Nancy could barely even remember how they’d even gotten to Steve’s house. One second she’d been in Vecna’s void. She had been terrified and shown every bad memory she could imagine. The guilt of Barb’s death that still ate at her. And the next second she could hear the faint tune of Africa. She hadn’t even known that any of them would know her favourite song.

The kids had all but passed out in the living room, exhausted from their investigation. She couldn’t blame them. Eddie had been asleep on the floor as well, mostly because Robin had taken Steve’s parents bed and claimed it for herself. Which Nancy wasn’t even the slightest bit surprised at after getting to know the other girl.

She didn’t even feel sleepy. Plus she really wanted to get out of her clothes. They just felt gross to her. She stood in Steve’s bedroom doorway, leaning her head against the beam, almost afraid to come in just in case of what he might say. “Mind if I borrow some clothes? These just kind of feel... uncomfortable.” She asked him.

“Yeah well that’s what happens when you have the potential for living forever,” Damon shrugged with a smirk. “I just came to let you know that I’m leaving in the morning so you can get in touch with Stefan if you need something at the house.”

A click sounded as Jonathan took a photo. “I promised my mom that I would get some photos of Will and his friends.” He knew his mom still worried about the younger teens. Everything they’d been through? It was insane. He also had a whole different view on Steve since everything started. As much as they’d never got on before when Steve had turned up, and then stuck around to help him and Nancy with the demogorgon? He was a good guy, and seemed to look out for the younger ones as much as he did.

Princess&Knight: Amira & Damon

Damon knocked on princess Amira's door quietly, looking around to make sure the halls were empty. "It's me". He murmured, keeping his voice low. He had watched her peek out and then, looked around the halls. It was just the two of them. "They're at the party, princess. You want to go for a walk?"

Damon had first met Amira when she stumbled upon him during his training. This had happened to be late at night when no one was awake, or so he believed. Since then, the two had become closer. He would often visit her when he had the time - partly because he was assigned as her knight and also because he did have romantic feelings for the woman. In most nights, the two would take a walk near midnight and then, settle somewhere on the grounds to talk about their day.

Besides the teasing and flirting, he didn't know how Amira felt about him. He had never made a direct move on her, feeling as though it would be silly to try. Not only would he lose the position and opportunity in seeing her, he could possibly be punished. Though, as he looked at her, he knew he'd feel most upset at the idea of never being able to see her again.

Hermione knows she shouldn’t bother with what Draco is going through. Harry is convinced he’s now a Death Eater. Maybe that’s true. After all, Draco’s father has always been one, and he has taught his son all he needed to know to become one in return, including how to behave with a Muggle-Born witch like her. But there’s sometimes inside Hermione’s mind that makes her think that Draco feels lost and confused these days. He’s not the BULLY he’s used to be. As much as she doesn’t miss that side of him, it makes her wonder.

That’s why that day, as she notices him walking from one way to the other of the hallway, she can’t help but decide to talk to him. “You’re looking for the Room of Requirement, right ?” She asks, raising an eyebrow.

Danny initially let out a sigh. Just because everyone knew that he was gay, they assumed that seeing him around with guys meant that he was dating them. It got him into some really awkward situations. And he was worried that this would be the same. But Peter rolled with it, and that just made the already handsome older man become that much hotter. Danny covered Peter's hand with his own, leaning towards him as his fingers drew patterns over Peter's knuckles. "Hey, they just made an observation. It doesn't matter to me what they think about it. At worst, they're just jealous of me, right?" Danny cooed, playing along with Peter's little game.

I’m only gonna slow you down or fuck up the mission Clint. It’s better if I stay here.”

A row of shot glasses stood lined up in front of Damon, all filled with vodka. The drunken crowd that stood behind Damon cheered him on, as if slamming ten shots of alcohol was something to be admired. Within seconds the glasses were empty, causing the crowd to make further noise.

“Someone owes me 50$ for betting I couldn’t do all that within ten seconds!” The vampire pointed towards the mass of people, grin lazy and carefree while ordering a double shot of bourbon. 

Just as he kissed the rim of his glass, Damon caught a glimpse of a familiar man enter the bar. “Oh jeez..” He turned his head, hoping Klaus Mikaelson wouldn’t notice him sitting at the bar.

“I hope she’s more like you, Hayley,” Klaus admitted. He was glad his siblings were out or preoccupied right now. But looking at the little girl that was truly a miracle he knew that he wanted her to be better than him. To be like her strong, beautiful mother. “I hope she’s a force of good in this world.”
