First Impressions:

I looooooove the lore, hot damn!! What a great way to accommodate the moves and the every-changing nature of clans! I also love the ill luck concept! It’s an interesting approach; mundane but unique!

I love how you haven’t dwelled on the tragedy of the lost or abandoned, it’s not heartless, but I didn’t have to sit through a tear-wrenching tale of tragedy. But on the flip side, it’s not all sunshine and cupcakes either, I AM VERY EXCITED TO GET STUCK INTO THIS!!

I can’t believe the damn colours though, how did you get this!? Like holy crap, how much did you have to spend on this bad boy!? IT’S NONE OF MY BUSINESS BUT GOSH DAMN, THIS IS SO FANTASTIC!!

I’d love to see a colour matched or halloweeney sort of Familiar!

Even with unfinished genes, he is so pretty omg!! How nicely does the Red Mantle and Scarlet Antennae blend in with the Crimson!? Such love!! The only thing that shits me to no end is the stupid purple in the Crimson Silks. WHY THE FECK DID THEY DO THAT!? THEY RUIN EVERYTHING!!!

WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK IS HAPPENING HERE!? What did you do!? Why this, WHY THIS!? On the plus side, I tried the preview of every peice of apparel on a Male Ridgeback trying to figure out what was on the wings below the fan... it’s fecking Circuit... I am a fool!

I really love the colours, and I love that you’ve gone with Circuit over the standard underbelly... and I love me some Male Ridgies... SHAME YOU DECIDED TO SHAME HIM WITH THAT CLUSTERFUCK OF RANDOM CREME AND BROWN GARBAGE!

Okay but seriously... no, the Bangar looks great with the colours... but this is bad and you should feeld bad.

He looks like a stone statue... like he was once a royalty or wealthy or something and maybe he crossed someone with great power who turned him to stone.... omg, how lame are my lore ideas!?

This has been on my mind! It seems like the people at the hospital are really TRYING to be inclusive and supportive, but even in a class of just us and another couple they still can’t get the language right and it’s awkward for everyone. (“The baby will need mom and dad and.. Or… mom…”)

Like I mentioned, there is ABSOLUTELY NO education on this in our schooling. Chances are, they went through a training in the hospital after some time. I’m not sure where you’re from, either, but in states where gay marriage wasn’t legal until the federal court ruling, people still tend to stay closeted, so even if they’re in a program that SHOULD support them, they don’t want it mentioned because they’re still afraid of the judgement that being out can bring. Plus, if you know your community/area tends to be homophobic, even in states where its been legal to be married for some time, people obviously are more inclined to be closeted.

As such, the exposure is minimal. I don’t think it really excuses the behavior of not being able to get it right, especially if you’re there with your wife and are in plain view, but I mean. Trying is trying.

Some points for effort, loss if its in plain view or they’ve been working with you (you haven’t had different providers each time) for the entire time.

So first of all, your front page is GOALS. like, there’s just so many gorgeous neutral G1s and the colors are all delightful, including the tertiaries! (like how??) I really like the individuality you’ve given to all of these guys with the genes + accents, even though their outfits are centered around the solar blades and little shadow bunny guy.

The first dragon that caught my eye was Kaisan because that accent is so good paired with the cowl. A perfect mix of regal and spooky. Again, I’m amazed (and kind of intimidated!!!) at the devotion that’s gone into your first page. I’m weak for beige. If beige had a mailbox, I’d send it flowers and chocolates.

Genan makes me cry happy tears like damn daniel, back at it again with the XYY g1. Dust and moon make such a gorgeous combo and idk if the accent is a permanent fixture but it’s A+ on her. Really brings out them lightning eyes. 

OHH man I just noticed your matching familiars on your dragons and mmm good stuff right there.

Lastly, your tardigrade baby is a show stealer. I’m a sucker for orca and all the funky patterns it can create, and I really like the contrast between the super stark current + the smoother glimmer. And I mean... Bear is a waterbear. Perfect. A+. I love those things. When I scrolled down to the bio I fist-pumped mentally, because my mom’s in the same room as me right now and she’d probably judge me if I actually did it.

Anyways, your lair is filled to the brim with so many stunning G1s and these three are just the ones that stuck out to me at my first perusal. I hope you don’t mind that I patted your avatar’s head in hopes of getting some RNG egg luck. pls let me have nice neutral babies for once RNG. pls.

OMFG... Okay, firstly, the white spinner makes your Fae look transparent! Or like a ghost.... oh wait... scythe... like the Grim Reaper?  ...oh, and the Reaper Guise. ... I’m not a smart man. The Raiders Fur gear works SO well to tie the blacks in with the greys in the white spinner! You’ve done REALLY well with this, fuck!

It kind of reminds me of what whathisname from ..Dark Note... Black Book... DEATH NOTE! I’m down with cool things, I swear! A Slamalamadingdong right back at ya! 

I love the Goblin with him! He comes off as so sinister!

Partly...Partly what!? PARTLY GENED!? TBH I actually really like him Partly gened! The Shale Basic is such a perfect Matte Black! And you’ve matched the purples togethers SO WELL!! I know this is probably temporary but I REALLY LIKE IT!!!

THIS IS SO NICE OMG! THE SHADOWS EYES WITH THE CONJURER’S HAT AND THE SYMBOL ON THE BOOK!! SOOOO PERFECT! And the way the back wing or whatever looks like a beard! IS THAT WELL KNOWN!? DO PEOPLE REALISE IT LOOKS LIKE A BEARD!? Probably. Anyway, it makes it look like this scraggly old wizard who has studied the arts for many a year – and tundras look like they’re smiling so he looks like one of those jolly old chaps who always has a positive outlook and a song or a joke for someone when they’re down.

The browns and golds in the book match so nicely with the hop!

SHAME YOU’RE GOING TO MAKE IT A DAMN COATL! Okay, actually, she’s going to look freaking AMAZING... like she’s charging with energy or power or something. BUT STILL, SASS!

Oh. My. WORD! He is so freaking beautiful, holy crap!! I know the picture at the bottom suggests that you’re going to add Glimmer, but LOOK HOW NICELY THE UNDERBELLY ACENTUATES THE GRADIENT (?) IN THE SHIMMER!?!?! Gosh damn, you’ve  complimented the purples in the Azure SO perfectly! HOW GREAT IS AZURE!?

If you look at the spots from Giraffe on the face, mixed with the crazy eyes.. Makes her look like she’s also old but a little bit eccentric – SEE HOW WELL SHE’D MATCH WITH TUNDRA CECILIA!? Look at me, trying to muscle my way into your clan lore.

NOTE LIKE YOU HAVE MUCH HMMM, WHERE MY LORE AT HMMMM. Seriously, did you write the lore on your profile? Because I freaking LOVE IT and i’m so intrigued!!!

Okay, I don’t know how you managed to put what.... 12 pieces of apparel and somehow leave it looking UNCLUTTERED!? This is so cool! I love greens with purples and... THE CLAWTIPS ARE AFFECTING THE WINGS!? I’ve never  noticed! I also just noticed that cauldron was an accent!? That’s so freaking cool and you’ve matched it so well! On that note... I need more frogs in my clan!!!

Okay, this. This is so nice! I don’t even like pink... and the overlapping stuff makes me feel like you’re trolling... but this is really freaking cute! You’ve matched the pinks super well and it contrasts so well with the Browns, sSilvers and whites! Really well done with this one!  She’s so cutesy, it makes clutching the Pearl look so loving and delicate! Definitely a win! Or, as Leonard would say “It’s a buy!” (I’m rewatching Community).

Mmmmm yes, this is gorgeous!!! You so rarely see Magmatic Pauldrons look good! You have freaking nailed this! And the golds really match with the Familiar!! I’m sorry, these are getting so short (or maybe that’s a good thing?)

I really appreciate that they try, because I *am* in the midwest and I am in a smaller, politically conservative, Catholic town. I do tell everyone my wife is my wife, but it’s less out of a desire to push people out of their comfort zone and more out of a desire to just be honest and not have to spin a web of lies. So I totally think points for trying but I see them being uncomfortable and then I feel bad that I’m causing people to be uncomfortable.. I’m rambling.

Yeah, I mean. I’m not like THEY’RE THE WORST but they get a C grade. Could do better, enough to pass. And in your area then yeah, it is more than what you’d normally expect.

Its the worst when you make someone uncomfortable because of what you are. Cause it makes you feel bad for the way you are. In my experience its always “If I was just straight/nt/normal then I wouldn’t cause issues” (I’m in a similar situation- midwest, entire like. county. is heavily conservative. catholic/christian).

We had a work meeting and I pulled up directions on my phone and directed my co-worker who was driving deep into the country to some random tiny town Lion's Club. They still make fun of me.
