my favs are sasha, jade, dana, phoebe, fianna, and sharidan (honorable mentions: dresden, vinessa, and kumi)! they’re the girliest and most fashion to me. although cloe and i share a love for animal prints. i feel like personality wise im a good mix of sasha and jade: assertive, fashionable and confident! 🎀

Sheridan Jones' Character & Personality

Sharidan id known as "Sparklin' Sheep" by her friends. This is because she's a suburban girl who has a love for bedazzling her fashions. Sharidan is a skilled fashion designer who's a big fan of the Bratz and their show. But she's also shy and quiet, often stuttering when nervous. Sheridan isn't one for the spotlight, preferring to live a quiet life. However, she eventually opens up and becomes more confident after making friends. Sheridan is kind and wants the best for everyone. She's even helpful and forgiving, even to those who've wronged her.

The doll show was insane this year!!!! I found so many things I'd been on the lookout for for years and some nice surprises I randomly came across! I'm gonna ramble all about it:

--2006 Forever Diamondz Cloe (I thought the Forever Diamondz dolls were GORGEOUS back in the day, but I never got any of them, so last Christmas I treated myself to Yasmin and am now trying to slowly collect them all...I'm not typically a "I gotta complete the whole line" collector, but these?? I need them)

The Barbies are:

--1997 Sweetheart Midge (I have Sweetheart Barbie, Teresa, and Christie; the Barbie was one of my two very first dolls ever, and I got Teresa as a hand me down from an older family friend when I was about 5, so I've always been partial to this line and decided to complete it this year. I love their fuzzy neon dresses and will have to find one online to order for her)

--1997 Pearl Beach Barbie (my other first doll was Teresa from this line!)

--1999 Pilot Barbie (the only one of my whole haul that I didn't know the name of and had to research! BUT. if you're a late 90s Barbie kid like me, you probably remember pictures of this doll being on a ton of promotional stuff. Doll cases, one of the tapes/CDs to the toy boombox, I even had a pair of Barbie underwear with this girl on it. I loved this doll's short hair as a kid but never saw her in stores, and I never thought to research her as I got older, but as soon as I saw her today, I was like omg there she is!! she exists!!! and I'm so glad to finally know what she is!)

--Strawberry Shortcake Lemon Meringue (my newest toy obsession is Strawberry Shortcake...I saw a few gif sets of the 2003 version a few weeks ago, and it made me think back to how my sister and I had one doll set and a preview DVD that it came with, and I used to love sniffing the dolls at the store and thought their designs were so cute, and it occurred to me that I can just. buy them now. I found a Strawberry Shortcake a few weeks back, and now I have this one to go with her!)

AMERICAN GIRL OF THE YEAR 2006 JESS MCCONNELL!!!! Y'all. She is my babygirl. 10 year old me's blorbo from my catalogs. I have dreamed of holding this doll in my arms for seventeen years. I remember in her debut catalog, I opened the first page and was captivated by her. I remember thinking she had the cutest face sculpt, and she may or may not be the reason I continue to obsess over pink and orange as a color combination. I can't wait to get her actual outfits and dress her up, and get her books and get to know her as a character. Ever since I started collecting AG dolls (thanks to the doll show this time last year), I've been on the lookout for her, but I had yet to come across one in my preferred price range. Little did I know she'd be waiting for me to find in person!

So yeah! I'm feeling so satisfied and can't wait to get these guys all fixed up and find them a place among my collection! If you read all this, thank you and I love you <3

YX pointed out that she didn’t think that I hated men because if I did, I might have been likely to be gay. I’m not. And I don’t hate men. As a young girl, I always thought how I wished I had an older brother to protect me. And as I grew up, I met many men like my Uncles, acquaintances, friends. Sometimes when I look at someone in particular, it is clear to me that he was a good man. I can feel and sense that he was a good father. This is what I thought of my late Baba Sharidan who passed away suddenly last January. He was a quiet man and I know he always worked to provide for his family. The other Uncle that I felt was another good father was Baba Suhairi. My good male figure was my late Grandfather. I didn’t realise it until he fell ill with cancer. I didn’t realise how much I loved him until he became sick and I was very fearful of losing him and carrying on life with my father without him. That was a hard thing to confront. But I’m OK now. I treasure my memories with him. He was a blessing to me. Now I am trying to be more hopeful and feel more optimistic in seeing more good men. I have my grandfather’s younger brother Nana Jo who I love greatly. He doesn’t know me as well as my Granddad did but when he gave me a big hug that one time I came to visit him, I felt very happy and safe. For friends, I have Harold who I look up to as a brother. I intentionally stay away from him because I know every time I spend some time with him, I will miss his companionship 🫠 I’m seriously kidding 😆 Harold is good for my heart in the purest way. I love him so much. Next is John who gave me the title of his best friend! He introduced me to his friends publicly and said this literally “This is Ulfah my best friend.” OMG 🥲 And last but not least, the young man I am looking out for is LDW. I know he may not be as innocent as he presented himself to be but, I appreciate that he has a mature side. I hope he will grow up well 🫡 Anyhoo, I am glad to say that I love seeing goodness in anyone I pass by in the world. I love to be in love with life ❣️

I’m gonna be honest, I started to grow out of mine and would be disinterested when my neighbors (she was about two yrs younger than me) would ask if we could play with them. But I’d say yes cause she didn’t want to do anything else. I might have to start collecting them too, there’s this girl I follow on IG and she has sooo many of them. Like ones that are 100s and thousands of dollars. Some that are considered vintage too!

Yess, I loved the movies, and their songs omg!!! The twins and their nasally voices were sooo annoying. Like nails on a chalk board! Like god pls shut them up!!

The bratz rock angelz movie was actually a cultural reset for me! and the forever Diamondz movie where they take a road trip! I remember wanting the forever Diamondz dolls sooo badly bc i used to watch the advert all the time when i was a kid! I thought their outfits were SO cool haha. Then as an adult I bought all the forever Diamondz dolls bahahah but I’ve since sold them all except sharidan hehe

You should totally start collecting!! Just don’t pay scalper prices for dolls that truly aren’t as expensive as people make out to be!!! Be patient and you’ll find good deals hehe

WNA Asal Jerman Ditemukan Meninggal Dunia di Villa

BALIPORTALNEWS.COM, BULELENG - Seorang warga negara asing (WNA) asal Jerman bernama Kasten (45) ditemukan meninggal dunia di villa yang belokasi di Banjar Dinas Carik Agung, Desa Lokapaksa, Kecamatan Seririt, Buleleng, pada Selasa (17/10/2023), sekitar pukul 08.00 WITA. Saat dikonfirmasi, Kamis (19/10/2023), Kasi Humas Polres Buleleng, AKP Gede Darma Diatmika membenarkan adanya kejadian tersebut. Sebelumnya korban dan Sharidan Dittmar (34) asal Jerman diketahui menginap di villa tersebut sejak, Senin 9 Oktober 2023 sekitar pukul 01.00 WITA. Kemudian korban sempat ke Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) Tangguwisia lantaran mengalami sakit pada bagian ususnya, pada Minggu (15/10/2023). Namun karena tak kunjung sembuh korban lantas menghubungi dokter di klinik Pratama Sukasada Medika. Saat itu korban disarankan untuk melakukan pemeriksaan lebih lanjut di Rumah Sakit Bali International Medical Centre (BIMC) Denpasar. Sehingga korban dan Sharidan berencana untuk melakukan pemeriksaan, pada Selasa (17/10/2023). "Rencananya korban check out Selasa, kemudian langsung menuju BIMC Denpasar untuk memeriksa kesehatannya," ungkap Kasi Humas Polres Buleleng, AKP Gede Darma Diatmika. Namun, sekitar pukul 08.00 WITA. Sharidan mendapati korban sudah dalam keadaan tidak bergerak, karena panik kejadian akhirnya saksi menghubungi penjaga villa bernama Kadek Parwata (41) asal Desa Lokapaksa, Kecamatan Seririt, Buleleng. Mengetahui hal tersebut, Parwata lantas melaporkan kejadian tersebut ke Polsek Seririt. Saat itu polisi datang ke lokasi kejadian dengan tim medis Puskesmas Seririt II untuk melakukan pemeriksaan luar. Hasilnya korban dinyatakan telah meninggal dunia. "Tidak ditemukan adanya tanda-tanda kekerasan fisik. Korban diperkirakan telah meninggal dunia sekitar 8 hingga 12 jam yang lalu," terang AKP Darma. Sementara itu, saat melakukan olah tempat kejadian perkara (TKP) pihak kepolisian mengamankan sejumlah obat-obatan yang diduga milik korban.
