so best let us in.”
He sighed. You never could argue with Sasha’s logic. The others looked up victoriously when he finally unlocked the door.
“There he is!” Tim crowed, as Sasha and Martin offered him a warm smile while bustling into the apartment, both laden with grocery bags. Sasha pressed a light kiss to his forehead as she passed and he tried not to start crying at the feeling.
“You have to leave,” He said as he shut the door, “You’re not supposed to be here.”
Martin and Sasha didn’t look up from where they were unloading piles of vegetables and snacks from their bags.
“What? No, hey guys, I missed you, happy to see you all?” Tim complained as he draped himself over Jon’s back. Jon scowled at him.
“Jon, stop being stubborn, we’ve all been through hell the past few weeks, and right now we just want to be here to keep you company,” Martin said in that firm yet gentle voice of his.
“You really shouldn’t be alone after all that,” Sasha said as she dumped out a tupperware container into a pot.
“I’m not alone,” Jon said grumpily, “I have the Admiral.” Though he had apparently decided to make himself scarce for the time being. Jon cursed him for the betrayal.
“Are you saying you prefer the company of a cat to ours?” Tim asked, pulling them both back onto the couch and settling a blanket over them.
“Maybe,” Jon pouted, burrowing into Tim’s chest despite the fact that he was still upset with them, “He doesn’t uselessly endanger everyone to come give me cuddles.”
“Well we’re here now, and we’re not leaving till you feel better.”
“And admit it, you’re happy we’re here,” Martin said, apparently finishing up with his preparations in the kitchen and curling up next to Jon on the couch.
Jon did not want to admit it, but something warm and content curled up in his stomach, the warm feeling of home returning to his bones. A warm and savoury smell drifted through the room, clearly coming from whatever Sasha was warming up on the stove.
This apartement did not look like home in the slightest, the walls and ceiling all wrong, the furniture hard and uncomfortable and unfamiliar. But with all of them here, and that familiar smell of soup and Tim’s conditioner surrounding him, it wasn’t all that bad.
Sasha sat down on his other side, handing everyone a bowl of soup and giving Jon a gentle kiss on his knuckles. Martin pressed one to his temple and Tim just ruffled his hair fondly.
A few words were exchanged between them, but Jon didn’t bother paying too much attention. He knew he should still be angry, or at least have a firm conversation with them on what they had agreed on. But not now, not when they were here and he was home and for a moment he could forget all about Leitner and the institute and just be safe.

I managed to stay awake this time, but boy! I’m so sleepy! lol......It’s getting closer and closer to where I leave off in my writing now.....yikes! Please enjoy!
WHILE SHE’S IN THERE
So! You finally did it? You finally let loose, didn’t you?
Oh so there you are! Yes I did and I do feel so much better for it! I got to love her the way I wanted to and the way it should’ve been from the beginning!
That’s the way it was but you were too scared to admit it.
Whatever! I feel so much freer now! My little Princess! Rod has her now, but for a brief moment, she was all mine! I got to tell her and show her how much she means to me.
You were doing this mainly for that baby though.
I thought so too, but now I’m not so sure! I mean, of course we were trying for that but I think it’s proven true that I needed to get things off my chest. She has told me that she loves me and I’ve seen it in the way she acts around me. I loved her too but I had so many hang ups about telling her all of it.
Russ’ visit helped you, didn’t it? He always knows what to say and do!
Yes, he does. He said that I looked so much happier and I was thrilled to see him. I felt like I was even freer to love him now that I finally came out of hiding.
How so?
For so long, I’ve just felt I had to keep my guard up. I had to be sure I didn’t look at Maxey wrong, especially in front of Russ. I played off his comments about how I saw her. I had convinced myself that I couldn’t have both of them. Only one or the other and he was my choice, but I couldn’t totally ignore her! I was conflicted on how to handle things.
I told you that you had complicated things.
I know, you did! I can’t believe that it’s OK. I love her as much as I can any woman but I love him even more! She seems to understand that though. She’s not trying to make me choose and he’s known all along. Alejandro was right! I am the luckiest guy in the universe but it’s both of them, not just her!
Listen at you! You’re an excited little boy!
Yes, I am! I truly am so excited and happy but mostly, I can’t believe my luck! Hey! There’s that knock, but I thought it would be too early for him! I get up and yes, it’s Alejandro but not his uniform or his cart.
“Good morning, sir. Since you’re leaving us today, I brought a smaller snack to see you off. Hope you don’t mind!”
“Not at all but isn’t this a bit early?”
“Well, I wanted to be sure I got to see you both one last time. I want to thank you for yesterday. I got one of my best memories ever and you made that possible.”
“All I did was leave her alone for a few hours.”
“And I’m grateful. Here’s your little snack…”
He hands me a bag. I open it to find two croissants with ham and cheese! This looks expensive! “Are you sure about this? I mean we’re both getting ready to go back to work.”
“Yes, but……oh does that mean she’s awake?” As he gets that out, we hear the bathroom door.
“Alejandro? You’re here early, aren’t you? You’re out of your uniform too.” She comes and gives him another hug.
He blushes and nods his head towards me. “I know. It’s my day off but I wanted to see the two of you off, so I brought you a little snack this morning.” She turns to see me eating my croissant. Her whole face shines!
“Oh Alejandro! You shouldn’t have! Thank you so much!” She hugs him again, then takes the bag out my hands. She picks hers up and bites into it. “This is so good!” A moment of pure ecstasy on her face. He’s watching her like a hawk and blushes at her comment.
“Yes, thank you, Alejandro, for thinking of us.” I tell him.
“No problem! I will miss both of you!” He comes to shake my hand but he hugs her from behind. The huge smile on his face, this guy does think an awful lot of her but she has that effect on people. She turns and gently touches his face with cheese on her chin. He laughs and takes a napkin from the bag to wipe her face off. I think he just got another memory there.
“Thank you.” She blushes. He smiles again.
“I better go! Told the family I would run errands, but thank you both for coming and I hope you enjoyed your stay!” We both wave to him and he backs his way out of our room. Guess he wanted to look at her as long as possible.
“That was so nice of him to do that. These things are so good! Does Russ have such things?” I laugh.
“Russ can make anything!”
“Oh I hope he can make these! Though, you’re right! Anything he makes is wonderful!”
I put my arms around her. Enjoy this until you hand her back to Rod! She smiles up to me, then lays her head on my chest. “I hate to break this up, but I better get ready myself now.” She squeezes me tight. I have to smile because in that gesture I feel her struggling to let me go. With Alejandro, she was friendly and sweet. With me, she doesn’t want this to come to any end. There’s an immediate need in her grip on me. I just hold her then tenderly break apart from her. She tries to smile but I feel that sadness again. Darling, we’re not going to separate! I’ll do my best to see that never happens to us!
