It sort of is and isn’t. If I wasn’t too lazy to do the “Cats of the Wild” comic, it would paint a clearer picture of things, I suppose. She doesn’t dress or act like that naturally.

Lore question: Are Léola and Tiffany loner/stand off-ish kinda gals (the cold shoulder type)? Or are they actually more approachable than they comes off (generally speaking, not just in a romantic sense, but also platonically)? :3

As far as Léola (and Kotora) goes, “canon” things about them and their world I’ll probably leave for this dumb comic I want to do. But Yeah. Guess you could say that they’re the standoffish type. Tiff is usually pretty cold to most people who aren’t her younger siblings.

.. I don’t know how to make compelling characters…

Okay, I spent WAY longer on this than I should have, but FUCK IT, Im bored and got free time. Lmao I'm going to post my opinions of VAs for your catgirl OCs (all are English btw, sorry sub fans lol). I'll post each OC in an separate ask, so I don't run out of space 4 text. Feel free 2 be BRUTALLY honest (it's just my opinions, so if it doesn't fit for u, that's cool). Also other followers are free to chime in with thoughts and suggestions of other possible VAs (LOVE to get other opinions x3).

Thought I’d bunch these up into one post.

These are some interesting choices. I’m not too familiar with the voices in anime on the English side, but I think the second choice for Léola sounds like it could fit.

Kat doesn’t speak much but if she did, she’d most likely be kind of monotone like C.C. She rarely ever shows any sort of emotion or facial expression, so I can see that as a fit. (nevermindthatoneahegaodrawingitwasjustaoneoffjoke) 

I’ve always imagined Kotora as sounding playful and naive, but serious when the situation calls for it. But I’m way too picky to choose who’d do good for the characters myself. My choices might depend on where I take them in the future, haha.

In years, how big is the fighting experience gap between Kotoro and Leola? Has Kotoro ever had a victory on Leola (or even landed a blow)? :3

Kotora has been fighting from a pretty young age, but Léola is definitely the more learned and experienced fighter compared to her.

Since she was brought up in the wild, Kotora pretty much jumps in fists flying, but has a lot more brute force. Léola on the other hand has a much more technical and somewhat deceptive fighting style, so it is difficult for most to keep up with her.

I started doing some storyboards about a year ago that I wanted to animate that would show how they fight, but scrapped it after the first couple pages, haha. Been meaning to work on a newer and better one so I have a bigger project to try and get myself back into more animating. I have a solid scene in mind that I think would look pretty neat in motion.

How would you describe the voices of your OCs? Are there any famous voice actresses that would come close to matching said voices (ex: I always envisioned Leola being voiced by Wendee Lee, like how she performed Yoruichi in Bleach)? Thx, love your characters and art. :3

Hmm, I haven’t given that much thought, to be honest. I’m shamefully not too familiar of many voice talents, so I guess that’s something I can give more thought on, haha. Haven’t watched much of Bleach either, but after seeing a few clips, I could really imagine Léola having that particular voice. :o

Thinking back, when I was first thinking about choices for Kat. I did consider that she might be the silent type, but I wasn't sure if u wanted a monotone character. I've noticed ppl tend to not like that type much, but personally I think they are underrated & can be great if acted well (ex C.C., Wednesday Addams, Mandy from "Billy and Mandy" or Maud from "My little Pony"). (also, I promise to stop bugging u with these asks now, sorry haha).

Maybe she wouldn’t be completely monotone, though to be honest, I can’t image a voice for her anyway. Being silent is one of her dumb quirks. Who knows how she really communicates with others. It’s a mystery to us, but non of the other characters seem to question it...

It’s cool though. I’m bad with responding, but I’m open to any window of discussion cuz I’m a lonely piece of fuq
