Certain cliques get along better than others, I’ll admit. I personally would never want to spend time with the gamers, or the skanks, but mean girls and hipsters and academics are pleasant. Santana’s already got plenty of accolades to her name; she doesn’t need to add the arts to her already impressive resume. I joined glee club partially as an opportunity to catch up with her in terms of appeal to college scouts. Did you do something to make them feel the need to be so extreme in their monitoring of you? How on earth are you ever able to have any sort of privacy? I’ve always seen a spark in you, Mason! I’m glad that you seem to really be living up to your potential. Classical music is excellent for stimulating underused parts of your brain, so I applaud that decision, even though you haven’t learned to really enjoy the beauty of it yet. Brittany’s a bit promiscuous but people seem to enjoy her company despite knowing her reputation, so I suppose that’s their mistake to make. Perhaps we should subtly investigate this matter and see if there are any people who might be at risk!

Are the other academics displeased with your choice? I’ve heard the most uproar from unhappy Mean Girls, who seem to think they’re far too good to take part in such an activity as singing. It’s a shame, really, considering I’ve heard most of them sing and they have lovely voices. Didn’t you have some kind of assignment sheet you could bring home for them to see? Or did they think you’d go to such extremes that you’d forge that sort of document? It’s true; the beauty of movies is that they each have their own unique spin, even if they sometimes tell similar stories. Oh, intriguing! Who is this person who’s captured your interest enough to make you want to break the rules? She’s a female, and she sings the song ‘Wind Beneath My Wings’, which is well worth a listen. There are other great songs of hers as well, but that would be the top of the list in my opinion. Precisely! Trophies are one of my favorite things, and I certainly won’t be satisfied unless we win one. 

Of course she’s not; it would be highly improbably for there to be someone else just like me here in Lima. Sam is a thing of the past, as he really didn’t live up to his potential once we got to high school. As is Biff, who I’ve learned rather unsettling truths about in recent days. Adam and I have the potential to be quite the power couple should we ever unite, but we’re both too serious about our sports to be bothered by something as trivial as romance. I’m sure you’re more than enough, Mason! I do wish you’d just tell me who this mystery lady is so that I could give a more knowledgable assessment of the situation.

I wasn’t aware that opinions had to be solicited before they could be stated. I suppose your post was satisfactory if you’re really just content to make your name at McKinley High School and McKinley High School alone, but some of us have higher aspirations than that and wish to draw in a larger fanbase.

Lets not and say we did seeing as I did not see, in my post, any point where I asked for an opinion. Namely, your opinion. My post was simple and played its role in letting everyone know I’m here. That’s the entire point of the post. They already know who I am, so what’s the point in blabbing any information about myself other than the fact that I, Kurt Hummel, made an appearance on this godforsaken website.

It seems odd that you’re a part of a clique that you don’t want to associate with; have you ever considered trying to make the leap into a more suitable group of people? But I’m glad to hear that you’re not interested in solos! While your voice is quite lovely, I feel that we’ll all get along much better as a team if there are less people jealous of me getting a majority of the desirable female parts.

I think I’m starting to get sick, honestly. Besides, sleeping feels good. Maybe not for that long, but it’s still good for you. Rachel… to be perfectly honest with the whole glee club thing, I could care less how many solos I get or if I even get any. Glee Club is just something else for me to do so I have reasons not to hang out with any of the other skanks since I’m still so far away from being one of them.

You raise excellent points, Quinn; it’s been rather discouraging to see that racial tensions have actually grown over the past few years rather than subsiding. If I were more politically oriented, I’d consider a career that would put me in a position of power where I might help, but instead I think I’ll focus on the wage gap that you’ve spoken about. Did you know that the highest payed female soccer player this year only makes 40,000 dollars per season, whereas the highest paying male makes 52 million? It’s a bit disgusting, really.

My Grandparents are finally gone!

On that we can agree. Though, I think we’re still a few generations out before we live in a tolerant civilization. Given all of the racial problems, and that there’s still such inequalities in even the pay scale for people that aren’t white, cis-gendered male, I’d say we have a long way to go.
