Weight stuff

So yesterday i was standing outside a Hardee’s leeching off the wifi and one of the employees (teenage girl couldn’t have been more than 17) walked past me and said “hey i like your outfit”.

This is what i was wearing:

I was confused because: this is not an outfit? It’s literally a secondhand t-shirt (no idea who Piper is or why she has a posse 🤷) and climbing pants.

But the way this girl said it, she just blurted it out, then stammered something about how it all went together well and then kind of awkwardly scurried off.

I can’t help but think that she didn’t “like my outfit” so much as she liked that I’m basically emaciated rn (having a hard time cracking 140 lbs these days) because I’ve been hiking/walking/running and not doing any strength training and all my clothes hang suuuuuuper loose on me. Which is a thing— there was a whole thing on twitter a while ago about “is it a good outfit or is she just thin”— and also i find it personally fucking annoying! I hate that people perceive clothing as being automatically higher quality or more fashionable if the person wearing it is underweight or near to it! And i don’t like being this skinny and i don’t like being reminded that people like me more when I’m too weak to even do a bridge, a thing that, until a few months ago, i had been consistently able to do since i was seven years old:

NEW YORK -Split-T Management fighters will dominate the boxing world on Saturday as former undisputed lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez takes on Sandor Martin in a WBC Elimination bout at Madison Square Garden. Earlier in the day, IBF Bantamweight champion Ebanie Bridges makes the first defense of her title when she takes on Shannon O'Connell. If that wasn't enough, 2020 United States Olympian Tiger Johnson will kick off the festivities at Madison Square Garden when he battles Mike Ohan Jr. in an eight-round junior middleweight bout.

Lopez will be looking to take a big step towards becoming a two-division world champion when he takes on the upset-specialist Martin. The bout will headline in what has become Lopez's annual fight night at the Garden that follows the Heisman Trophy presentation on ESPN.

Lopez of Las Vegas, by way of Brooklyn, is 17-1 with 13 knockouts. The 25-year-old is one of the most popular and charismatic pugilists in the sport. He has become a staple fighting at The Garden on Heisman night. He stopped Mason Menard in the opening round in 2018, and In 2019, Lopez knocked out Richard Commey in two rounds to win the IBF Lightweight title.

On October 17, 2020, Lopez won a 12-round unanimous decision over Vasiliy Lomachenko to capture the undisputed Lightweight title. Lopez made his super lightweight debut on August 13th by stopping Pedro Campa in seven rounds in Las Vegas.

Hyundai N Vision 74 (prototype). 

Hydrogen fuel cell EVs aren't particularly sexy, or at least, they weren't. Say hello to the Hyundai N Vision 74 concept, a high-performance hydrogen fuel cell-powered EV meant to bridge EV power and performance with liquid fuel range. Hyundai's N high-performance sub-brand has been working on battery and fuel cell-powered performance prototypes for seven years now, and the project is beginning to bear some exciting fruit. The N Vision 74 aims to solve the biggest issue with high-performance EVs: the lack of range. The N people call it a "hydrogen hybrid."

Running flat-out, batteries don't last long. A previous all-electric prototype, the RM20e, only had 25 miles of range when driven on a racetrack, and while making the battery bigger would give it more range, it would also significantly increase the weight and hurts performance. Hyundai's solution: add a hydrogen fuel cell instead which combines compressed hydrogen from onboard tanks with oxygen in the atmosphere to create electricity and water, then use that electricity to power the electric motors. With just 4.2 kilograms of hydrogen onboard and a fully charged 62.4-kWh battery, Hyundai claims the N Vision 74 has a range of more than 373 miles when driven gently. It's bound to be much less when driven hard, as the dual rear electric motors suck down electrons to the tune of more than 580 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. That's enough to give the sleek, angular coupe a top speed of over 155 mph and the ability to hit 60 mph in four seconds. The company is looking into adding a front motor in future prototypes which would reduce acceleration times even further. In addition to adding range, the fuel cell also reduces refueling time to just five minutes. The battery, meanwhile, is capable of charging at 800 volts, which should drop its charging time from 10 percent to 80 percent to under 18 minutes, based on production Hyundai EVs with similar battery technology. The fuel cell can pump out a maximum of 95 kW to help power the motors or recharge the battery.

The fuel cell itself is located under the hood, while a pair of hydrogen storage tanks are fitted in the trunk. A T-shaped battery fits behind and between the two seats, keeping the heaviest component in the center of the car for better weight distribution. Regardless of source, power is fed to a pair of motors on the rear axle, one driving each rear wheel. This allows the computer to perform torque vectoring in the same fashion as an electronically controlled limited slip differential, a trick the N engineers used to great success on the RM20e concept. Keeping the fuel cell, battery, and motors cool presents an enormous challenge, so the N Vision 74 features three separate cooling circuits serving each system separately. The goal is to have the car run a flat-out lap of the challenging Nürburgring Nordschleife without overheating and reducing power.

As cool as the numbers are, they're nothing compared to the car itself. Inspired by the Giorgetto Giugiaro-designed 1974 Hyundai Pony Coupe concept, the N Vision 74 looks like a restomod '70s supercar. We see a lot of Lancia 037 and DeLorean DMC-12 in the look, enhanced with massive side air intakes and an enormous rear wing, neither of which would look out of place on a modern Lamborghini. We love the turbine-style 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels, which have been wrapped in what must be the widest tires ever on a Hyundai, 295 width up front and 325 in the rear. The pixelated headlights from the Hyundai Ioniq 5 give it a real retro-futuristic look we can't help but love. The DeLorean bit is no accident. When Hyundai wasn't able to bring the Pony Coupe to market for a variety of reasons (lack of a proper engine, not to mention lacking general market awareness and acceptance), Giugiaro continued to refine the design and eventually sold the new version to DeLorean.

Vito Koi is the second member of the Meguro Division rap battle group, DOG STREET CLUB. He is often called by his MC name, Strongarm. A former high-ranking member of a well-known corporation that had been bought out by Chuohku, Vito is a knowledgeable man with a huge chip on his shoulder. Upset that he was unable to protect his former master from being assassinated, he quietly waits and bides his time before he can exact revenge on those responsible.

Vito is a gruff man in his late 20s. Despite his quiet demeanor, he is visually imposing, due in no small part to the scars on his face and his menacing red eyes. Personality

Vito is a quiet and reserved man who prefers to let his actions speak for him instead of relying on words. Much like his teammate and rival, Saji, Vito also experienced abandonment and gang violence at an early age, though that wasn't enough to make him close his heart off like his leader. He has his share of burdens, but doesn't like to share them with others, preferring to keep his thoughts and opinions to himself unless asked.

He is a very loyal and honorable person. Before his current professions, he served as a bodyguard, putting his life on the line to protect his master from any threat that came near him. He has a code that prohibits him from hurting women, much like Samatoki Aohitsugi. However, it was this same code that prevented him from being able to save his master from being assassinated, something he regrets to this day.

As stated, Vito is a quiet person, which, combined with his demonic and strange appearance, makes him seem scary to most people, though that is not his intention. If people worked up the nerve to approach him, they'd see that despite his brutish looks, he is actually an intelligent and cultured man, very dedicated to his work. Despite his large body and hands, he is an extremely talented artist. He takes his artwork very seriously, often going through several revisions before finalizing them, making him, perhaps, the most sought out tattoo artist in all of Japan.

Background

Born an orphan in Meguro, Vito was introduced to gang violence at a very young age, eventually joining up with a gang called, 'The Divine Wind'. Working his way up, he eventually became his leader's right-hand man, making him the second-most important person in the gang.

After a small scale turf battle which the gang's younger members started, he was then praised and lauded by the rival Mafia boss for having easily defeated his strongest thug, describing it as 'a dog mauling on a helpless rag doll.' It was then the boss offered Vito a job, promising that if he succeeded, he'd lay off his gang's territory.

The Mafia boss asked Vito to kill a man belonging to a certain organization known as 'Master Mafuyu', CEO and creator of 'Mafuyu Enterprises', an corporation skilled in biochemical research. During an opportune moment, Vito made his way through Mafuyu's bodyguards as if they were nothing. Undaunted and staring into the face of his assailant, Mafuyu appeared to have gained Vito's attention and respect, ultimately swaying the former gang boss to his ranks.

During his tenure at Mafuyu Group Security, Vito had also met leading Mafuyu agent Mei Yu, otherwise known by her code name, Zhurong. Though he rose up to be one of Mafuyu's most loyal and dedicated bodyguards, living in Vito's shadow made Mei feel insecure and deeply jealous. Her resentment became even stronger after he refused to partake in a duel with her, as it was against his own principles to ever raise his hand against a woman.

This turned out to be his undoing, as Master Mafuyu was sadly assassinated, which crushed Vito dearly. Upset at Mei for having been his bodyguard at the time, he was shocked to find out that Master Mafuyu had always been her target, and that she never had any love or loyalty for him or his organization. To make matters worse, she would go even further and frame Vito for the crime, ordering security to gun him down, leaving him mentally and physically scarred.

Somehow, the former security officer survived the attempted assassination. Taking three months to heal his wounds, he later found out that Mei Yu was part of Chuohku, who had hired her to assassinate Mafuyu. Knowing he'd stand no chance against an organization like that, Vito decided the best thing to do would be to simply bide his time and wait. He eventually signed on to become a bouncer; his intimidating appearance and presence helped to open many doors for him, though he didn't find much solace in this.

A year later, he was soon joined by Yeong and Saji, two newcomer bouncers who proved quite effective at their job. The three of them have proved an effective unit, helping to make Meguro a safer place. But will their teamwork help them in the D.R.B.? Only time will tell...

Chat Noir has one request. It's a simple request, really, one he doesn't understand Ladybug's reluctance to grant. He just wants Multimouse to come back as part of the team once in a while. He's absolutely sure she would be an amazing hero, and he's going to tell his partner exactly why, as soon as she arrives for patrol. He's practiced this. He has a list. There's no way she can say no! Right?

Three things happen in quick succession. Ladybug lands on the roof, her yo-yo retracts with its telltale zip, and Chat Noir springs to his feet.

He's waited nineteen agonizing minutes for his partner to arrive, though that's partly his fault for getting here so early on her solo patrol night. He just...he has something he needs to say, and he's ready to say it. He's been ready.

"Hey, Kitty. I thought it was just me tonight. Everything okay?" Ladybug cocks her head and looks at him with mild concern. She seems to have already assessed that he's physically well and has moved on to trying to figure out if the same is true emotionally. She really is a wonderful partner, and he loves her beyond measure. That's why he doesn't understand why he even needs the list currently burning a hole in his pocket.

He smiles, hoping to put her at ease. That'll make this easier. Hopefully. "I'm just fine, LB. But I was hoping we could talk."

"O...kay," she says, her brows furrowing further. "What is it?"

Chat takes a deep breath, lets it out through his nose, and sets his shoulders, determined. "I think we should bring back Multimouse."

Any trace of worry slips from her face in an instant. She pinches the bridge of her nose and closes her eyes. It's her turn to take a deep breath.

He waits, impatient and a little nervous. This isn't an auspicious start.

He resolutely ignores the fact that her pose reminds him of his father, mulling over his son's perceived transgressions with annoyance just before he relegates Adrien to his room for an indeterminate prison sentence.

Yeah, he's not focusing on that. Ladybug is not his father. He chooses to defer to her because she's proven to be a brilliant strategist, but he has no intention of prostrating himself in submission to one more person. If they're supposed to be equals, he deserves the chance to plead his case, at the very least.

She opens her eyes and lets her hands fall to her sides. He doesn't see a refusal in her expression, neither is it a look of capitulation. But that's okay. He has his list.

"Chat, we've talked about this," she says wearily, shaking her head just a fraction.

"I know we have. But I still think she would be an incredible addition to the team, even if it's just temporary." Ladybug opens her mouth to speak, but Chat barrels on. "You don't know Marinette, My Lady. Not like I do. She's so smart and creative! She comes up with plans to help people all the time. She thinks quickly on her feet and--" He stops when his partner snorts.

One eyebrow arched in derision, Ladybug huffs another laugh before muttering, "If she's on her feet at all. That girl is clumsy."

His blood turns to ice. "What did you say, Ladybug?" He himself is surprised by the timbre of his voice, deep and even and just hinting at the wave of defensive anger he's actively holding back. His partner is even more surprised.

"Oh, Kitty, I'm just joking!" She waves her hands in supplication. "Marinette and I are friends. I'm just as clumsy as she is, and she knows it." Ladybug smiles and his ire dissipates as quickly as it came. "So do you, in fact."

"Of course. I could never forget the first time I met Miss Maladroit."

"Don't I know it." Ladybug rolls her eyes, folding her legs beneath her to sit cross-legged on the roof beside him. She gazes up at him, eyes shining, and pats the spot next to her.

Whether the decision to place herself in a position beneath him was deliberate or not, it doesn't escape Chat's notice. It also doesn't feel right. He lowers himself to the roof beside his partner, back to equilibrium. Sort of.

"So, Chaton," she says, bumping his shoulder playfully. "You were extolling the virtues of our mutual friend Marinette?"

His cheeks heat. "I don't know that I was doing that, per se. But I stand by what I said. She's pretty awesome. And she would make the best teammate. I know she would."

Ladybug is silent for a long moment before she sighs heavily. "Chat, I know you want to bring her back, but it's just not a good idea."

"Ah, but that's where you're wrong, My Lady." He unzips his left side waist pocket and produces his handwritten list with a flourish. "It's a great idea, and I can prove it."

She blinks.

He continues, undaunted, as he unfolds the paper and snaps it crisply. He chooses to ignore his partner's facepalm.

"Number One: Marinette is smart."

"You already said that." Her voice is muffled behind her hand but he can still understand her. Also, just because she's right doesn't mean he plans to respond.

He has a list to read, after all. He does skip numbers four, seven, and twelve, since he already said she was creative, helpful, and quick-thinking. Chat is so glad he made the effort to put this together so he didn't forget anything. And Plagg made fun of him for spending such a long time on it!

"...and finally, Number Seventeen: Marinette is a super fast learner, and I know she would be a pro at this in no time."

In his mind, he can hear Plagg's drawl from over his shoulder as he completed the list last night.

"Hey, kid, you forgot Number Eighteen: Marinette looks really good in grey and pink."

"Come on, Plagg," he sighs in exasperation. "You know it's not like that."

"So you don't think she looks cute as Multimouse?"

A pause. "I don't think I've ever said either way whether I did or didn't."

"You're barely making sense, kid. Also, you're blushing."

He scowls. "Don't you have some Camembert to stink up my bedroom with?"

Plagg produces a piece of cheese from seemingly nowhere. Adrien wrinkles his nose in disgust.

"I can have my cheese and watch your disaster unfold at the same time, don't worry."

Ignoring his kwami, he carefully folds the paper and tucks it in his desk drawer. He'll have to remember to put it in his pocket after he transforms tomorrow. He smiles, thinking about the possibility of working with Multimouse again if he's able to convince Ladybug. Marinette is such a great friend, and this would be the perfect chance to spend more time with her...even if she won't know exactly who she's hanging out with.

"Oh, kid," Plagg laughs, snapping Adrien from his reverie. "You're a mess. I love it."

Adrien rolls his eyes good-naturedly. Plagg is a pain in the butt, but life would be so boring without him. "Love you, too, buddy."

Chat looks from the folded paper in his lap to his partner, awaiting her response. Her expression is unreadable but she seems to be trying to read him very, very carefully.

"Chat Noir," she says at last, "are you in love with Marinette?"

"What?" he sputters. "How did you get that from anything I said?" What was wrong with everyone? If he had a nickel for every time... Chat shakes his head. "No, LB, I'm not in love with her. Marinette is a very good friend."

She lets out a bark of laughter. "Yeah, she's got a couple of those."

Chat smiles warmly, happy at the thought that even Ladybug knows about their friendship. It's so important to him, whether hero or civilian, on her terrace or in class.

"You know you’re the only lady for me, Bugaboo, but it’s funny," he says with a wry laugh, "she actually reminds me a lot of you. One time I even--" He stops himself just in time. Ladybug doesn't need to know that tidbit from the Heroes Day picnic. He shrugs, still grinning. “The pigtails and blue eyes don’t help, I guess.”

Her eyes search his again for several long, almost uncomfortable moments. He hopes she finds what she's looking for. He couldn't be more sincere about this.

Finally, she sighs and asks, “I know she’s your friend, Minou, but have you considered her safety?”

Oh, he has that one covered. "Did you miss Number Three: Marinette is brave? She's stood up to bullies and authority figures and...and even really strict parents,” he says, ticking each example off on his fingers. “Not everyone can say that."

Ladybug stares at him for a moment. “How do you even know all those things, Chat?” She facepalms again and shakes her head. “Wait, no, don’t tell me.” She sighs again. “This is...a lot.”

To be quite honest, he doesn’t know why he wants this so badly. He cherishes the moments of fun with his partner outside the heat of battle (though even akumas can be a sort of thrilling fun of their own) and would happily share the role with just her, the red and black yin to his black and green yang.

But Adrien hasn’t been able to shake the memory of his friend’s bright smile and brighter spirit, her bravery in the face of unknown adversity, the way she executed that brilliant plan with Ladybug so perfectly that day, with no previous training whatsoever. Sweet Marinette, kind and just and selfless, was meant to be a hero. He knows it. And it isn’t fair that Ladybug is refusing to give her another chance just because of a misunderstanding.

He knows that if the roles were reversed, Marinette would fight for him. She’s amazing like that. This is the least he can do.

“Bug?” Chat asks quietly. He watches Ladybug’s hand slide down her face before her eyes meet his. “I know you’re the Guardian and not me, and I respect that. I really do. But please, My Lady, could you trust me, just this once, to choose a hero? Please?”

Her face falls, stricken, and his heart squeezes in his chest. He hadn’t meant to upset her. His mind is suddenly awhirl with how he can do damage control on the situation.

But she speaks before he can. “Oh, Kitty,” she breathes. “I do trust you, I promise. I know it must not seem like it sometimes, and I’m sorry.” She huffs a breath and looks down at her spotted hand where it now rests on his steel toes. “Being the Guardian is really difficult. These are big decisions, and…” She trails off, then looks up at him again.

Once more, her eyes search his. Once more, he wonders why she’s so reticent about what seems like a great suggestion for a hero.

He doesn’t understand why he’s had to fight so hard for this, when he knows that Marinette is a friend of Ladybug’s, too. None of it makes sense.

But as usual, he’ll defer to his partner. He’s said his piece on the matter.

“Okay,” she says at last, with yet another sigh.

A giddy glee rises in his chest and sings through his nerves as his face lights with a grin wide enough to make his cheeks ache.

“Thank you, Bugaboo!” She winces at his volume, so he tones it down. He can’t tone down his excitement, though. “This is going to be amazing! I can’t wait to tell her!”

“Calm down, you crazy cat,” she admonishes, though she’s fighting a smile. “I need some time to think about how we can do this, and we’ll have to have rules. Don’t look at me like that, Chaton, you know it’s true!”

He waves a gloved hand. “It’ll be fine. It’ll be more than fine. You’ll see, My Lady! You won’t regret this!”

For just a moment her smile looks more like a grimace, but when he blinks, that strange look is gone.

He stands, reaching out a hand to help his partner up as well. As she brushes herself off and reaches for her yo-yo, she watches him tuck the list back into his pocket.

“I’m still annoyed that your suit has pockets and mine doesn’t.”

“Isn’t your yo-yo equipped with infinite storage?”

“Pssh. That’s beside the point.”

After a beat of silence, their shared laughter echoes across the rooftops.

Ladybug unhooks her yo-yo and prepares to zip off for her slightly-delayed patrol. “Good night, Kitty,” she says warmly. “Marinette is lucky to have a friend like you.”

“Good night, Bug. And...thank you.”

She nods once, and then she’s gone.

Chat Noir sits down again, his feet swinging idly from the edge of the roof. He could - and should - go home, but the thought of his lonely bedroom is less than appealing. He’d love to stop by a certain pink, flower-filled terrace on the way back, though he doesn’t think he could keep this news a secret, and Ladybug clearly needed time to plan. He isn’t sure why it requires a plan, but, well, he’s not the Guardian. There’s probably a lot more to it than he’ll ever know.

He thinks of his dear friend and how excited she’ll be to find out she has a second chance to be a hero. He thinks of the fun they’ll have on a cat-and-mouse chase (he laughs out loud at his own joke) across rooftops on patrol, the pastries she’s sure to bring for them to share, the warmth of spending time close to someone he cares about so much.

He can’t wait to tell Plagg the list actually worked!

When he stands up a few minutes later, his heart is light. He can face returning to his lonely house knowing that he’ll see his friends tomorrow, including a soon-to-be part-time superhero. And best of all, by trusting his choice, Ladybug trusted him.

It’s late and he should probably be quieter, but as Chat Noir vaults from the rooftop toward home, it’s with a loud whoop of pure joy.

Birds of a Feather (Sometimes Fly Together) 2

So continuing off from Part 1 that @eve-v0lution had started:

Last we saw the girls, Jess had thrown one of her Feathers (one of her weapons while she was Sparrow) towards a shadow at her balcony, only for said shadow to catch it.

From the shadows emerged Gotham’s vigilantes who had called Jess, sister. 

Marinette stared at the four Gotham vigilantes bickering and talking between Jess and Aeon, Marinette having a hard time deciphering what was going on. 

It was a few moments later that someone slammed open the door, causing everyone to flinch or jump 

“It’s the middle of the night! Some people are trying to sleep!” Barbara scolds, Marinette watching as the four boys and Jess tense at those words. 

“The five of you, into the living room, now. Your father shouldn’t take long in getting here.”

“You called Bruce?” Marinette hears one of them say.

“No.”

“So who did?” Another one demanded to know. But with a stare, the boys did as they were told. As the siblings walked into the living room, they found Bruce pinching the bridge of his nose as Cass and Steph stood behind him, grins on their faces. 

“Of course.” Dick muttered, knowing the one behind this. Of course only the girls would get a kick out of snitching on them. Daddy’s little angels..

After a bit of catching up between the two families, Bruce finally decided to let Barbara get some rest, signaling his kids it was time to go. 

“Five. Six...Seven…” Bruce muttered as he watched Cass leave the apartment with another girl in tow. Wait, seven? Duke didn’t come with-

“Dad! Don’t go stealing other people’s children just because they have black hair and blue eyes!” Jesse yells, pulling back Marinette from Cass. “And why didn’t you stop yourself from being kidnapped by a serial adopter?”

“What?” -Marinette

“Uhhh, I thought I...Okay, I see your point.” -Bruce 

Jesse then introduces Bruce to Marinette and then again, but as Ladybug. Much to the two girl’s amazement, Bruce didn’t know much about her, wanting to station himself in Paris for a while to know what was truly going on. Using this window of opportunity, Jess went for it.

“Dad. We need your help. I need your help. I want to help Marinette take down the man terrorizing her home, Paris.”

Bruce knew how Barbara felt against Jess not being within her reach, hence why Jess rarely visits him in Gotham.

“Why don’t you ask your mother? Or Olympia? I’m sure they’re a better-“

“Dad. This is something only you can do. I need you to introduce us to the Justice League.”

Not being able to say no to Jesse, Bruce makes arrangements to introduce the two the JL, much to Barbara’s and Olympia’s concern

However the two quickly understood that it was something out of their reach to try and stop. Plus, they knew they’d be in good hands.

While they barely knew the JL, they knew two people on the team that would make sure the girls stayed safe: Bruce and Olympia’s mentor-Diana.

If anyone could help these two, it has to be her. After all, Queen Hippolyta was the previous wielder of the Ladybug.

The girls call it a night, although Jess barely gets any sleep due to her one-bed situation

Marinette leaves the next morning, much to Jess’ dismay, but is quickly cheered up when Bruce calls her later in the day, telling her that they can meet the JL as early as the next day.

The evening of the meeting, Jess agreed to wait for Marinette at her home, Marinette using Kaalki to teleport to Jess’ home. Upon arriving, Jess notices Ryuko and Bunnix with her, remembering the purpose of this reunion. From there Jess, Aeon and the Miraculous Team use the zeta tubes to head to Gotham, where Marinette meets Alfred.

Bruce gives them a rundown on how introductions will go and if its okay with Ladybug. Ladybug is fine with Batman introducing her team and Aquila and Aeon to the JL as she gets to tell the JL of her situation back in Paris.

Now at the WatchTower, Aquila notices Ladybug slightly nervous, placing a hand on her shoulder and giving a squeeze of support. 

Batman introduces Aquila, Aeon and the Miraculous Team to the JL, Ladybug stepping up and giving them the rundown of the situation in Paris

“-been tracking down the man behind this terror of three years. As time goes on, the battle continues to grow longer, my team becoming tired. While with each akuma we grow stronger, it’s also causing us to drift. It’s not helping that my main partner is flaking on me when I need him the most.” 

Aquila feels Ladybug start to quiver, deciding to hold her hand for support. Ladybug gives her a small smile back.

“That’s why I’ve come to you all. I can’t fight this war alone, I can’t continue to let my people suffer any longer. I want Hawkmoth to end his madness, but to do so, I need your help. So I ask of you, members of the Justice League...will you lend me your strength?”

Diana quickly establishes that she will help Ladybug in her battle to defeat Hawkmoth. So do the other members offer their help, one by one, causing Ladybug to swell in hope.

Just as Batman offers his help and is about to discuss a plan, an alarm echoes throughout the hall, everyone watching as Ladybug quickly whips out her yo-yo and begins to panic.

“Paris needs me. I’ll come back here as soon as possible.”
