Jared Harris is going to get me to do something years of Sherlock Holmes hyperfixation couldn’t.

Some of you who followed me from the old times may know that I was completely obsessed with Sherlock Holmes (2009) for years. It led into branching off obsessions with the Sherlock Holmes canon, Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law and their other films, including Iron Man, which in turn led to an obsession with Marvel. Very much changed the course of my life and behaviour while I was at university. There’s good friends I would never had met if I’d not been so into Holmes ‘09.

However I also was in a romantic relationship which was closely interwoven with the Sherlock Holmes obsession. She was Holmes, I was Watson. It ended poorly (we were very young and I was very mentally unwell) and that kinda put a damper on the Ritchie Holmes universe for me. Game of Shadows finally came out in the UK and I just could not bring myself to see it, at all.

Years passed and it’s no longer a painful thing for me, I’ve rewatched SH09 many times and it still slaps. But I just never got around to/had the motivation to watch GOS, despite having it on DVD.

But I can feel Mr Harris raising one eyebrow at me from the back of the box in the DVD cabinet and I really think I’m gonna do it this time.

Check it out! Kopter Group AG has shared footage of the third SH09 prototype's first flight. Both P3 and the fourth prototype/pre-serial aircraft, PS4, will be used to complete the type's certification flights, with Kopter still hoping for initial certification by the end of 2019. Kopter reported at Helitech that it now has 65 orders and about 100 letters of intent for the SH09. Principality of Trinidad While traveling to Tibet before his marriage, Harden-Hickey noticed the tiny island of Trindade in the South Atlantic Ocean, which had never been claimed by any country and was, legally, terra nullius. In 1893, wanting an independent state where he could serve as its ruler, he claimed the island and proclaimed himself James I, the Prince of Trinidad.
