बाथरूम में मृत मिलीं जानी-मानी फैशन डिजाइनर शरबरी दत्ता, बेटे ने एक दिन पहले मां को आखिरी बार देखा था 10 मिनट पहले कॉपी लिंक शरबरी दत्ता ने सचिन तेंदुलकर और इमरान खान जैसे सेलेब्स की ड्रेस डिजाइन की थीं।

प्रसिद्ध फैशन डिज़ाइनर की वाशरूम में मौत

नई दिल्ली। प्रख्यात फैशन डिजाइनर शरबरी दत्ता का कोलकाता में उनके आवास पर एक स्ट्रोक के बाद हुआ निधन। वह 63 वर्ष की थीं। परिवार ने कहा, शबरी दत्ता, जो अकेले रहती थीं, गुरुवार शाम ब्रॉड स्ट्रीट में अपने घर के वॉशरूम में मृत पाई गईं थीं। वह सुबह से फोन का जवाब नहीं दे रही थीं।

डॉक्टरों ने उसकी मौत के कारण के रूप में स्ट्रोक का निदान किया लेकिन शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया क्योंकि यह वॉशरूम में पाया गया था।

    शबरी दत्ता ने अपना खुद का ब्रांड शुनाया स्थापित किया था, जिसके कोलकाता में आउटलेट हैं। वह शहर में आयोजित फैशन शो में एक जाना माना चेहरा थीं।

कोलकाता, 18 सितंबर (आईएएनएस)। लोकप्रिय फैशन डिजाइनर शरबरी दत्ता गुरुवार और शुक्रवार के बीच की मध्यरात्रि को अपने दक्षिण कोलकाता के ब्रॉड स्ट्रीट आवास के बाथरूम में मृत पाई गईं।

पुलिस सूत्रों के अनुसार, दत्ता शुक्रवार की रात करीब 12.15 बजे अपने बाथरूम के अंदर मृत मिली। स्थानीय पुलिस स्टेशन और कोलकाता पुलिस मुख्यालय लालबाजार की होमिसाइड ब्रांच के अधिकारी रात में घटनास्थल पर पहुंच कर जांच में जुट गए।

उनके परिवार के सदस्यों ने कहा कि दत्ता (63) को मंगलवार को रात के खाने के दौरान आखिरी बार देखा गया था। इसके बाद उनसे संपर्क नहीं हो पाया।

प्राथमिक जांच से पता चला कि शौचालय में अचानक दिल का दौरा पड़ने से उनकी मृत्यु हुई होगी। लेकिन दत्ता के परिवार वालों ने कहा कि वह ठीक थी और उन्हें ऐसी कोई पुरानी बीमारी नहीं थी।

कोलकाता पुलिस की होमिसाईड ब्रांच, फैशन डिजाइनर के आकस्मिक निधन के वास्तविक कारण का पता लगाने के लिए जांच करेगी। दत्ता के शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया गया है।

मशहूर बंगाली कवि अजीत दत्ता की बेटी, शरबरी दत्ता पिछले कुछ दशकों से विशेष रूप से पुरुषों के एथनिक परिधानों के क्षेत्र में पोशाक डिजाइनिंग उद्योग में एक लोकप्रिय नाम थीं। दत्ता ने ही रंगीन बंगाली धोती और डिजाइनर पंजाबी (कुर्ता) को मुख्यधारा के फैशन की दुनिया में कढ़ाई के कामों के साथ पेश किया था।
