Hi! I am truly in love with your Intimacy in Film series. It’s so beautiful. If you’re still doing these, and you’re open to moments, there’s a really beautiful moment in the movie Pleasantville where the main character (played by Toby Maguire) wipes a tear from his mother’s cheek. It’s such a beautiful moment that always makes me cry. I just thought of it immediately and thought I’d share. Best wishes!

I was just looking at your letterboxd for things to watch and saw that Everything Everywhere is still in your watchlist so this is my extreme endorsement of seeing it while it's in theaters, if you're able. it's so good and seems very within the venn diagram of your existing niches for media (compliment)

have you made art of "Point Break" 1991 yet? I know the straights love to claim it but Patrick Swayze did say he was 100% peforming it like it was a love story and Keanu was in a few peices of gay media before that too

yeah that movie is def filed under "mlm vibes" in my mind and patrick's portrayal makes sense as such ... but i haven't made a poster for it bc i watched it before i started my movie journal and i haven't made an entry of it for the intimacy in film series bc there were no scenes between them that really stood out to me as intimate or i simply can't remember /the scenes that came close to it wouldn't translate that well as an illustration imo... but also i haven't seen it in a while so maybe i'll rewatch it at some point

Hi, I absolutely love your illustrations you're amazingly talented. May I ask, what type of medium(s) do you use in your film journals ?

hey! thank you so much! for most of them i used markers (usually some no-name brand my dad got me from the dollar store lmao), occasionally gouache, some watercolour, some ink, fineliners, colour pencils ... i tried to diversify as much as i could according to what i thought would fit most! (if there are any specific ones you wanna know abt you'd have to let me know :D)
