It’s at that point in the concert where there is a very intimate kiss cam, lead by the very own Shawn Mendes himself.

This was the first show you’ve been able to go to. You’re late to joining on tour, you were in school and then right when you were about to join a family emergency kept you home for another 2 months. 

But you’re finally here, and you’re the center of Connor’s attention. 

He happened to be walking past you, camera in hand, focused on Shawn, when Shawn looked out into the crowd.

“Oh!” Shawn’s voice rings through the speakers. “Brashier!” 

Connor stops, dead in his tracks, heart stopping, and you swear you practically see if drop out his ass.

“You all know my videographer?” Shawn asks his fans, who scream just as loud as they did when Shawn walked on stage. 

You’re no better, you’re screaming your head off, there in full support for your mans.

“Well someone special has finally joined him on tour.” Shawn wiggles his eyebrows.

You blush, immediately looking down. Connor looks around, finally coming to his senses and his surroundings. It’s when he spots you just a few steps away from him that he knows what Shawn’s up to.

“They’ve been together for awhile, but Connor, Bro, I’ve never seen you kiss the girl.” 

Connor laughs, and you giggle as you look up at your boy. He looks over at you, silently asking you with his eyes if you want to do this. 

“They’re so cute together you guys.” Shawn continues. 

You nod your head at Connor and he steps up to you, letting one hand come up and caress your face.

“Kiss her, kiss her!” Shawn whispers into the mic. 

Connor rolls his eyes, but smiles as he leans in and kisses your lips softly. 

It wasn’t your first kiss since you landed this morning, but it was one of the first few. You both were very private people, and with him constantly being surrounded by the band and crew it didn’t give you two a whole lot of alone time since you’d landed. You spent the day sending the other longing stares and silent promises of later.

“YEAHHHHH!” Shawn cheers, clapping and jumping around when he sees Connor kiss you. “That was awesome, I’m sorry for calling you out.” He giggles, shaking his head. “This one is for you, Con set your camera down man and dance with your girl for a moment. This is Fallin All in You.” 

The crowd errupts and starts singing with him, but you just stare at Connor as he hands one of the guards that follow him, his camera. He hops the fence you were standing behind and slides behind you. He nuzzles into your neck, planting small secretive kisses to your skin, swaying you to the song Shawn dedicated to you. 

“You’re my forever Baby.” He whispered in your ear. “I’m always fallin all in you.”

Tea and Love | Connor Brashier

Summary: You and Connor have a day off before Shawn’s birthday. You’re supposed to spend the day together but it doesn’t exactly go as planned. [comfort fic] [fluff] [non au] [period talk]

It's that time again. The time of the month where your uterus betrays you for not giving it a child. Sometimes you can't wait until you reach your fifties and sixties and menopause takes over. But until then you find yourself in a losing battle with your body.

Currently you're sat on the floor in front of the couch in your hotel room crying. The zipper on your makeup case in your purse broke and your compact got all over everything. It's not a big deal, you can always get more powder and wash out the bag. But it's just the final straw. Everything has been getting to you today and your nerves are shot. You and Connor arrived in New York a day early to spend some time together before Shawn arrived for his next show and birthday party. That's what was supposed to happen, but then Andrew called and asked Connor to get some scenic shots for some new project they were working on. You feel left out and forgotten. Combine that with your period and you're a mess.

"Hey babe, I stopped by the-" Connor freezes mid sentence when he sees you. He hates when you cry. It makes him cry and feel helpless if there's nothing he can do about it. Usually he's good at making the tears go away though. It's like his super power you're pretty sure. "What happened?"

"My compact broke." You hold it up in two empty dusty pieces, lacking all of it's fine pressed powdery insides.

He walks over and kneels beside you. "I can go get a new one. I'll even take this so I get the right kind. Here, give it to me."

"I don't care about the powder." You sniff, dropping the compact back in your bag. "I just I'm so emotional and my stomach hurts and you...I can't explain. You'll be mad at me."

Connor puts his arm around you and kisses your cheek. He wipes away your tears and kisses your head this time. "Talk to me. What's going on?"

"We were supposed to be together today and you had to work. You always have to work." You sigh shakily. "I know it's a high demand job, and I know I'm extremely lucky to be able to be on tour with you and Shawn for a few months. I just wish we could actually get some alone time."

"I'm sorry. You're so right. I should have told Andrew no, that it's my day off. I'm so, so sorry." He cups your face and you stare at him as he pleads silently with those big blue eyes for you to forgive him. As if you hadn't already.

"Can we have the rest of the day?"

"Yes. I'm all yours sweetheart. Can I get you anything? Do you want to go anywhere?"

You debate asking him to go out to dinner but your cramps say otherwise. The best thing right now would be to post up on the couch with a hot pad, some warm tea and Connor's hands rubbing your stomach. "I need tea."

"I'll go get some. Chocolate too? Cookies? Salty snacks?" He stands up and heads for the door. "I'll get you anything."

"A box of tampons? I'm low."

"Absolutely. I'll be back in a few. Text me anything else you can think of."

When Connor comes back half an hour later he's got a grocery bag full of stuff. You're surprised since you only asked for tea, he knows you like Earl grey, and tampons. He's got both of those things, but he also has a box of chamomile tea, peppermints and two lemons as well as a handful of candy bars and a bag of gummy worms. You smile as he unpacks and tells you to relax.

Connor bumps your legs a few minutes later and hands you a cup of tea as he sits down and you lay your legs over his lap. "Its special tea."

"Oh yeah?"

"Mmm. The lady at the store who helped me with the tampons told me that lemon and mint with chamomile tea can help with period symptoms."

You look into the cup that has a tea bag, a peppermint and a lemon slice in it. An interesting concoction. "Did she say peppermint?"

"No. But it's mint? Right?"

You giggle and take a sip. It's actually pretty good. The primary flavor is mint with a little tang from the lemon. "Not bad. Thank you Connabon."

He smiles and rolls his eyes, leaning his head back. He hates that nickname more than Baby Brash but since it's you, he lets it side. "You're lucky I like you."

"Like me? You looooove me."

He runs his hand over your thigh and up to your lower stomach. "Yeah, yeah you're right." You close your eyes as he massages gently along your waist band. "You're my moon and stars."

"Did you get that line from Mendes?"

"Maybe."

"I like it."

Connor smirks. "Knew you would." He kisses his hand and presses it to your tummy. "Love you."

"Love you too "
