mario movie made me emotional more at 10
#but anyway it feels like if they do a sequel there cld be romantic development but i'm glad it wasn't a focus#also short mario. i like how that was made a part of his character like all the humans were animated in the same style but even among them#marios a short king#and i love it that's so true to form#i have extensive mario brothers backstory written and obviously the movie didn't match up with all of it#but i'm a BIG fan of brooklyn brothers i'm so glad they went that way vs mushroom kingdom origin#i sound insane but i wish there was more plumbing focus- and by that i mean i wanted to see them fix the big mess in the rich bathroom#and maybe like say a few. plumbing related things.#SORRY i just. i liked that one mario rpg where they gotta prove they are the real mario brothers by doing plumbing work for the castle lmao#also they didn't make a clear stance on the age difference between the brothers and i know they're probably leaning twins but i love my#several year age gap okay i know it's a rare opinion but luigi's a baby to me#also i really really want a Luigi's mansion movie now#i know they did a yoshi thing at the end but yoshi get outta here i want to see luigi in a mansion. saving mario okay#when he pulled the flashlight in the woods i was like: LUIGIS MANSION???!!#i loved the toolbag he was toting around the whole movie sm it was super reminiscent of luigi's ghost hunting gear#mario#okay. okay i'm normal.#it was a good movie though i need an uninterrupted version of that peaches song jack black is a fucking musical god i need to hear the whole#the whole track#man. anyway. good movie
