what would a family gathering be like for shadow milk cookie and aquamarine cookie? are the gem tearcrown mermaids joining and are the rest of the beasts joining too? (u can pick the setting of the gathering)

Tearcrown mermaids are joining for sure! They're Aquamarine Cookie's sisters, of course they'll be there!

The beasts, however, won't be joining, Shadow Milk Cookie doesn't really consider them "family" per say, moreso old friends if anything above "colleagues" at all. His minions are far more likely to be present at the gathering. Black Sapphire Cookie wants to flirt with Gold Citrine Cookie and if they're both coming that means they're leaving Candy Apple Cookie without supervision. God FORBID they leave Candy Apple Cookie without supervision.

But um...! Since the Gems Mermaids are gonna be there, so will Black Pearl, and that means the Ivory Dragon is joining too, and...! They don't really like each other..!

There's gonna be some tension the entire gathering, that's for sure.

How did shadow milk and aquamarine meet? Or more better, how did the two first interact?

Though, if you want the long answer, here you go.

Let's start with the fact that Shadow Milk likely knew of Aquamarine's existence long before she knew about his, after all, he sees most if not all of what happens all across Earthbread! He just. Didn't know it spread to the seas too before now. And what do you know? The first thing he sees is one peculiar little mermaid. So, of course, he did the reasonable thing and spied on her for a while! After all, he's always been curious as to what the merfolk's lives are, and now that he has the chance to satisfy said curiosity, why wouldn't he? Maybe he'll even get to spread his lies in the sea once he finds out enough! Really, no point in denying himself, is there?

The only thing he didn't take into account is the possibility of this turning into a fixation. All he's been doing is watching ONE mermaid. He should've bored himself out awhile ago, but noooo. And the worst thing? He doesn't even KNOW what's so captivating. Hell, he's started secretly bringing her some silly little trinkets! Him! The great Shadow Milk Cookie! Ohhhh, and she doesn't even KNOW IT'S HIM! The STRUGGLE he's going through! Ignorance is bliss, truly.

So, at some point he decides he's had more than enough. He'll go see that DAMN mermaid and he'll give her a piece of his mind. Yes, that's what he's gonna do!

... And. Well. He did. He told her how he's been watching her for a while, and how frustrating it is that she's been plaguing his mind. How is he supposed to achieve a world full of deceit when a mermaid is all he can think about?

And Aquamarine? She's surprised, to say the least. It's hard to say whether she's pleasantly surprised or not, actually. Yes, she's finally met the one who has been gifting her all those flowers and other trinkets, but also... THIS is who's been gifting her everything? Not only is it a land cookie, it's also a "Beast"... Well... Surely he can't be that bad, right? He doesn't seem like it.
