Shaheed Diwas 2023: 23 मार्च को भगत सिंह, सुखदेव और राजगुरु ने स्वतंत्रता के लिए अपने प्राण न्यौछावर कर दिए

Shaheed Diwas : 23 मार्च, 1931 को भगत सिंह, राजगुरु और सुखदेव को ब्रिटिश सरकार ने लाहौर सेंट्रल जेल में फांसी दी थी

हर साल 23 मार्च को भारत शहादत दिवस मनाया जाता है।  भारत के तीन वीर सपूतों ने देश के लिए अपने प्राण न्यौछावर कर दिए थे । ये तीनों ही युवाओं के लिए आदर्श और प्रेरणा है।  भगत सिंह, सुखदेव और राजगुरु भारत की आजादी के लिए अपनी जान देने वाले क्रांतिकारियों में से एक थे। 23 मार्च, 1931 को भगत सिंह, सुखदेव और राजगुरु नाम के तीन युवकों को ब्रिटिश सरकार ने फांसी दे दी थी। वह 23 वर्ष के थे। इसलिए ,शहीदों को श्रद्धांजलि के रूप में, भारत सरकार ने 23 मार्च को शहीद दिवस के रूप में घोषित किया। लेकिन क्या आपको पता है कि इन तीनों शहीदों की मौत भी अंग्रेजी हुकूमत की एक साजिश थी? भगत सिंह, राजगुरु और सुखदेव सभी को 24 मार्च को फाँसी देनी तय  हुई थी, लेकिन अंग्रेजों ने एक दिन पहले 23 मार्च को भारत के तीनों वीर पुत्रो  को फांसी पर लटका दिया। आखिर इसकी वजह क्या थी? आखिर भगत सिंह और उनके साथियों ने ऐसा क्या अपराध किया था कि उन्हें फांसी की सजा दी गई। भगत सिंह की पुण्यतिथि पर जानिए उनके जीवन के बारे में कई दिलचस्प बातें।

देश की आजादी के लिए सेंट्रल असेंबली में बम फेंका गया।

8 अप्रैल, 1929 को दो क्रांतिकारियों, भगत सिंह और बटुकेश्वर दत्त ने दिल्ली की सेंट्रल असेंबली में बम फेंका और ‘साइमन गो बैक’ नारे में भी संदर्भित किया गया था। जहां कुख्यात आयोग के प्रमुख सर जॉन साइमन मौजूद थे। साइमन कमीशन को भारत  में व्यापक विरोध का सामना करना पड़ा था। बम फेंकने के बाद दोनों ने भागने की कोशिश नहीं की और सभा में पर्चे फेंक कर आजादी के नारे लगाते रहे और अपनी गिरफ्तारी दी। जो पर्चे गिर��ए उनमें पहला शब्द “नोटिस” था। उसके बाद उनमें पहला वाक्य फ्रेंच शहीद अगस्त वैलां का था। लेकिन दोनों क्रांतिकारियों द्वारा दिया गया प्रमुख नारा ‘’इंकलाब जिंदाबाद’’ था । इस दौरान उन्हें करीब दो साल की सजा हुई।

करीब दो साल की मिली कैद

भगत सिंह करीब दो साल तक जेल में रहे। उन्होंने बहुत सारे क्रांतिकारी लेख लिखे, जिनमें से कुछ ब्रिटिश लोगों के बारे में थे, और अन्य पूंजीपतियों के बारे में थे। जिन्हें वह अपना औ�� देश का दुश्मन मानते थे।  उन्होंने कहा कि श्रमिकों का शोषण करने वाला कोई भी व्यक्ति उनका दुश्मन है, चाहे वह व्यक्ति भारतीय ही क्यों न हो।

जेल में भी जारी रखा विरोध

भगत सिंह बहुत बुद्धिमान थे और कई भाषाएँ जानते थे। वह हिंदी, पंजाबी, उर्दू, बांग्ला और अंग्रेजी आती जानते थे । उन्होंने बटुकेश्वर दत्त से बंगाली भी सीखी थी। भगत सिंह अक्सर अपने लेखों में भारतीय समाज में लिपि, जाति और धर्म के कारण आई लोगों के बीच की दूरी के बारे में चिंता और दुख व्यक्त करते थे।

राजगुरु, भगत सिंह और सुखदेव की फांसी की तारीख तय की गई

दो साल तक कैद में रहने के बाद, राजगुरु और सुखदेव को 24 मार्च, 1931 को फाँसी दी जानी थी। हालाँकि, उनकी फाँसी की ख़बर से देश में बहुत हंगामा हुआ और ब्रिटिश सरकार प्रतिक्रिया से डर गई। वह तीनों सपूतों की फांसी के विरोध में प्रदर्शन कर रहे थे। भारतीयों का आक्रोश और विरोध देख अंग्रेज सरकार डर गई थी।

डर गई अंग्रेज सरकार

ब्रिटिश सरकार को इस बात की चिंता थी कि भगत सिंह , सुखदेव और राजगुरु की फाँसी के दिन भारतीयों का गुस्सा उबलने की स्थिति में पहुँच जाएगा, और स्थिति और भी बदतर हो सकती है। इसलिए, उन्होंने उसकी फांसी की तारीख और समय को बदलने का फैसला किया।

तय समय से पहले दी भगत सिंह,सुखदेव और राजगुरु को फांसी

ब्रिटिश सरकार ने जनता के विरोध को देखते हुए 24 मार्च जो फांसी का दिन था उसे 11  घंटे पहले 23 मार्च का दिन कर दिया। इसका पता भगत सिंह को नहीं था। 22 मार्च की रात सभी कैदी मैदान में बैठे थे। तभी वार्डन चरत सिंह आए और बंदियों को अपनी-अपनी कोठरियों में जाने को कहा।  कुछ ही समय बाद नाई बरकत की बात कैदियों के कानों में पड़ी  कि उस रात भगत सिंह, राजगुरु और सुखदेव को फांसी दी जाने वाली है।

23 मार्च 1931 को शाम 7.30 बजे फांसी दे दी जायगी । कहते है कि जब भगत सिंह  से उनकी आखिरी इच्छा पूछी गई तो उन्होंने कहा कि वह लेनिन (Reminiscences of Leni) की जीवनी पढ़ रहे थे और उन्हें वह पूरी करने का समय दिया जाए। लेकिन जेल के अधिकारियों ने चलने को कहा तो उन्होंने किताब को हवा में उछाला और कहा – ’’ठीक है अब चलो।’’

भगत सिंह, राजगुरु और सुखदेव को 7 बजकर 33 मिनट पर 23 मार्च 1931 को शाम में  लाहौर सेंट्रल जेल में फांसी दे दी गई। शहीद भगत सिंह, राजगुरु और सुखदेव एक दूसरे से मिले और उन्होंने एक-दूसरे का हाथ थामे आजादी का गीत गाया।

”मेरा रँग दे बसन्ती चोला, मेरा रँग दे। मेरा रँग दे बसन्ती चोला। माय रँग इे बसन्ती चोला।।’’

साथ ही ’इंक़लाब ज़िन्दाबाद’ और ’हिंदुस्तान आजाद हो’ का नारा लगये ।

उनके नारे सुनते ही जेल के कैदी भी इंकलाब जिंदाबाद के नारे लगाने लगे। कहा जाता है कि फांसी का फंदा पुराना था लेकिन जिसे फांसी दी गई वह काफी तंदुरुस्त था। मसीद जलाद को फाँसी के लिए लाहौर के पास शाहदरा से बुलाया गया था।  भगतसिंह बीच में खङे थे और अगल-बगल में राजगुरु और सुखदेव खङे थे। जब मसीद जल्लाद ने पूछा कि, ’सबसे पहले कौन जाएगा?’

तब सुखदेव ने सबसे पहले फांसी पर लटकाने की सहमति दी। मसीद जल्लाद ने सावधानी से एक-एक करके रस्सियों को खींचा और उनके पैरों के नीचे लगे तख्तों को पैर मारकर हटा दिया। लगभग 1 घंटे तक उनके शव तख्तों से लटकते रहे, उसके बाद उन्हें नीचे उतारा गया और लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल जेजे नेल्सन और लेफ्टिनेंट एनएस सोढ़ी द्वारा उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया गया।

तीन क्रांतिकारियों, भगत सिंह, राजगुरु और सुखदेव का अंतिम संस्कार

ब्रिटिश सरकार की योजना थी इन सबका अंतिम दाह संस्कार जेल में करने की योजना बनाई थी। हालांकि, अधिकारियों को चिंता हुई कि अगर जेल से दाह संस्कार की प्रक्रिया से निकलने वाले धुएं को देखा तो जनता नाराज हो जाएगी। इसलिए, उन्होंने जेल की दीवार को तोड़ने और कैदियों के शवों को जेल के बाहर ट्रकों पर फेंकने का फैसला किया।

इससे पहले ब्रिटिश सरकार ने तय किया था कि भगत सिंह राजगुरु सुखदेव का अंतिम संस्कार रावी नदी के तट पर किया जाएगा, लेकिन उस समय रावी में पानी नहीं था। इसलिए उनके शव को फिरोजपुर के पास सतलुज नदी के किनारे लाया गया। उनके शवों को आग लगाई गई। इसके बारे में जब आस-पास के गाँव के लोगों को पता चल गया, तब ब्रिटिश सैनिक शवों को वहीं छोङकर भाग गये। कहा जाता है कि सारी रात गाँव के लोगों ने उन शवों के चारों ओर पहरा दिया था।

अगले दिन जब तीनों क्रांतिकारियों की मौत की खबर फैली तो उनके सम्मान में तीन मील लंबा जुलूस निकाला था। इसको लेकर लोगों ने ब्रिटिश सरकार का विरोध किया ।

फांसी से पहले भगत सिंह ने अपने साथियों को एक पत्र लिखा था।

साथियों,

स्वाभाविक है कि जीने की इच्छा मुझमें भी होनी चाहिए। मैं इसे छिपाना नहीं चाहता, लेकिन एक शर्त पर जिंदा रह सकता हूँ कि मैं कैद होकर या पाबंद होकर जीना नहीं चाहता।

मेरा नाम हि��्दुस्तानी क्रांति का प्रतीक बन चुका है और क्रांतिकारी दल के आदर्शों और कुर्बानियों ने मुझे बहुत ऊँचा उठा दिया है- इतना ऊँचा कि जीवित रहने की स्थिति में इससे ऊँचा मैं हर्गिज नहीं हो सकता। आज मेरी कमजोरियाँ जनता के सामने नहीं हैं। अगर मैं फाँसी से बच गया तो वे जाहिर हो जाएँगी और क्रांति का प्रतीक चिन्ह मद्धिम पड़ जाएगा या संभवतः मिट ही जाए।

लेकिन दिलेराना ढंग से हँसते-हँसते मेरे फाँसी चढ़ने की सूरत में हिन्दुस्तानी माताएँ अपने बच्चों के भगतसिंह बनने की आरजू किया करेंगी और देश की आजादी के लिए कुर्बानी देने वालों की तादाद इतनी बढ़ जाएगी कि क्रांति को रोकना साम्राज्यवाद या तमाम शैतानी शक्तियों के बूते की बात नहीं रहेगी।
