Love how both of my parents are physically disabled, to the point of inability to do many daily tasks, but neither of them will admit it because that would go against their religion. So instead they make it literally everyone else's problem 😒

#personal #ironically i am also physically disabled #and neither of them know #bc i dont trust them to be respectful about it #or even believe me for that matter #even though i am diagnosed and medicated lol #my father has a severe [possibly fatal] lung diseas #but still pushes his body way past its breaking point to do stupid shit #like mowing the lawn #when they can absolutely pay for that now #my mother has muscular and nerve damage #consequences of west nile and viral meningitis #which she never did any medical upkeep for #since she got out of rehab/the hospital #she instead relies on a dizzying array of “snake-oil”-like products to try and combat it #none of them do #in fact #they have caused SEVERE neurological damage #she is slipping into a delusion-dissociative state #where she seems incapable of acknowledging and even perceiving reality #im having so much fun living at home 😶#i definitely dont fear for my safety every minute im here 😶#watch tumblr screw up the tag order again
