On the one hand: Catra’s belts are kind of silly. She’s always in some kind of leggings/bodysuit situation, they’re not holding up her pants lol. (Also how are they staying in place?? Does the bodysuit have belt loops we just don’t see?) The little Horde logo on one of the belts isn’t necessary either. They’re purely decorative.

From an outside-the-show perspective I realize it’s just to make her look cool. Which is…also probably the reason Catra herself would give lol. (That, and she does attach things to them—the whip, that taser thing.)

But ALSO there’s no getting around the fact that the belts are extremely convenient for cosplaying—that’s what we attached the tail to! And it’s so rare for a random bit of otherwise-impractical character design to be useful to cosplayers!

Made using some second hand pieces. Top, badges, belts amd mask made from scratch by me tho. I also made the tail and ears myself as well. My first time working with fur!
