It's starting to look like this Damian Hurley thing has gotten even more peculiar. The photo he posted on his IG implying it was Liam...clearly wasn't Liam. Liam doesn't have a cleft in his chin. He ended up deleting the photo after people started pointing out that fact. Someone said his film that's out now..he directed his mother in a thriller...is absolutely flopping. It kind of looks like he was possibly using Liam and the funeral for PR? Which would mean Kate allowed it??

What a fucking weirdo. As for Kate, 🤷🏻‍♀️ She may have thought he was being a good friend. I have no idea. I don’t really care to dig into her nonsense.

Joffrey was attached to Daemon by the hip, barely leaving him, and Harwin had to respect that.
In one thing Rhaenyra's new husband was right, small children were very needy when sick, and Joffrey was just seven. He didn't understand Harwin was just as much his father as Daemon and Laenor were!
So he kept his distance from him and spent his day with the other boys. Jace and Luke showed him the rest of the estate, and he was surprised at how fancy and nice it was. Rhaenyra really had a whole condo for her family. There was a tennis court, a large pool - in a gated area, of course - and even a sauna, beyond a few other things.
Well, the Targaryens were loaded, after all, he shouldn't be surprised.
When the night came, he left the boys to their routines, his mind moving back to what Jace has spoken about Rhaenyra.
Harwin knew Rhaenyra.
Nine years had taught him a lot about her. They'd been through many crises together.
She always tried to handle her feeling on her own, hiding them to spare others from her pain.
He glanced at the door of the kitchen, finding Daemon cleaning it, and moved to the stairs.
She had excused herself to go put the smallest kids to bed, maybe she was still there.
Rhaenyra also had a little different detail that he adored. Her little songs, little lullabies.
He found out she was pregnant with Luke when she was singing her own rendition of "One is the loneliest number" saying two is "Perfect company", setting Jace to bed.
So he passed the nursery, where the youngest boy - Viserys - still slept in his crib, and stopped by the side of the next door, hearing her voice.
"Surrender is just a word until you try it out and see how hard it is to hurt with someone else around," she sang, swinging the boy slowly. "I'm the worst I've ever been, afraid of almost everything, the skies are clear but storms are always comin'."
Harwin closed his eyes.
Gods, she sounded in pain, lost as he had never heard her before.
"Your gift to me is just to be," she sang softer. "Bracing for the winds I always summon."
Harwin peaked inside and watched as she lay the little blonde boy down on his bed, tucking him in.
"My home, my heart," she kissed his forehead. "Thank gods you are someone who loves me."
He stood by the doorway silently as she watched her son, until Rhaenyra turned and glanced at him.
"You always did have a beautiful voice," he spoke softly.
His ex smiled a little bit, shaking her head to herself.
"Why am I not surprised you sneaked up to hear me sing?" she stepped out, closing the door behind her.
He just smiled a bit.
"Because you know me," he shrugged. "Can we talk?"
She chuckled.
"I don't know if Daemon will like that very much," she teased him. "Let's go to the porch."
Why wasn't he surprised by that?
They walked down together, and she guided him outside to a little porch with chairs, a little cooler, and a swinging seat.
"How are you finding the town?" she asked, sitting on it. "Jace said you two had fun in the mall."
"It's nice," he assured her. "Well, all malls are the same, but I know how boys are."
Rhaenyra smiled.
"Teens and their malls," she agreed. "They can drive down there with their eyes closed."
Harwin smiled, nodding. She was such a loving mother, he couldn't imagine the young Rhaenyra he had once met ever believing this would be who she would become.
She was such a sad woman when they met, always lonely. It didn't help that she was recently married to Laenor and he was much more interested in spending his nights away - with Joffrey, Harwin would find out later.
Rhaenyra never became bitter, but she was so sad, so hurt.
How could he ever leave her side when he was everything she had?
She smiled so beautifully at him, like she never did in her life, laughed like no one ever made her laugh.
Harwin fell in love with making her happy.
When she sought his bed with her face wet and puffy with tears, he couldn't turn her away.
And Jacaerys came months later. A beautiful boy, big and healthy.
Oh, how she loved him. She had him wrapped around her day and night, all times of the day.
Each baby changed her into who she was now.
And yet, something had happened.
"That was a beautiful song," he told her. "Very sad."
Rhaenyra turned to him, watching his face.
"I've never heard you singing it before," he noted.
She chuckled sadly.
"Well, unfortunately, there is no song that says, this is the worst moment in my life since I left Westeros and I can't cope."
He watched her, a bit surprised.
"Is it because I'm here?" he asked.
She shook her head.
"The boys like that you are here," she affirmed. "And you are a friend. I would never turn you away."
Harwin relaxed, nodding, happy to hear it.
"Then why are you so sad?" he asked. "Is it the holidays? Did your father's cancer..."
He couldn't finish his phrase.
"No," she shook her head. "My father is healthier than ever, now. He started running marathons, you know?"
He smiled a little.
"Nice," he agreed.
"Yes, he got 5th place just a couple of weeks ago," she told him. "Helaena sent me a picture of him crossing the finish line."
He raised his eyebrows, her deflection obvious.
"Rhaenyra," he called softly. "My question?"
The door opened between them, and Daemon stepped out of the house.
"Hey," he looked at Harwin. "What are you bothering her for?"
He sighed.
"We are talking," Harwin told him. "So what, she can't talk to other men now that she is married to you?"
"Not men who bombard her with questions, interrogating her about her life and her choices," he stood straighter, as if ready to fight.
Rhaenyra shook her head quietly, still not looking again.
"Daemon," she reached for him, her voice soft as she took his hand, though not facing the two.
But she was crying. Very quietly, very much to herself.
As if Harwin hadn't known her for years, as if he didn't know her sadness.
Her husband shifted, kneeling in front of her and taking her two hands.
"My love," he whispered.
She forced a smile onto her face, and Daemon glared at him.
"See what you've done?" he nearly growled.
Harwin's heart tightened in his chest.
"I only asked because Jacaerys is worried about you," he affirmed, still keeping his eyes on her. "He doesn't understand what is going on, and is so protective of you, Rhaenyra."
She outrightly sobbed.
"And he didn't know who else to ask," Harwin insisted. "Our son is 16 now, nearly 17. He is going to be an adult in just one year, and he can see when you are sad, he can see when we hide something from him."
That seemed to have broken Daemon too.
He fell with his face on her thighs, breathing in deeply as she caressed his cheek.
Harwin watched them, the pain looking so different in both.
What could have happened that even Daemon was suffering?
"What happened?" he asked gently.
Rhaenyra closed her eyes, her cheeks pink as she curled around her husband, kissing his forehead as he rested his cheek on her belly, brushing his hair as
"There is nothing you can say that will make me judge you," he affirmed. "You said it yourself, we are friends, we had three wonderful boys together. And we've been through so much. Please."
She pulled back, sniffing, drying her cheeks, trying to gather herself, looking devastated as she did.
"A few... a few months ago," she started. "We found out I was pregnant again. It was a surprise, Viserys had just turned one."
Daemon closed his eyes, and Harwin watched them, and she pulled her phone from her side, showing it to him with a sad smile. An ultrasound video.
The sound of a heartbeat echoed through the porch, and Daemon turned away from him, hiding from his eyes.
"We did one of those blood gender tests, and it was a girl," she told him. "Visenya."
Harwin exhaled. Visenya.
Rhaenyra always hoped for a girl anytime she was pregnant. First with Jace, then with Luke. He wasn't there for Joff's pregnancy, but he knew she wanted a daughter so much. He imagined having the twins around was the most wonderful thing to her, but a baby girl would also be happily welcomed.
She changed the photos, and another video played. Daemon speaking Valyrian to her belly, only barely there, though he knew what to look for after so many years.
"We don't usually tell the kids about a new baby until I'm past the third month," she continued. "You know we are related, this isn't news. The doctors always want to make sure the baby is viable and healthy."
He nodded.
Rhaenyra had told him about her mother, about how she had lost children before. Before Rhaenyra was even walking her parents had her do all rare genetic tests on her, afraid she could carry any disease, and found nothing.
Had they found something wrong with the baby? Anything dangerous?
"We were hoping we would tell them at Christmas," she smiled sadly. "We got a little stocking we were going to put in the fireplace, and I would joke about how she was going to be our nest filler, as the oldest three are ready for university, and Viserys would be starting preschool three times a week when he turned two..."
Harwin chuckled. That did sound adorable. He knew Rhaenyra would be over the moon those past months.
Daemon took her hand, cradling his own face with it.
Rhaenyra cried again, covering her lips with her free hand, never one to get attention to herself, and reality crept into him.
"And then," she half whispered.
She started sobbing again, uncontrollably, and he sat there, dumbfounded, not knowing what to do or say.
Daemon moved, at last, and sat on the long swinging seat, taking her to his lap as if to a child to comfort, and she cried into his neck.
"We had a day alone," he rubbed her back, sounding like he had hardened himself deeply. "Viserys, Rhaenys and Corlys were in Valyria to visit us, they took all of the children for a day and we went to nap, because when can you nap when you have seven children to take care of, over half of them teenagers and the other three seven and under?"
He squeezed her close.
"I had just bought the children their tickets to Westeros, to spend Christmas with the Velaryons. I came to our room and Rhaenyra was crying in pain in the bathroom," Daemon told him. "The bed was covered in blood, the sheets, the mattress... everything."
His eyes were staring at nothing, focused on the darkness before them, outside.
Harwin closed his eyes, the image alone hurting him.
"It happened so fast," she spoke softly. "I felt the pain, I dragged myself to the tub and... and she was out. She was barely the size of my hand."
He looked at his own hand and then hers.
"Emergency services came," Daemon told them. "They helped us with the bleeding, and they let us keep her, so we burn her together, per our customs."
"We buried her remains," Rhaenyra told him. "But we never told the children."
Harwin stood, half horrified, and took her hand in his, trying to be gentle.
He wanted to ask why, but it was such a complicated question.
He wouldn't know what he would do if he were in that position.
What could she have done?
"It's why I asked for our Christmas to be here," Daemon looked at him.
Yes, it was very understandable.
"I didn't know the kids had noticed," Rhaenyra lamented. "I didn't know... I didn't want them to hurt too, I'm so sorry."
He caressed the back of her hand.
"You have to be sorry for," he assured her. "No one teaches you what to do when you lose a child. You were doing your best."
Daemon kissed her forehead, rubbing her back.
"I tell that to her all the time," he affirmed. "We are doing the best we can."
Harwin exhaled slowly, still holding her hand, and caressed her knuckles.
"I'm very sorry for your loss," he affirmed. "And I'm not going to tell the children anything, don't worry."
She nodded, sniffing, sounding a bit calmer now.
"But you are not alone," he told her. "Jacaerys and Lucerys are grown, smart and very mature. I'm sure Baela and Rhaena are the same."
They looked at him, the nearly identical pair of purple eyes on his face.
"Your family is with you," he affirmed, looking at Daemon too. "And that's what family is for. Sharing happy and sad moments, carrying the weight of losses together and helping you."
They didn't say anything, exchanging looks, and he moved on his seat.
"Can I tell Laenor?" he asked. "He is the boys' dad too, and he sees how worried they are. If you are alright with it, of course. But I think he can help."
Rhaenyra nodded shortly, and Daemon exhaled.
"Yes," he confirmed, at last. "You can. Just ask him not to share it with the children, please. Or his parents. We would rather if we were the ones to tell the rest of the family when we are ready."
He nodded.
"Of course," he agreed.
Harwin stood, and Daemon moved the seat, making it swing back and forth slowly as he caressed Rhaenyra's hair slowly, comforting her as she rested on his chair with her eyes closed.
"I'll leave you two be," he told them.
Before he could, though, Rhaenyra opened her eyes, looking at him.
"Thank you, Harwin."
"Thank you," Daemon mumbled.
He smiled at them.
"Anytime."

Yisan's love for deok-im through the years
Doek-im was the daughter of yisan's mother's family's butler. When she was around 10, Deok-im's father went bankrupt and was not able to support his family so she became an apprentice court lady. Yisan's mother took her and kept her in her place. Deok-im was like an adoptive daughter to her as her daughters were silmilar age as deok-im. People believe that yisan and deok-im knew each other since around that time when they were kids.
Around that time yisan got married to queen hyoui. It was of course arranged marriage. Joseon's royals usually got married around 10. After marriage, Princes and princesses live in a court with their spouses for a while. Around the age of 15, they go through coming of age ceremony and finally set a date to sleep with the spouse. Yisan and hyoui's relationship was bad at first because of complicated political situations and people came between them such as princess hwawan and hong deok-ro. Yisan hated his wife and talked bad about her when he was teen. They later Reconciled and developed mutual faith and respect with each other after yisan acsended the throne. they never had a child together.
Teen yisan didn't want to be close with his legal wife perhaps he had someone else in his heart, deok-im. Right after his coming of age ceremony, when he officially became a man that can have concubine if he wants, he asked deok-im to be his concubine. It seems that yisan asked her in person. Normally king or crown prince had someone else deliver his order to a woman. Like yisan had lady seo tell deok-im in the red sleeve. But he aked her himself. I think it's cute to imagine teenage prince confessing his feelings to someone for the first time. However deok-im rejected him saying she can't be his concubine because yisan's wife had not born a legitimate child yet. Yisan repected her rejection. If he insisted more he could have had her but he didn't pursue more.
"I undertood your mind and didn't push further" was his words
After all, He was in difficult political situation. He had so many enemies that want him disposed. His only lifeline was his grandpa yeongjo and he most likey wouldn't have approve yisan having low class women as concubine at very young. Yeongjo wanted yisan to be perfect confuciusist crown prince. So yisan didn't push it. From then and until yisan ascended the throne at age 25, he was so busy. Even after he became the king, he had to grow his own power over noron. He didn't ask deok-im again during that time. but later he revealed that he always considered her as his royal consort since he first asked her.
Deok-im seemed to maintained good relationships with yisan's sisters even after she rejected him. Deok-im and yisan's two sister transcribed series of books <곽장양문록> along with other court ladies kyeonghee, bok-yeon and yeonghee. We don't know about these court ladies. In the red sleeve they are deok-im's close friends. She was 21 when she transcribed the books. In late joseon royal and noble women liked to read very long novels to kill times.
Tumblr media
<deok-im's handwriting, bottom right under red seal it says "Uibin's handwriting">
Yisan always said he was not that kind of man who seeks carnal pleasures. As his queen could not get pregnant, he had to have royal consorts. he was always reluctant when people around him pushed him. Royal consorts were all chosen by other royal women in higher positions or ministers not him. One-bin was too young, died young. Hwabin did not get pregnant as well and she really was a jealous type. Around age 30, yisan was still Childless. People at that time usually have first child at late teen so this was really really late for him. Around 30, yisan asked deok-im again to be his royal consort. She rejected again! He was a king not a prince then. Court lady who disobey king's order can be harshly punished for that but she did it. So this gives us something to think about. Yisan wrote about her so many times. So we know he loved her but are we sure that she did love him too? Normally people think all court ladies would be honored and thrilled to be king's woman. They would be happy doing nothing in her room and just waiting for the king to come sleep with them. We often forget that even though these women lived in pre modern era, they might have their own wishes and feelings. I love the the red sleeve making us think about what deok-im would have really wanted.
Anyway so did yisan punish her? Nope! He couldn't get mad at her. instead he punished deok-im's subordinate court ladies. So Deok-im finally cave in and slept with him. I don't think having a child was yisan's only purpose to keep her. At that time, 30 was an old age. If yisan wanted an heir, he would have picked more noble women from prominent family in their late teens. He chose deok-im because he never not thought of her since 15. It wasn't a teenage crush. It was long time devotion and faith. I imagine deok-im was really a wise woman like yisan praised so many times. An amazingly wise and generous woman. someone just like him that smart and cocky king loved for life. She was the only woman that yisan ever chose in his life.
After they got together, he huilt a new place for her. Building a new place for someone is king's way of showing affection. Her place was located between his office and his bedroom so he visited her whenever he wants.
Tumblr media
Back in joseon, there were people that pick the best date for the king to sleep with queen or royal consorts from noble family. They set a perfect date to have royal heir according to astrology and stuff. They meddled with king's sex life so a king can't sleep with the queen anytime he wants. But with a court lady, king can spend night with them freely with no meddling. So i think yisan and deok-im made love a lot without anyone interfering them. He finally got together with his crush after so many years. Imagine his passion! isn't that why he built her place so close to him?🤣🤣
Deok-im immediately got pregnant. Unfortunately first two pregnancies end in miscarriage. In 1782, a son, 순(sun: pronounced as 'soon') was born. The first son of the king that he made with the woman he loved! He said he was happy that he finally became a father. He believed that with deok-im, he would have many children and they would be happy forever.
The next day sun was born, yisan built a new prince's place. It isn't like there was no place for a prince to live in the court. There was 저승전(jeo-seung-jeon) where crown princes of joseon lived traditionally including yisan's father sado. But yisan wanted a brand new place that has no tragic history. He built '중희당'(jung-hee-dang) nearby his office and deok-im's place. It was in the center of the court. He put many scientific device and astronomical instruments there expecting his son to use them and study as he grows up. New father had high hopes for the future of his son.
Deok-im received the only best from yisan. Normally royal consorts who were from noble families are ranked higher and treated better than those who were court ladies before. But yisan treated her like she was from noble family. Deok-im became first rank royal consort two months after their son was born. She got the title '의빈'(宜嬪, uibin)'. Usually the names of royal consorts"s title were chosen by other government officials. But uibin was named by yisan himself. '의宜' has various meaning. Firstly 'as it should be' or  'meant to be',. And 'peaceful, warm, beautiful', 'like'.
Deok-im got pregnant again. This time yisan looks like he practically lived in her place. He even worked in there. That was their happiest moment. With a baby son babbling and another child growing in her belly. He talked to her when he got bored. They laughed a lot. He held a birthday party for her. I once read that he taught her mathematics and she learned right away. I imainge that was during this time. The king counted on her. They were not equal but they shared their souls. He was by her side when their daughter was born. He was so happy to be a father of both son and a daughter.
Unfortunately the baby princess died in only two months. They were both deeply devastated. Afther their daughter died, it seems like yisan wanted to cheer up deok-im. Two months later, He appointed their son Sun, 22 months old, as the crown prince of Joseon. This was quite a shock because usually, a prince should be older than at least eight to be the crown prince. The day that Sun became the crown prince, yisan offered food to government officials and released prisoners. He even cut taxes. He wanted to share blessing in all over the country. Yisan had people record every royal ritual crown prince Sun went through. Everything was so special.
By the way Deok-im and yisan's queen seemed to have mutual respect for each other. They were same age. They probably had known each other since kids. Deok-im rejected yisan for the queen at 15. Deok-im was humble even though she was the mother of the future king. She always looked up to the queen. As deok-im's children are legally queen's children and deok-im didn't threat queen's authority, queen cared for deok-im as well. After all...it was queen's duty and virtue to not be jealous of royal consorts. People wrote that queen cried like someone who lost their sibling when deok-im died. Yisan's mother took care of deok-im as well. She sent her servents when deok-im was giving birth.
Their happiest moment didn't last long. Their son, crown prince died at age 5 of measles. Doctors thought he was cured but then he suddenly died. This broke yisan and deok-im. At Sun's funeral, deok-im was there. She clutched her son's grave and cried. She must have felt like she lost everything. Yisan wrapped his son's body with his clothes, a king's attire as a way of expressing father's love and put him in the casket. Yisan lost his loving son, an only heir to the joseon dynasty but he had no time to be drown in sadness. As he was the king he had to deal with measles outbreak in the country. Even though he couldn't show it, i imagine he would have broken down when no one was watching just like in the red sleeve.
Sun's death completely broke deok-im mentally and physically. She was pregnant at that time. Yisan worried about the health of her and the baby in her. He sent her to the other palace for her to recuperate. Back then, it was believed that sick person should move to somewhere else to cure disease. Two month later she came back with heavy belly. But it was uncertain if she was able to give birth. She was so weak. As yisan studied medicine, He stayed with her and took care of her. He watched her take bath every day. He looked over her medicines. He inspected every little medicine tools that were used for deok-im.
Despite all his efforts and devotion, deok-im died in 1786 at age 34. She was nine months pregnant. Doctors then didn't know the cause of her death. Could be toxemia or her son's death broke her too much. There even is a conspiracy theory that she was poisoned by hwabin. But there is no way of knowing now. She died leaving yisan deeply devastated. He cried loudly. He stopped working for 20 days. He lost his only heir who was supposed to carry on joseon dynasty's legacy, only infant daugter and the love of his life in few years. He thought Sun would come back to him and deok-im as the third child but the baby in deok-im died with her. He cried that Sun's trace is now all gone. Life was so cruel to him. How did he have to lose everything he loved? He never asked much. According to yisan's mother's memoir, his body got so weak because of grief after death of deok-im and children. I can't even imagine how he got himself together, continued to do kingly duties, and In fact became the greatest king of late joseon.
Yisan couldn't bear the thought of deok-im's existence get lost in the history.
"Uibin's trace will be forgotten forever. If i don't write how she was the most amazing person, who would leave her story and let it known?"
He wrote that behind deok-im's tombstone. In epitaph, he wrote short biography of her and how wonderful she was as a person (he literally wrote that she was the perfect woman in every way) and how devastated he was to loose her. A king of joseon never did that for a concubine. A king of joseon rarely express their romantic feelings towards a woman. A king of joseon never mourned a concubine's death for long. But for deok-im, he did all of them. I think she wasn't just a concubine to him. She was a whole woman he respected and loved. He was her man.
Tumblr media
This excerpt got famous and people began to have intrest in their love story.
After her death, he mourned her for three years of traditional royal funeral process.
Tumblr media
He buried deok-im next to their son Sun aka, crown prince munhyo. Accroding to the royal law, a concubine can not be buried next to royal born even though they are mother and son. But yisan let them be together. He visited deok-im and son's graves often. The hill he used to pass when he visit them is now called "거둥고개".
Remember jung-hee-dang that yisan built for crown prince? Yisan used that place as his office until he died.
After losing the love of his life and the son who was supposed to carry on his legacy and joseon dynasty... he had to produce another heir.. it was his duty. I think he must have felt quite miserable to sleep with some woman whom he had never seen before after he buried his family. Regardless of his feelings, subin was chosen by others. She gave birth to a son and a daugher. A son became the crown prince at age 11 and ascended the throne after yisan died. Yisan respected subin and the son but he never treated them like he treated deok-im and munhyo.
Yisan died at age 49. His 11 year old son ascended the throne. Because he was too young, yeongjo's young queen who was the most senior of the royal family held the power. She revoked yisan's great policies and works. Joseon dynasty went downhill after that. Some people think if yisan and deok-im's son didn't die young, he would have been around 20 years old when yisan died. He would have never let yeongjo's queen and other norons screw up joseon dynasty. So It's a tragic for everyone.
It was fun watching the red sleeve with you guys and telling you about korean history. We talked about romantic side of yisan mostly but he is really interesting person and a great king other than that. Hope more people get to know him. Thank you for reading very long post.

Stella Headcanons:
Tumblr media
You know her. You love her.
She’s bubbly, she’s fun. (And she’s pretty funny.)
She’s Princess Stella Sol of Solaria.
(These headcanons are all in relation to my ‘main verse’, which is the New Company of Light/Balance Verse. And it can also translate into my Left verse.)
Under the cut because it’s long.
About Stella:
-Her fear of heights comes from a major fall she took as a child off of her grandfather’s pet dragon. (He was teaching her how to ride and… She wasn’t holding onto it well enough and down she went.)
-Stella is fluent in nearly 56 of the Magical Dimensions languages. (She was to stick to the languages spoken by the realms who interacted most with Solaria.)
-After meeting Bloom and spending a little time on Earth, Stella is also trying to learn a few of the Earth’s languages. (She’s mastered English and Spanish, but she’s still working on French and Russian.)
-She loves sweets. (And food in general. But considering she’s Solarian, that’s to be expected. They tend to eat more than most people in the Magical Dimension.)
-Stella may or may not glow in the dark. (It’s something she can control and she has to be focused to do it. She inherited that gift from her mother.)
-Stella’s mother was religious and has a close relationship to the Moons, while her father, despite being so close in relationship to the Suns of Solaria, isn’t religious. Stella personally has mixed feelings on religion. She likes the idea of spirituality and having a higher power to rely on, but organized religion makes her heart hurt. (They tend to talk down about those who don’t follow a ‘certain’ way of life, which to Stella isn’t a cool thing to do, unless, of course, the other people are actually hurting someone else.)
-She was almost a big sister. Her mother had been pregnant when she was seven. (They don’t ever talk about it. And, as an adult, Stella can see where this was a turning point for her parents and their relationship. Her mother just wasn’t quite the same after losing Diana.)
-Stella is a dog person and was so happy when she finally got a puppy for her birthday one year. (The dog was her best friend and her main confidant.) Unfortunately, Stella’s dog only made it to four years old. (It had an illness that not even magic could fix.)
-Stella hasn’t been able to stomach the thought of another dog since. (However, Brandon may or may not offer for them to get a dog later on. You know, as their “first child”.)
-Stella can spot patterns without trying. It’s so ingrained in her after being around fashion, and the practical applications of pattern spotting have made her life so much easier.
-Here’s the thing about Stella… She’s somewhat dyslexic. Words and reading do not come easily to her. On the flip side, Stella can give one hellova speech. Her charisma and charm make her a natural at hyping up a crowd.
-Stella had a fairy godmother until she was 13. An elderly woman named Glinda. Glinda helped Stella with her shyness and in her first fashion attempts. And Glinda was the one who helped Stella gain her magic winx the first time with encouragement and confidence. (After all, how else should a future queen bring out her power?)
-After gaining her wings, her father gifted her the Ring of Solaria. It was done in a ceremony to the Suns and Moons of Solaria and the Ring had to choose Stella just as it had Radius and their family before them. Once Stella and the Ring bonded, she shifted for the first time in public to show off her wings and magic. Her parents couldn’t have been prouder.
-She went to a private school on Solaria for her elementary and middle school education years, but she was somewhat isolated due to being the Princess of Solaria (making the other kids judge her ahead of time as some sort of prim and proper prep they didn’t want around) and due to some of her ‘uncool’ hobbies.
-(Those uncool hobbies? Stella is actually into comics and superheroes, but until meeting the rest of the Winx, she wasn’t interested in sharing that side of herself. Solarian Comics actually helped Stella with reading because of their writing structure. Stella is also a fan of learning cultures and wanting to see what benefits other places and if it could be replicated to help Solaria. And Stella was kind of a… Horse girl. She spent many, many, many summers and school holidays at her maternal uncle’s horse ranch in the Western Spaces of Solaria.)
-Stella tends to use her solar powers more than her lunar ones. It’s not because she doesn’t feel close to her mother or to her mother’s family, it’s just a little more difficult for her tap into that part of her magic. (Solar magic is easy and tapped into by thinking of warm and splendid times. Lunar magic requires a bit more… Reflection. And Stella doesn’t like having to think too long about things. Not because she can’t, but because if she starts to really think about things, she tends to overthink them which leads her down a dark rabbit hole.)
-Stella’s best friend growing up was Nova Rinae, despite being two years older than the other girl. Nova’s mother is the head of Luna’s guard, and Nova was often in the palace. (Making her one of the few children always around. And because she shared several of Stella’s interests, they clicked rather quickly.)
-(Her parents also encourage this friendship as it’s important to them for Stella to be close to those who may serve alongside her when its time for her to become queen. Friendships can be turned into unwavering loyalty, and that can mean life or death in certain situations.)
-Before she ever got her magic, Stella’s parents thought she may end up being the ‘New Host’ for the Light Dragon. (Bloom was never found, which meant no one could say for certain what happened to the Light Dragon, other than it had to be alive still. Otherwise the Balance would have been off.)
-Because of their thoughts on her having the Light Dragon, Stella was taught basic hand-to-hand skills as a child and was instructed to be wary of “golden eyes” in the shadows. She was also to learn Solaria’s history as well as Domino’s. (Though Stella mostly paid attention to how the two worlds overlapped instead of their separate histories.)
-Stella actually knew Layla, Sky, and Diaspro as children. But because so much can change from being five years old to being 15/16, she didn't recognize them when they met again. (They had all been at a major conference for the realms and while their parents ‘talked shop’, they went to play. It was their first and last time together like that until years later.)
-Despite being a princess, Stella tends to be a bit messy. At least, as far as her room itself. Her workspaces (wardrobe and vanity and tailoring areas) are the most well-kept areas in her care. (She likes to work in clean spaces… But in her room, the space where she lives, she likes it to look lived in.)
-Stella originally got into fashion at about 10 years old in an attempt to get closer to her mother. Her mother always had work to do as a queen, and for her off-time, she went to fashion shows (which in a way, were also work, because as a queen she’s expected to be aware of trends and present herself in a certain way). So to spend more time with her mother, Stella started having an interest in fashion. (Which quickly became a hobby she loved when she found the different ways she could express herself with fashion.)
-In a bid to get closer to her father, Stella took a major interest in cooking. (Her father can bake. He’s messy at it, but by the Dragons do his pastries and cookies taste of heaven.) Granted, Stella didn’t inherit the baking skill, but she can recite recipes and judge pastries and baked goods like its her job. (And for some of Solaria’s festivals, it is.)
-Have I mentioned she’s an expert equestrian in the Solarian Rodeo? Her go-to is barrel racing and square-dancing competitions, and she’s even dipped her toes into riding the bronco and in cattle roping.
-Stella has far-sightedness. She can see things far away, but things up close are blurred. She used to wear glasses, but after elementary school, she swapped to contacts. (However she does still wear glasses and keeps them close by just in case. They’re a stylish silver-blue and not quite thick-framed.)
-Stella has formal training in ballroom dancing. (Her favorite is the Eraklyon Tango. Or at least, it has been for the past few years. Wonder why…?)
-Stella also has a minor fear of spiders. (It’s not really a fear either… More like a squick. She doesn’t like them, but she doesn’t mind them being around if she doesn’t have to see them. It’s because one of her school teachers thought a great Life Lesson would be for the class to witness his pet tarantula eat a live meal. Not fun for little Stella.)
(Not fun for him either, once the parents got a hold of him…)
-Stella lied about what happened during her ‘real’ first year at Alfea. She honestly did blow up the Potion’s Lab… But it wasn’t because she was researching color theories…
-Just before Stella was meant to leave for Alfea, like a week or two before, she found out from Nova, NOVA, that her parents were getting a divorce. Luna and Radius never told her. Her friend told her.
-Stella didn’t want to leave after that, afraid that if she was gone, she couldn’t help them patch things up. (She truly believed they could work this out. She just needed to be there. She needed them to see her and remember why they fell in love.)
-They dropped Stella off, but still didn’t discuss or leave room to discuss the divorce. (Stella didn’t want to let them know she knew because she didn’t want Nova in trouble for listening in on their mothers’ conversations.)
-Which led to a panicked Stella trying desperately to pretend to be okay while in the presence of the others. (She’s a princess, she can’t show despair. Especially without reason.)
-Stella was angry that her parents still hadn’t talked to her and that they had sent her away. She was feeling left out and scared and confused. They were in love. Right?!
-So she started doing small things around Alfea to try and get her suspended. Not expelled, just suspended. (She needed time at home, before the holidays.)
-She verbally attacked other Alfea students, playing up the pompous princess act. No luck. She mocked Palladium. No luck. She even cut classes. No luck. So as a last resort, without having to go to Cloud Tower and stir trouble up there, was to mess around in the potion’s lab. It worked… Too well.
-She was expelled and sent back to Solaria. Her parents were upset with her, and disappointed (which was the worst ever for Stella who really wanted their approval in everything). Stella broke down and finally told them that she knew and that she didn’t want her family to break apart. That she was scared and shaken and angry. Angry that they could pretend so well that everything was fine when it obviously wasn’t.
-Luna and Radius decided to try a form of family counseling to try and help Stella. (They hated seeing their daughter so upset, but they knew in the long run that staying together would have damaged her further. She didn’t need to grow up with constant arguing and avoiding each other, that wasn’t a love story they wanted her to follow.)
-(They also explained the situation to Faragonda and promised to pay for the damages. Faragonda allowed Stella to return within the next school year if her progress with the counselor went well.)
-Stella, even though still upset with her parents’ divorce, was a bit more accepting of it after taking the school year to focus on them as a family. (Even one that was split.)
-Stella does have hope they’ll reunite, but she understands a bit more now why they split up. (And even though they are in separate palaces, Luna taking residence in the Lunar Sections now, she knows they love her very much.)

Inspired by the song "Flower of The Plateau" by Mothy, this story thats part of Ever Changing Fate (my story) doesn't have much of a connection to the main plot of ECF but I made it to flesh it out more and because why not.
You might have to zoom in on the picture to be able to read it- sorry oof.
Tumblr media
Cast:
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Oliver's full name is "Oliver Bortè".
"Chrysana" is not actually Chrysana's real name. Her real name is "Zaria Bortè". Her current full name is " Chrysana Orlov".
Marilla's full name as you would guess is "Marilla Orlov".
The Tsardom of Rinael is inspired by Russia. In case you didn't already know since I've mentioned Parie before, Parie is literally just a play on "Paris" and is insird by France. I'm pretty sure I've said that before but just mentioning for anyone else who read this.
Thus:
Chrysana is basically a French woman except France is in the southeast area of the planet and she abandoned her son and left him for dead before fleeing to Russia except it's in the northwestern area of the planet. She traveled very far away for a reason: it's so far out it would be impossible (so she thought) for anyone to find out who she really was.
Harlots (aka prostitutes for any who didn't know) are heavily discriminated against in Ever Changing Fate due to being seen as sinful even though most of them are only harlots because they need money, such as Chrysana. Chrysana ended up pregnant after being "without her consent used in a vulgar way", which is code for "being RP'd". She was heavily scarred and saw her son as a burning reminder of her experience. She never loved him but upon his birth she thought she could get used to him. But she soon realized that having a son was not very profitable because she couldn't afford to feed both herself and him, and the men she brought in didn't like having a kid around. Babies were too much work in her eyes at the time, and so she abandoned him and chose to completely erase her old identity as the harlot Zaria Bortè, and took on a new identity. In the years after she married the head of House Orlov in Rinael after fleeing there as a stowaway on a ship and had a daughter. But she nevr anticipated her son searching for her...
And so she had to maintain her new identity...
And that mean that anyone who knew of her past must be-
Since you read the text in the above picture, you kno what happened...
"The poor Oliver was found dead"
For your information Marilla was completely oblivious to Oliver being her older brother and her mother not being who she pretended to be, along with Duke Orlov who was also oblivious to everything.
Chrysana faked her entire personality as "Chrysana Orlov" when in reality her true self as "Zaria Bortè" was a cynical, scarred woman who hated the world, and was nearly unapproachable. Due to this in order to survive Chrysana knew she had to forge a new personality for herself which was joyful, social, happy, etc, and thus is why she became known as the "Joy of Rinael" due to the fact Rinael was constantly a gloomy land of snow, so someone who was optimistic and happy was sort of just foreign to them.
Other facts:
Chrysana was an orphan. She had been homeless her entire life until she fled to Rinael. She had found and decided to live in an abandoned house that she had fixed up herself and lit up with candles a few years before Oliver was born, when she was 14.
Yes, Chrysana had been a harlot even before she was of age; she became one when she was 12. "It was all to survive" is what she told herself even though she hated everything, her life, the men, the world...
Chrysana was 19 when she had Oliver.
Oliver is aproximately 6 years older than Marilla.
Marilla actually really wanted a sibling and would have loved having Oliver as her older brother. She got a baby sister a year after Oliver's death and a baby brother another two years after that.
Chrysana and Marilla's appearance is somewhat inspired by Hatsune Miku, mostly Marilla with her pigtails and hair color.
The rose on the headband that Chrysana is wearing is a black rose.
Chrysana's birth name and fake name are both flower names; Chrysana comes from Chrysanthemum and Zaria either is a flower or means flower in some other language, I forget. Marilla is another name for the flower Amaryllis.
Orlov was a noble family in the Russian Empire way back.
Vasily is a common Russian name, I believe.
Duke Vasily Orlov had strawberry blonde hair and purple eyes. He was younger than Chrysana by two years and had loved her nearly ever since she had moved to Rinael. Considering he was was 19 when she moved to Rinael, his teenage hormones were still all over the place and genuinely his crush on her was a childish one at first.
Chrysana despises intercourse nowadays but does it anyway to keep up her farce and to satisfy Vasily.
Chrysana genuinely loves Vasily but the relationship can be strained because of her trauma, fake identity, and fake personality.
Chrysana murdered several other men who happened to be people she slept with years earlier if she saw them whether she was in Rinael or visiting somehwere else because she wants to annihilate all record of her past.
By the time she died Chrysana had murdered about half of the men she slept with in the past.
Chrysana lived in the 1200s T.C., 350~ years before the Second Great Theda Civil War and main plot of Ever Changing Fate.
Chrysana's descendants (specifically Marilla's line) eventually married into the royal family of Rinael and several of the members of the royal family ended up bearing her hair color and or eye color due to it being very dominant throughout her bloodline.
If anyone found out she had been a harlot many years later there would be a bit of a scandal about it in the royal family, how big it would be would depend on how far down the line her descendants are at whenever it was discovered. However, her being a harlot was never found out by anyone.
One of the greatest rulers of Rinael bore both Chrysana's hair and eye color. He lived in the 1400s.
Chrysana became a writer later in her life (Around her mid 40s) and wrote a story that was actually based on her past identity. She wrote it in order to get out everything that she had pent up inside of her. She lied to everyone whenever asked that the entire story was fictitious and was based on many stories with several elements pulled from other stories to make it. It was called "The Tragedy of The Harlot Catria". Catria was the name of Chrysana's mother who was also a harlot according to the records Chrysana managed to find about her. She of course claimed that the records she looked at of Catria were just for her story- in reality Chrysana just desperately wished to know anything about her that she could because she never met her since her mother died in childbirth.
Chrysana knew her mother's name because of a locket that she had held onto since she could remember which had the inscription "Love from mama, Catria, to her lovely daughter, Zaria".
Chrysana's mother was a victim of RP just like Chrysana.
Chrysana's eye color is from her mother, her hair is from her father.
Chrysana met her father once and promptly beat him up for everything he did to her mother and never carung about her. However, he didn't know she was his daughter and she didn't kill him because he was a nobleman of Parie and it would have ended badly for Rinael because it could have caused rumors about him being killed by a Rinaelian nobleman/woman or she could have gotten found out.
Rinael and Parie don't like each other very much. :/
I personally like that you've been building on the character designs because it's really starting to come together in a really beautiful kind of way. The way that you're able to draw hair and the way that the environment affects it is just really telling of the characters in a lot more ways than you realize. It stands out more than just color theory in general.
Posture is one thing but you can see a lot just from the way that someone Styles themselves and just by looking at these characters you can tell that they have this specific energy to them. It's not standoffish. But it's definitely something in the realm of uneasy and uncertain.
I just want to say that these guys have been going through so much and their universe that it is kind of tedious. Can everyone in this room just get along for 5 minutes to have a group hug or something?

Making a Memory (1/?)
Tumblr media
Well here it is! My submission for the Captain Swan Supernatural Summer. This idea has been in my head since last summer, but I didn't have the motivation to tackle it until this year. All I knew is that I wanted some form of The Parent Trap but I didn't like the idea of Emma and Killian being divorced, and then this is what it became.
Just a warning, there is nothing supernatural for the first few chapters.
Thank you so much to @profdanglaisstuff and @thisonesatellite for being my betas and for helping me come up with ideas for this since last summer. And to @mariakov81 for also helping with ideas and for the lovely artwork you gifted me for my birthday inspired by this story.
Thank you @gingerchangeling for the amazing artwork you made for this fic! I love it so much
Summary: Hope Swan and Alice Jones meet at summer camp and immediately realize two things: they look exactly alike and they don’t like each other. But the more they delve into things the more they realize this is not just another case of The Parent Trap, and that there may be more at stake (and more danger) than they thought.
Rated T (although it could change later on)
Read on Ao3
For as long as she could remember, Hope Swan had wanted to go to sleepaway camp. Oh sure, she’d been going to regular day camps every summer since she was five, but she wanted some time away from her mom. She’d begged her every year, but Emma Swan told her every year that they couldn’t afford it (bail bonds kept them comfortable, but didn’t leave a lot for extras). And every year Hope was disappointed. But this year, the year she was 13 (14 in three months), all that changed.
Hope’s older brother, Henry, had published his first novel a year ago at the age of 28 (yes, there was a 15 year age gap between them; that’s what happens when your mom first gets pregnant at 17, she waits a while before having another kid) and now had a sequel coming out, and had offered to pay for Hope to go to camp. Six weeks away from her mom. Not that Hope didn’t love her mom, but she was getting overbearing now that she was officially a teenager. It was as if she didn’t trust her at all. Hope had asked Henry if she was the same way when he turned 13, but he just gave a shrug and left it at that. Hope figured that being 45 with a 13-year-old and being 30 with a 13-year-old were completely different. And now she was here and having a great time and making new friends (Jen and Bianca), when she discovered the Jones girl.
She hadn’t noticed her on the first day. There were two 13-year-old girl cabins and Alice Jones happened to be in the other one. But on the second day, two girls from the other cabin said hi to her and called her Alice. She’d never seen these girls, since they weren’t in her cabin, but she figured it was the second day and all, and they must have mistaken her for another blonde-haired camper. But then more girls from the other cabin started calling her Alice and one of them tried to get her to go back to the other cabin with her. It was finally at lunch on that second day that she glanced over at the other cabin’s table and noticed a girl that looked exactly like her, except instead of her shoulder-length curls, this girl had much longer curls with purple streaks in them.
Jen noticed her looking. “The nerve of her! Coming here with your face!” She said angrily.
“Well, at least I understand why people thought I was someone else now.” Hope said. Of all the places to meet her doppleganger, she never would have thought it would have been at sleepaway camp. “It’s not a big deal, people will realize we’re two separate people eventually.” She said as she watched the Alice girl laughing with girls from her own cabin.
Except they didn’t. Everyday someone called her Alice and it was irritating Hope. Yes, they looked alike, but otherwise they were very different. Alice was a lot more punk rock, what with the streaks in her hair, the fact that she wore nothing but vintage band t-shirts and frayed cutoff shorts with Converse shoes. Hope mainly wore tank tops (sometimes with an open flannel shirt over it) with Bermuda shorts and sandals. She also wore her hair up in a simple ponytail, a perfect clone of her mother. Except for her blue eyes. Her mother seemed to have no idea where those came from seeing as she had green and her father had brown, or so she’d been told. She was too young to remember him when he died. Must have had two recessive blue eyes finally meet up her mother used to joke. Hope hadn’t got close enough to Alice to look at her eyes, but she wouldn’t be surprised if she had blue eyes too.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alice Jones was a bit of an odd duck. At least, that’s what she’d been told. Her Papa joked she had “a touch of the sight”. Alice didn’t think she was that peculiar. She likened herself to Luna Lovegood from the Harry Potter series (minus the radish earrings). She just got gut feelings about people. But running into a girl who looked almost identical to herself at a summer camp was nothing she could have ever predicted. It was unnerving to see someone who looked so similar to herself but wasn’t her. It was like looking into a mirror to see a super serious version of herself. She didn’t like it one bit. And Alice liked everything. Nothing rattled her. She didn’t know why this girl did.
It wasn’t as if this girl -- Hope, she’d learned her name was Hope -- had done anything to her either. Her mere presence just left her feeling unsettled. That touch of sight her father joked that she had been sending off warning bells in her gut that something wasn’t right. But what could she do to avoid her?  Alice thought that would be easy considering the size of the camp, she just didn’t bank on Hope having many of the same interests that she did. That first day, after all the rules had been told to them, they got to try out different specials (activities) and Hope seemed to be at most of the ones Alice had also gone to, and the feeling in her gut grew worse and worse. Like they weren’t supposed to be around each other.
“Everyone deserves a chance no matter what is in their past, Starfish.” Her Papa would say to her. It had just been her and her Papa for as long as Alice could remember. She usually had trouble making friends, being slightly odd as many girls she’d tried to befriend had told her, but she loved making new friends when the opportunity arose, and if people didn’t mind her idiosyncrasies. She’d always loved playing make-believe. She would often pretend she was Alice from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and have tea parties with her Papa and stuffed animals (Papa was always a pirate in her make-believe world though). As she got older she started sketching landscapes and the occasional self-portrait and had won several art prizes at her school and local contests. That was why she was confused about the feelings she was having concerning Hope. She should be forging a friendship with this girl, getting to know her, not feeling like she should stay as far away from her as possible. How many people got to meet someone who looked exactly like them?
“Hey, Alice, it’s time for lunch!” Viola yelled, startling Alice out of her thoughts. Alice usually loved mealtimes, she loved food, grilled cheese and onion rings being her favorite, but that was when she knew she’d see Hope and her stomach would practically rebel at a mere glance at her. She’d been so excited to finally get to go to sleepaway camp (something she’d been begging her Papa about for years). It just hadn’t been feasible on a dock manager’s salary, but this year they’d started a scholarship program and Alice had applied and received it, so here she was. Too bad her camp experience was being ruined by her weird sixth sense.
“Thanks!” Alice said getting up from her bunk and slipping on her worn, pink Converse.
Alice wondered if she would have the urge to avoid Hope the entire summer. That would definitely dampen the camp experience.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The change from avoidance to rivalry started over fencing of all things. Alice hadn’t known it was Hope that the director had pitted her against, as they were both wearing the required fencing masks and gear and it was impossible to tell who her opponent was. Alice had only recently started taking fencing lessons, something her Papa had wanted her to do, but she’d never been much for physical education or sports. She would have preferred archery or horseback riding (things she was happy she was getting to experience here at camp), but those were a bit expensive. The local YMCA offered fencing lessons for a low fee.
Her opponent was much better than she was. Alice had more of a hack at the other person with her sword approach rather than the correct stance. The other girl had much better form than she did and Alice could hear the frustrated sounds coming from her whenever Alice used two hands on her sword or kicked her opponent away (which Alice knew wasn’t legal, but this wasn’t a tournament and they were padded for goddess sake). At one point, Alice’s sword had been knocked out of her hands and she just lunged at the other girl. Alice knew she wasn’t playing by the rules, but she wanted to win and the fencing specialist hadn’t blown their whistle at her, so she kept on doing what she was doing.
Eventually, Alice ended up on her back with her opponent above her after she had tried to kick her again and her opponent had grabbed her foot instead, making Alice fall to the ground. They had definitely thrown the rules out the window, especially with her adversary completely disregarding the little footwork Alice had learned and doing swishy twists and turns. Bad form as her Papa would say. So, if she wasn’t going to play by the rules, then she wouldn’t either. Alice quickly kicked her knee upward, essentially kicking her opponent in the groin (even though she knew it wouldn’t hurt nearly as badly for a girl as it would a boy), but it was enough to push her back off of her. The distraction was enough that Alice managed to get herself back on her feet and jab the tip of her sword at the other girl’s chest. The whistle finally blew and the specialist came over asking the girls to take off their fencing masks so she could declare the winner and make sure they shook hands like good sports.
To say that both Alice and Hope were in shock when they realized they’d been fencing each other was an understatement.
“That was bad form, all that kicking you were doing.” Hope sneered at Alice.
“Me?” Alice practically screeched. “What was with all the twists and turns? Give you a leather duster and you could have been a pirate.”
“Girls,” the specialist said, trying to regain some control over the situation, “can you please just shake hands?” But both girls refused. Hope shucked off the rest of the fencing gear, threw her sword onto the ground, and huffed off while Alice actually attempted to pull her hand out of her glove for a handshake. The specialist gave a shrug to Alice and picked up the gear Hope had thrown on the ground before announcing that formal fencing lessons would be every Tuesday and Thursday during Specials time. Alice slowly took off her gear and put it in the designated bins. As much as she would enjoy fencing over the summer, running into Hope was not something she was looking forward to, so she decided to try something else to avoid her.
But it wasn’t as easy as it sounded.
Archery had been the next special Alice wanted to try. And there was Hope, already there with her arrow nocked in her bow and an arrow practically in the bullseye. After a few tries of her own (and almost hitting Hope --accidentally-- twice), Alice realized that maybe watching archery was more fun than actually trying to shoot a bow and arrow. Especially, because Hope thought she was trying to hit her on purpose.
“It was an accident.” Alice gritted through her teeth.
“Sure it was.” Hope huffed, swishing her ponytail behind her and storming off with two of her friends in tow.
“God, why is she such a bitch?” Alice’s friend, Lori, asked. “Anyone can see you’re just not that coordinated.” Lori joked. “Maybe you should just stick with art.”
“Yeah.” Said Alice sheepishly. She put the archery equipment away and headed for the art shack.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Two days! It had been two days and Alice was already a thorn in her side!
“She’s like your stalker. She’s always showing up where you are.” Bianca huffed, sitting down on one of the benches in the ramada. Hope had needed to be away from the prying ears of her cabin.
“Yeah! Who does she think she is? It’s like she’s trying to be you.” Jen added in angrily, having just arrived from a trip to the Snack Shack. Even though they’d only been camp friends for the past four days, Hope, Bianca, and Jen had quickly bonded the way only 13-year-olds that had to live together could. She handed out packs of candy that she had got for them, gummy worms for herself and Bianca, and a pack of black licorice for Hope.
It was true that it seemed like wherever Hope was, Alice inevitably ended up there too. “There’s really only so many places one can go here, girls. I mean, we only have so many choices.” Hope said, opening her bag of licorice and taking a bite. She still hesitated to be around Alice, but it’s not like they could go anywhere outside of the boundary of the campgrounds. “I appreciate the sentiment though.” Hope said happy for the support. “I know it’s not rational, to dislike someone just because they look almost identical to me.” Her blue eyes looked to the ground.
“Hey, no matter what, we’ve got your back.” Bianca reminded her.
“And speaking of having your back,” Jen said, pulling out a piece of paper from her back pocket, “look at this.” She unfolded the paper and smoothed it down in front of them. It was an announcement for a dance.
“They’ve invited the boys camp from across the lake!” Jen said excitedly. The flyer announced that the dance would be in one week. “I can’t wait! I’ve never been to a dance.” She pressed the flyer to her lips and kissed it.
“Want to get a first kiss?” Bianca asked teasingly.
“What, like you’ve been kissed?” Jen responded back not so teasingly.
“I’ve been kissed.” Hope spoke up to diffuse the situation. She was older than most of her cabinmates, her birthday being in September, only three months away, so she did have a little bit more experience than some of them. Both girls’ eyes lit up.
“What was it like?” Jen asked.
“I bet it was super romantic.” Bianca said dreamily.
Hope, laughed and then cringed. “Um, my best guy friend and I tried kissing a few weeks before school got out. We’ve been friends since fourth grade.” She blushed at the embarrassment of the memory, Bianca and Jen hanging on her every word. “It was tech week for our school play, Peter Pan. I was Peter. That’s how I know how to sword fight.” Bianca and Jen both gave Hope an exasperated look as she started going off topic. “ Sorry. Anyway, he was on backstage crew and we were outside waiting for our parents to come pick us up. I saw my mom’s car and as I went to give him a hug like I usually did, because that’s just how we are, and he kissed me.”
Both Bianca and Jen’s eyes looked like they were going to bug out of their heads and they both had the widest grins on their faces.
“So, how was it?” Jen asked, breaking the awkward silence of them both staring at Hope.
“Wet.” The girls laughed. “And weird. We didn’t know what we were doing. And he had braces. And, I think I can wait before getting kissed again.” The girls all dissolved into giggles. “I was really glad I was going to camp for the summer so I wouldn’t have to see him everyday. We both agreed to just stay friends.” Hope had not told her mother, even though she was bursting to. Hope knew that her mother had had bad luck with men, her father on the top of that list, and she really didn’t know how her mother would react to her having been kissed. She had confessed to Henry though. He told her he was the same age when he’d had his first kiss as well, which made her feel better about the whole thing.
“That’s still so exciting!” Bianca said breathlessly and finished up the last of her gummy worms. “I don’t know how you can eat black licorice.” She made a face to show what she really thought of it.
“I don’t like sweet stuff.” Hope scoffed and took a large bite of licorice.
“Whatever.” Jen said, grabbing her trash and throwing it away. “Let’s get back to the cabin so we can figure out what we’re going to wear to this dance.”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Did you hear about the dance?” Viola practically screamed as she rushed into the cabin. Alice looked up from where she’d been sketching the view from her window, not the greatest view, but Alice was trying to make her grass look more realistic and less like pencil strokes on the page.
“A dance?” Lori asked almost falling off her bunk to look at the flyer Viola had in her hands. They looked over the flyer as several other girls in the cabin also flocked over to them to peruse the flyer; all of them talking excitedly about finally getting to dress up a bit and getting to see members of the opposite sex after two weeks. This inevitably brought up the girl’s experiences with boys (not that they seemed to have a lot), a conversation that Alice felt uncomfortable with. Alice didn’t have much interest in boys yet (something she was sure her Papa was happy about). She wasn’t quite sure how she felt about them in general, let alone to do things with. She had her Papa and that’s really all she needed. That and her art. Just leave her in a beautiful location for a few hours with a sketch pad and some drawing utensils and she was happy.
“What about you, Alice?” Lori, a bushy haired girl asked after regaling the girls in the cabin with a tale of how the first guy she had kissed had also tried to cop a feel and had only discovered the tissues she’d stuffed into her bra.
“Oh, me?” Alice asked. “No kissing for me. I’m not really good with boys.” Once again, Alice was feeling like an oddball.
“Don’t worry,” said Viola, coming to sit over near Alice and taking her hand, “not all of us are boy crazy.” Viola smiled sweetly at her. Alice’s stomach nearly did a somersault.
Oh!
“Thanks.” Alice said giving a shy smile back and keeping their hands clasped a little while longer before pulling it away to continue her drawing.
Alice decided she would just find a chair out on the patio and sketch during the dance, since (according the the flyer) the whole shebang was mandatory. She would have rather stayed in her cabin during the dance instead of watching her cabinmates flirt badly with the boys.
Unfortunately, the intention of finding a boy to dance with for the night that Hope had been banking on, and the quiet drawing in the corner that Alice had hoped for (and maybe talking to Viola a bit more), did not end up coming to fruition.
It had started out great. Hope, Bianca, and Jen were in their pack and had all been asked to dance by boys in their own group. Sterling had been the one to catch Hope’s eye. He seemed quiet and reserved, and upon speaking to him for a little bit, found that he was very much into science.
“I’ve never been that good with science myself,” Hope told him sweetly when he brought up some experiment he was doing with blue lights at his camp, “but I know crime novels use blue and black lights to find blood at crime scenes.” She said hoping that she hadn’t come off as creepy. Luckily, Sterling thought it was adorable. He smiled at her and she noticed he was not wearing braces, even better.
Meanwhile, Alice had attempted to cajole Viola to come hang with her outside while she drew a picture of the lake in the moonlight. She’d brought some of her charcoal so she was making quite a mess of herself, but she wasn’t planning on doing much dancing or interacting with anyone else. “I’ll come out here later when I need a drink, okay?” Viola had said, smiling at her again. The drinks and refreshments had been set up under the patio not too far from where Alice had situated herself. She just hoped that none of the directors would notice her out here and try to make her come inside.
Alice had probably been outside all of 30 minutes when her gut started telling her something was wrong. She looked up at the sky thinking maybe rain was coming, but it was a clear, cloudless night. She looked over to the refreshment table and saw Hope talking with a boy. That must have been what set it off. She didn’t need any trouble from Hope right now, so she went back to her drawing. But it wasn’t meant to be.
After a few minutes a male voice asked her. “What are you drawing?” Alice looked up to see the boy that Hope had just been talking to looking over her shoulder at the barely started drawing.
“Um,” Alice said nervously, “just drawing the lake in the moonlight.” She looked back at the landscape in front of her determined not to continue this conversation. The last thing she needed was for Hope to have another reason to not like her just because this boy wanted to talk to her too.
She continued to draw and glanced over at the refreshment table to see a few girls she didn’t recognize hanging out and talking, when he spoke again.
“Are you just going to ignore me all night? I thought we’d hit it off pretty well in there.” Alice closed her eyes and gave a nervous laugh. Of course he thought she was Hope. Her doppelganger must have either gone to the restroom or ditched him and now he was out here thinking she was the girl he’d been talking to all evening.
“I’m not Hope.” she said plainly, still not looking up from her drawing.
“Are you seriously trying to pretend you’re someone else right now?” He asked incredulously. Alice rolled her eyes at the ridiculousness of this whole situation.
“I’m not Hope. We just look alike. Tell me, how did I all of a sudden get purple streaks in my hair and have charcoal on my hands if I was with you?” She huffed. The boy opened his mouth to say something when the girl in question came out the double doors and immediately stopped at the scene in front of her.
“What the hell is going on out here?” Hope asked, hands crossing over her chest like armor. She was glaring at Alice, like the boy talking to her was her fault.
“I…, I mean…” The boy looked very confused as he turned his head looking at both girls.
“Mistaken identity. He thought I was you.” Alice said finally putting her drawing notebook and charcoal down and getting up from the chair she’d been sitting in all night. Her explanation did not seem to pacify Hope at all.
“Seriously, Sterling?” Hope walked over, the niggling in Alice’s gut getting worse. “You couldn’t tell the difference between us?” Sterling, for his part, had turned bright red and seemed quite embarrassed about the mix-up. “And you!” Hope said, swinging her body toward Alice’s. “I’m sure you didn’t have any part of this at all. I saw you out here before when we were talking. Hanging on every word.”
Alice was very confused as to what was happening now. She’d been sitting outside drawing and minding her own business. She hadn’t encouraged the boy in any way and now Hope was accusing her of intentionally, what, pretending to be her in this whole thing?”
“Look, Hope, I didn’t…” But Alice never got to finish her sentence as she felt a stinging sensation overcome her whole face. Hope stood across from her staring at her own hand as if she couldn’t believe she’d just slapped Alice. Sterling snuck off as the gaggle of girls who’d been chatting at the refreshment table stopped to watch the scene that was unfolding.
Alice held her hand to her face, not believing that Hope had had the audacity to slap her. And at the same moment, rage at this whole situation finally reached its boiling point, and Alice slapped Hope back, leaving a charcoal handprint across Hope’s face. Alice immediately put both hands over her mouth, horrified at what she had done.
“I’m sorry.” Alice said quickly, trying to diffuse the whole situation, but Hope 's eyes were practically black from her seething anger and she grabbed Alice’s hair and yanked her to the ground.
Alice was vaguely aware that there were screams coming from the other participants of the dance. That someone had yelled for the director, Mrs. Hatfield and the director of the boys camp. That Lori and Viola and Hope’s two friends all came out to try and convince the girls to stop fighting. Everything seemed to be happening in slow motion.
As Hope dragged Alice down to the ground, Alice grabbed Hope around the knees, pulling her down to the ground as well. Hope immediately tried to gain the upper hand by straddling Alice and trying to slap her again, but Alice managed to roll her over so she was on top. They both kept rolling each other over, trying to regain the upper hand when they hit the refreshment table. More screaming abounded as the table came crashing down. Alice managed to avoid the punch from drenching her (as she happened to be on top when it came down on Hope), but Hope managed to wrench her over right as the ranch dressing came down on her face.
“Girls! Girls!” Mrs. Hatfield screamed. The director of the boys camp finally managed to pull Hope off of Alice (who now also had bits of chips in her hair), and get the two girls separated.
Mrs. Hatfield had seen enough. “In all my years,” she said, trying to maintain some semblance of control in her voice, when all she wanted to do was rant and rave at these girls, “this has been the most revolting, the most disgusting display of hooliganism we have ever had.” Alice hung her head in shame. For once her gut had led her down the wrong path and she would have to pay the price. “And from sisters who should be leading by example…”
“We’re not sisters!” Hope exclaimed, appalled that she had been brought into this as an instigator. Mrs. Hatfield’s mouth dropped and she looked from Hope to Alice and then back to Hope again.
“But they are, aren’t they?” Mrs. Hatfield asked the two other directors who were assessing all the food and drink that were now on the floor.
“Uh, no.” said one director with curly, red hair  who looked between the two girls. “We have here, Alice Jones and Hope Swan. They just happen to look alike.”
Mrs. Hatfield looked at both of them again as if she couldn’t quite believe what she was hearing, but then gave up on trying to figure out why they looked so much alike when they weren’t actually related.
“You two will clean up this mess and then tomorrow you will pack your bags to move into the Get Along Cabin up the hill.” She said firmly.
“But…” Hope started to protest. She couldn’t believe she’d gotten herself into this situation. The moment she had slapped Alice she knew she’d been in the wrong, but it was like she couldn’t stop herself. Mrs. Hatfield cut her off with a look that would stop the deadliest murderer from coming anywhere near her.
“You have two hours to make this back porch spotless and then tomorrow you will have until noon to pack up your stuff. Are we clear?” She barked at them. Hope and Alice nodded. Mrs. Hatfield walked past the two sullen girls, motioned for the rest of the campers to follow her, and left the two girls on the back porch. Hope and Alice looked at each other, neither one wanting to admit that they were somewhat at fault, and began to start cleaning up what they could. Alice realized, after they cleaned the entire back porch, that her drawing notebook and charcoal must have ended up in the lake during the scuffle.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hope was determined to ignore Alice. Since they had been made to inhabit the Get Along Cabin, Hope had not said one word to her. Alice watched the first two days as Hope would get up in the morning with the camp radio station that blared into the cabin at 7AM, grab her things for a shower (their cabin boasted it’s own bathroom complete with shower, so they always had hot water and only had to share with each other, and not trek down the hill to the communal one), got ready after her shower, and headed down to the mess hall for breakfast. Alice liked to take her time in the mornings, especially since she and Hope had to also share the Get Along Table for all their meals. Luckily, they were able to join their own cabins for daily activities, but meals and free time were all spent together so they could learn to ‘get along’. Alice kept herself busy reading and rereading books she had brought with her, or drawing in another one of her notebooks. The bad gut feeling that Alice always had around Hope had calmed down immensely since they’d been made to cohabitate, and Alice, for the first time, wondered what her gut had been trying to tell her.
Hope, on the other hand, knew this whole thing was her fault but refused to admit it. She was being stubborn (like her mother). She had no idea what had compelled her to slap Alice when seeing the look on Sterling’s face told her that he had honestly mixed up the two girls. She just knew that she was so angry that a boy she kind of liked couldn’t tell the difference between them and it had really made her angry.  She felt that her whole camp experience had been ruined by this girl and no amount of ‘I’m sorry’s’ were going to make up for that. Even if she needed to be the one to apologize to Alice. So she continued to ignore her instead.
Hope had known Alice liked to draw, but she didn’t realize how much she drew and just how good she actually was. She’d been drawing the past two days any time they were in the cabin. After each picture was finished being drawn, she would carefully rip it out of the book and tape it up on the wall by her bed. Many of them seemed to be landscape drawings of a small town that boasted an old clock tower above, what Alice had mumbled, was a library. Other drawings were of people that Hope had originally assumed were in Alice’s life, but when she drew a picture of what looked like a huntress version of Snow White and Prince Charming, Hope assumed that they were either part of Alice’s imagination, or maybe video game or cartoon characters. Hope still refused to talk to Alice so she couldn’t ask her what they were all about.
On the third day of their isolation, it rained. Cold, windy rain that made the campgrounds into a giant mud pit, so everyone had to stay in their cabins after lunch. Which meant Hope and Alice were stuck with each other until either the rain stopped or dinnertime. Hope was bored out of her mind. Unlike Alice, she had not thought to bring cabin activities to do when stuck in a cabin. She figured being at camp all the entertainment was provided for you. She hadn’t counted on downtime due to a rainy day.
It was unbearably muggy in the cabin, even though the rain brought cooler temperatures, the humidity was still clinging making Hope feel hot and sticky even though she had goosebumps. She figured opening the window a touch wouldn’t be that bad, just enough to cool the room down, or at least give her a bit of a breeze in which to lower her body temperature.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t what happened. Hope attempted to partially open the window, but it was as if it had a mind of its own and sprang open all the way. One little tug and rain and wind came pouring into the room!
“Oh, crap!” Hope exclaimed as she tried to get the window back down. A gust of wind and a torrential downpour of rain came sweeping into the room.
“HELP!” Hope screamed as papers started getting blown around the room and her bedspread started to get soaked.
Alice had been listening to music through an old iPod (cell phones were not allowed at camp, and even if they were, the reception was probably terrible) with earbuds in her ears when she heard Hope screaming. She took a deep breath, wondering what had happened that made Hope actually want to speak to her. She looked over to see rain pouring in the window onto Hope’s bed, and her drawings being blown off the walls and getting absolutely soaked.
She immediately tore the earbuds out of her ears and ran over to help. It took both of them, but they eventually got the window down to just a crack, enough to help cool the room but not enough for the rain and wind to get in.
“Oh, no!” Hope said, looking at the mess that had befallen the room. She started picking up the drawings that had been blown off the walls. “I’m so sorry.”
Just a few days ago Alice’s gut would’ve made her believe that Hope had done this on purpose and she would have been seething with anger. But today, today her gut was telling her Hope was being completely sincere. And why hadn’t it been doing this before. Why had she thought Hope was this horrible person after barely meeting her and over a stupid boy? She was 13 for goddess sake, she should know better than that.
“It’s okay.” Alice said, trying to save some of the pieces. She’d try and hang them over the radiator and see if they could be salvaged.
“Did you draw all these?” Hope asked, picking up one of the least wet pieces of artwork. It was one that Alice had done based off a book she’d read. It was Red Riding Hood, but retold as if she were also the wolf. Alice had drawn her with her red cloak billowing around her with a wolfish grin upon her lips. It was a stunning picture.
“Yeah. They’re based on a book I read.” Alice said not wanting to give Hope more information then she’d asked for. Their relationship was tentative at this point and her drawings were a sore spot for her when they were made fun of.
“They’re really good.” Hope said, now looking at the picture of the Evil Queen from Snow White. She definitely did not look like the Disney version, with the high ponytail and low plunging dress with bustier. “What book?”
“Um, it’s a new series. The first book came out a year ago, the sequel should be out right when camp ends. It’s called Once Upon a Time.” Alice gathered the rest of her drawings up from Hope as she explained the book. When it had come out, Alice felt as if someone had reached straight into her dreams and put them on the page. She’d always loved a good alternative fairy tale, but she’d seen these characters in her mind for years. It was like the author had created these characters directly from her brain.
Hope gasped. “Once Upon a Time by Henry Mills?” She asked incredulously. Alice nodded and Hope broke out into a huge grin. “That’s my brother. He wrote it.” Alice almost dropped the pictures on the damp floor again.
“Your brother is Henry Mills, the author of the book I’m currently obsessed with?” Alice couldn’t believe it. She’d almost become mortal enemies with the sister of her most favorite author. Stupid gut feeling. “You must tell me everything you know about the sequel?” She asked, now overly excited.
“Uh, I actually haven’t read it.” Hope admitted. She wasn’t much for fairy tales. She preferred crime and mystery novels. Alice’s eyes almost bugged out of her head at her admission.
“Your brother wrote a book and you didn’t even read it?” Alice asked, appalled. She ran over to her bed and Hope thought she might be ignoring her again, but then she realized she was searching through her belongings.”Ah ha!” she exclaimed when she found what she was looking for. It was a copy of Henry’s book with a brown cover that was supposed to mimic leather with gold lettering.
“Isn’t your last name Swan?” Alice asked as she brought the book over to Hope.
“Pen name.” Hope said, shrugging. She opened the book to the table of contents. She knew it was a book of fairy tales, that much Henry had told her, but Hope preferred reality to fantasy. Something she definitely picked up from her mother. Give her a good crime drama any day over a sappy Disney movie. The first chapter was entitled Wanted: Snow White for Crimes Against the Queen: Murder, Treason, Treachery. Well that was definitely different from the Disney version. The second chapter was titled A Wolf in Red Clothing, the third simply Elf Tonic.
Hope turned the page to the first chapter to see a wanted poster illustrating the chapter title. It was a pencil drawing of Snow White on a wanted poster with her crimes listed below her face. The drawing looked slightly familiar to Hope. Something about the chin, she couldn’t put her finger on it. Henry probably had it around his apartment when he was in the development stages and she’d seen it there and forgotten. But it tickled at her brain.
“They don’t seem to be your typical fairy tale fare do they?” Hope said flipping through to see other pencil drawn illustrations throughout the book.
“They are so much better. No damsels in distress in need of rescuing by a big strong prince, lots of women power and what not. Characters popping in and out of other fairy tale’s stories, and earned True Love’s Kiss. Your brother has a very vivid imagination!” Alice said excitedly.
“What’s this?” Hope asked, flipping to the final picture in the book, a baby being put into what looked like a tree with the name Emma on her baby blanket.
“It’s the whole impetus for the next book! What happens to Emma in the Land Without Magic after her father saved her from the Evil Queen’s curse to make everyone unhappy forever. She’s supposed to be the Savior and bring back the happy endings!”  Hope ran her fingers over the picture, almost as if she were looking at a memory, rather than a fictional drawing.
“Our mother’s name is Emma.” Hope said pensively. “I didn’t realize Henry named a character after her. She’s amazing. Raised both of us without a dad. I guess he was in our lives for a little bit, considering the age difference between me and Henry, but he died when I was two, so it’s just been us and her for pretty much my whole life. She didn’t grow up with any family, so I guess it’s fitting...” Hope said wistfully, her heart suddenly so thankful that Henry decided to name a character in his book after their mother and make her the hero she always felt she was. “What about you, Alice? What’s your mother like?” Hope asked, wanting to take the spotlight off of her.
The smile that had been on Alice’s face vanished. She didn’t necessarily look sad, just void of emotion. “I don’t have a mother, just me and my Papa. My mother also died when I was two.” She took the book back from Hope, closed it, then sat to face Hope. “That’s weird, right? That both of us lost a parent when we were two?” Alice looked at Hope expectantly, waiting for something more from her, but she just looked down at the ground.
“There was a fire at our apartment. Papa got me out, Mama wasn’t so lucky. After that we moved out of Boston to the country. He still works in the city though, he just wanted something better for us and he didn’t want reminders of my mother all over the place. I don’t even have any pictures of her, something about them getting all burned up in the fire. I’m not sure why they didn’t have any in the Cloud or Google Photos or whatever. The only picture I’ve ever seen of my mother is a pencil sketch my Papa did when they first met.” Alice set her head back against Hope’s bed frame where they’d been sitting down on the floor. She glanced over at Hope who was looking over at her with wide eyes. “What?” Alice said, concerned.
“My father died in a fire too.” Hope barely whispered. “Mom got me and Henry out, but she couldn’t get back in for him. And the only pictures I’ve seen of him are from when he and my mom originally met, before he left her the first time. Somehow, all our pictures were lost in the fire, which, like you said, makes no sense seeing as we all have computers and smart phones and what not.” It was Alice who now had wide eyes when Hope looked over at her. “Don’t you think that’s weird?” Hope continued, “That we look alike and that we both lost a parent in a fire and that we have barely any pictures of the other parent. What’s your dad’s name?” Hope asked, all sense of pretense going out the window. She suddenly felt like they could be connected somehow. This overwhelming heaviness had invaded her body and she needed answers that could make it go away. There was no way they had this much in common without there being something connecting them.
“Killian Jones.” Alice answered immediately, because her gut was going crazy, practically pushing her to find these answers. “And your mother?”
“Emma Swan.” Hope replied. They sat in silence, not sure where to go from there. The answers hadn’t brought any huge revelation. Neither name meant anything to the other.
“When’s your birthday?” Alice asked. “Mine is September 27th.” If they had the same birthday that could still mean something. Maybe the reason for no photographs had been because of something else.
“September 28th.” Hope said. They both deflated a little. Until…
“What time were you born, Hope? I was born at 9:07 at night. I know because Papa always reminds me that it was the beginning of this huge lunar eclipse that also happened to fall on the Harvest Moon that year and it was called the Super Moon, so he used to call me his Super Harvest Baby.” Alice smiled at the memory. She looked over at Hope whose mouth was practically on the ground.
“I was born at 12:27, right when it ended. My mom also used to call me her Super Harvest Baby.” Hope paused as if she were thinking of the next thing to say. “This can’t be a coincidence. I...I,” She paused again, trying to get the right words out. “I think we might be twins, just born on either side of midnight.” Hope struggled to get the words out, her eyes now filling with tears at the prospect that she might not only have a sister she didn’t know about, but a twin sister at that.
The two girls stared at each other for a while, not sure what to do with the information that they both felt was the truth. Hope had felt the weight that had been pressing on her lift the moment she had suggested they were twins. Alice’s gut had stopped sending her warning signals too. They both felt this had to be true, they just couldn’t figure out how it could be true.
“Do you think we were separated somehow? Maybe our mother and father adopted us and we’re not biologically theirs?” Alice wondered aloud.
“No. I’m the spitting image of my mom, and so are you I suppose, just with blue eyes instead of green. And my dad had brown eyes, so I know they didn’t come from him.” Hope said, disputing Alice’s theory right off the bat.
“But my I have my dad’s blue eyes, which would also mean you do too.” Alice contemplated.
“Maybe they lied to us about the fire. It seems awfully convenient now that our other parent is dead and all the pictures of us with that parent disappeared.” Alice said grimly. She really didn’t like the thought of her Papa lying to her about something that important, but it seemed the only logical conclusion at the moment.
“Henry!” Hope all but yelled in Alice’s face. Alice looked at her confused. “Henry! He was 15 when I was born. Certainly he would know the whole story. Hopefully, he would tell me the whole story.”  She suddenly looked concerned. “We need to talk to him somehow. I don’t want to freak him out in a letter, which means I somehow need to call him.” She started pacing the cabin. “But the directors won’t let us use phones. Even if we were in better standing than we currently were.” Hope said, getting more and more distressed.
“I think I can help you with that part.” Alice announced as her face widened into a huge smile.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was lunch time the next day before Alice finally clued in Hope as to what she meant. Since they were in the Get Along Cabin, they were also forced to eat lunch at their own table away from the rest of the cabins. But Alice’s friend, Lori, from her former cabin, had managed to sneak a cell phone into camp and was using that to get money, food, and other sundries from her cabin mates.
Alice walked by her former cabin after receiving her lunch in line and gave a series of knocks on the table as she walked by. That was apparently the signal to let Lori know that she was interested in using the phone. Alice continued walking to the table she and Hope shared to eat lunch.
“That’s it?” Hope asked, having watched Alice give the signal.
“Yes. She’ll get in touch with us at some point today. You better have some money ready for her or she won’t give us anything.” Alice said, taking a bite of her sandwich which looked to her to be just orange marmalade and bread. Hope grimaced.
“What, it’s good.” Alice said, defending her sandwich choices.
They didn’t hear from Lori until after lights out that night. Hope’s anxiety was getting the best of her, convinced that her mother had been lying to her about her father her whole life. Alice was taking it more in stride, as she didn’t get flustered easily. That and her gut didn’t seem to sense that her father had ever lied to her, which made things more confusing.
A series of knocks, similar to the ones Alice had tapped on Lori’s table earlier that day, sounded from the other side of the door. Alice knocked back before letting Lori in. Hope rolled her eyes over the whole spy scenario they had going on.
After the door closed, Alice finally spoke. “Hope needs to make a phone call.” Lori looked at Hope, only knowing that she was the rival of her friend.
“Why should I help her?” Lori asked scrutinizing Hope who sat on her bed practically ignoring the whole conversation. “She doesn’t even look like she wants my help.”
“I do want your help.” Hope said with a sigh. “I need to call my brother. It’s an emergency and it concerns both myself and Alice, so name me your price so we can just get this over with, please.”
Lori arched a bushy eyebrow at Alice who nodded in agreement. “20 bucks.” she said simply.
“20 bucks for a phone call?” Hope asked incredulously, but this phone call was important and she really needed to talk to Henry.
“Hey, you took way more than that playing poker the other night.” Lori retaliated. Hope sighed. Lori was right. She’d walked away with at least $40 in quarters and ones. Hope walked over to her bed and pulled out a small box from under it and grabbed twenty ones. She stood up and walked back over to Lori and gave her the money. Lori made a big show of counting the money out before handing the phone over to Hope.
Hope dialed the number for Henry’s phone, thankful that she’d had his cell phone number memorized since she was six in case of emergencies, and praying that he answered even though it would come up as an unknown number. Surprisingly, he answered on the first ring.
“Hello?” Came the voice of her brother from the other side of the line.
“Oh, Henry, thank goodness. It’s Hope.” She said relieved.
“Aren’t you supposed to be at camp?” He asked, and then, “Are you alright? Do I need to come rescue you?” Big Brother Henry, always looking out for Little Sister.
“No, everything’s fine. Or, well….I don’t really know how to explain it.” She paused trying to get her bearings. Alice had distracted Lori from listening in by showing Lori her newest drawings that she’d done since moving into the Get Along Cabin. It seemed that Lori was a big fan of Alice’s artwork. Hope took a deep breath, “Um, there’s a girl here, who looks almost, well no, she is, identical to me. Her name is Alice.” She paused trying to see if she could hear any type of reaction from Henry, but there was nothing but the sound of his breathing on the other end. “Anyway, we have some questions, and, well, I thought you might be able to answer them.”
Henry remained silent for so long that Hope almost had to check the phone to see if they were still connected. After what seemed like forever, she heard Henry sigh.
“Do you have a day when your camp goes into town that I could possibly meet you?” He asked, and then, “Meet you and Alice?”
Hope looked over at the camp calendar that showed all the outings the camp would take during the six weeks. Sure enough, there was a town day coming up in two days. Hope told Henry this and they made plans to meet at a small coffee shop that Henry found through Google Maps.
“Do you know who she is, Henry? Do you know anything about what is going on?” Hope asked, her voice sounding really small.
Again, a resounding silence on Henry’s side. Hope could almost see him warring with himself whether to tell her anything or wait until he saw her in two days, and then she heard him sigh. The sigh she recognized as the Little Sister had won sigh.
“She’s your sister. You and Alice are twins.”

When the team got back from their mission Natasha went straight to Y/N’s room to check on her. When she opened the door and found the bed empty she started to panic, she had told her to go see Bruce if she got any worse.
"F.R.I.D.A.Y where's Y/N?" Nat asked the A.I.
"Agent Y/L/N was taken to medical by Captain Rodgers and Mr Stark"
"Shit!" Nat cursed as she turned and started running towards the medical floor.
"Nat? Whats going on?" Bucky asked seeing her running towards him.
"Y/N was taken to medical! I knew there was something wrong with her before we left! I should've trusted my gut and taken her there myself!"
"Well lets go check on her then" he said getting into the elevator with Nat.
Nat rushed out of the elevator and saw Tony and Bruce standing at one of the doors looking in while they spoke quietly to eachother.
"Hey, what happened is she okay?" Nat asked quickly wanting answers.
"Shes fine, we handled the situation" Tony said truthfully "did you not get my message? I tried calling you"
"My phone got trashed in the fight...."
"Its been an interesting night lets just start there" Bruce said running a hand through his hair.
"Interesting is the biggest understatement of the year Banner! It was literally the shock of a lifetime!! Especially for that girl in there" Tony said pointing towards the room behind him.
"Does someone wanna tell me what the hell is going on??" Nat snapped.
"You should probably take a look for yourself.... you’d never believe me otherwise".
Natasha walked over quickly, as she looked into the room Y/N was sleeping soundly.... Steve was sat in the chair next to her..... with a baby??!!
"What the fuck...... she.... she was pregnant???" Nat said turning to face the men behind her.
"What??" Bucky asked walking over to see for himself.... when he saw Steve holding the tiny baby in a yellow blanket he turned to the others looking horrified.
"Yep, a healthy baby girl. Born at 04:34am weighing 5lb 9oz delivered by yours truly!" Tony said sounding pleased of himself.
"How is that possible..... theres no way...." Nat was saying quietly to no one in particular.
"If you’re this shocked, can you imagine how shes feeling?" Bruce said nodded towards the room.
"Is it Steve's?" Nat asked seeing him holding the tiny baby and smiling.
"They say its not, she wont tell us who the father is until shes had a chance to tell him first"
"So she didnt know she was pregnant?" Bucky asked from beside Nat, his eyes glued to the tiny baby in Steves arms.
"Not a clue. She thought she had bad stomach flu" Bruce answered looking over her chart.
"She had been sick, she told me she thought it was stomach flu before we left. This is huge!"
"No shit" Tony rolled his eyes "she's gonna be out for a while, you want me to call you when she wakes up?"
"Yeah that would be good" Nat nodded
"I'm gonna check in with Steve quickly and make sure he’s okay" Bucky said and walked toward the room.
"just keep it down i don't want her waking up yet, shes had a tough night"
"Sure" Bucky nodded and headed inside.
Steve looked up when he heard the door open and smiled at his best friend.
"Guess you guys heard about the unexpected visitor we had" Steve said looking down at the baby in his arms.
"Yeah.... they just told us.... a..are they both okay?"
"Yeah they’re both perfect. Y/N is wiped out but after what she went through i cant say i blame her. It was amazing Buck!"
"You were there?... for the birth?"
"Yeah she wouldn't let me leave" he chuckled "that woman has got one hell of a grip i tell ya! Nearly crushed my hands. And this little lady..... i cant stop staring at her Buck! Shes so tiny and perfect. Look!" Steve motioned for Bucky to come and take a closer look at the baby.
"Wow.... shes beautiful! Look at her tiny little hands...."
"She keeps making the cutest little cooing sounds i swear my heart is melting for this kid" Steve gushed as Bucky pulled up a seat "You wanna hold her?" Steve offered his friend.
"No.... no i might hurt her" he said looking down at his metal arm.
"You wont, it'll be fine. Besides i really need to go to the bathroom"
"Oh... Okay" he said letting out a shaky breath as Steve stood up and passed him the baby.
"You good?" Steve asked checking with Bucky before he left.
"Yeah.... i got her" he nodded settling the baby in his flesh arm.
"I'll be right back" Steve assured him before slipping out quietly.
Tumblr media
The room was quiet as i slowly opened my eyes, i could already sense there was someone else in here with me but just assumed it was Steve still. When i turned to look i was shocked to see Bucky sitting in the chair holding the baby.
"Hey..... you’re back" i said quietly so i didn't surprise him.
"Hey, Yeah we got back about an hour ago" he replied with a small smile "you had a busy night huh?"
"You could say that" i said pulling myself up in the bed so i was sitting up against the pillows.
"She's perfect Y/N" Bucky stated looking down at the yellow bundle in his arms.
"Yeah she is" i agreed "Buck....she's yours" I added quickly, there was no easy way to tell him that he was a dad "you know that right?"
"I had a feeling she might be" he nodded slowly and gave me a smile. Bucky seemed surprisingly calm about the whole thing actually.
"I swear i had no idea i was pregnant! I would've told you if i did. Having this dropped on you is huge.... i mean we're not even together! It was a one time thing and now we're parents!" I rambled away nervously "i was still going on missions for christ sake!"
"Y/N you didn't know, of course you'd still go on missions"
"I don't expect you to be okay with this, i can do this on my own.... no one needs to know shes yours, if thats what you want?"
"Is that what you want?" Bucky asked looking at me with sad eyes.
"No! Of course i want you to be apart of her life.... she needs her dad too. Im not ashamed to tell people she's yours Buck" i added knowing that was what he was really asking. He was asking if i was embarrassed about people finding out i had slept with him "but if you’re not ready for this i completely understand, i wont pressure you into it".
"Hey, you’re awake" Steve said smiling as he walked back into the room again interrupting whatever conversation i was having with Bucky.
"Yeah" i nodded with a quick smile before looking over at Bucky holding our daughter.....It really was a beautiful sight, he was being so careful with her. Steve must have noticed something in the way i looked at Bucky and Bucky was looking at his daughter because he suddenly let out an "oh my god....".
Bucky and i both looked up at him with wide eyes "what?" We said in unison waiting for Steve to tell us what was wrong.
"Is.... is she...." he pointed at Bucky and looked at you for confirmation.
"Yeah, she's Bucky's" i confirmed casually trying my best to act like this wasn't a huge deal.
"I didn't even know you two were a thing.....you never said anything Buck?"
"We're not together Steve thats why he never said anything" i said to save Bucky having to explain to his friend.
"So it was just a one time thing?"
"Yeah" i said with a shrug, i was trying my hardest to kept my shit together and keep calm. Keep my heart from trying to explode from my chest, i was pretty sure the two super soldiers could hear my heart racing though.
"Hey Steve, could you ask Nat to bring me a change of clothes down i really need to take a shower i feel disgusting" i said changing the subject before it became any more awkward.
"Sure, i know shes waiting to see you and meet this one here" he nodded to the baby in Bucky's arms "speaking of.... shes gonna need a name, have you thought about it yet?"
"Not yet, i don't want to rush into it and regret it. Parents normally have 9 months to decide on a name not 9 hours"
"Fair point" Steve chuckled "i'll go get Nat for you".
"Thanks.....hey Steve?" i called getting his attention as he reached the door.
"Yeah?"
"Thank you for being there for me today, it means a lot"
"Of course" he blushed before leaving me alone with Bucky and our daughter.
"I wish i could've been there" he said quietly "I'm sorry doll".
"Its fine, we didn't know what was going to happen Buck".
He nodded slowly but looked kinda sad that he had missed it, or maybe it was because Steve had been there and not him.
"I should go and let you get some rest"
"You can stay, you can watch her while i take a shower if you want?"
"You don't mind? You trust me with her?"
"Of course i do! Buck you’re her dad you’re not going to let anything happen to her".
"Id die before i let anything happen to her" he stated staring lovingly at her.
"See" i said with a chuckle "ive got nothing to worry about. Well almost nothing"
"What do you mean?"
"I have nothing for her, no clothes, diapers....no nursery. All i can do is feed her right now. Tony said he'll take care of it all but i feel bad leaving it all to him"
"He’s probably enjoying it doll you know what he’s like"
"Yeah i know, i just wish i had had time to do all that stuff myself"
"You would've kept her then? If you had found out you were pregnant?"
"I would" i nodded happily and truthfully.
A knock on the door pulled my attention and i turned to see Nat making her way in with a bag.
"Hey sweetheart, i leave you alone for a couple of hours and you go and have a baby?"
"Yeah sorry about that, who knew?" I laughed as she wrapped her arms around me and gave me a tight squeeze.
"Let me see!" She cooed as she walked over to Bucky to get a good look at the tiny bundle in his arms.
"Oh my god shes so precious! Absolute perfection. Y/N.... Can i hold her?"
Bucky looked like he didn't want to part with her but eventually handed her over to Nat gently.
"Hey I'm your auntie Nat. Uncle Bucky doesnt get to hog all the cuddles does he" she said rocking the baby gently.
"Erm about that Nat..... its not Uncle Buck.... she's his daughter"
Nat looked up at me with wide eyes and then looked at Bucky "what?? When did that happen??!" She said loudly causing the baby to stir slightly "shhhh im sorry baby girl go back to sleep" she said quietly.
"I'll give you two a few minutes to talk, i'll come back to watch our girl while you take your shower"
"Thanks Buck" i smiled and watched him leave the room.
"Sooooo, spill! You never told me you and Barnes were a thing!"
"We're not a thing, it was just the once"
"When?? You didn't even tell me you two slept together! We're supposed to be best friends!"
"You remember that mission we went on, the one where we had to stay at that safe house for the night to make sure they weren't tailing us?"
"Alaska?"
"Yep that would be the one. We were both beat up and were helping each other clean up.... one thing led to another and here we are" i said pointing to my baby daughter in Nat's arms.
"And it was just a one time thing...."
"Yeah, it never happened again. He acted like nothing had happened the morning after so i didn't make a big deal about it. We just carried on as normal" i shrugged.
"Did you want things to change? With you and Bucky i mean"
"Honestly? I was hoping it would" i finally admitted "i had liked him for ages Nat and when we finally.... i thought maybe he felt the same way. But clearly i was wrong"
"Y/N..... you should tell him! You guys have a daughter now"
"Thats not gonna make him suddenly want me Nat" i laughed "it doesn't matter anyway, I've already accepted that we'll only ever be friends" i said as i slowly climbed out of bed to grab the bag that Nat had brought with her.
"Hey be careful!" She said taking a few steps towards me.
"Im fine Nat just a bit sore, i can get out of Bed by myself" i told her as the door opened and Bucky came walking back in.
"take it easy doll, should you even be up and about yet?"
"Guys I'm fine, really" i tried to tell them "i just need a shower"
"Okay, Buck you wanna take your girl and i'll get momma to the shower" Nat said handing over the baby, he soon had his daughter settled against his chest and took a seat again.
"You’re a natural Barnes" Nat said sounding surprised walking over to me and taking the bag "lets go get you cleaned up".
"I wont be long Buck, you okay with her?" I asked wanting to make sure he felt comfortable being left alone.
"We're good, go take care of yourself. We'll be waiting for you when you get back" he smiled.

😈Future & his 'future'😈
This will be a long one, so I will try to keep my intro short (but I ramble, so whatever). How do I feel about Future? As a Scorpio man with a Sag dominance, he gives me hoe energy. Already. No offense if that's your make-up. He is also a mutable dominant, & if you know anything about mutable energy, it's flighty, it's everchanging, it 'gets bored quickly'. All that Sag energy, with a Gemini moon (it's polar opposite sign) can make a very conflicting & contradicting nature. If you don't know anything about me.. know I don't like fuck nigga/bitch energy. How do I feel about Eliza Reign? I'm no idiot. I know an 'exchange' when I see one. But darling, I wish you would have known better than to allow this into your life, because it is NOT what your daughter needs. With that said, we need to be more responsible with out eggs & seeds, be if we can't love the person we lay down & have kids with (or just LAY DOWN with, & HOP UP with kids), then those kids won't know the proper way to love with a proper raising (& no, you don't need the father to properly love your kids, but you gotta love twice as hard in that case, & if you can't get with something like that, then I feel sorry because that kind of dedication was never given, nor recieved. But neither here nor there, not my business nor place to judge, another convo for another day. Now how do I feel about Future & Lori Harvey...run, sis. He won't change, & all you'll be is another BM. Get out while you still can.
**DISCLAIMER**
I am not declaring, nor am I insinuating, that anything I say in my predictions are true accounts of any of the parties involved. This reading is for entertainment purposes only, & should only taken as such. All in good fun, folks 🤷🏾‍♀️🧿
😈What was the relationship between Future & Eliza Reign?😈
They actually have been dealing with one another for some time, before Eliza got pregnant. Future is the type to play mind games, & he manipulated the situation, however in a way where he would never claim that he was dealing with her. She was actually paid a pretty penny to keep things civil with her, or even 'for her services'. Ultimately Future never made things clear for her, but he was a charmer. I do believe, however, they were dealing with one another up until she announced her pregnancy, also meaning he cut her off afterwards. He was 'the magician' the situation, a trickster, but I feel like the victory was lost for him when he found out about the pregnancy. I feel he is already in a financial workhorse situation, because he has other children with other women, even though he takes his sweet time getting back to them as well. I also feel like he is aware of the fact that he is ducking this woman, but this could be because he believes everything to be a rumor. Eliza has come to a place of acceptance of not being as close to Future as she had hoped, & she is suffering with the heartache in silence. Knowing what she knew when it came to Future, even in the very beginning however, she still decided to entertain him, even though she knew it was nothing serious or that it will end the way that it ultimately did. Why? Financial opportunities. It has become an emotional challenge for her, but I feel she was ultimately cut out by way of an ultimatum; basically being cool with the terms & dealing with Future or being alone. I also feel like she has had to deal with other women that has dealt with Future, or his baby mamas. This other woman seems to be loyal to their situation, & she seems to be reactive off of her emotions, though this seems to be leaving obstacles & challenges on Future, having to deal with much conflict, major sacrifice, & past resentment. For Eliza, this was an emotional challenge for her & much drama. The choice she made was to come out of isolation after finding out she was pregnant, but Future as completely removed himself from the situation by this time. Eliza may have felt as though she couldn't come forward because of the hate train that would soon follow, but I feel she was guided to do so. I feel like regardless of the feedback she would get, she was still confident that she would be able to have a case & still had plans to move forward.
😈What were Eliza Reign's intentions with Future?😈
I feel like Eliza was very intuitive when it came to dealing with Future. She was well aware of the treatment; which seemed to be generosity in turn for pleasure. I don't think she predicted her own outcome for all of this, but to her, she was strictly around because she wanted to be. However it ended, she was going to fight against the backlash & stand up for herself. She would also accept all that is regarding the situation, in whatever way that would have been. I feel like she intended to gain clout from dealing with Future, though she also wanted material gain with him, but dealing with him is an unconventional way of life & I think he was already searching, as he possesses heartbreaker tendencies. He was fully involved with someone else (either he jump off or a BM) which caused Eliza to be casted off to the side. I feel like she knew she would become an outcast based off the fact that she doesn't need embarrassments or unwanted ties to certain women, but she's aware he always had other hoes. That didn't stop her however, because she was willing to be invested by him; she kind of had more of an emotional approach to their involvement, which became a disadvantage. Future was negative energy, but she was still a willing participant up until they became estranged from one another. I think that now, her intentions are to get support of her child because she is sure of her contact with Future, thus came about the lawsuit.
😈Future's feeling toward Eliza + the lawsuit?😈
Future doesn't believe Eliza has genuine intentions. He feel she is scorn after he stopped dealing with her. He also believes she tried to trap him, & is only after him for money/material gain. He really wants to be released from this situation/lawsuit because it is going to be a nightmare dealing with another child support check/BM. He has been doing all he can to skip out on the responsibility. He's seeing that being involved with Eliza was a bad choice on his part, & he would rather not have dealt with her at all. He is really fighting on not to have to pay her, & it may be a little on the side of not being sure about if her daughter is his. He didn't even want to have to deal with any of this in the public eye. His feelings are very clear cut; he doesn't want to have to pay her a dime. He also doesn't trust her & feel she's trying to manipulate the situation into her favor. He feels it is all speculation at this point. I do feel, however, if he was sure about the child's paternity, he wouldn't have a choice; he is fiercely fighting that possibility as much as possible. I feel like he would step up, in reluctance, to help support the child, but not any soon before he is sure that she is his child. He doesn't have any love for Eliza, in fact he thinks she's a manipulator, but he would come around to filling his responsibility. I feel he will be willing to claim the child once it is proven that he is, & when he becomes more comfortable with the idea of dealing with Eliza. It would be especially hard for him to coparent in that regard as well.
😈Does Future believe the baby girl is his?😈
He's aware of her 'type of woman' & he does believe she could be trying to stick the baby on him. If she is his, he would suck it up & handle his responsibility, but I don't think he truly believes he's the father, in fact he truly believes he isn't. I feel like he has trouble opening up to the idea of being the dad. He will be loyal to the child if it comes out that he is, but he honestly doesn't know; like I said before, he was hoping that this was all going to go away. He is aware that he is going to have to take this one to the chin, but it will make him uncomfortable. This will be conflicting to him, but he will be forced to step up to the plate whether he likes it or not.
😈Is there a possibility that Eliza's daughter is NOT Future's?😈
Not trying to be messy....but yes; this is giving me the energy that there is confusion around the paternity of the baby. Things honestly look deeper than what they appear on the surface, in fact, per her lifestyle, she has come in contact with more than just Future around the time of conception. Eliza seems to be a little cunning in this situation, because just as Future is unsure, she isn't sure either. Her strategy was to allow the information (or knowledge) of pregnancy to be enough to draw Future back to pay his dues. Truth be told, she was aware of the situation she was in, prior to claiming Future to be the father. Eliza is aware that this was something she created & she is focused on taking care of her daughter in spite of the paternity figure (whoever it may be). Being unsure has caused her distress and stress as well.
😈Outcome of the Lawsuit?😈
I feel like more secrets or incriminating information will continue to come up in this case, & a lot of it feels like revelation; things coming to the light. Future also knows he's in hot shit if he doesn't heed the warnings of the judge. I feel like Future is going to have difficulties in fulfilling his responsibilities, & it is going to financially drain him. I feel these are worries if he is the father. He is very much nervous about being dominated by these challenges of this case, but he will get to a point where he would put forth the effort that he has lacked in the past. If it comes back that he is the father, he will step up to the plate, but he is reluctant to do so. There is a lot of uncertainty surrounding the paternity of the baby too. Until that gets cleared up, there will never be a clear resolution in court. Future is 50/50 in regards to the child, but he would be more so loyal to the child than to Eliza, in fact he feels dealing with her would be a nightmare. His mindset is he isn't putting forth anything that he shouldn't be, which has got him into a lot of trouble. I feel like Future has been keeping tabs/a close eye on Eliza by way of people she knows. He is forced to bring forth balance, even though it has been conflicting to fulfill. I feel Future didn't want to open up to this, but I feel he will be putting forth minimal effort, but I'm not sure if he will respond to the judge in time. I feel a fire is lit under him in order to produce something of substance to the courts, but he is well aware that aside from all he puts forth, this case can still be in favor, or to his detriment. I feel like this would create complications to his relationships with his other women (besides Lori), but I feel they both don't trust one another, & would rather not deal with 1 another, & Eliza only wants him to take care of his possible responsibility. Future's time to respond is ticking, he may either make it in time or he will be able to convince the court for more time to produce DNA test. DEVELOPMENTS PENDING.
😈What is the energy between Lory Harvey & Future?😈
I feel like we are being deceived a bit when it comes to some things. Case in point, I don't think Future & Lori seemed to be going through an off and on energy. I feel like there is a hope here that the connection will work, but it has already been somewhat of a burden trying to keep it together. I feel like as much as they enjoy being in each other's company, it is starting to become much of a nuisance. I feel like they already took some distance or some sort of a break from one another, & it is a situation that seemed to occur in the past that was full of drama and conflict. I feel like they also have problems regarding finances, where they could have been blowing a lot of money together. I feel like a lot of their conflict is in regards to the reason they supposedly got married, & it may have been a pregnancy scare. I feel that there is a possibility that Lori could conceive with Future, but it may have happened before the 'marriage' announcement/rumor. I feel like the reason they separated is because of the possibility of this as well; I don't think Future was initially pleased. It really feels like they aren't in as much contact then when they first began 'dating'. However, I feel like Future may be keeping to himself for now. I feel like this possibility is a desire of a Lori's, & Future may be feeling the pressure behind it. I feel like Future could feel a way toward Lori, but I feel he has ulterior motives when it comes to the relationship. With that said, I don't think he would be open to having another child/BM. I also feel he is worried of this information getting to any of his other BMs, as well as the rest of the world, for the time being. I feel like Lori is wanting a family, Future is seeing this as in obstacle. There is much hope in Lori's mind, while this is kind of stressful for Future, but their true information of this is uncertain. I feel like Lori was also hopeful that Future was going to be open to the idea, which may start to be revealed to her as the opposite. I feel a lot of suspicion coming from Future as well, & he is contemplating his investment of marriage with Lori, & I feel he will come to resent it in the long run. I feel like other women is coming up as conflict for him as well. I feel his suspicion regarding her being pregnant is causing him to be defensive & have a guard up. Future doesn't feel the passion in this opportunity because of the conflict that it has created. He feels himself wanting to be isolated, & wanting to move away from the situation from her. I feel once he gets bored or dissatisfied, he will want to find happiness elsewhere. I think Lori is going to start seeing flaws in their relationship, if she hasn't already seen it. I feel under the surface, they aren't necessarily stable enough to allow for that level of commitment for so long. Future may have made a lot of promises that I don't feel he will be able to fulfill. I feel like a lot of their ways of getting noticed is a strategy. I also feel like their efforts to keep the relationship balance don't seem to hold off the disharmony for too long. I think it is also a strategy for the deeper workings of their relationship to not get out into the world.
😈Are Lori Harvey & Future married?😈
Short answer, no. Future isn't in that frame of mind, even though Lori is waiting for him to make that kind of real gesture to her. I think, IF they do, they may actually get married after he is done dealing with the courts. I also see that, if that happens, one of Future's BMs will come & try to sabotage it. I feel like there is one BM in particular (besides Eliza) that has been trying to expose this relationship. I don't see any of them pleased to be honest, but one in particular may come out of the wood work to try and humiliate Future/the relationship with Lori in some way. Future's excuse to Lori is that he had a lot going on, but it feels he is being pressure to propose/marry. Future isn't even thinking about proposing to Lori, however he feels she is 'something to invest in', so to speak. I think he feels like they will be dealing with one another for a while (I say 8 months tbh), but he is not expecting to marry Lori. Meanwhile, Lori may be waiting, to ultimately become bored by the relationship (I give her 7 months to express her disdain). She doesn't expect to last very long, let alone get married. Mutually, they don't feel the need to buy into what the world has to say. I feel like Future has other things he's focused on then to think about marriage. Lori could have even been the one to enforce it they are married, but it's in no seriousness.
😈Lori's feelings toward Future?😈
It feels like he hasn't done much to put forth to claiming the relationship in conflicting situations. I feel like they had some drama, which could have involved Future's other women, & he kept putting her through deceptive situations, & has yet to officially 'man up' about their relationship. He has continue to entertain other women throughout their relationship. I feel like she looks to Future to do more to solidify what they have going on to other people, but he still has other women he deals with on the side. I don't think she takes him a serious anymore because of this, yet they still continue to be back-and-forth. I feel like Lori has a problem with people affiliated with Future (side chicks, BMs, etc.) which causes her lot of drama. She also is reluctant to get pregnant by him, but she is being reckless in dealing with him altogether. She is well aware that Future isn't necessarily responsible in their relationship, for her main issue is that she isn't the main/number one girl to him; she basically wants him all to herself. I feel like he may be losing his appeal to her, & she feels like she is sick of the drama & BS that comes with being involved with him. He isn't a productive person within a relationship, & I feel the only way they bond is through sex, in her opinion. She hasn't really been pleased with him lately.
😈Future feelings toward Lori Harvy?😈
He feels it's been difficult to really settle down with her, manly because he isn't really ready to settle down with one person. He hasn't been straight up with her & has kind of been leading her on the whole time (shocker). Whatever delays that has been happening within their relationship were purposely delayed in action by way of Future's reluctance. I also think a big issue with him is that he doesn't want to have a baby with Lori, so I feel he has been flighty when it comes to fulfilling relationship responsibility. He isn't in a position to be a man who is settled down; he has some conflict with this, & he is being deceptive to her & the connection out of rebellion. It was fun & games to deal with Lori at first because the relationship it wasn't really about anything serious, but now that he is playing russian roulette with her ovaries, he's become somewhat reckless (not that he wasn't already) I don't think Future is being cautious about how he is dealing with his women, but he is pretty much actively taking control over them. I feel his fire for Lori is going out as well, because he already seems to be dealing with other people, & I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't have any shame about it.
😈Outcome of the relationship + what could end it?😈
I see Future's financial/legal woes starting to get the better of him, & this could become a wrench in his plans; to spoil Lori, really. I feel he is thinking to reapproach & possibly compromise/collaborate with a woman who is claiming financial investments for their pregnancy (to save time, we'll say this is Eliza). His biggest worry is that this suit doesn't drain him financially, because it is already a strain on him. He's also embarrassed by the way all of this has played out in front of the whole world. I feel them laying low together, but I feel the need to make the right decision & choosing it wisely. He definitely feels like he may make a decision to take a break from the relationship in order to do with his financial/legal issues. It's beginning to get a lot bigger mentally for him. He may just take time away from dealing with Lori to get himself straight, because he may need to get organized, or he's just delaying the inevitable changes he'd have to deal with. I feel there may be a pregnancy scare for Lori, & I feel like he may choose to be alone for when this happens. I also see him wanting to isolate himself a lot even from the possibility to slip up (because he's THAT irresponsible). He may become a lot more defensive or on edge, & his paranoia is going to prompt him to withdraw. I felt tensions will build if it comes out that she is in fact pregnant, because Future doesn't plan on sticking around. In fact, hes worried about having to be forced to fund another child financially. He is bound to repeat negative patterns & setting off that examples. I feel like if she IS pregnant, it may be an option to terminate the pregnancy (touchy subject, but I'm only reading with the card say) because of Future's reluctance & inability to want a baby. If she decides to keep the baby, we won't see her for the duration of her pregnancy, & she would probably be thinking to approach it in a different way. Not only that, she is going to be going through pain & betrayal behind the scenes with Future, & he will be even more of a manipulative person with her, if & when her (possible) pregnancy goes public. In short they will be fine, as long as she doesn't keep any pregnancies.
😈BONUS QUESTIONS😈
😈Is Future BROKE?😈
It's not that he's broke....he has a lot of legal issues that he has a difficult time meeting the wishes of the courts. To be fair, these BMs aren't letting up on him. I see women coming forward saying they are having his baby. It's going to be a lot coming at him financially, & they feel like women who aren't pleased with him (another shocker). He's going to have negative light shed on him again on how he isn't paying his dues as much. As much as he will make money, it will be requested of him at the courts as well. I see this coming out in the public, but it will possibly be a woman that lives at distance from where he is; it will also further drain his pockets. So I won't say that he's broke, rather he doesn't make enough for what he has to put back out.
😈Is Eliza 'doing everything for clout'?😈
There are ways she is able to take care of her daughter, but she feels it to be a disservice that he doesn't do anything to help out, & she's seen this happen before to other women. I feel she would rather not have all of the attention on her, but making noise would probably be the only reason the case is being looked at. She could care less if Future wants to silence her either. She would rather not deal with the other women or stress herself out of trying to coparent, because she would rather get her money & mind her business. She does want to bring attention to the truth about the situation; that truth being he isn't claiming Eliza or her baby. She wants him to have the choice to know the paternity, if it is his baby & he would like to be in her life, but she wants to have a peace of mind & some help in supporting her. She definitely feels it would be an issue with (some of) his BMs when it comes to a blended family, so she doesn't want to even be bothered with that either. She'd rather reach a compromise with Future, even though she isn't counting in it.
😈Will Eliza get what she asks for in child support?😈
In all honesty, the amount she asked for may not be what she gets. I feel it might actually be lowered. There is still a matter of paternity, so whether or not she will get a check is currently unclear, but as of right now a negotiation is still taking place.
😈Is Lori Harvey pregnant?😈
I don't see pregnancy for her at this time but I do see some hurt around if she were to get pregnant she doesn't feel she will get support from future I feel she wants to be careful in that regard in a way Laurie doesn't want to bring any issues into what they have going on and she respects his preference not to have kids or embarrass him I also feel like she already has his BMs; it feels like 3 of them are trouble out of the 5, but 1 in particular he still deals with taunts Lori with still having close ties to Future (the type that be like 'I still talk to him', 'he just left my house', 'how my pussy taste?' ass BM). She wouldn't feel at all welcome to his 'tribe'. It is a possibility that it can still happen if she isn't careful, but I don't feel it for her right now.
😈Does Future 'sleep around' on Lori Harvey?😈
He does. It is usually when they aren't together (like when either of them are removed from one another, by way of distance or time), but yes, he has flings as well as a 'favorite BM'. I actually feel like they broke up a little bit because of that, & I don't think their relationship was the same after. To put it plainly he has 'community dick'.
Now, let's let this marinate & watch it unfold 👀
