I like to think I’ve evolved past all my juvenile parasocialism and then halsey impersonates björk and suddenly my suicide is postponed
#can I confess something & shatter whatever image y’all have of me in your heads#I used to run a halsey fanpage on instagram from like 2014-2018. there were other artists but predominately halsey#there’s just an eternal fondness there I listen to all her releases my ass bought cinema tickets to the iichliwp premiere#she was the first to really shape my penchant for female artists w distinctive & often derided voices#like joanna newsom or grimes or heyyy björk!!! and despite me not enjoying maybe half of her discography she’s still there in my heart#and björk is of course deeplyyy beloved to me one of my favourite & most respected artists in the world. I’m smiling so genuinely at it#exposing my age here perhaps. I turn 23 next month#delete later
