The manga focuses more on comedy. If you're looking for something more fun and fast-paced, I highly recommend checking it out.

Heterogenia Linguistico follows a linguistics student, Hakaba, while he continues his professor's research. His guide is the half werewolf child of said professor. The main interest of the manga are the languages spoken in the Netherworld. A lot of thought is put into how different speieces are able to communicate. The biology of the inhabitants effect their senses that then affect their languages. Written and spoken.

Heterogenia Linguistico is a comfortable read. The series is invested the in day to day life of monsters. Their cultures and how they coexist.

The serise is still ongoing with 5 volumes and 49 chapters! The manga is being officially translated to English with 4 volumes available now!
