Sfântul Ierarh Andrei, Arhiepiscopul Cretei, s-a născut în orașul Damasc, într-o pioasă familie creștină. Până la vârsta de șapte ani, băiatul a fost mut, fără a scoate vreo vorba. Totuși, după împărtășania din Sfintele Taine ale lui Hristos, și-a căpătat darul vorbirii. The resulting lumps are then held up into the light, producing a shadow that demands careful examination. Each member has their own “wheat” that they take care of. It is believed to be an indicator of how one’s next year is going to look like. (The bigger and the greener your wheat is, the better your year will be. ) PS: The actual Saint Andrew is on Monday (30.11) but we met my siblings-in-law today so we did the whole wax ritual today :D
