dream road trip

a dream road trip for bokay would be a national parks road trip!! for national parks in the US (link to an article can be found here!)

i’m from the pacific northwest of the US and that’s where we’d start!!

there are so many amazing parks in both this area and everywhere else!!

dream road trip would include a van like this that’s been all customized for an extended trip!!

lmao they are SO expensive but this is a dream road trip so 😌✨

road trip would involve a lot of hiking in different parks and stops at the beach when we’re along the coast

also!! ALL THE ROAD SIDE ATTRACTIONS!! biggest haystack?? YES random vortexes?? YES

we try and stop in small towns that we’ve never heard of before!! often picking them based on the names (like butte? definitely stop in butte bc it sounds like butt)

at every national park and every tourist trap, we get souveniers!! i collect enamel pins and put them on a ukulele case. bo collects anything and everything he finds that he likes

color changing pencil? NICE keychain that glows in the dark? OFC hat that says “aliens probed me? YOU KNOW IT

a lot of the places we stop it’s the first time we’ve been there and we (it’s me, ofc) always mark it down on the map!!

we take photos (selfies sometimes but we like to set up a timer and take them too) at all the places we stop!!

we have a polaroid camera that we use occasionally (but smh it is not cost efficient to use all the time)

we switch off w driving! bo likes to drive more during the day so i take one for the team and drive at night!

whoever isn’t driving picks the music!! sometimes if i’m getting rly tired i’ll put on a podcast (the adventure zone is a dnd podcast and SO GOOD) and if bo likes it he’ll get super into it but otherwise he takes a nap

road trip games include 20 questions, i-spy, and singing along to songs super loudly

windows are open as much as possible (OPEN WINDOW SUPREMACY) and music constant in the background

ofc i pick the open roads playlist when i have the aux 😌

tbh the road trip would be a dream vacation!!

but other than that, we rly want to go to hawaii together!!

bo has always wanted to go and is super excited about going snorkeling and scuba diving and looking at all of the amazing ocean life!!

he also wants to try surfing (if this isn’t surfer!bo that is)

but other than that, we just want to see all the nature and sights that there are!!

(we also go on vacation to hawaii at some point and throw a quick wedding together with our close friends!!)
