Tier 1:

- jun in nct dream - During the 2019 Dream Concert, Renjun from NCT Dream grabbed Jun's hand and made him bow with the rest of Dream! This joke has been ongoing because of the close friendship between Chinaline and NCT/SVT.

- mafia - SVT is known for their addiction to the Mafia game as seen in Going Seventeen and other variety shows that they've been on. Don't lie even got a huge feature in 2023's GoSe, which caused Carats to complain (in good nature) about how long they were going to stretch it out.

- melona room - The Melona Room (green room) is the infamous place where SVT used to practice during their predebut days! They had a show called 17TV where fans or observers could watch all of them messing around and practicing inside. Many strange things (e.g. the sebongs sleeping in tents and using cardboard as blankets, the iconic woozi and mingyu guitar photo, seoksoon giving birth to samuel, and more) happened in that room, causing Carats to dub it as the "cursed" melona room.

- AJU NICE - Seventeen has gone viral numerous times due to their song "Aju Nice". It's a staple anthem and they include it in every concert as a Neverending Aju Nice, where the song repeats over and over and over. There was a video in 2020 of a compilation of times the sebong's were jumpscared by Aju Nice playing that went viral.

- svt in the pool in the background of gg post - (Okay, so I knew this one was someone from Le Sserafim, but it was 5am and I could NOT find the source,,,) Mingyu and Woozi were spotted in the background of Le Sserafim's Yunjin's photo at a pool while attending the TMEA Tencet Music Awards 2023 in Macau.

- shingi banggi boong boong banggi - In 2021, Jeonghan (during a live with Seungkwan) created a nonsensical saying and told Carats to blow it up and Carats being the faithful fans they are, took it to an extreme. They commented it under numerous idols and celebrities' (stray kids, ateez, txt, enhypen, loona, monsta x, and many more) posts until the target read it aloud and questioned what it meant. The funniest part was most of them laughed at how ridiculous it sounded until they found out that Jeonghan created it, resulting in them doing a complete switch up and saying how genius he was. The saying was even nominated as the K-Idol meme of the year.

— lives for it ✩ seungcheol, soonyoung, seokmin, chan.

to absolutely no one's surprise, seokmin is the most likely to revel in astrology. he likes the little daily horoscopes and reminders that he feels are 'curated' to him. you may have to warn him every so often that these are mere suggestions, and not in fact something that should be taken to heart. on the flipside, chan's interest in astrology may come as a bit of a surprise! really, though, he seems to just enjoy the memes attached to his sign. expect to be on the receiving end of a lot of aquarius-related jokes or jabs. seungcheol is 100% the type to say "it's because i'm a leo" without really understanding what being a leo entails. he feels like it excuses a lot of his behavior, so he'll probably lean into it for the hell of it. soonyoung is similar, though he takes it more to the extremes. he might wreak havoc and then proceed to justify it by reasoning that he's a gemini.

— begrudging acceptance ✩ jeonghan, mingyu, seungkwan.

the vibes in this line is very "what the hell, sure." mingyu is admittedly bordering on 'lives for it' and 'general confusion', which just means there are times where he might deign to act on his horoscope of the day. as it is, though, he doesn't really understand what being an aries means in the grand scheme of things. jeonghan openly judges you for this, but he also knows there's no stopping you. he'll listen to his horoscope with mild interest; he's not about to do anything with it, and he may even make some snide comments here and there about you being gullible. seungkwan will subscribe to astrology when it benefits him. is his horoscope good for the week? alright, then he's happy to be a capricorn! is mercury in retrograde? eh, astrology doesn't mean that much, anyway.

— general confusion ✩ joshua, junhui, jihoon.

these boys have no idea what you're talking about. jihoon is the most confused out of everyone, admittedly, because what does being a sagittarius have to do with anything? he no longer tries to hide the fact that he's completely clued out on anything astrology-related, though he'll let you say anything if it makes you happy. joshua is confused but also pleasantly surprised every time you relate his behavior to being a capricorn. he'll look things up as necessary and debunk them, even, if he thinks it's not relevant. junhui gets frustrated, more often than not, and so you can expect some overreactions when you clock him for being a gemini. he will want in-depth reads as to how you related his actions to his sign; be warned, he'll be rolling his eyes and scoffing quite a bit.

— vehement denial of anything & everything astrology ✩ wonwoo, minghao, vernon.

this feels relatively self-explanatory. these three aren't accepting or confused. they are bona fide disbelievers and haters of astrology, and any/all mentions of it will only serve to irk them. wonwoo? narrowing his eyes at you, as if anticipating that you'll chalk up his behavior to being a cancer. ready with a quip and a groan for when, inevitably, you fall right into the stereotype. minghao? launching into a whole tirade about the death of free thinking. his side eye is absolutely lethal as he mumbles about the cons of astrology. and vernon? he hates being perceived, but he hates it even more when he's lumped in with a whole group of people solely because of his sign. expect his grumblings of "be for fucking real" as he mopes about your predictions.

Choi Seungcheol

Character : The first princess

Story : As the first born and oldest prince, a lot of pressure had been on his shoulders the moment he was born. And that, even if he had eleven brothers after him. He had to grow up before he was ready for it to please the expectation of his father, and so, his only pleasure and release from his life was dancing. A secret he thought he would take to the grave of it wasn't for his brothers following after him in his secret passion.

Fortunately, you're here to help him with getting dancing shoes. He doesn't know how he would keep up if you weren't here. Don't you ever think about not coming to the palace anymore. He won't accept it.

Yoon Jeonghan

Character : The second princess

Story : He is part of the mischievous 'angel-devil' duo with his irish twin, and he plays the devil. With a talent for words and manipulation, it's no surprise that everyone is wary of him behind his business smile, but this is also a talent that makes him an excellent negotiator. Especially when he convinced you to take care specially of making dancing shoes for his brothers and himself.

But be careful not to cross him or back out the deal. He is smarter than you and will make you pay the price tenfold for even thinking about it.

Hong Jisoo

Character : The third Princess

Story : He is part of the mischievous 'angel-devil' duo with his irish twin, and he plays the angel. But don't be fooled, behind his deceiving sweet face and manners he is just as bad as his brother. That doesn't mean he is just like him. Joshua likes to think of himself as a gentleman, one that has manners and know how to properly take care of a lady. He is always eager and happy to help you when you come by to deliver their dancing shoes.

What do you mean you don't need help? Don't be silly, just let him help you, he has your best interest at heart.

Wen Junhui

Character : The fourth princess

Story : The firstborn son of the concubine of the king. Junhui, despite not having the same mother as the rest of his brothers, it had never been a problem among them. Despite his quiet and discreet personality, he has a love for dancing, especially the style of his mother's culture. And so this is one of his common points and interest with the rest of his brothers. Otherwise he like to stay in the back and watch things happening.

But you... You've seen him from the start and encouraged him to step forward with his passion. And now you want to leave? Your gaze shined the light on him, you don't get to leave till the end of the performance.

Kwon Soonyoung

Character : The fifth princess

Story : A loud and eccentric prince who is actually an introvert when interacting with people outside his family. Fully believe to be a tiger, even 'a magnificent tiger cursed into a human form'. This causes quite a few sighs and headaches among his brothers. But for a tiger, he is truly talented with dancing and is his favorite pastime when not bouncing around to yapp about being a tiger.

Now you, you are the only one who knew what his tiger feet needed and actually take the time to listen to his words. So bunny don't think about leaving his den now. You're under the tiger prince protection.

Jeon Wonwoo

Character : The sixth princess

Story : A serious and stoic looking prince who just want to live and do his things with getting bothered. Tall and lanky with an affinity more for inside activities than outside, no one would have guessed he is as fanatical about dancing as his brothers. While he loves a good dance, he also loves his books and quiet in the library. His energy stock isn't as high as the rest.

At least you understand him on that point. Everyone else is always busy running around and being too energetic. So take a seat and stay by his side. He doesn't mean it just for now but forever.

Lee Jihoon

Character : The seventh princess

Story : The grumpy cat-looking prince who is also the shortest. But what he lack in heights, he compensate in strength and a passion for music that goes above his brothers interest. He is a musician and composer, truly dedicating himself to music. Dancing is just another layer on the cake for him, even if he has to admit sharing this passion with his brothers isn't unpleasant.

But you're important too! After all nothing would be possible without you. You are his muse, the source of his artistic inspiration. If you were to leave, his mind wouldn't accept it and fall apart in madness.

Seventeen jeonghan x wonwoo This Man / Last Night lore

Absolutely adore story type MVs and I'm so glad seventeen released an actual story for This Man unlike Bittersweet like goddamit I hate the Bittersweet promotions zero music shows zero dance practice zero anything at all until that ONE singular concert like are u fucking with me...

Also I'm soooSOSOSOSOS glad wonwoo is one of my biases (woozi🔛🔝) cause I get to enjoy these kinda story type MVs that I fucking love with my BIAS in it TWICE and the only 2 ever story type MVs seventeen (or any of the members) have and god bless my other bias jeonghan is in this one😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏🙏

And and and I think it's quite fun how in this lore it's kinda bitter x sweet too!!!!!!!! I'll explain it downstairs but anyways wonwoo is still bitter but this time sweet is jeonghan

Anyways since I was really invested in the story I "read" the audiobook and watched some lore explaining video that I'll link but this is a MV "analysis"/"explanation" of which parts of the MV corresponds to the part of the audiobook cause I fucking love the lore of it and i think it would've been a good novel

This obviously is a spoiler for anyone who wants to watch the audiobook on their own so just a spoiler warning

Sand is actually not wonwoos ability, the sand represents the fake dream beings aka the other people in the dream besides the dreamer (aka everyone that's not the dreamer). So if I'm not wrong JH pulls people into dreams and has the ability to make them dream happy things (bitterSWEET) so when these happy dream moments are destroyed it turns to sand

I can't remember which one it is but in the audiobook it says JH makes people sleep to "get energy" to recreate A (I'm not fwu it's really called A it's that sheet ghost thingy) OR he makes them sleep to sustain his dream world where he continuously replays the happiest moment of his life with A (actually I'm not sure about the recreating A maybe I just interpreted it wrong)

The MV explanation video mentions that "gate closed" is because the sleeping people can't get out of the sweet dreams JH trapped them in(?)

But making these people sleep for too long without eating or drinking will make them die obviously

On the packet it says TRUE Lemonade according to that lore video (so big brained honestly how tf did I not connect the dots) wonwoo drinks LEMONade because when life gives you lemons make what? Lemonade. Yea smart so genius actually

So apparently wonwoo can also go into dreams or not I forgor? He likes the hustle and bustle of the city and likes visiting people's dreams and if he meets people who can't sleep he helps them fall into a dreamless slumber

And This Man rumours began to spread because people online say that when they can't sleep somehow sometimes they would magically fall asleep and sleep like a log and wake up not remembering how they drift to Dreamland but they sometimes find a lemonade packet

This should be the scene where wonwoo hears people talking about This Man that lets people dream sweet dreams and he asks to see what they are talking about and he sees a picture of himself staring back at him (because he IS the This Man) iirc there are two This Man rumours going around and one is This Man let's you sleep without dreaming and the other This Man let's you dream sweet dreams and obviously both look different so in another scene in the audiobook ww hears some people talk about another this man and sees a completely different face (JH)

This is JHs Dreamland where he covers things in a white sheet because he can't remember how they look like anymore (is this a hint that he's an immortal or a long lived species? Is he an elf?? Just a theory not cannon)

Lights are turning off because JH is bringing more and more people into an eternal sweet dream, so less people awake = lesser lights on

This is the happiest day of JHs life where he drinks soup with A

Jh can't remember how A looks like anymore but he can remember their eyes so in the audiobook the sheet actually has two eyeholes like 👻 legits

JH remembers that A said pepper in soup is like life you can't undo it (or something along the lines of that I can't remember BUT it is important so keep it in mind it'll reappear at the end)

When I woke up, I didn't think today would be the day that Seventeen would be kidnapped straight from their second concert in Tokyo only for Mingyu to lose his passport amidst the chaos and then have the staff ask fans to search for his passport in the airport, while also asking them to create content and airdrop said content to them, presumably so they can add it into the reality show, Youth Over Flowers, a show they won after participating in their solo Game Caterers episode several months ago.

For the FR lore asks: Peregrin sounds like an interesting creature, wanna tell us more about her? DHow did Diciassette and Cymbeline become friends?

On Peregrin:

Do you ever buy a dragon for an accent and intend to give them lore but just... never do? At least not expansive lore? Peregrin is that.

She's a cryptic figure around the Starwood Strand. Angelic at first glance, but it's clear she's not entirely that, so what is she then? Paradisium isn't sure. Folks figure she's a little bit like Angel, since it's somehow able to talk with her (Peregrin doesn't speak the common draconic language; "triangles" is a placeholder for something more incomprehensible). And Angel's a demon (I promise that makes sense if you look at its lore). So maybe Peregrin is one, too? Not from its world, though. She's something else, and that's all they know.

She doesn't really have a room in the clan. She has her perches of starwood near the entrance, and that makes her happy enough (but it doesn't make Seinaru, the actual starwood fairy of the clan, happy at all). She watches over them with curiosity and occasionally pokes her head in with a calming presence. She seemingly likes seeing Cerasus' workshop most.

On Sette and Cym's friendship:

Man, it's been a while since I've seen these two side-by-side. Their aesthetics are completely opposite of each other, but there's still similarities...

Them being friends was one of the first things I established with adding Cym to the lore, it seems. It didn't even start as anything grand- Sette just offered his room to sleep in on her first night of joining the clan. That was way before he had to worry about the demons, so he was a lot more open with his kindness. (Not to say he isn't open these days, but he is a lot more on guard.)

After that night, they bonded over being magic-focused. While Sette's on the route of being a cleric, Cym still encourages him however she can. And when Penumbra was founded, inspired by her magic techniques, Sette was one of the first to enroll to follow a similar route.
