“That’s a night, folks.” Mairon stepped away from the mic and rolled his head from side to side, stretching the muscles in his neck. It had been a long night, and he was worn out from the incessant rehearsing, just like the others. Nevertheless, he made peace with such exhaustion. The concert was but two days away, and they couldn't afford any mistakes. “Get yourselves something to eat in the dressing room, and then we’ll all head back to the hotel.”

“Fucking finally,” Thuringwethil said. She sighed, relieved that rehearsals were over for the night, but she smiled, removed her guitar, and gave it to an assistant passing by to take. "Will you look at all of that," she said at length. "In two days, we’ll be lucky if we can see the walls right at the back." 

Mairon turned to look at the wide open field ahead of him and the high, distant walls illuminated by bright white stadium lights. The arena could easily hold thirty thousand people, they were told. It was something neither he nor anyone in the band, for that matter, could have comprehended the first time they got together to play. Once, they considered themselves fortunate if they could convince even fifty to come to watch them play. Now, they were performing in sold-out arenas packed with screaming fans. Their dreams of greater fame and glory were finally coming true.

“Fuck me,” Mairon said, overawed. Then he looked at Thuringwethil and said, “Let’s go. We're all tired and hungry, and Arien is probably bored to tears by having to wait for us." 

“Arien isn’t bored to tears,” Thuringwethil said. She rolled her eyes. “She brought a book with her to read.”

Mairon opened his mouth to tease, but then he thought not to. Thuringwethil would have plenty to say if he uttered a joke at her or Arien's expense, and none of it would be kind. And, he admitted to himself, he didn't wish to ruin what had been a successful night by making his lead guitarist angry.

“Go on,” he said instead. “We’ll catch up.”

The well-lit inner corridors of the arena seemed to go on forever in Thuringwethil’s eyes. And yet she didn't mind them. After the concert, she could commit this arena and its many corridors to memory, where they rightfully belonged. 

It didn't take too long for her to reach the private dressing room set aside for them. This was also an immense change from the dark and musty little rooms they had to be content with when they first began to play. As soon as she entered, a little reception room greeted her. This was where they would meet eager fans, sign autographs, and take pictures. A low sofa of rich brown leather stretched from one corner of the wall to the other, and a glass coffee table stood in the center. To her right stood a vending machine filled with snacks and sweets, and to her left was the door leading to another room. Thuringwethil didn’t waste another moment. She crossed over to the door and opened it.

“There you are, sunshine,” she said, peering into the room.

Arien looked up from her book and smiled. “All finished for the night?”

“Yes, finally,” Thuringwethil said, walking to the fridge. "How’s the book?" she added after pulling out a can of beer and popping it open. "Is it any good?"

Arien marked where she stopped reading with a bookmark and said, “Quite riveting, actually. I’m glad my dad found this in that bookstore he walked into.”

Thuringwethil looked at her. Arien may have worn a simple white dress along with her favorite pair of earrings, but nothing could hide what Mairon once called the Air of Old Money in her. Graceful and well-groomed she would always be, whether she wore a ball gown or a sweater and ripped jeans.

“What the hell sent you here to me?” She murmured with affection. Arien could have had anyone she desired, yet she chose Thuringwethil, paying little heed to the many objections that came her way.

Arien set her book down beside her. She kicked off her shoes and curled up on the sofa, tucking her feet beneath her body. Presently, she said, “I don’t know. But for myself, I will not question my luck. Are you?”

“No way am I doing it, sunshine.” Thuringwethil drained her beer and tossed the can into the little bin by the fridge. She went to the sofa to rest her head on Arien's lap. “Read some of that book to me,” she said, closing her eyes and sighing softly when Arien brushed her hand over her hair. “We can eat when the others get here.”

Anyway for thie ship au, things are just normal like in canon, Nightheart has a chance with Sunbeam and things didn't go well because he is still immature and his family is begging him to not cause a fukin scene. So, Sunbeam pretty much hangs in the med den to avoid clanmates and yada, Shadow and Sun become close and things happened between the two. At first Sunbeam doesn't want to be close with another cat in doubt that everything isn't going to work and will eventually hurts her, but Shadowsight stayed by her side, ignoring others and cared for her.

Also Lightleap doesn't take the news very well and pretty much glare at Sunbeam whenever she gets the chance, stating that Sunbeam is being petty and taking an advantage on her brother, Blazefire has mixed feelings and tries to be casual around Sunbeam but it turns into argument when Blaze questions Sunbeam & Shadowsight's relationship.

A few moons later Sunbeam announced that's she's expecting which no surprise caused more problems in the clan, but she pushed the negatively bc she deserves happiness wif the one cat she loves.

Pump : Skid’s Best friend and The Son of the Captain-General of the Adeptus Custodes and one of the leaders of the Tau Fire Warriors (Shadowsun) though he’s more human than Tau Kitten’s Note: THIS IS NOT FUCKING CANON… about the “he’s half Tau” and The Fact that his mom is a Tau. Live in the imperial palace with his Father who is taking care of the Emperor

Lila : Skid’s Adoptive mother (which kinda make her The Emperor’s Daughter in Law) and a Sister of Battle of The Order of the Ebon Chalice (and later on became a High Lord of Terra as the Abbess of the Adepta Sororitas after Roboute Guilliman came back), have to stay in the imperial palace after finding the Human Descendant of The Emperor (she knew that after The Emperor told her that by using telepathy).

Frank (Nicknamed Franktacular by Boy) : an Imperial Fist who is a close friend of Lila. Live in The Imperial Palace as a request by Lila

Pump’s Father : The Captain-General of the Adeptus Custodes and Susie’s Adoptive Father/Mentor ,  goes by the nickname “Kitten” by "The Fabulous Custodes”. He’s the reason Lila and Skid stay in The Imperial Palace after Lila told him that The Emperor telepathically told her that Skid is his Descendant… with the Emperor telepathically telling him as well. 

Susannah (Susie for short): Shield-Captain of the Aquilan Shield of the Adeptus Custodes and The Captain-General’s Adopted Daughter (He found her as a baby during The Horus Heresy, unfortunately her real parents didn’t survive...). Also treats Pump as her little brother. and probably The one of the two custodes who keep their sanity (the other being her father)

Morgana : The Sister-Commander of The Sister of Silence and Susie’s best friend

John Yarrick : An Imperial Guard Commissar famous for his participation in the Second and Third Wars for Armageddon, in which he twice fought against the Ork forces of Warlord Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka. got a Power Klaw to replace the arm he lost in combat.

Jack: a Kriegsman who is friend with John Yarrick and Patty… which gave him a reason to live

Patricia Azure/ Patty : a Tech-priest of the Adeptus Mechanicus who is assigned to maintain the Emperor’s Golden Throne. Have a collection of “Ancient Technology”

Marneus Calgar : The current Chapter Master of the Ultramarines. have depression due to having too many repeated winning streaks. He is also bitterly annoyed by the existence of Him, Kevin Sicarius

He, Kevin Sicarius : He, Kevin Sicarius is the Captain of the 2nd company of the Ultramarines, Master of the Watch, Knight Champion of Macragge, Grand Duke of Talassar, and High Suzerain of Ultramar and as such no foul Xeno could ever hope to outmatch his legendary swordsman skill also He, Kevin Sicarius is very handsome. Everyone wishes to be great as Him, Kevin Sicarius and the only one worthy to be The Next Ultramarines Chapter Masters which of course will be Him, Kevin Sicarius. He, Kevin Sicarius is an insufferable glory hound who speaks in a falsetto voice, and always refers to himself as "I, Kevin Sicarius." He, Kevin Sicarius, is the personification of everything wrong with the Ultramarines, as he, Kevin Sicarius, flawlessly executed otherwise impossible missions with the greatest of ease and in the most obnoxious manner possible.

Archmagos Belisarius Cawl : a tech-priest of the Adeptus Mechanicus. He is a close ally of Roboute Guilliman, the chief architect behind the Primaris Marine project and Patricia/Patty’s Father Figure.

Ecclesiarch Mancclesiarch Gregor XXIII : Head of the Adeptus Ministorum, has a hatred towards Evermore Karamazov. Very annoyed that The High Lords Of Terra make fun of his hat all the time

Jaune Greyfax : an Inquisitor who was imprisoned within a Tesseract Vault by the Necron Overlord Trazyn the Infinite for centuries until she was released, along with his other prisoners. She’s now the Representative of the New Inquisition (created by Her, Roboute Guilliman and the Emperor). Definitely didn’t slept many time with Saint Celestine 

Lord Inquisitor Evermore Karamazov : Lord Inquisitor and one of the first adversaries to appear once the Emperor began his attempts at reforming the Imperium. Later on became the Star-Everemperor

Boy : a serf that has been commanded by the Emperor to manage the vox equipment for the Emperor's podcast (a podcast with Him, “Kitten”, Rogal Dorn, Lila, Patty, Frank and later on Guilliman). He Look up to Dorn and Frank since he always wanted to become a Space Marine

Mokey Draigo : the Supreme Grand Master of the Grey Knights.

Magnus The Red : The Primarch of the Thousand Sons, and fifteenth son of the Emperor.

Roboute Guilliman : The Primarch of the Ultramarines, and the thirteenth son of the Emperor and now Lord Commander of the Imperium who is helping his father to reform the Imperium

Rogal Dorn (Nicknamed Adornable by Boy) : The Primarch of the Imperial Fists, and seventh son of the Emperor, was disguised as a centurion who was in Frank’s order

Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka : The leader of the Goffs clan, and the Warboss with the single largest army of Orks in modern history.

Yvraine : an Eldar who serves as the emissary for the newly awakened Eldar God Ynnead. and she’s also Roboute Guilliman’s girlfriend

Trazyn the Infinite : an ancient Necron Overlord of the Nihilakh Dynasty noted amongst his kind as a keeper of history and a preserver of artifacts and events on the Tomb World of Solemnace.

Commander Shadowsun : One of the leaders of the Tau Fire Warriors. The true reason why Kitten hated the Tau; it was because Shadowsun broke up with him to fight for the Greater Good, and because the fact she gave birth to Pump and that the custodes kill him if they found out about it Kitten’s Note : OHISWEARTOFUCK THAT WAS NOT FUCKING CANON, SHADOWSUN ISNT AND NEVER WAS HIS MOTHER! …but it turns out not only the other Custodes know about it they actually let him live Kitten’s Note :  NOT FUCKING CANON  and in fact keep their secrets away from the inquisition Kitten’s Note : NO NO NO NO NOT FUCKING CANON

Ahzek Thinriman : the First Captain of the Thousand Sons, a Champion of Tzeentch and the most powerful Chaos Sorcerer of the Thousand Sons Traitor Legion after the Daemon Primarch Magnus the Red himself. He has a strange fixation with "murdering the stars."

Velseb The Eternal : a member of the Emperor's Children, and a Champion of Slaanesh. Slaanesh has granted him a special form of immortality where if the person who slays him feels any satisfaction over the kill, that person will become the new Velseb.

Ignacio Bile : The Chief Apothecary of the Emperor's Children, and a powerful figure among the Chaos Space Marines. He is an expert geneticist, having created clones of even the Primarchs. Unlike most of the Emperor's Children, Bile does not follow Slaanesh, instead he devotes himself to science, and research into the creation of Space Marines.

Thiephus : The Death Guard Lord of the Death Guard Traitor Legion's 1st Plague Company, and the host of the terrible plague known as the Destroyer Hive. He is a Champion of Nurgle, a Death Guard Sorcerer and the former first captain of the Death Guard Legion. Thiephus is also the most feared of all Chaos Lords to command one of the legendary Plague Fleets.

Rich the Betrayer : a Chaos Space Marine of the World Eaters Legion. Rich is the greatest of all the Champions of Khorne, second only to the Daemon Prince Angron in power. He is the avatar of Khorne, embodying that god's indiscriminate rage and bloodlust.

Canbaddon the Despoiler : The Warmaster of Chaos, the former First Captain of the Sons of Horus Legion and now absolute Master of the Black Legion, and rumoured to be the clone-progeny of Warmaster Horus. He is the most powerful Warmaster of all, successor to Horus, and blessed by all four of the Gods of Chaos. Despite being the Warmaster of Chaos, Canbaddon has refused to give himself fully over to the Ruinous Powers as the Daemon Primarchs have, as this would limit his existence beyond the Eye of Terror and push his ultimate vengeance against the Imperium beyond his grasp.

The Emperor of Mankind : The sovereign ruler of the Imperium of Man, and Father, Guardian, and God Man of the human race. He has sat immobile within the Golden Throne of Terra for ten thousand years. Although once a living man, His shattered body can no longer support life, and remains intact only by a combination of ancient technology and the sheer force of His will, itself sustained by the soul-sacrifice of countless millions of psyker. As he now has a text to speech device (which was found by Skid and Pump while looking at Patty’s Collection of “ancient technology” that she “found”) the Emperor is able to speak to his subjects once more… and is very pissed with what they've done to his Imperium.

The Eyes of the Universe : a Old God who helped The large group of psychic shamans to perform the ritualistic form of mass suicide since he’s the one who fused their souls and psychic powers to create The Emperor of Mankind. Got sealed away By Tzeentch, Khorne, Nurgle and Slaanesh and can do nothing but watch The Galaxy and feel sad about its current state… but however before that he managed to put a figment of himself to an alternate universe where a cult worship him which will set him free of the prison and defeat the four Chaos Gods

As for what AU I'd like to see her in... I'd say probably Warhammer Fantasy/Age of Sigmar. I didn't give much thought for how she'd look like there... she'd probably work as a monster or vampire hunter (and chances are would end up becoming one in the process).

Since we talked about Tau, how's Shadowsun in Crossthicc?

If i had the inspiration for it, I'd probably write more about her!

I'm thinking that the Tau Empire here is a fairly typical Federation-type deal, and so she very much fits the mold of a heroic mech pilot champion, if rather aggressive. In this way, she can be thought as a very optimistic combination of, say, Yoko Littner and Asuka Langley-Sohru in terms of her general demeanor here, though she's probably a bit more professional than either of that implies. In this case, they are in a weird relationship with the Coalition; they're allies and fight alongside each other against greater threats, though they're also rivals who compete for glory, influence and settlement rights on newfound worlds.

She's very much in the model of the ace mech pilot fighting evil with pure heart and mighty spirit; she's probably a good parallel to Simon the Digger from Gurren Lagann, actually! (In terms of the tropes that inform her general character and the sort of wacky shit she does!)

as a result of her great influence, steadfast determination, and probably a LOT of overly enthusiastic modding, she's very, VERY big, requiring specially expanded mech suits simply to fit her enormous, hyper curvaceous body. She quite enjoys putting her human rivals to shame; when a single breast is larger than most of your rivals (or even their entire ships, in moments of great courage that expands her to orbital size), it's a great metaphor for the spirit of the Greater Good!

(Of the majority of non-Primarch characters, I would probably be most enthusiastic about writing her.)

Lockwarden: It seems his heart is finally repairing itself, though I noticed there are no messages attached to these sweets or handcrafted ones.

Hammurabi Unferth(Neptune): Perhaps he didnt get any, cheaply bought sweets are not as good as ha-*notices something* LRAK IS GOING FOR THE VENTS!

Korrinth- is a sucker for sappy romance novels, a quirk I could certainly see that translating to movies. Oh man could I see her loving Ten Things I Hate About You.

Kirollis- has the tastes of a raging dumpster fire. He’s probably the one who scrolls through Netflix looking for comically bad titles. The worse the movie the more he likes it.

Information to to understand before I go into the situation: I hate when people go behind my back. You have an issue with me, tell me. You want to stop a thread or retcon something, talk to me. Things don’t always work out, and that’s normal and okay. Just tell me directly, be honest.

Taking the above into account, the situation that made me angry is as follows: I was shipping with someone for a while by that point, and were doing a long and totally refreshing slice of life thread. Suddenly I see an ask answered with the oc thats supposedly the husband of mine gushing over and proposing to someone else. I was simply confused, so wanted to clarify what’s going on. We actually had a skype convo with all 3 of us in (because I did follow the ‘new bride’s blog too and interacted before). I asked if thats an AU or what, only to get a strange reaction from the 3rd person, like wasn’t my ship already retconned and everything? Apparently they were already doing their private rp over skype and supposedly my ship partner told the 3rd person that our ship was already over and retconned - more than a week before I even found out from that rp between them on tumblr. This was at a time when I was still recovering from an ugly break from someone (lets call this person “L”) who took advantage of me rpwise for a time, and was still sore from getting backstabbed and from going behind my back. Only to have it happen again from someone I also trusted - with whom I had a casual talk jsut the day before too. Apparently she just couldn’t find a good time to tell me -for more than a week- that btw it’s all retconned now. Needless to say, I was angry and questioned her backbone, only for her to try and turn the whole thing around that she was the true victim there and that she was nothing like "L” (interesting comparison, given it was HER who brought up "L”-s name in the first place, not me). So yeah, I was angry and just left the conversation altogether and didn’t talk to her ever since. The 3rd person I wasn’t angry at at all, it wasn’t her fault. TLDR: if you think of me as an rp partner, then please be honest and upfront about stuff.
