Also just gonna put this out here, but I’m so glad I’m back!!! BnR is my special interest and I love this little community of like 4 people who still enjoy and talk about this game. I do wish BnR got some more love but I still love how niche it is cause I LOVE gatekeeping ;3

as fun as it is to see a parade of characters interact across the chapters, a lot of the more recent series 2 characters feel like they have little plot, and a lot of their chapters just feel crammed with cameos from other characters

which, if you like/know the character from previous playthoughs is fineish, but is defo alienating for a bunch of characters that aren't really relevant to the story you're reading turn up to talk for a couple of lines and leave if you haven't played before

it doesn't help that when you first install the game youre auto put on series 2 and have no knowledge of which stories ate gonna actually be storys and which are gonna be random characters just making an appearance

I've downloaded a lot of Otome games. Because I am bored. But, that's not the point of this post. I completely forgot, "Blood N Roses", exist and I just got back into it. It's from the same developers of, "Obey Me!" (Personally I like Obey Me storytelling more. But, I still love Blood N Roses.)

Anyways, back to the point. Someone please make one-shots of the characters. I am surprised not to see any wherever I look. Probably because I don't think it's that popular anymore? But, either way I feel like this game has so much one-shot potential... And totally not because I want another story of Ioannis... Totally. Also, Alfred reminds me of Satan, and not just because they both love cats. I also love Satan from Obey Me.

I like that this is how we're popping off the route as if it hasn't already been happening in the other two routes-

I find it strange how Seth is so willing to kill THE very descendant of Tatiana whom he once loved. Even Matilda points that out.

so i uh. did end up playing the old otome games i used to play (essentially all from the shall we date series) and now i’m falling in love with the games again

only issue is that i like SO many characters from those games (not even including those whose routes i haven’t done yet) that my f/o list will probably double in size if i include them. oh well lmao

oooo plus i wanna try to redraw some of the cgs but with a s/i that actually looks like me instead of the ‘canon appearance’ of the mc !!!
