Background of the second art: I found a small pack of stickers with Alice (an AI assistant who lives in my house and helps me manage it), I wanted to add a sticker "Live with Alice", but I came up with a better idea. I wrote this sentence in Esperanto, but instead of Alice, I inserted an AIkarus and some of the stickers from the pack. :]

Okay, so I actually really agonized over what to do for this one.  I was originally planning to just do flat-out seven Sephiroth/Tseng fics for this week, but this prompt, man... I just turned on my music and went for it.  So enjoy this stream-of-consciousness thing that I wrote.

Day 2: Dove

("Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed citizens of Midgar, I stand before you today with a heavy heart, but also with a sense of duty and determination!")

It was supposed to be a day to drum up support in the public.  It was supposed to be a day of displaying the military might of Shinra and of rousing speeches from those in charge and of half-sobbed narratives told by carefully-screened and appropriately-grateful Wutaian ex-pats who had been relocated to Midgar.  But Sephiroth wasn't listening.  He wasn't there to be anything more than a statue anyway, a looming figure behind President Shinra as he spoke to the press about the success in the war.
