Alright alright let's start. So... To start things off, I personally believe that ShadowMarine is better off as a ship with headcanons as.. well. We all know what Smilk is like towards literally everyone he encounters, and he'd just treat Aquamarine like absolute dogshit and you know it. Which is why I've mostly been using my headcanons as a way to get by this ship. Unlike LonganPearl, which I can still see as working even without the need for headcanons, ShadowMarine is just one of the rarepairs where they wouldn't work in canon but oh boy is it endearing to see this fucked up eldritch horror of a psycho jester fall head over heels for a mermaid who likes plants

Let's get to my headcanons for the two; As much as I don't like using the term, Smilk is a tsundere towards Aquamarine, at least in the earlier stages of their relationship. He has no idea why he fell head over heels for some stupid pretty mermaid who loves plants oh so much but why does he FEEL this way towards her? It doesn't make any sense to him. He always hated the concept of love and didn't think much of it, but now? Oh boy something powerful must've stirred him up so badly that he can't seem to get her out of his head. Aquamarine on the other hand, isn't aware that he's been secretly admiring her and has been dropping off these flower gifts for her with a note on them simply saying “From a tricky admirer” and she gets a bit flustered everytime she gets one. Each gift becomes more and more extravagant as time goes on and Smilk becomes increasingly more infatuated with her that he decides to confront her face-to-face (refer to the artwork of him making an excuse for the assortment props and handing it to her), THAT'S when he made his feelings somewhat obvious to her.

Personally, I see this ship as Pining + Oblivious.

Overtime, Smilk would probably get more comfortable around her and act like himself but more controlled, as in he isn't going to be an asshole around her and be a bitch about his whole deceit thing. I do think he'll stop lying only when she's around, maybe for once he'll stop being a thorn in everyone's side just for her.

Canon Shadow Milk would probably see Aquamarine as his gateway to cause chaos and spread his lies in the sea too. Woo her, gain her trust, deceive her and betray her. Simple plan, really, and considering who Shadow Milk is? Wouldn't be hard. Other than that he'd probably think of Aquamarine as even less than the dirt beneath his feet, and he doesn't walk. To him she's another cookie to have a laugh at.

My personal hc Shadow Milk though? OHOHOOO. This is wheres the fun AT!

Shadow Milk ADORES Aquamarine, and I mean it when I say it. In his eyes, she's perfect. Everything flawless mixed into one cookie. He loves her personality, her plant loving nature, and boy don't even get him started on just how pretty she is. He wants her to live the best life unseen before, he wants to impress and show her the best of himself, he wants to grab her attention, to show that "hey! Look at me! I'm the best cookie out there!" . The poor jester is just so damn infatuated he's obsessed. Aquamarine could ask him for anything and he'll get it. She asked him for a star? Easy-peasy, he's hunting Stardust down now. Ask him to kill someone and he will. He'll write a play specifically about her, all Aquamarine has to do is ask! And even then Shadow Milk's do the latter even if she doesn't ask.

Shadow Milk was trying to date with Aquamarine Cookie, but the 4 Gem Mermaids found out of what Aquamarine have, So the 4 Gem Mermaids get so angry when they asked Shadow Milk that he know other sea cookies because he called the 4 Gem Mermaids" jealous cookies" Shadow Milk had to fight the 4 of Aquamarine's Sisters but Shadow Milk used his skill to defeat the 4 Gem Mermaids, making them defeated. When the 4 Gem Mermaids are defeated, Shadow Milk win so he can keep Aquamarine Cookie and make her as her GF to be her Valentine's to be trust. the 4 Gem Mermaids lose because they didn't defeat Shadow Milk Cookie, These 4 Gem Mermaids are injured, they are hurt badly and they need to get healed

Since it's Valentine's Day I decided to make a Valentine's Day Special episode of The Adventures of the Gem Mermaids and the Jellyfish
