#1) tumblr people do not like golf but 2) lexi thompson performance this week very significant in women's golf (and women's sports)#lexi thompson did not make the cut but to be fair tiger woods and other pga champions also do not make many cuts#she is not even high in the lpga rolex world ranking.....if you put the top 50 lpga in pga i think several can make the cut#i am ranting because always so many male amateur golfers say like 'i can beat lpga players so easy because i have more yardage'#1) lpga players avg distance is ~250 yds vs male scratch golfer distance ~ 240-260 yrds 2) they hit this yrdge with#with a pinpoint accuracy MORE ACCURATE than pga players....lpga courses are really narrow#when i was competing in internationally i hit avg 240yds but i lose still to girls w/ smaller distance & very very good accuracy#non-golf people do not understand how hard accuracy in golf#you must fight against wind spd grass type slope angle temperature and mercury must be in retrogade and your mom must be pisces#i always tell players who ask me coaching tips: hitting ball very hard is easy๏ผbut accuracy need many years of practise#anyway#i hope they put again lpga players in pga tournaments so men amateurs can stop thinking they are better than lpga professional
