Shark!Eijirou Kirishima X Siren!Reader Summary: Held captively in a lab until rescue by Eijirou Word Count: 840+

You watch him slide the same card on the machine that you have seen humans do when it's time to eat. The top of your prison opens completely. You didn’t peek your head up, believing it was a trap. It wouldn’t be the first time humans tried to trick you. You remain at the bottom of the tank.

The individual opens another door into a closet and pulls out an empty cart, placing it beside the tank. 

You reposition yourself when you see climbing up the stairs that would lead to the top of your tank. You let out a growl with your lips raised, showing your razor-sharp teeth. Perfect teeth to bite into sort of skin. 

He removes the object that was covering his face. He rolled up his sleeves before placing his whole arm into the water. 

Your eyes widen seeing his human hand gaining webbed between his fingers. His hand changed, becoming more sea creature-like than human. It was changing color and adapting its skin to be able to survive underneath the water. The skin was turning a dark shade of gray with hints of black. His fingernails turn into sharp, long claws perfect for digging into his desired prey just like yours. You hesitate to swim up closer to the surface and check to confirm that it is real. The skin was soft and slippery, but he couldn't be a siren or mermaid. His skin was too smooth to be it. It has to be other sea creatures of the ocean. 

“[Y/N] right?” 

You immediately snap your head at him in pure surprise, speaking your tongue instead of human speech. It confirms that he was from the sea, just like you. 

“Want to get out of here?” The strange man shows off his razor-sharp teeth as he speaks in the sea language again. Those teeth definitely don’t look human. He wasn’t a siren. He must be within the shark species because of those sharp teeth. There were too many teeth compared to the siren. 

You nod with hesitation. You would rather go with this sea creature than stay any longer in the humans' hands. You would rather deal with a pack of sharks than a human any day.

Bonus Scene: Couple Years Later 

Half of your head is above the surface, only showing your slitted eyes looking around the surrounding area underneath the port. The sunset was about to set completely, but there was no sign of the Eijirou, who usually isn't late to your dates.
