Ever since I Somewhat figured out part of the story with Alec's parents, I just love putting his mom in Situations in AUs where Alec and Ray is separated or different species but Seph's family is still human or with Ray. Like, Alec mermaid AU where Mermaid Alec's upper body looking more human like and also him knowing a lot about the human world is cuz of the fact that his mom is a human who pulled a merman after running away from home.
